Hey guys! I have switched over to a different host. There may or may not be issues. Thanks!

Maybe a compromise would be newbies are prohibited from making new threads outside beginners, but can reply to existing threads.
+1. (If we are voting on it)

Hi FUR11 and nathnam, Sorry for the inconvenience, someone did an attack to EveryDice, we're currently investigating this issue. Bankroll is safe however . This is second attack, few days ago we also received DDoS. Yay! I was right!

Not sure how notable this is, but here's what I just noticed:
Someone was on betting ~.3/roll for a little bit. That screen name stopped and then a different screen name came on and started max betting for a bunch of rolls.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand now the site appears to be down.
Maybe it went bankrupt? I wasn't paying that much attention but it looked like the bankroll had only taken a 2-3 coin hit. Oh... Whats the max bet? 1% of BR, so around .5-.55. Ah... Maybe a massive DDOS. Now, I don't know very much about the politics surrounding these kinds of sites, but do you think that's realistic? A dice site that isn't even in the top 5 as far as traffic (I'm guessing) gets hit with a random DDOS while they have record amounts bet? Well a site that isnt in the top 5 usually doesnt have good server, so its likely. Maybe thats not it, maybe it is. Let just wait to hear from the OP.

I love the lucky meter design too, however, I think you'd better remove the register requirement, major dice sites(JD, Primedice) don't require register at all.
Hi thecoinjournal, thank you for your feedback, we will note this in our roadmap I second this.

Copyright . Well... Suing would be an issue since running a gambling site is illegal in a lot of countries...

That's why we have Report to moderator button. If you think a post is spam, report it. People rarely report posts, that's main problem.
So this button can be used on a daily basis? I never use it unless it is offensive and spam... That is exactly what that button is for , you hit it when you feel some post is offensive or spam, i don't know if you were trying to be sarcastic ..! I said if it was offensive AND spam...

Another good day for me, 0.3 profit on an initial 0.1 deposited. Makes up the loss the other day. Still think I'm about 1-1.5 up overall?
Would be nice to have my overall profit and daily profit shown on the site as well.
Phil
Hi Filharvey, in total you already made profits 1,51 BTC with few deposit. This of course will be harder when you play on site with higher house edge Yes Phil, we already put this in our development roadmap. You will be able see your stat in near future Hi Phil, Overall profit is already shown in the stats tab, hope you like it . And because we saw many lucky players here, we also create... the luck meter I've just doubled my friend's balance on every dice, it's quite easy Thank you very much, I'll give you 10% of the profit as commision:) Whoa really 10%, that's the easiest job in the world The luck meter is beautiful!

The abuse is going to come from any membership level regardless of what you set it at. There are people childish enough on this forum to abuse such a function to have a post of another person they despise enough being hidden. This is more so for the people who are rather stubborn on their views and radical (there are quite a few of these people around) which would see these peoples opinions be hidden. As much as I dislike some of the crap that these people post it isn't spam.
That is one big downside to the issue though... I will try to come up with more ways...

I have a simple suggestion for the forum to help stop spamming as mentioned in this topic. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=484259My idea is to simply have a button next to the "Report to Moderator" that says "Mark as Spam". If more than 5 Sr.Member or higher click that button, the posts "hides". People have the option of viewing the post, but that post does not count towards the users post count. I hope this makes sense. Feel free to add or propose your own ideas! Must say you have a very good suggestion ..! I read so many suggestions about minimizing spam , and have to say this is one of the best I read till now..! If i have to add any suggestion i'll say if someone get caught spamming they must get a Warning too and one someone get 5or10 warnings they are banned..! Personally I think banning should be done by humans. The forum should not auto ban users. Maybe after 5-10 spam posts, they get reported to the mods, but not automatically banned.

I really don't know a lot about these boards, but is it even something that can be implemented? I'm not a fan of the new sig rules to try to curb spam as it hurts people like me who try to make constructive posts without spamming. I think there should also be a penalty added to this system as well. After so many "hides" the person receives a warning, suspension, etc. However it works around here when it comes to penalties. The only concern I see is that it could be abused. Obviously if it's SR. members and higher the chance would be a lot less for abuse, but its still a possibility. It's a step in the right direction I think, and far better than the current solution. If it does get abused, it could be changed to only hero members...

I have thought up of a solution (still need to work on it a little), but I'll mak a seperate thread for it.
Sounds great. Post a link to the new thread here please. Thank you. Here you go. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=503278
