There is no such court.  You sure have a strong imagination.

And you have none. We are all the court of bitcoiners. And when the ponzi falls apart, we'll all look back at the people in the top tier that supported it and pass judgement.

Having met Pirate != Knowing how he runs his business

That might be in a court of law, but not so much in the court of Bitcoiners.

Just out of curiosity... how was defcon ? Anyone know when the presentations usually make it online ?

All video presentations, including mine, should be available around december. Some talk about my experience on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=96434.0

Its strange how you missed inviting who I consider the one person in the bitcoin community doing more for mass adoption than all of you combined..

Im in awe of Tuxavants dedication to Bitcoin..  and I applaud him...

Um. Thanks for the vote of confidence, but that is a huge statement that I would like to distance myself from. I proselytize my ass off, but there are plenty more of 'you' that contribute much more tangible efforts to the community (edit) and deserving of that statement.

We actually met up with Tuxavant, Coingenuity and Patrick from Intersango on Sunday afternoon at the MGM Grand poker room.

Sorry we missed you sethsethseth.

Wat? Oh no you di'nt! I was at Defcon all day with my talk and challenge. Now lets hear how you confused my name with someone else. This will be ripe.

I'd just like to say I'm calling bullshit on the pirate photo. Here's the list of people I met during Defcon, and none of them are in that picture. I find it hard to believe that none of the people I met can identify anyone in those photos from our offline discussions - or I haven't see a post from them confirming it. If you're on this list below and spoke with anyone at defcon in that picture, speak up and correct me.

  • SethSethSeth
  • AndrewBitcoiner
  • Teflon
  • eCrash (teflon's friend)
  • Mike Caldwell
  • BitBlitz ?
  • Alexmat
  • Elliot (asian guy from LA)
  • The anti-forensics speaker dude

Thanks for the support guys! This really was an awesome experience! I'm very proud of my kid PWNING a lot of the other events and challenges. They had to create a new award category just for her this year: Most Valuable Hacker. Proud dad is proud.

We had about 30 people in our Generation Bitcoin talk and there was over 100 kids in attendance for the whole Defcon Kids event.

BTW, I think the thing that flipped my lid the most was the number of girl hackers there were. The ratio was 3:1 girls to boys at my crypto challenge.

Kryptina and I are presenting "Generation Bitcoin" topic at Defcon Kids TODAY (sunday) at 11am and doing a crypto workshop at 2pm PST.

We will be talking about a GenerationBitcoin.com, which redirects to a facebook page for young adults to discuss Bitcoin topics. We will be discussing our experience with Bitcoin and giving a general overview of how Bitcoin works.

In the workshop, I will be presenting the kids with 4 crypto puzzles that will make them use different encoding methods to gain access to some private keys. Here's where you come in and will make a great talking point for the presentation. You have the opportunity to contribute to the reward for solving these problems.

#1 Basic key import, freebee giveaway to the quickest, teaching basic usage : http://blockchain.info/address/12SFHpZhGEZqabJ8nQTgb6y8p6pTt6dcJQ

I just heard about this last night at the shoot, but it sounds amazing. A little farther off the strip, but may be worth it..

Bitcoiner challenge?

My kid likes to spend a lot of time in lockpick village - it's just a matter of coordinating all the events and free time. I'll tweet my locations and updates under @Tuxavant for those interested.

I need to know specific sized to have rush made for the event... without sizes, I can't have them ready for you. It's ok if you dont end up buying it (for any reason) because I'll be able to sell it on bitmit... but I need to know how many to make, in specific sizes/qty and how many to bring with with me to the event.

I hope to have these tshirts available saturday morning, if not sooner. I am accepting pre-orders so that I can have a small number ready for the event. There is a bit of a surprise announcement regarding this brand coming soon. Please only preorder if you're attending defcon and plan to meet me in person to pick it up. You can order as many as you like, I just need to know numbers to have them ready. And if it falls through and they are not available by defcon, you're not obligated to pay for it unless you want to cover shipping. These will be made available on bitmit soon enough.

This will be printed on a black gildan ultra cotton t, using the same process as my high quality "Ask me about bitcoin" tshirts. The yellow part of the logo is a gold shimmer. Im expecting the cost to be $15 (in bitcoin of course).

One of the cool things I'm finding about Bitcoin is how it breaks down nationalism. I want to trade Bitcoin with EVERYONE!
