Local thread rules: I want to hear from moderators, anyone who is not a moderator is not allowed to post.
I am (one of) the users who reported your posts in that thread; is that good enough? OP: "Is hijacking a thread illegal?"
Answer: Yes. That's why I reported your posts in that thread, and why they were subsequently deleted. There was also a third party that had their comment in reply deleted. This kind of response is not at all convincing that they don't selectively enforce the rules.
Replies to deleted posts are also deleted as a matter of course, since they no longer serve any purpose. Any other questions?

Ok, I accept that merit sources need to work like that to remain a merit source, can't theymos do it with normal users too who demand some sMerits?
Theymos occasionally promotes normal users to the status of merit source, though you'll need to do more than "demand some sMerits" to be worthy of consideration.

Should I put a mark in the trust, or is it the work of moderators?
It's a job for the mods. Pick a post made by the ban evader (preferably one that proves they are evading their ban) and report it. Be sure to state in your report that the report is for ban evasion (along with the identity of the originally banned account and a link to evidence, if it's not obvious from the post) and the mods will deal with it. Or is it simply not paying attention?
Mods aren't gods; they don't see all. That's why you're encouraged to report rule violations whenever you see them.

Now, when you can decay as it's all under your authority, isn't it possible for you to add sMerits to active merits senders' profiles and see if they actively do it ahead or not? And if I don't do it, just decay them after a given timeline to me?
Because that's pretty much exactly how merit sources work already. Merit sources don't have to spend any or all of their sMerits, and while source sMerit doesn't decay, it doesn't accumulate either: if a source doesn't spend their monthly sMerits allocation, they don't get any more. (Incidentally, sMerits do not decay and never have. That message just indicates that they might decay if theymos changes his mind about that, but he hasn't yet.)

How long did it take you to draw this?
About a hour or so per day for nearly two weeks. Less than half of that time was actually drawing; most of my time was spent on clean-up and post-processing. I'm curious, but get a "403 Forbidden".
Also got this error on Firefox, refreshing the page or copying the link and opening in a new tab helps if someone has the same problem. Hmm. It seems I also get a 403, but only when using Wget over Tor. Wget without Tor works, as does every browser I've tried with or without Tor. I don't understand it; I've never had a problem with this host before (except years ago when they messed up their transition to HTTPS, but that's another story). In any case, the forum's image proxy seems to have no such problems, so as a workaround you can quote the OP, replace the image URL, and click Preview (but don't actually post it, of course). EDIT: I've got a better idea.
Good view, but...
the Sherminator sensors detect no female life forms in the vicinity.
Focus your sensors more closely on the NSFW version. When you see it... you'll probably be reaching for another bottle, actually. I can't let Lauda have a monopoly on gender confusion, can I?

I also changed my port from 9050 to 8333 in bitcoin-qt - since everyone else seems to be using 8333
Are you referring to your proxy setting? Because that setting doesn't refer to the port used by Bitcoin, but rather the port used by your proxy server. The setting is of no relevance if you're not using a proxy. In fact, if you intent to follow BitCryptex's advice and connect using Tor as a proxy, you'll need to change it back (9050 is the default setting because that's what Tor normally uses).

Maybe I sounded little salty by using this: so more people see your entry. I know among all reasons, Foxpup certainly didn't create this thread so that his/her art gets more engagement. But my point was if someone else tried to do something similar, does the community reacted in same way? Is there a common consensus (completely involuntary) grew over time that entitles certain high ranked members to create such threads while others may be regarded as spammers if they try something similar? Just a thought, nothing serious though.
Rank doesn't factor into whether a user is regarded as a spammer; it's just that spammers so rarely achieve high ranks in the first place. Anyone of any rank who has something worthwhile to say may create a thread about it without fear of being labelled a spammer, the key word being "worthwhile". While the worthwhileness requirement does disqualify most of the entrants in this contest who seem to have put exactly as little effort into their "art" as everything else they post on the forum, that's not my problem. I also fail to see how it's your problem, either, so I don't really understand what you're complaining about, but if you insist on continuing this conversation I suggest you take suchmoon's advice and create your own thread about it - this one is supposed to just be a fun celebration.

Just because you are Foxpup, you can create a separate thread so more people see your entry?
I'm nobody special. Anybody can create a separate thread for their entry if they wish. I did so not so that more people would see it, but simply because I was afraid the somewhat controversial nature of my art would lead to many comments that would derail the contest thread, which is already painful enough to navigate as it is. (On a related note, I'd like to thank Last of the V8s for not quoting the full-size image.)

And I don't know if I should be happy or disappointed that the uncensored version is still a bit censored...
I'm less shocked than I expected. Maybe this forum has hardened me over the years.
Well, I have to keep things tasteful. That's what distinguishes erotica from pornography.
I am speechless. I've never thought I'd see a furry on Bitcointalk. Crap, have to give merit now.
You mean you never saw Rassah's coffee table? (Actually, that's probably for the best...)

This is the official NSFW discussion thread for my eyebrow-raising entry in 10th anniversary art contest. Please don't merit this post; merit the original post instead.Since this is a celebration for the whole forum, there are no local rules and everyone's invited (even The-One-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named). Just remember that all global rules remain in effect, in particular Rule 10: No embedded NSFW images. Links only. Label any such links as NSFW even though that's probably redundant. With that out of the way, let's get this party started!Since it seems nobody else knows how to properly celebrate such a momentous occasion as this, here's my long-awaited entry (in more ways than one). Admittedly not the most directly related to bitcointalk.org, but we could hardly celebrate its 10th anniversary without everything depicted here, could we now? Be sure not to miss the afterparty in the foxhole, with "all-access" passes available for merit/trust gangsters. Note: To avoid derailing this thread with what I'm sure will be many questions, comments, and raised eyebrows, please post all such remarks in the thread I will create for just that purpose. And party hard!* Digital drawing from scratch using reference photos taken by myself, of myself (no, I'm not posting them, for obvious reasons). I also used as a reference a picture of a certain familiar feline who is sure to deny all involvement. Some logos and trademarks were traced from references, some drawn freehand. Text set in Ubuntu and Haettenschweiler. All trademarks are property of their respective owners. NSFW version available here: d.facdn.net/art/foxpup/1572178064/1572178017.foxpup_btcntlk10yrs.pngEDIT: Proxied NSFW link (since apparently my host Cloudflare is randomly blocking everyone but the forum's image proxy): ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fd.facdn.net%2Fart%2Ffoxpup%2F1572178064%2F1572178017.foxpup_btcntlk10yrs.png&t=606&c=_nxC8XEpAwRvaQBTC address (since fluorescent ink stencilled on bare fur doesn't make for the most readable QR code): 18f2Aq4mH3irHHLreCtZgMTY1ijuCpKXgR*Don't party too hard: I nearly broke a tooth holding that whisky bottle like that. Not to mention that she knew exactly what happened and she’s making it sound like she created the whole design. She used a template. And she hardly even changed it. She put the bitcoin over the suns face. Compare hers and the original. Mine is 70% changed from the template. But that’s besides the point. She also made it sound like she works for Canva or “does marketing for Canva” she said. She does NOT. She uses the software to create graphics which she then can use for marketing in whatever the hell she is working on. She does not work for Canva in any capacity.
In that case, I apologise.
