1761  Other / Meta / Re: Shady stalking going on on: September 05, 2016, 03:11:57 AM
Did he save it from when it was listed on my profile?
Very probably. Public information is public.

That's the one that's linked to various "markets" (you guys know what I mean)
If you have an address that's linked to various "markets" (if I know what you mean), why on Earth would you ever put it in your public profile? Bitcoin isn't anonymous, you know. Don't be surprised if you have LEOs knocking on your door soon.
1762  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is user BADecker a paid troll, or just a simple idiot? on: September 04, 2016, 12:06:51 PM
Hmm so how much are you makin' ?
I wonder are you making more for your paid trolling than me ?
i hope not  Angry

You would NOT believe who my boss is that pays me !  Shocked
However much they're paying you, it's too much.
1763  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best method to invest and have insured earnings? (I'm new) on: September 04, 2016, 03:15:13 AM
The best method to invest is to focus on industries you understand so that you may use your knowledge to spot the opportunities for profit that others don't. If you're "new in this world of cryptocurrency", you probably shouldn't invest in it just yet.

The best (indeed, only) method to have insured earnings is to get a job and buy income protection insurance. There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.
1764  Other / Off-topic / Re: [NEWS] Grammar-Nazi war of 2016 on: September 02, 2016, 11:23:17 AM
I'd hardly call infighting a "war", but mister "trio is an adjective" babadook ought to be shot for insubordination.

Most all because I chose to be the grammar Nazi... and many others think they are more Nazi than I.
You're not a grammar nazi unless you're correct.  You aren't.
1765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Zero confirmations, im being warned on: August 30, 2016, 08:38:22 AM
Unconfirmed transactions aren't on the blockchain. Any transaction that is on the blockchain has at least one confirmation. That's what confirmation means.

This is such a fundamental concept that I'd stay away from any payment provider that doesn't understand it.
1766  Other / Off-topic / Re: [POLL] Are you Gay ? on: August 29, 2016, 09:18:02 AM
And to the guy earlier who said he'd kill himself if the Gay-Agenda "turned him"
You would not !
Because once you are gay you would be.. gay.
Get it ?
It means your desires would now be substituted with another.
Because no gay person has ever killed themselves because they were ashamed of their desires or what other people think of them or had been brought up to believe that such desires are "wrong". That absolutely never happens and is not a serious issue. </sarcasm>

I usually tell people why would you care who is or isn't.
You've been doing a poor job of it, it must be said.

The Bible does not advocate Gay behavior.
"...unless they're lesbians." - Leviticus 18:22˝ Wink
1767  Other / Off-topic / Re: [POLL] Are you Gay ? on: August 27, 2016, 01:04:10 PM
One day everyone will be gay !
Including you? Are you trying to tell us something?
1768  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is with this user? on: August 21, 2016, 05:58:11 AM
TBH I find the quality to be above average.
Sadly, this is true.

Low chance he will be banned. Grin
Zero chance, unless he goes completely off the rails like dank did.
1769  Economy / Reputation / Re: What is with this user? on: August 20, 2016, 02:12:23 PM
What do you mean "lately"? He's a certified grade-A kook.
1770  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [VIDEO] CERN Busted Performing Ritualized Child Sacrifice in their Courtyard on: August 20, 2016, 09:13:15 AM
What kind of activity? Making prank videos to fool gullible people such as yourself? Yeah, it's pretty widespread. It's part of joint effort between the Freemasons and the Bavarian Illuminati to distract conspiracy theorists from what they're really up to. This tactic has proven quite successful so far.

Also, my sources inform me that your veggie dog problem is unrelated. The Freemasons deny all involvement and the Illuminati are still annoyed that they didn't think of it first.
1771  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-08-18]Gregory Maxwell: “Vitalik Buterin Ran A Quantum Computer Scam” on: August 20, 2016, 02:23:46 AM
Its absurd, attacking NP problems in polynomial time?
Yes, it's absurd. That's what I just said using different words.

So again, that is my question - how do you even think a viable quantum computing approach can be achieved in software?
I don't think that. I was pointing out that simulated quantum computing is a real thing (contrary to your claim that it's impossible), and that it doesn't do what Vitalik says it does at all. I thought I was clear in my post exactly what it is and isn't a viable approach for.
1772  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-08-18]Gregory Maxwell: “Vitalik Buterin Ran A Quantum Computer Scam” on: August 19, 2016, 02:44:52 AM
How in the living fuck do you 'simulate' quantum processing?
Short answer: Very slowly. Long answer: Since the wave function of a quantum system is really just an ordinary mathematical function, it can be calculated by traditional methods. This is very useful for designing quantum computers and algorithms, but not useful at all for actually solving quantum-computable problems, due to the aforementioned slowness, which gets exponentially worse the more complex the simulated system is.
1773  Other / Off-topic / Re: why doesn't the world see bitcoin as mark of the satoshi on: August 17, 2016, 03:41:15 AM
It's a pity God didn't tell you to take lessons in English grammar first. Undecided
1774  Other / Off-topic / Re: Math riddle my 8th grader needs help with? on: August 17, 2016, 03:28:24 AM
4444 + 444 + 44 + 44 + (4 x 4) + 4 + 4 +4 = 5004
4444 + 444 + 44 + 44 + 44 - 4 - ( 4 x 4 ) = 5000
That's cheating. He said using only the number 4, not the numeral 4. Here's what I came up with:

((4/4) + (4/4) + (4/4) + 4 + 4(4+4)) x 4 x 4 x (4+4) + 4 + 4 =
(1 + 1 + 1 + 4 + 4(8)) x 16 x 8 + 8 =
(7 + 32) x 128 + 8 =
39 x 128 + 8 =
4992 + 8 =
5000
1775  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Want to join a signature campaign on: August 15, 2016, 03:21:35 PM
I just finished reading your post history, and in my opinion the quality of the historical posts from your account is somewhere between 0% and 10%.
Really? Ten percent? You reckon there may be as many as five quality posts in his history? I think your standards are dropping. Tongue

I count exactly zero and would have ignored him already if he had posted anywhere I actually care enough to read. (I don't ignore people based on their signatures, yet nearly everyone I do ignore has or eventually obtains a paid sig. Isn't that interesting?)
1776  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about topics on: August 14, 2016, 08:06:42 AM
No.

12. No duplicate posting in multiple boards (except for re-posting it in the local language boards if it's translated).
1777  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Issues with coin control... on: August 14, 2016, 03:46:32 AM
It's only available when using coin control and you've already selected your inputs. Otherwise how can you even know what a good total fee is?
1778  Other / Off-topic / Re: Beach female photos - look here - 116 pcs on: August 11, 2016, 07:07:53 AM
Alright, rule number one of dressing sexy: expose the parts of your body that are sexy, cover the parts of your body that you want people to think are sexy. The latter part is why lingerie is sexier than nudity, and why unattractive people are less so the more they wear. Large women can look sexy, but not by wearing a bikini!

I don't understand this "every body is a bikini body" thing. It's a complete falsehood. There is a certain body type that looks good in a bikini. Other body types look good in other types of swimwear. You do your body (and everyone seeing it) a disservice when you try to wear the wrong thing because you feel you have to.
1779  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: August 11, 2016, 06:25:52 AM
I think you need to look up what ad-hominem means. This is you attacking the person delivering the message instead of the argument itself. You are saying that I am a scammer (which is libel), and therefore whatever I say should be ignored, despite the fact that my arguments are easily independently verified.
I think you're the one who needs to look it up. Argumentum ad hominem is fallacious only inasmuch as the personal attack is irrelevant to the argument in question, that is, it is a logical non sequitur. But the argument that "scammers are not to be trusted, you are a scammer, therefore you are not to be trusted" is perfectly valid logic, so if you want to refute it, you'll have to disprove the premises. 1780  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remember when Bitcoin was new and..... on: August 11, 2016, 04:57:00 AM
and sig campaigns.  Did those exist in 2011?
No. It was a wonderful time of joy and innocence, with ignore lists populated by kooks and trolls instead of spammers. Oh, how I yearn for those days.

You know of course that in 2020 we could all be looking back fondly on 2016.  I am hoping that happens.
I hope not. That would mean the future's even worse! Undecided
