1781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: It's always about your choice on: July 18, 2020, 06:26:33 PM
What makes a bounty manager better? It's not about the success of the projects they introduce, it's about

1. How the handle the campaign
2. It's about fulfilling what was promised to bounty hunters
3. It's about fighting the fair fights for bounty hunters

The success of a bounty project is not in the hand of a bounty manager, the ball is in your courts, you are responsible for the bounty projects you choose, if they fail it's never bounty managers fault. Always remember this.

Okey let me put it this way for more clarification,  the success of a bounty campaign and the success of a project are different, the former depend largely on the bounty manager because when you have an unexperience or lazy bm to handle a campaign, their attitude can ruin that campaign even if the project itself where to be successful, there are some few cases where as a result of the bm misconduct ruin the bounty to some extent,

While on the other hand, the success of the project itself depends largely on the team, this has nothing to do with the bm, only the team are responsible for the outcome of the project, so both need to be successful to have a completely successful campaign.
1782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of USDT in the Crypto Market? on: July 17, 2020, 08:16:05 AM
There are alternatives to usdt like the Busd for instance, fully backed by us dollar and is approved by the "New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS)" in my opinion, I would much rather use a stablecoin with this type of approval and support than the former, after all, they serve the same purpose, because you never know what will come up some day in the future, if they are pumping more usdt in circulation without any control then I believe sooner or later, things will take a different turn, in other to avoid any future harm,  better to stick with the one that is fully approved.

and I just want to stress more on this, nowadays it is all about the money, people don't care who get hurt in the process, for humanity sake and not for anything else, I think it would be better to have a little consideration,
Many innocent people fall victim of this kind of scam is not right, some people have their last penny invested in this type of project for them to get scammed,  however, some people can forgive and move on but some can go at any length to seek justice, we should be careful with what we do.
1784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: People are complaining about airdrop/bounty earnings, something more profitable? on: July 17, 2020, 05:36:48 AM
I am not finding another website with bounty campaigns, I am finding a way how to earn money on the internet. And the website MaxBounty - only contains word bounty, but it is not a bounty, as we know it from this forum, it is an affiliate marketing platform.
Bounty hunters aren't profitable these days, unlike before way back year 2017 which is the crypto market experienced a massive pump the price.
So, to tell you frankly they are all wasting of time. But I have friends still believed that airdrop and joining bounties can make money but there are a lot of tasks to do before you were completed.

But speaking of an affiliate program the is better than bounty hunters and also doing freelancing jobs these days are high demand but if you're passionate about this. Try to read this, https://www.bestchange.com/partner/. It might be help you maybe.

I see some misconception about the way some hunters describe the situation of bounty hunting,  i think the misconception here is some members don't regard themselves as hunters because they promote btc paying campaign, they are all "bounty"

Speaking of bestchange campaign,  i do believe what they have in this forum is called "bounty" (regardless of the reward type, btc or alts payments)    bottom line is they have a good bounty running, hunters are participating and they are paying well, which now means there are still good bounties available but they are few and limited to participants,  so if you are a participant of this bounty, it means you still do bounty and you are a hunter,

'Affiliate programming' are you saying the bestchange campaign is now considered as such or you are referring to something different 🤔
Anyways, in all honesty, yes I do believe 90% of most bounty campaigns (especially from the alts side) are a waste of time, this is as a result of lack of interest from both investors and project team, if you understand the previous occurrence in the crypto space, then you will see the reason behind this current situation,   but that doesn't mean there are no few good ones out there.
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Three phases bounty distribution on: July 16, 2020, 02:45:48 PM
It's a good thing that few bounty managers are now limiting participants for bounties but another problem I'm bounty projects are dumps, one way that bounty managers can help to avoid dump is three phase distribution, many would probably hate this but c'mon we all want good $$$ from projects we promoted right? Controlling dump this way works, what do you think? I've seen bubbalex doing this and even COVIR that plan to use bitforex to raise funds plan to distribute tokens in three phases

I have seen many project owners already implementing this. It's a good way to control the dump caused by bounty distribution but, I think it's not up to bounty managers to decide how they wanna distribute the token because it's usually project owners who send out the payments to participants.

i do agree this methods are recently introduced by project owners in other to control dump in price, but what happen when there is already a dump in price and no bounty reward has been distributed? who is to blame or what method should be applied to fix that!

i do respect the opinion of the project and bm who support this method, but to me i don't see it as best solution to prevent price from falling, if they are truly interested in protecting the price of their tokens, team should start by given less tokens for hunters and have fix participants in their campaign, this way only limited amount of tokens will be in the hands of hunters to sell which won't have any impact on price. Tachyon was a good example.
1786  Other / Off-topic / Re: Twitter hackers are So low IQ. - Many Twitter Account Hacked on: July 16, 2020, 01:51:24 PM
Sounds easy but you do really think of that hackers havent consider such stuff? Of course they do but to arrange all things up then its quite hassle on my part as being a hacker.

I mean, I'm pretty sure their main goal is to steal as much funds as possible; and it's not like the shorting method is that complicated. But ok let's say that the hackers don't even know what shorting is— there's still a lot more less worse methods than the hackers used.

It's just either one of thes:

1. The hackers aren't fluent in English or writing in general
2. The hackers don't know crap about social engineering and they're more of the "technical" hacker
3. The hackers didn't have the time to think of a clever method

whatever the level of their IQ, i think the crypto community should be glad this hackers never thought of the above listed, that would have been detrimental to the market, knowing the way crypto work, any slight bad news can affect price greatly, they fail on their attempt to steal funds that is much better,
i think any clever hacker may already have a plan what to do before hacking, pretty sure this guys don't have any plan what to do when they succeed, it was more like a fun thing to them the way i see it.
1787  Other / Off-topic / Re: How the latest twitter hack might be explained by past history on: July 16, 2020, 12:49:57 PM
Am also speechless, can you imagine the number of high profile people whose twitter account has been compromise withing the same time frame! i sincerely don't want to believe that twitter failed to step up on security, if this is not the case, what then is the problem that hackers are gaining access to high profile account, one or two can be overlooked but more than that is really questionable,
i may not be a high profile person but i don't feel secure using twitter after this incidence, they should really do something about their security or whatever loopholes are there.
1788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bancor BNT- THE CASE OF 80 DOLLARS A COIN on: July 15, 2020, 03:21:47 PM
Bancor BNT is one of a handful of projects from 2017 that have true value...

what do you mean with true value?

It is one of the DEFI altcoins with a 1000x price growth potential. From the fundamental

January 2018:

Bancor had its highest price of $9. It has already been 2 years that the Bancor cannot reach $9. To be more specific since September 2018, Bancor is unable to have a price above $2 and you are talking about a 1000X potential?

Yeah he is clearly living in a dream land if he thinks such growth will happen in this project that have already experience its price growth since last bull run, he must have forgotten there are new Defi project coming up in the market every day which also have the potentials to bring good profit to investors, this are fresh promising project that can make x10-20 when the bull market has come,
If Bancor is as great as the op describe then we would see some price movement.
1789  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ICObench PLATFORM WARNING on: July 15, 2020, 02:40:50 PM
I just check the website and it is opening fine, I guess at that moment the op tried it the website was a temporary down, between this sites are no longer popular and are hardly used by crypto communities any more, since it was stated that most of their reviews are biased and probably influenced, I guess they already lose their value in the eyes of many,
Although it is good to warn members about this but I just wonder what harm can they really cause at this stage! It is not as if there money involved.
1790  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you prefer to buy bitcoin or do bitcoin mining? on: July 15, 2020, 02:18:03 PM
I would much rather buy btc than to mine especially when I don't have the mining equipment, imagine someone with $200 wants to buy btc, it will be much easier to pick up some btc from any good exchange than to go through mining process, just save yourself the trouble and buy,
But if you are a miner, then you may want to mine the $200 worth of btc because you have the equipment and experience, still, buying is a preferred option for me, low stress, low cost.
1791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto mass adoption closing in on: July 15, 2020, 11:01:52 AM
I will be a contrarian here, we appreciate CZ's effort, but it looks like he really taken so much control and power and it is growing by the day. Adoption will come, but we shouldn't be forcing the issue here. We have more leg room here, 5-10 years down the line. I would rather see the market mature instead of third party like Paypal, who by the way, was anti-bitcoin, but suddenly chance their stance because of one reason - the potential profit they can make from us.

Isn't that what we all wanted! All the anti-bitcoin should see reason to be btc lovers, it doesn't matter what is the motive behind changing their mind, the important part is they are gradually coming in, instead of being against btc, they are now supporting btc,
Rather I think you should wish there are more cz in the industry to push things to the right direction, all cz has done was to make crypto easily accessible to all, he may have some shortcomings while doing that but he is working towards it unlike many who just look for opportunity to siphon.
1792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Card Launches in Europe on: July 15, 2020, 10:46:58 AM
People can criticise Binance for all their shortcomings but Binance is doing much more ot these space than any exchange. The way the keep enabling direct fiat entry into the space is almost responsible for the recent pump in Altcoins. Just look at CoinBase contribution to the space to see how far Binance has gone

A healthy criticism is always good for business, it makes them want to fix those shortcomings and do even more better, the important thing is knowing this shortcomings and willing to make necessary adjustments, binance has been an inspiration imo with the way they have managed to raise the bar of exchange, kudos to them for this achievement and their hard work, their innovation is impressive.
1793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: NEW STYLE OF CAMPAIGN on: July 14, 2020, 02:42:55 PM
A lot of people had made complain on the rule for the bounty even in the telegram page, some of the complain led to the change of duration from 12 hours to 4 hour. I feel the 4 hrs difference is very good compare to previous, the campaign have very few signature participant and they seem satisfied. Spam post in this period does not deprive in any form
If only two posts daily, four hours gap is attainable but if three then we have a problem, bounty manager should have no time restriction that long the most important thing is the posters are not spamming and they contributed on various topics.

Exactly, trying to keep a healthy post among participants is necessary but it is equally important not to over stretch it,  maybe this method will prevent spam posters not to find the campaign interesting enough to join, 4 hours in between post is a bit much imo, it will seem the participants will have to come back every 4hrs to make a post.
1794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Telegram bots strategy to scam airdrop participants on: July 14, 2020, 02:31:22 PM
I have never seen where Airdrop have request a deposit of some payments to receive the reward, I think any project requesting this is definitely a scam and should be avoided, normal Airdrop don't request deposit, scammers will always want to deceive people through every possible means necessary.
1795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My eye opening advice about crypto projects on: July 14, 2020, 12:56:19 PM
I think utility should be number one feature to look out for because in the very near future this will be the driving force of projects, any project which have no utility will find it difficult to survive, only demand can bring about a healthy price growth, if this is absent then that project can only survive temporarily.
1796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Just sharing a website where you can report crypto scams on: July 13, 2020, 08:57:41 AM
Hello guys!

A friend of mine just shared this website to me: https://cryptoscamdb.org/report/

It lets you report those websites that are using ponzi and pyramiding schemes, ICO or any crypto-related scams, etc.

I truly believe this would really help us so that newbies and beginners will never fall into these scams.

P.S. If this topic is not appropriate in Altcoin Discussion, feel free to move it to another section. Thank you.

I would love to know what is the action taken when this suspicious projects are reported to this site, do they hold the project owners accountable for any misconduct in the project or they just give the usual warning!
It would have been more satisfying to know the people behind such scam project are being apprehended if possible, this will then reduce the number of scam project we have. Nevertheless, thanks for sharing.
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happened in the bounty program? on: July 13, 2020, 08:35:13 AM
A bounty is regarded as good when it is able to list on exchange to have value for hunters to be able to sell, so if this is the criteria to determine a good bounty, then I think there are quite a few of them that are available which I can say will be trading in an exchange pretty soon, at the end of the day the reward is what matters to hunters most.
All you need to is look closely and carefully you can find a handful of decent bounties to join.
1798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 5 cryptocurrency exchanges where you can stake cryptos & earn rewards on: July 13, 2020, 08:24:35 AM
On the exchange I mentioned above (my signature) you don't have to stake, just by having your asset in the exchange while you trade, you get stake rewards, daily.

The best is to order a visa card, you get cash back every time you do groceries or just buy random things.

I'm also on Binance, but there you have to actively stake. I'm also not really fan of actively staking.

Since am very familiar with binance exchange, it will be my number one pick because of the credibility and high reputation of the exchange, I often see those lending and staking options whenever I login into my account but I have never tried any, I think you can already tell how much profit you can make using one of the staking option, this is indeed another good and secure way of earning passive income.

By signing up with your link on crypto.com then both you and the person get to share $50 is it without investing any amount or the person must invest before this bonus can be given?
Between regarding staking on the exchange, I think I like their method, all you have to do is have the assets on the exchange and start earning, but assuming we choose a lock period can it be unlock whenever you feel the need or the lock period must be reached before it can be access?
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Dogecoin prices crash if TikTok continues to get banned? on: July 12, 2020, 10:00:26 AM
I think the price already correct since after the tiktok video, I always knew the price is just temporary pump with no major updates,  even if tiktok started to get banned in some countries, it may only affect the price for some time and soon things will go back to normal, dogecoin is an old project that keeps fighting to be in the market, they have good dev so I believe the team will keep the project going no matter what. It is part of market for price to go up and down.
1800  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy every dip! on: July 11, 2020, 03:31:17 AM
Buying the dip depends largely on individual, if you have knowledge of the market and how it operates then buying every dip would be very satisfying, but from the point of a newbie who had already bought from the top and has less or limited knowledge of the market won't even consider it, their eagerness would be to sell and leave,
I would rather buy in every major dip than in every dip, although the former comes rarely.
