1761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Society’s Curse or Boon? on: March 06, 2017, 11:11:56 PM
I think Bitcoin is a boon, it gives a new set of opportunities, new set of option of money transfers and it is really far from the government manipulation since it is decentralized (that is if it is used as peer to peer and not using any 3rd party exchange for a transaction.).  Another thing is, those who are not qualified for a bank account can now enjoy the benefits from Bitcoin in transferring money and doing transactions online.
1762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ETF POLL APPROVAL / REJECTION on: March 06, 2017, 10:30:38 PM
I voted for approval though that is somehow a wishful thinking since I am not actually sure that it will be approved.  All the decision is upto SEC and the only thing we can do is hope they will get what majority of the community wants and approve it.
1763  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will storing bitcoin kill it? on: March 06, 2017, 08:18:05 PM
Definitely if all people are storing Bitcoin and no one is using it, then people will tend to forget about Bitcoin and start pulling out their demand.  Once there is no more demand for Bitcoin, then Bitcoin will definitely die.  But I bet people will sell it once the price starts to go down.
1764  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy at $780-800 USD on: March 05, 2017, 11:13:06 PM
There is no chance to buy bitcoin under 1,000$  Do not say $800. it's just a day dream. the prediction is at 1,500$ in May, 2017 and it could hit 2,000$ at the end of 2017.

Lol if you read when this thread were created.  OP was right, to buy at those price.  If you look at how much Bitcoin is right now, and listen to the OP and bought at $800, you will be enjoying a $400 profit.  I do not know if this charge will continue if ETF is disapproved. I hope ETF rejection does not have much effect if ever.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: March 05, 2017, 09:58:18 PM
I am not an regular gambler as I gamble with a small amount and that also once in a blue moon and I don't remember that I have won big someday but if I win then I would prefer to cash them out for fiat currency and spend them on my basic stuffs as if I keep on spending them on gambling again then there is a full possibility that I will loose everything that I have won so the smart thing would be either to spend that money or invest in trading.

It is really better to cash out than let the winnings sit in the Casino.  Temptation is strong, do not test yourself with it.  In due time you will succumb to the temptation.  So it would be wise to cash out and save it.  Never put your winnings as your bankroll.  You will never win this way.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you Rich from Gambling? on: March 05, 2017, 09:37:56 PM
Well i think the people that actually become rich in gambling are those who expect nothing from it. Luck basically is the key factor if someone is going to be rich by gambling. It may come but to very few people only. If we want to be rich, i think we have to set gambling aside and work hard for it.
People don't gamble because they don't expect anything, they gamble because they expect/hope they will win money.

Some people are in for amusement so definitely money is not the only thing involved here but yeah these people expect entertainment.

I think it is possible to get rich by Gambling. But i don't think it is a easy and good idea because we all know that gambling is not fair. It has a strategy and it is very unfair.
Gambling is fair, one side will always win. Strategy can be good or bad, it can't be unfair.

Not with house edge Smiley provably fair in rolling that it is not rigged or whatever but with a house edge it is actually unfair since house have edge every roll.

First, you will gain and gain but afterwards all of your earnings even if it is doubled or tripled will lost until nothing will left from your earnings.
It's pretty much how house edge works. In short run you will win, and in long run casino will win.

Nope even short runs house edge wins until house dominate the winning in the long run.

But ofcourse if you want to get rich you need some strategy and you have to know when to stop gambling if you're earning.
If you stop when you are earning, than you wont become rich, right?

If you always quit when you are winning, this means you are getting more and more wins without loses, definitely you will be rich if this continues.
1767  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: March 04, 2017, 11:38:26 PM
I think you need to wait and see if the price stays for long time then you can make that claim cvehemently.

Honestly there is nothing to claim here in my opinion.  Bitcoin and gold are two different stocks and traded in two different market.  Though I admit Bitcoin just overrun gold price but due to the fact that Bitcoin is highly volatile and the possible downtrend of its price is more likely, it is still not good to compare Gold and Bitcoin.
1768  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: March 04, 2017, 10:48:00 PM
Actuary i am  working hard in other to get my bitcoin  with faucet assignment every day but it doesn't flow.  well i am always looking for an opportunity where i reach a level of having signature .

I won't tell you that faucet is a waste of time but rather would suggest you some possible add on earning for your faucet collection.  Try to look at altcoin market or Bitcoin services, if you havea twitter account with more than 500 followers, you can use it by participating in their twitter campaign.
1769  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: March 04, 2017, 09:58:33 PM
What if somebody will make a huge dump and sell it all the way to earn some profits because of this rally in bitcoin, and someone sees it and do that same thing. Is there any effect on bitcoin when someone to this,?
Such dumps can be done only in altcoins in which marketcap is low.Bitcoin cannot be dumped easily as its market cap is very high. But the only people who could dump bitcoin now is chinese as they hold lots of bitcoins due to big mining farms. We just saw that effect two months before when chinese bitcoin holders sold their bitcoins due to PBOC actions.

If you look at bitcoin history maybe you need to think again.  Dumps can happen to any market.  Especially when a whale wanted to exit.  We cannot remove the fact that in every trading market, there is always whales who have influence and have a huge holdings that whenever he planned to exit can cause a massive dump to the market.  Bitcoin is no exemption.  When weak hand saw this, they are quickly shaken and thus resulting for further dump.
1770  Other / Off-topic / Re: How are you earning BTC? on: March 04, 2017, 09:02:18 PM
Btc could be earn through couple of ways.

- Providing the freelancing services to clients and get btc as a payment mode.
- If some one takes the risk of gambling can earn btc
- Through signature campaign and participating in faucets as well.

Gambling is not really a way to make money, you may win once in a while when you get lucky but the truth is that we should not expect to win every single time and that is why gambling is not a reliable way to make bitcoin.

Definitely it is not the way to make money.  People consider this as a game where they can earn a stake thru winning the game, this maybe made to earn extra BTC at a cost of the possibility of losing their own BTC.  I would not suggest to make this as way of earning BTC else, they should look for more stable way of earning Bitcoin.  Find a day job and buy bitcoin, that, sure is the best way to earn BTC.
1771  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see another price dip if ETF isn't approved? on: March 01, 2017, 11:45:20 PM

Definitely, price will crash when ETF is rejected, the once hype and price increase will become a bubble, then the rejection will be the pin to burst.  The damage depends on how the whales wanted to manipulate it.  If whales ride the negative news then we can see the price to deep more than the normal effect.
1772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale Basketball Betting System on: March 01, 2017, 06:08:56 AM
This is really a dangerous game you're playing OP. I've tried this in college and lost a lot of funds on this style. Especially if you are betting on different leagues and teams. It is like using martingale on different casino games every bet. Well, I wish the best of luck to you, but be careful, if you get a long losing streak then you'll for sure won't be able to fund the amount of bets you need.

have you seen the graph provided by OP?  Does this show dangerous?  If you can see he bet and have a continous losing streak but in just one win he is back in track again with profit.  This is much better than using martingale method in dice.
Every method is dangerous or risky because we are doing sports betting which is gambling, your experience should be different from OP since he is currently on profit. Bankroll management is not the major thing that makes him won the game, it's his ability to cap games which resulted to a better picks.

We are talking about the method OP used  in relation to his experience and proficiency.  I can say the method of martingale tandem with his skill and knowledge in picking the winning team is not dangerous.  Saying it in general term does not relate with this thread.
1773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you use analysis when play gambling? on: March 01, 2017, 06:01:23 AM
Just want know how much the gamblers who use analysis when play gambling and what kinds of gambling game? And do you think it is needed or not making analysis on gambling game or it is depend on lucky. Thanks for share your opinions and experience.

Yes I am, that is the most effective way tools for the gambler. But sometimes its useless, maybe it depends on the gambler who He use his analysis, I think it also need a right timing in the games. But analysis applied only in poker game card.

Just one question, do you think of the amount you want to bet in dice?  Do you study statistics in sports betting?  Do you think what is the possible pull in a slot to make it produce a winning combination? Do you think of the previous winning number in lottery and base your next bet there?.  If it is a yes then it is not only poker game that needs analysis but all gambling games.
1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is your favorite gambling game? on: March 01, 2017, 05:35:18 AM
One of my favorite is dice.  Simple, easy, fast and less thinking. After setting up the analysis of how much bankroll, X% in martingale each time I lost, the winning limit and losing limit everything is automatic.  Next is sportsbetting  specially egames though I am not that good with statistics I just go with the tipster  Grin Grin Grin
1775  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it still worth it to trade? on: March 01, 2017, 04:54:17 AM
There is full of empty replies in this thread. It all depends on how good you are in trading. I know that most of the people here that said yes are mostly losing traders and are not part of the top 10% of winning traders. So who are you to say that it is worth it?

Talking about volatility, when it is low it is the best time to buy because the prices are more stable. If you are a day trader and prefer more volatility then adapt with what the market is doing. Day trading is less profitable in the current condition of the market.

I do not see any new information about trading in your reply except for some insults to the earlier people that reply before you.  Besides your reply is also generic being said almost all the replies before you thus making it worst than empty.   If you think your reply/post is special because you insult other people you are wrong it is worst than the most empty reply here.

Right now we can see that Bitcoin is becoming more stable this year, I would not recommend this for day trading as it will not make you earn anything. However for Swing Trading it is a perfect candidate in which you will wait for a correction of its price then you can buy Bitcoin and wait for it to rise back up. If you are not patient for a swing/position trade then you should look at trading altcoins instead.
Dude the price of bitcoin are not stable because as you can see the price of bitcoins are really increasing compared last month and how come it's not worth to trade?

Indeed the unstable price of Bitcoin made it worth to trade.  The volatility is the key factor for profit in trading.

1777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: March 01, 2017, 04:11:42 AM
No not at all

In my experience long term gambling is a really dangerous way of gambling. I am losing a lot of my faucet bitcoin because of that. Maybe try to reduce that gambling into a short term to reduce your lost.

It is a very dangerous thing if you are going to treat it as a source of income for a longer term. And if you want to make gambling profitable for a longer term, I don't think that there's another way for it if we keep on gambling again and again for a daily basis. It's doesn't make sense on how long we are already playing with it.
Gambling on a daily basis without a good result is not considered doing it as a source of income but rather just a pure stupidity and we will only be stupid if we are already addicted in gambling. Most of us dream to make gambling as our source of income as we know how much we can earn doing it, but seems the journey is very hard to do so only few of us succeeded to reach our dreams.

Whether you gamble or not on a daily basis by just treating gambling as a source of income is already a crazy thing. Those guys who are thinking that way will surely end up into regret that they had treat gambling this way. But for those guys that are wise and thinking that gambling can be a good way for investing will be the ones that can earn for a long term.
but I think a wise person would not make gambling as a source of income he would opt for a real job, as you say into gambling as a source of income is a crazy thing

Actually a wise person will make gambling as another source of his income (secondary or tertiary) as an investor since casino's are offering deposits to their bankrolls. But treating gambling a source of income as a gambler is such a crazy thing. I know that you got the point that I'm saying. And playing gambling in the long term won't help.

A wiser person stay away from gambling and make his time more fruitful by developing skills, services, business or anything that does not depend on random event.  Wiser person will definitely form a secure foundation in everything he does to make all his action worthy and not a waste of time establishing weaker foundations that can easily crumble.
1778  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: March 01, 2017, 03:32:14 AM
Yes I've lost more than $100 in gambling but it's easy to give up gambling by keeping yourself occupied. I left gambling now and it's good if you want to live a good life.

Good to know for you pal but not all the time other gamblers can do it easily. Also there are some that treating $100 as a big amount and they can't help themselves to accept that they've lost that amount because of gambling. And instead of taking up a rest, they keep on pushing themselves again and gamble all the time.

some people say giving up gambling is and some of them is not, i think its depend with that person because if he is really addicted with gambling then he can have difficulties to giving up from gambling. but if he have strong will to quit from gambling then i think he can do with easy and he can stay away from the gambling place.

I agree, how easy to give up on gambling depends on the person's situation.  People who are obsessed and addicted will have difficulty in giving up gambling activities due to fear of missing out (obsessed) and needed mood altering medium (addicted).  While those who is not suffering with this two can easily give up gambling anytime they wanted.
1779  Economy / Speculation / Re: POLL : ETF approval or disapproval on: February 28, 2017, 11:50:06 PM
I have no idea but I wanted to bet on it being approved.  I do not want to see Bitcoin being dump heavily decreasing its price greatly.  An approval can simply means profit to the investors (all holder investors) and I wanted that to happen not just some investors who shorted their position and wish of ETF diaproval.
1780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: February 28, 2017, 11:27:17 PM
its been played inside yobit so we can't see any good progress right now, its needed for the dev to really come out and made some good progress
so the traders will make some move and support it back, better to hold much more icobid still not reaching the ico price, good luck.

yeah it is better to hold ICOBID than selling it gaining only a few dollar as a profit.  I believe in this ICOB even though I saw dev is hesitant to have an interview.  Developing project first is better than having an interview in my opinion.  Promotion will take place but first development should be prioritized.
