Before the first leg of the first leg of the two ties in the semi final of the competition were played, my prediction was that Real Madrid ahd and Paris Saint Germaine are the two clubs that are gonna reach the final of the competition and even till this very moment, I still have same conviction that the two clubs will progress ahead of their opponents.
Paris Saint Germaine manager Luis Enrique having won the competition before now understands everything about the UEFA Champions League so I expect him to come up with a formation that'll guarantee them a win against the German club when they host Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night

Just like you said, there's every possiblity that the winner of this season's Spanish La Liga title can be decided this weekend and there's also a possibility that we might just have to wait till next weekend to have a new winner emerge. Real Madrid host Cadiz tomorrow at the Santiago Bernabeu and a win for Carlo Ancelotti's men will make the them become the winners of the league if Barcelona is defeated at Girona that same tomorrow.

Xabi Alonso's men continued their unbelievable and incredible performance last night as they extended their unbeaten run to 47 in all competitions this season. Playing away at AS Roma, I was thinking that the best they could get was leaving the Stadio Olympico with a draw and my opinion was borne out of how improved the Roma team have been under the tutelage of their current manager Daniele De Rossi who took over the club's managerial position after Jose Mourinho was sacked earlier this season but that wasn't the case. Bayer Leverkusen were able to a 2:0 win against Roma away from home so in my opinion, that tie have already been decided.
The other UEFA Europa League semi final game between Marseille and Atalanta, I think the tie is still very much open because none of the two sides were able to get a win in the first leg. However, Atalanta has a better advantage of advancing to the final of the competition because they'll be playing the second leg at home

Yesterday, I read a report that Bayern Munich contacted former RB Leipzig manager Ralf Ragnick to take over their managerial position when the club's current manager Thomas Tuchel leaves at the end of the season but just like the two previous managers they contacted for the Bayern Munich job, Ralf Ragnick declined the offer. Earlier this season the club have contacted managers like Xabi Alonso and Julian Nagelsmann but both of them turned down the offer citing different reasons for their refusal. Bayern Munich as we all know is one of the biggest clubs in Europe and their history as a club backs that claim. Also the quality of players olat the club is strong enough to attract big managers to the club since they know that they won't have to struggle much to get get good results with the team but yet, three top managers have rejected the Bayern Munich job already. I think there's something about the current management of the club that's scaring these managers away from accepting to coach the club

Chelsea players delivered just another great performance to make sure they grabbed all three points in their game against Tottenham Hotspur last night. Chelsea in my own perspective is a club that's got the needed quality of players to put up a strong fight for as many trophies as possible but because of the inconsistency of the team, they've not been able do that. When they faced Tottenham Hotspur in their first league fixture of the season, the North London club finished the game with 9 men which made many believe it was the reason Mauricio Pochentino's men were able to leave Tottenham Hotspur home ground with a win but in that game yesterday, the both team finish with complete 11 players but it still didn't stop Chelsea to win the game without conceding a goal. If Mauricio Pochentino can do well to make the team remain consistent with the kind of performance we saw last night, Chelsea might just be considered a strong English Premier League club once again

Before the game, I predicted that Paris Saint Germaine were going to leave the Signal Iduna Park with a win or at least a draw but the home team didn't allow that to happen rather they went all out in their full strength just to make sure they got the important win. With that win last night, Borussia Dortmund have now taken a slim lead against their opponents going in to the second leg which I think will serve as a morale booster to help them be at their best when they travel to France for the second leg of the game.
The result of that game was a very welcome to development to not just the yellow fans of Borussia Dortmund but to Germany football in general because we're going to have 5 German teams in the UEFA Champions League next season by the virtue of that all important win. It was indeed a very good result for German football in general

Borussia Dortmund did play their first leg game in the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League at home against Paris Saint Germaine yesterday so it's understandable that they were able to get all three points from the game but in my own opinion, I think Paris Saint Germaine have all it takes to deliver a better performance than what we saw in that game but were obviously limited by the club manager's tactical approach to the game and here is my reason for saying such... Kylian Mbappe without doubt plays in the no.9 role perfectly but in games like the last night game, he delivers better from the left flank of attack which was were Bradley Barcola was operating from. Kolo Muani was on the bench when he could've been played in the center forward striker position while Mbappe plays from the wing so he can get the chance to take on the Borussia Dortmund defenders. The second leg will be played next week at the Parc des Princes and I hope he's learnt his lessons from the result of the first leg

The first leg of the UEFA Europa League semi final tie between German champions Bayer Leverkusen and Italian club Roma will be played on Thursday at the Stadio Olympico and because of how impressive Bayer Leverkusen have been this season, many are of the opinion that it'll be very difficult to beat them. In the last 45 games that Bayer Leverkusen have played in all competitions, they've never conceded a defeat so it's absolutely understandable why majority of the people are backing them to beat AS Roma even when Leverkusen are playing away.
Xabi Alonso is one manager that's earned the respect of so many people because of how he's improved the team and now that his team have secured the league title and qualified to play in the final of the DFB-POKAL, adding the Europa League trophy will not be a bad idea so I expect them to go all out in that game

The game that Bayer Leverkusen scored in the 95th minute to get a draw happened over the weekend in their German Bundesliga game against Stuttgart which is why I'm a bit surprised to see that you're even talking about it now but since there are no many issues to talk in the German Bundesliga, I think I understand your reason of bringing up the result of the game. Xabi Alonso have have instilled the spirit of resilience in the Bayern Munich and that's why they aren't giving up even on games they're losing going into the final minutes. I was thinking they'll suffer their first league defeat of the season in that game after they failed to find an equalizer going onto the additional time but because they believed in themselves as a team, they still were able to avoid defeat in that game.

In the last six years, Manchester City have successfully won the English Premier League title in five different occasions and in most of the times they've won them, fighting till the last day of the league have been the only way to win so it's not new to them to battle for the league title till the last match day of the season. Pep Guardiola won the treble last season which included the UEFA Champions League title but this season, the were eliminated from the UCL in the quarter final stage by Real Madrid leaving them with the option of fighting for league title in order to be sure of a major trophy this season. Winning their last four league games will definitely be difficult for them as a club but I still expect them to win the title ahead of Arsenal.

Arsenal's last three games in the English Premier League campaign this season are a home game against Bournemouth, an away game at Manchester United before hosting Everton for their last game of the season and because of the quality of players at Manchester United and the fact that Arsenal will play that game at Old Trafford, many people are suggesting that the Gunners are very likely to drop points in that particular game. Manchester United in the other hand haven't been consistent with their results this season but that doesn't mean that they aren't a big threat to the current league leaders especially when playing at home so just like many, I expect that game to be a very tough one for Arsenal.
However, I'm also of the opinion that Arsenal have all it takes to win their remaining fixtures in the English Premier League this season including the one against Manchester United.

The draw that Paris Saint Germaine were able to get in their game against Le Havre on Saturday was enough for them to be crowned champions of France but what really caught my attention was how the game was played out. The away team took the lead in the 19th minute of the game but Paris Saint Germaine equalized 10 minutes later but just before the half time mark, Le Havre took the lead again before adding their third goal in the second half. Paris Saint Germaine had to fight from two goals down to equalize in the dying minutes of the game. Such result o don't think is good for a club like Paris Saint Germaine who will play a big game in the UEFA Champions League tomorrow.
Luis Enrique is one manager that I know understands how the UCL works having won it with Barcelona in 2015 so I expect him to have a deep conversation with his men before the game tomorrow at Borussia Dortmund. Because of my love for Kylian Mbappe, I'll want to see Paris Saint Germaine win that particular tie

I watched the first half of the King Cup of Champions between Al Ittihad vs Al Hilal before switching to watch go watch the UEFA Champions League but after the first half of the UCL, I had to revisit the game between the two Saudi clubs but to my surprise, Al Hilal were still able to get a win in their game against Al Ittihad even when they played the second half of the game with just 10 men. After Sergej Milinković-Savić was shown the red card in the 42nd minute of the game, I thought it'll give the home team the needed advantage to win the game but instead of winning, Al Hilal were able to score a late goal to claim the win and qualify to play in the final of the competition.

I watched the Bayern Munich game tonight against Real Madrid and as a Real Madrid supporter who has been following the development at the club since the start of the season, I was never in doubt that Real Madrid aren't gonna leave Allianz Arena with a defeat even when Bayern Munich overturned the scoreline. Bayern Munich have lost in every other competition except the UEFA Champions League competition so it's expected that they will put in their best to make sure they reach the final of the competition and possibly win it at the end of the season but I don't think Real Madrid is going to allow that happen.
The second leg of the game is going to take place at the Santiago Bernabeu which is a playground that Real Madrid aren't known for losing games in the UEFA Champions League. I expect Real Madrid to progress to the final ahead of Real Madrid

Like you rightly stated, Real Madrid will face Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League semi final and tomorrow, the Spanish La Liga leaders will travel to Germany for the first leg of that all important encounter and as a Real Madrid fan that's watched them play numerous games this season as well seen Bayern Munich's performance this season both in their domestic league and in Europe, I'm very optimistic that Real Madrid will win the tie but for them to achieve that aim, they mustn't for any reason underestimate the strength of their opponents. Carlo Ancelotti with his deep experience managing teams in the UEFA Champions League already knows how bad it is and the consequences that comes with underrating an opponent especially at this stage of the competition so I don't think he'll want to thread that path with his men.
Bayern Munich on the other side has lost out in any other competition they've played this season except the UCL so I expect them to put everything in the line to make sure to progress to the final and possibly win the European title as a make up for their poor performances in the other competitions they played in this season. The tie is unarguably the strongest tie at this stage of the competition when we consider the history of the four teams remaining in the competition so I don't expect it to come easy for any of the teams but at the end, I still expect Real Madrid to reach the final at the expense of Bayern Munich
