Strange that you are blaming the captain. Warner did what he could do. If the batsmen are not scoring any runs, then what he can do about it? As such, I didn't found any fault with his tactics. Only he is scoring runs for the Delhi Capitals, and while bowling they are heavily dependent on Anrich Nortje. Mustafizur Rahman's poor form has been a dampener. One bright spot is that in yesterday's match Kuldeep Yadav and Mitchell Marsh had decent spells. But the main issue remains. As of now, there is no support for Nortje from any of the other pace bowlers.

I am not in particularly blaming Warner. What I meant he also like the team management doesn't have a clue as to what to do with the batting line-up. Prithvi Shaw has been out of form. The middle order is not reliable. The lower order has Axar Patel but if he is moved up the batting order then the lower order will struggle.

I am not bothered at the moment with bowling as if you have some good batters then they can always change the game.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 16, 2023, 02:26:49 AM
As usual DC made a mess of yesterday's match. Their batting is in shambles, niether the captain nor the team management has a clue as to what needs to be done. RCB bowlers were very effective and their fielding was spot on. I was expecting a close game as the target was not that big. I guess DC men need a word of advice from DC women team on how to play in a highly competitive tournament.
1764  Local / India / Re: Not all crypto earning will be taxed on the 30% on: April 16, 2023, 02:14:01 AM
1% TDS will be applicable on the total $7000. This is very important point. I missed it in my post above. When you sell crypto on Exchanges, the whole amount is considered as the transfer. So while showing the amount of consideration u/s 115BBH, you are required to show the whole amount $7000 but you can show $5000 as the cost of acquisition, hence the net amount chargeable to tax u/s 115BBH will be $2000.
Welcome back @webtricks. Looking at the signature that you are wearing I am assuming that we will now here from you more often.

This why it is better to use a local exchange than a P2P service platform as on a  local exchange TDS deduction is done instantly when you do a trade. Whereas if you do not use a local exchange you have to do the math all by yourself.

Just a reminder: 7 years jail if you do not pay TDS on time

We had debate on this topic manytimes. Can't expect anything good unless the current pig-4 system is removed. Right now Greg Barclay is the chairman of the ICC and he is a businessman with no experience in cricket. When people with no links to cricket are taking decisions, you can't really expect them to keep the health of the sport in mind. They only care about money. And countries such as UAE and USA are big markets, where the ICC believes that it is possible to earn good revenues. Nepal and Namibia are given much lower priority.

I think what ICC is doing is better for cricket and good for its revenue. They should focus more on Europe and US. They have already penetrated a larger portion of Europe and now it is time to penetrate the US. Middle East country have a lot of oil money but they know they cannot sustain it for long therefore they are venturing into sports tourism.

There are other deserving countries that do not have big economy but eventually in time they would be part of the big league through their players skills.

Harry Brooks destroyed KKR single handedly, out of the mammoth target of 228 his contribution was 100 and in just 55 balls. Rinku Singh did what he does best but the target was too big to chase.

Two games scheduled for today. First RCB VS DC and the next is LSG VS PBKS. DC's batting is in shambles so they are the least favourite. LSG is a much better team than PBKS.

Check this website kycnot.me, here you will find the list of all decentralized exchanges with P2P services and you don't need to pass kyc. On some you even don't need to provide email address for registration. I highly recommend Bisq exchange.
I also mentioned that in the OP

I might have misses it on the OP. I also wanted to add that the list on that website is not updated as they have still LocalCryptos listed over there. There are other two non kyc & P2P exchanges which I forgot to mention. They are: LocalCoinSwap & OpenPeer.

Qatar atleast has 60% native players and remaining 40% are expats but still have the nationality. That's not the case with cricket, if you see teams of UAE then there is no local player as all are either from Pakistan or India. The downside of this approach is that nations that are passionate about cricket are suffering alot like Nepal. ICC has no objection on such team of expats which mean they will continue to have team like this.

Arabs are crazy about football and least interested in cricket. Whereas the ex-pats working and living in the middle east are least bothered about football but are crazy about cricket. So the government in these countries was already making money from soccer and now they have started doing the same for cricket. In a decade you might see some countries hosting the T20 world cup.

Nepal is not a nation where cricket is played more they are also crazy about soccer. Football has penetration at the school level and if they want cricket to thrive they need to work on some basics. Otherwise they have the option to always buy players for their national team.

GT made a mess yesterday! I did not expect them to struggle while chasing a tiny target of 150+ runs. The last over by Sam Curran was an explosive one I had a feeling at that time that GT might lose against PBKS. If Hardik Pandya had not played that stupid shot I think this last-over, the last-ball mess could have been avoided. Another game ended giving me high blood pressure.

Expecting today's IPL match between KKR & SRH to be in the same manner. Rinku Singh the batter who has made an enormous name after his high-power batting in the previous match against GT will be my player to watch for.

you know our local shops like kirana stores, novelties, hardware shops, etc. all accepts online payments like google pay, paytm, phonepe, upi, etc.

what if we convince our local shop owner's to try accepting payments in bitcoin like sticking a printout(QR code) of wallet address in next to other QR codes(google pay, upi)

in this way our people who are not familiarized with bitcoin will also start to learn about crypto and bitcoin. is it a good idea? anyone will try to convince locals?

You Idea is awesome! What I want you do is just convince a local shop owner in accepting Bitcoin. If you are able to succeed then do post those pictures on you topic.

I would like someone to dare. BTW I have a few Kirana stores and hardware guys who have made a purchase of a small amount of Bitcoin. I also can post their pictures holding their mobile phone as they have Mycelium wallet.

Do it then post it on the Bitcoin Discussion thread with all the proofs as in pictures. Do hide thier face and buisness name. If you are able to do that you would become a known member on this forum.

Do remember if you try to scam members with fake photos it will make a negative impact and won't help you in the future.

BTW, you gave me a good idea of a good topic.
1772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 13, 2023, 04:46:35 AM
Actually it's India who has decided not to play in Pakistan and now PCB is boycotting ODI world cup in India (its not final though). Najam Sethi said yesterday we have to face 3 million USD loss if we gave up Asia cup and our relations with ICC will go down if we boycott ODI worldcup. I don't its issue to two boards rather it's only BCCI decision that has created this deadlock. Surprisingly BCCI and Indian government has no objection in India Pakistan match to be played in India.

In the end, what matters is whether Pakistan will take part in the upcoming ODI or not. I think they will as they do not have any choice, they are already in talks with ICC as they want to play all their games in two cities (Kolkatta and Chennai). ICC would need to consult with BCCI before giving a confirmation to PCB. In the end the ball again lies on the court of BCCI and I do not think they will decline this request.

F&ck why are these guys keep producing the last ball finish? Are they trying to give a heart attack to punters and fans or what?  Grin

This is ridiculous! Absolutely loving it adrenaline rush towards the end. This edition produced some crackers in the initial phase, normally these sorts of close matches come in the later part of the tournament.

They have made a habit of ending the match in the last bowl. Predicting an outcome of a match is now next to impossible. The best adrenaline rush that I got was when I saw Rinku Singh destroying GT. If we are getting so excited watching the match on Television just imagine how much the stadium crowd is enjoying. Saw a few writing on a different thread that this time the excitement is missing in IPL. LOL! They might have read that now it is every game everyday.
1774  Local / India / Re: Another fraud of INR 1000 Cr is added to the history of Indian Bank Fraud! on: April 13, 2023, 03:05:39 AM
A lot has been improved and a lot needs to be improved in the Indian Banking sector. I agree if such fraud was caught on an Indian cryptocurrency exchange then the coverage of Indian media would have been tenfold.

Bank fraud would happen in the future too due to corruption within the banking system. A lot has changed since 2014 now we are hearing about bank frauds but before that time we would rarely read or hear that Banks also committed fraud.

The reason why Indians do not trust cryptocurrency is because of its volatility and uncertainty. Another reason is that we Indians are very reluctant in accepting anything new. It would take time for Indians to understand the true potential of cryptocurrency.

So facebook ads really need to step up and do a conprehensive screening to whoever wanted to do an ads. Since its a popular social sites, ads there tend to be legit for others but it seems scammers can easily do a business or promotions simply like this.

Facebook is dirtier than Google, the process of running an advertisement is similar to Google but the reach is absolutely amazing. They are only targeting specific genres & segments of users. Not everyone can see such an advertisement which makes this advertisement more effective. As we know idiots are everywhere I am sure they have already gathered tons of email addresses and phone numbers. The only way such advertisements can be stopped is by mass reporting them to Facebook.

SKY is the biggest example on how a good T20 talent gets destroyed because the selectors wanted him to play on all formats. He is now being branded as a batter who has earned the crown of Golden duck in 26 days. In the last six inning he has scored 0, 1, 15, 0, 0, 0. I do not know what will he do in ODI or test cricket but the format for which he is known as a player who can play 360 he is struggling to score a single run.

Can this be called as a bad patch/form or a pressure to play all three formats of the game placed by the Indian selectors.
1777  Local / India / Re: What happens next? on: April 12, 2023, 01:48:05 AM
next they try to collect information of people who buy/sell crypto from exchanges/p2p.

They already have accomplished that with KYC on all centralized exchanges based locally and internationally.

and go after the big ones first and arrest a few..

and charge them with money laundering or drugs or terrorism etc.

This is on the horizon! Most probably we will hear such news after July of this year.

What do you think will be the next move? Will it be a new tax law to suck the blood out of us or will be it against the local exchanges & international exchanges. If you have anything on your mind then go on and reply.

This year and the next we won't see anything happening. By end of this year, G20 might release a paper on how to tackle and control the crypto space. Since we are in India we can expect some of those recommendations to be added to the existing law by 2025 or later.

DC VS MI

DC has lost all 3 games they have played till now and MI has lost 2. Both teams are struggling this season and I think DC would have an upper edge in today's game. The match is being played in Delhi and looking at the form of MI star batters I think DC might win its first game. Rohit Sharma needs to find his form first and replace a few players who have been struggling to bat especially SKY.

David Warner has been playing well, but his strike rate is not at par with the T20 format. DC should also find a replacement for Prithvi Shaw as in the last three matches he has no clue what he is going to do with his bat.
1779  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: South Korean crypto exchange GDAC hacked for nearly $14M on: April 11, 2023, 06:29:31 AM
2020 and 2021 were the worst years in terms of crypto exchnage getting hacked. Most of the time it is a rouge employee who does it. Still these exchanges won't do enough to secure the funds of users.

Users still do not not understand the concept of "not your key not your coins" and keep blindly trusting exchanges. When a hack happens they will put the blame on cryptocurrency market for their downfall. Next the mainstream media would come into action and start spreading lies.

This is a vicious cycle that has been going on from 2012. The worst part is that no one is willing to accept their fault. Niether the exchange nor the users of those hacked exchanges.

Chasing a target of 213 is never going to be easy, but somehow Lucknow Super Giants managed to do it. And my condolences to Royal Challengers Bangalore. If they can't win a match after setting up a 210+ target, then I don't know whether they will ever win anything. All the effort from Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell was wasted yesterday. And let's not forget the fact that the Lucknow Super Giants at one point were reeling at 23/3 after 4 overs. But those superhuman knocks from Nicholas Pooran and Marcus Stoinis just destroyed RCB. 62 runs from 19 balls? Seriously?

What happened yesterday was un imaginable Huh. Thanks to some lose bowling LSG were able to clear the big run gap. The match was a nail biting one as till the last ball certainty never prevailed. I personally was expecting super over but that did not happened.

Nicholas Pooran breaks the record of Rahane for the fastest 50 in IPL. As usual KL Rahul did what he is known for best. He batted as if he was playing and ODI series. His form has been the main concern and I think it would hamper his selection in the Indian squad.

Some crazy bowling by Wood and Shiraz. They both kept the batter guessing as what ball will be bowled next. Shiraz has improved his balling immensely Inam sure he will be part of the playing 11 in the upcoming ODIWC.
