Uploaded NeoScrypt CUDAminer v1.0.1. It supports Kepler (GK110) in addition to Maxwells and Pascals. The original Titan, Titan Black, Titan Z, GTX 780 Ti and GTX 780. Keplers were never energy efficient, so the hash rate is about 400KH/s for 200W TDP. Well, it works at least.

Any chance of a wallet update please? if we can add a few api calls ORB can be added to BarterDex Cheesy

What API calls should be added?

It might be an idea to jump into https://komodo-platform.slack.com #tradebots I'm asking but guess nobody who knows is awake yet. Smiley

I don't do development on chat talks generally. If they want specific API calls, I'd like to see this somewhere in their platform's documentation.

Hello
Do you have a crypto currency Orbitcoin developing or forgotten about it?

The coin works. Installed a couple of seed nodes recently. Further development depends on other things to be completed first.

https://twitter.com/halcoin is alive? I see no more updates here for 2 years.

That's because there have been no new releases to date as I'm working on a new code base. NeoScrypt related updates are posted to Phoenixcoin Twitter.

Hi guys!

We have just added support for Orbitcoin to our Crypto Mining Profitability Calculator: https://crypt0.zone/calculator/!

Feel free to send us some feedback.
We are open for all suggestions

Cool

I see it refers to tpruvot's CCminer on NeoScrypt. It isn't the fastest on many NVIDIA cards, but anyway. Why does it suggest the same on AMD?

Thanks for suggestions.  Yes, we know about AMD cards issue, we will correct it within few days.
By the way what is the fastest NeoScrypt miner for nvidia right now?

I'm inclined to think that my CUDAminer (https://github.com/ghostlander/cudaminer-neoscrypt) unless you consider proprietary miners which may be faster on some hardware.

There is a 2% block finder's bonus. It is an additional incentive for miners to play fair and submit all valid shares including those solving blocks. Transaction fees are also shared among miners. P2Pool supports vardiff, so the initial difficulty may seem low, but it gets adjusted quickly by the node to maintain the optimal rate of shares submitted.

I have just brought back in business my oldest P2Pool node located in the Netherlands for European miners.

prometheus.phoenixcoin.org

There will be more seed nodes added in the coming days.

Why would anyone want to catch another scam ICO token?

Don't jump to any prejudicial conclusions so quickly Smiley We welcome you and other members of your community to inform yourself about our project and conclude that it's no scam. We'd like to answer any of your questions, if any should arise.

I couldn't care less about your project if it used a different name. I've educated hell knows how many people on Facebook mistaking PXC for PHX. When the time comes and your token goes down the drain, I don't want to see your unfortunate investors coming here for revenge.

I have 39 connections  Cool

For some reason the maxconnections config option doesn't work. ghostlander...known?

I have 75 connections right now. 120 connections on the largest seed node.

What makes you think the maxconnections option doesn't work? The number of outbound connections is limited to 16, so maxconnections - 16 is the limit for inbound connections.

I have maxconnections=12

My connections should be no more than 28 then if I understand you correctly (16 out + 12 in).

maxconnections is a sum of inbound and outbound connections. Setting them to 12 isn't a good idea probably.

And that's what I thought originally. So back to my original statement. The maxconnections config option doesn't work and apparently it is not know with you (ghostlander). Should I file a bug ticket or do we not care?

It works for numbers like 50. There are more important things to take care of. I'll add it to my to do list though.

@ghostlander

I found info here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=330956.msg8436416#msg8436416 about solo mining.  Is this all still accurate?

Thanks!

It's a valid guide.

have discord?

We have Slack. No one talks there. I don't think it will be much different with Discord.

when the mobile wallet will come out when the stock market enters?

The Android wallet comes out when I decrease memory usage. Most people cannot afford an app consuming over 1Gb of memory on their phones. Yes, it has to be a fully featured wallet. No, I'm not going to do a SPV wallet.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: NSGminer v0.9.4: The Fastest NeoScrypt GPU Miner on: March 14, 2018, 11:28:11 PM
Let me make it straight.

His miner is fast indeed, but it's proprietary Windows only with a dev fee. Considering size of the NeoScrypt mining market, it could make him a few bitcents daily. On the other hand, NSGminer is open source and therefore funded entirely by user donations. There haven't been any for the last year despite a dramatic increase in mining profitability. You can check yourself with the donation addresses in the OP. I could assume the people don't care about mining performance, but this thread's activity suggests the opposite. If all those miners don't bother themselves to donate anything, why should I bother myself to write faster kernels to please them?

If I don't get 0.15 BTC in donations to cover the cost of a single decent Vega 64 card for development purposes, I'll be greatly discouraged to upgrade the performance of NSGminer to match Claymore's one.

Some people like to complain about greedy developers if they use devfee, but same people don't want to donate even single day of mining for all efforts that were put into mining software. I donated 0.15BTC, it's devfee from my NeoScrypt miner for about two weeks.

That's very generous, thank you. There is nothing wrong with the dev fee as long as the software is all your work, in fact, a lot of your work. Those who violate the GPL by selling private miners based on open source code don't play fair.

BTW, be ready to spend a lot of time if you want to speed up your miner on AMD, I spent more time than I expected...

I realise that clearly. I've spent much more time than I've expected on my CUDAminer while the gains aren't very impressive compared to other CUDA miners, but I've identified a couple of bottlenecks in my OpenCL code at least. I haven't tested your miner myself because my mining rigs are Linux only except of the oldest one still running Windows XP 64-bit which doesn't support any AMD GCN GPUs obviously.

I just playing with miners for Neo. This works but it seems I get a better hash with Claymore. But to be fair I will continue to tweak this and see.  Smiley

I've obtained about 70 ORB so far with the hopes of POS mining.  Haven't had much luck thus far, my wallet is unlocked for staking and has been for several months at this point.  If I mouse over the lower right hand corner, I see staking enabled for 11 inputs weighing 896 coin days. Inputs 0 min age, 1 avg age and 10 max age.  The wallet doesn't show anything in the stake, unconfirmed or immature section in the upper left hand corner.  Do I need to specify anything in the conf file to POS mine?  I've looked around but haven't found anyone in a similar situation.  Any guidance would be appreciated.

Regards,

Brian

You could have a better luck by merging those 11 inputs into a single one, though it should work out either way eventually. Not much weight these days, so it's complicated to predict when they produce a stake.
