181  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Time to raise rates again on: November 11, 2015, 03:55:33 PM
They won't raise rates.

The only thing that would motivate them to raise rates is if we stopped posting, a strike.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: what your plan for future ? and how to manage your time ? on: November 10, 2015, 07:08:04 AM
Bitcoin is easier bought than earned.  There aren't many jobs that pay in bitcoin. But all (or most) jobs pay in your local fiat. So if you can manage to save the equivalent of BTC1.66 of your fiat earned from your job each month you can buy the bitcoin.

And maybe you earn some bitcoin directly on the side from selling  things, odd jobs or signature campaign money. But earning money with whatever job you have and using that money to buy bitcoin is going to be your fastest route to having 100 BTC in 5 years.
183  Economy / Economics / Re: what your plan for future ? and how to manage your time ? on: November 10, 2015, 06:25:58 AM
hello Im sure every one have "plan" for future
and please share what do you do to manage your time? to get your dream ?

i have dream to have 100BTC at 5year, but it's very hard to realize it

~Elyas772~

Sounds like a GREAT goal!

But just like your title says, what's your plan? How do you get there? If you plan it out it'll be a lot easier to realize what's possible.

So, 100 BTC in 5 years. That's 20 BTC per year. That's 1.66 BTC per month. Is that something you can do - make/earn/save 1.66 BTC per month? When you break it into a smaller number it becomes more manageable. It may be relatively easy to earn 1.66 BTC per month, perhaps the challenge is saving that much per month and for 60 months in row (5 years).

5 years is a long time to stick to something like this. Maybe you should try to front load your savings so that you get closer to that goal earlier on and have less pressure at the back end.
184  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: November 10, 2015, 06:13:28 AM
A lot of people when they recieve thier salary the first time they do is

Salary-expensive=SAVE or SAVING

What about this formula

Salary-SAVING= expensive
If you use this fomula you can save money.
That's is the problem. People lack the patience to save. They see it as money that can be put towards something that can use now. It is just in human nature. It is called instant gratification.
They want that winter jacket because it is getting cold outside, I won't put it into savings, I will buy that jacket because it is on sale. Do they need it? No. They could just as well us their old one from 5 years running.
But they want new and see it as "saving" on the price if it on sale. So they weight in the pros and cons and usually remove what they were going to put in saving to buy this new jacket. Also people are victims of vanity.

Actually, I don't think it is human nature. Human nature is instinct right? We had the instinct to prepare for the future, store food for the winter, somewhere along the way a lot of us lost that. Perhaps it's our material world? Or maybe it's access to have what we can't afford (i.e., credit)?

Whatever it is, saving is easy...decide how much to save and do that when you get your paycheck. The rest is yours to spend. That's easy. Learn to live without for a while and before you know it'll be the way. You'll feel bad not doing it, seriously.

More pictures available here:

This link for more pictures wasn't working for me.  Also, I noticed that the project thread you reference (on some other forum) has gone stale. The thread was redirected and the Google doc links on the destination page don't return any results.

Looks like a fine racing car, real fast. Good Luck!
186  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Gold 1oz Maple Leaf Under Spot on: November 10, 2015, 05:44:41 AM
Is shipping included?

$20 under spot is something, better than $20 more than spot like most of these places selling. Beautiful coins!
187  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think signature Campaigns will still continue when btc goes $800 ? on: November 10, 2015, 05:03:35 AM
i think they will be continue
last time i remember there are a lot of campaigns when btc was 800 dollar..

I think they just adjust the price of the posts to reflect the price of bitcoin. The casinos and other services need customers.

Yes that is correct, if prices really go very high then pay per post in terms of dollars will be same but they will adjust bitcoin quantity accordingly otherwise it will be loss for them so even though bitcoin prices go more than 2000+ also these signature campaign will be there to get a customers for their services.

When do you think merchants will stop thinking of their gain or loss in terms of fiat?

People here talk about Bitcoin becoming "the world's currency"...that can never happen when everyone is anchoring their value of bitcoin in terms of what they can get for it when the sell it for fiat.

Perhaps we're all a bunch of hypocrites?
188  Other / Meta / Re: If my my 1-2-3 posts are deleting inn every 2-3days in full member account. on: November 10, 2015, 05:00:20 AM
A quick tip for the OP - take your "suspension" peacefully and come back to the forum, once you are allowed, with a more productive approach to your commentary. No one needs to give you access to this forum - if you break the rules, you will be banned...
189  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: People massively fleeing /r/bitcoin to /r/btc on reddit on: November 09, 2015, 10:24:43 PM
Oh...is this Bitcointalk big-wigs banning people from talking shit about the fork?
Actually we are allowing way too much 'trolling' and manipulation in my opinion but it's not up to me.
[/quote]

That's fair, I take it back. I'd actually rather ready the more important debates among those that have been a part of this community since 2009 then reading the same questions written by the newest person to join the Forum this month.  I feel like some of the boards are turning into homes for the new, whereas the real conversations are happening elsewhere - I'm sure reddit is a good place for those real conversations.
190  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Campaings already cutting rates on: November 09, 2015, 10:20:43 PM
It's fair to lower the pay rates but I prefer a fixed payment in terms of USD atleast and not BTC as the price of BTC fluctuates a lot. Currently it's $370 and my campaign pays 0.0007 BTC as of now which is fair but what if the price goes to $300? Also, I don't think the campaigns shouldn't lower the rate as if tomorrow BTC is worth $1000, I get paid 0.001 BTC/post which means I'll get $1/post. It's not affordable unless there is a restriction of 25-50 posts.
With every big price jump or drop it will either will be a lower payment or bigger. I also think it is fair though.
If the campaigns would have 50 max posts, alot of people wouldn't be interested anymore, or they will collect alt account ansd then spam.

Has there ever been an increase in payments? I've never seen one and I've been here for over a year. I've seen payments drop and drop. And  the price over that time has gone fro $600 down to $200 and now up to nearly $400. The payment moves and price moves aren't correlated if you draw them out on a graph.
191  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Pizza for bitcoins? on: November 09, 2015, 10:05:17 PM
I just want to report that I successfully traded 10,000 bitcoins for pizza.

Pictures: http://heliacal.net/~solar/bitcoin/pizza/

Thanks jercos!

I wonder if Jercos still has his/her BTC10,000?

At $3.7M, that would be a tidy little balance in a wallet!
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Satoshi Nakamoto will ever come out from his hood? on: November 09, 2015, 09:51:38 PM
In fact there is a way to moove the coins ,people will see the moove but he can easy send all into some exchange and then, withdraw im small parts,we know what he had said he has the ammount ,but maybe he holds more then those 1 milion coins, the reality is that he cant show up and say hi there im here im rich and i can hit badly the industry, credit western union banks countries ,soo why would he do that to die?

He wouldn't.

If I were him I'd want to withdrawal slowly, be able to live off of what I've created. But that seems nearly impossible for him to do, unless he had another wallet beyond that first Million...which I'm sure he did. If he was involved ("publicly") for two years, he had to have many wallets produced to get divvy up his assets.

Hopefully he's able to enjoy some wealth  from his creation, but at least he gets to anonymity, that's priceless.

Maybe he's a she!
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brazilian exchanges hit all-time volume high in October on: November 09, 2015, 09:38:40 PM
Great for Brazil!

I wonder if there will be a boom in activity and "bitcoin accepted here" signs leading up to the Olympics next summer. Anyone know?
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Satoshi Nakamoto will ever come out from his hood? on: November 09, 2015, 09:36:24 PM
The biggest challenge for him is that most people know the wallet addresses he has with the most coins in them, right? So if he starts to withdrawal from them he people can see it and track it, see where it's going.
195  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is coinbase going to be the next "goxed"? on: November 09, 2015, 09:22:02 PM
Everyday I hear more and more bad things about coinbase

I believe Coinbase is doing quite well. They have filed patents on bitcoin products and expanded their markets to Asia. They are a big company now and will be audited. Difficult for Coinbase to pull a "Gox" nowadays.
They don't force you to buy or sell with them. If you just want to transfer bitcoin to them there is no issue and they don't ask anything from you.

Exactly. It's fair for them to have some rules the protect their business or minimize risk. This is exchange isn't for you to take advantage of. Every complaint I've heard about Coinbase is one that involved someone trying to game the system a bit OR the restriction Coinbase imposed was reasonable and didn't significantly limit the users access to bitcoin or the market.

Why is Coinbase the target of such criticism? DO you think Xapo has less restrictive policies? If so, perhaps you should take your business there - vote with your wallet, literally!
196  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase withdraw stuck at pending on: November 09, 2015, 09:17:15 PM
Funds finally received  Grin

How long did it take and did they give you a reason why the transaction was pending so long?

Did your exchange rate stay consistent from sell to funding?
197  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Did I Just Lose $25,000 on: November 09, 2015, 09:15:49 PM
WOW, what a scare! Did they do anything to prevent this from happening to you in the future? Multiple email addresses for security access, etc?

$25.000 is a serious amount of coin. Glad you got it sorted!
198  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: People massively fleeing /r/bitcoin to /r/btc on reddit on: November 09, 2015, 09:13:50 PM
Censorship on /r/bitcoin has attained new heights and posts are being automoded frequently.
It's good to finally see people massively fleeing the censorship over there.
Which one would you prefer? /r/bitcoin or /r/btc ?

Based on your post it doesn't sound like anyone is fleeing reddit - you say they're fleeing one reddit board to go to another reddit board.

What kind of censorship is being enforced on the r/bitcoin board? Seriously, what could the be censoring?

Oh...is this Bitcointalk big-wigs banning people from talking shit about the fork?
199  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: newbie here on: November 09, 2015, 09:09:59 PM
What account did you open and for what? Was it the account on Bitcointalk? Was it a wallet account? I think we need some more information to help you properly.

But, welcome to the Forum and good luck with any sig campaign you join!
200  Other / Archival / Re: Anyone get an ad? on: November 09, 2015, 09:08:26 PM
This was your email address or home address?

Email address - I wouldn't be as worried. Cookies can tell what sites you've been to and that information can be obtained by online marketers (one or several of which could be this shady company.) So it's not like someone's spying on you in a way that we can't all be spied on.

Now if it's your physical address, I'd be a bit more worried.
