1822  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC Go for Another All Time High This Year? on: August 25, 2021, 04:00:58 PM
From the current price movement bitcoin keeps showing,it looks like we might be headed for a new all time high but only if price can stay above the $50k area otherwise it will keep fluctuating in the range of $49k and $45k as some sort of consolidation but once we break from the upside we should see price become bullish but with a slight pull back and up up and away it will go, and of course this is not a one way street if it breaks from the bottom that will be bad news as this as the potential of going lower to lows such as $40k but this isn't what any of us want  Tongue

For the past 18 hours low is below 47k so right now is holding well above it. I think we should not be too worried. Every Wednesday this happened already week after week and then Friday comes and everything is starting up again so enjoy this small dip,,, Friday and Monday following are going to be strong 51k gains Wink

I still cant believe how professional and awesome the interview format is, all of it.  Just great.

Hey guys wow, just exploring all the stuff in projects/tokens board as usual and I have to saw your videos are,,, pretty cool;)

Still quality suffers a little bit and maybe the avatars are still a bit too limited but it is really a new type of format I have not seen before.

Can I ask how we can do the same thing? Is this capability open to public on Neos? I would like to try this:)
1824  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we in 2017 again? How do you feel about the price chart today? on: August 25, 2021, 01:52:05 PM
Man, I really wish we go on a winter, I have to buy more bitcoin because I feel like I don't have enough yet, my goal is to at the least reach 0.1 bitcoin this year but it seems that the current price rally, it's going to be impossible this year.

Same here to be honest I would be perfectly happy for a long winter because I know I cannot achieve my personal target of Bitcoin holding (in actual BTC).

Of course I am not saying I mind another 1, 2 or 3 more ATH seasons this year before the winter comes in 2022 or 2023. Maybe a bigger ATH will result in a bigger winter crash;)
1825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 25, 2021, 01:18:41 PM
One of the incredible matches this week is Liverpool v Chelsea.

Agreed, Lukaku vs Van Dijk will be an amazing battle to watch. I think that Van Dijk is physically strong enough to stop him both in air and on the ground and overall I still feel Liverpool is a better team when they have their strongest team at their disposal.

I would have been a lot more scared of Chelsea if they brought Haaland, Lukaku is a beast but players like Werner and Havertz would have a better chemistry and offensive flow with a player who's a bit more technical than Lukaku. Him and Werner combining - that will be a major issue for Chelsea.

I read that Virgil has not had the best games since coming back in the early EPL 2 games so he will probably be quite nervous to make sure he impresses. It is always so hard to come back from an injury so bad it puts you out for an entire season + the EURO so I hope he is back to his best. So we can see Lukaku and Virgil show us what giants in offence and defence look!

I think this can be a 3-3 draw  Cool
1826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Capitalism, Democracy and Decentralisation on: August 25, 2021, 01:00:42 PM
Is the idea of money-printing by centralized authority bad? When does it make sense to have a centralized leadership and when doesn't it? And more importantly, if the world was on a bitcoin standard when the pandemic started, what could have been done better? These are some of the questions I want to discuss.

Not always so,,,  in fact if you look at most of the world right now, they are not ready for decentralized money. And this is not through their own faults. Education, development, poverty, all are problems to overcome, and having a state take care of their money for them makes a lot of sense for most people.

As you point out simply having Bitcoin standard does not solve problems. What if people needed money and you cannot print cash? You cannot print Bitcoin either, so people will just make "Bitcoin IOUs".
1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- now at: 21/22 Playoffs on: August 25, 2021, 11:43:20 AM
It's good to see the result of the second leg match between PSV - Benfica match the prediction with a draw and in fact, Benfica played with only 10 men from the 32' minute. Here it is proven that Benfica has a strong and good defense as I predicted before, but I don't understand how a team as strong as PSV can't even score 1 goal against 10 players even playing at home. With this result, PSV still cannot break Benfica's dominance in the European and champions leagues. It's a shame indeed, considering this is the right moment but PSV still can't make the most of this moment so there is still no change to their head to heat record, Benfica still dominates.

It happens,,, off days to everyone. According to Sportsbet, the last 5 games between these two teams met with 4 goals minimum, and now game number 6 did not even give a goal. 0-0 must have been at least 10x for that!

Benfica are a big mirror of the nation Portugal,,, they know how to play knockout tournaments very well  Cheesy
1828  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: August 25, 2021, 11:08:42 AM
Some may consider Accrington's elimination and Cardiff not being able to score at least one goal against Brighton to be semi-surprises, but the 1/32 round has thus far been devoid of major upsets. Palace failed to score for third match in a row, and their next three opponents in PL are West Ham, Tottenham, and Liverpool... a difficult first month of the season for Patrick Vieira's men, for sure.

Well done for collecting all of those wins. I hate betting on cup games to be honest because,,, I never know which team they will play especially from Premier League teams that never really play their full squad. Crystal Palace have the worst start in a long time I think but they just need to get Benteke and Wilfried to start scoring again. I think they can beat West Ham and will try to go for draws against Spurs and Liverpool.
1829  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price last until the end of the year? on: August 25, 2021, 09:56:08 AM
I'm bullish on how far we can hit this year, we have a 35 day correction from 29k (20.7) and now $50k has been broken, now will be a accompanied correction ”  conditions” are important to prolong this cycle.  and I guess we can end the year at 73k6 or at least it's a historically new ATH.

You and majority of people on this forum are bullish in that direction for sure. 50k broken once already so we should expect a few more tests,,, but if we do not see any more attempts in this week then I think we have to adjust for temporary bearishness.

Correction or completion we have yet to see  Cry
1830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 25, 2021, 09:11:00 AM
Damn, I am bottom of the pool, never started this badly before. I guess I'll need some time to figure out current form of Serie A teams. Went for couple of surprises but all the wrong ones.

Some rumours flying around about Ronaldo wanting to leave Juve. Don't think it is very likely since nobody has the money for him now that PSG signed Messi.

Inter bought Belotti for 15M, sounds like great deal for them considering amounts other clubs pay for players these days.

Yes,,, all of the favorites won in this first round, which is also a bit strange I think for opening season matches but I do not really follow Italian league so I do not know how history works.

I bet you Manchester clubs both want Ronaldo if the price is right. Old guys usually go to United and not City though  Grin
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: August 25, 2021, 07:46:50 AM
Europa favorites Sevilla would bring you loads and loads of money though!
Sevilla are favorites due to the history they have in the competition over the last few years. But this year, I believe it will be more difficult for them to win the competition, as they have many clubs around and they will certainly want to have a good season in the competition.

I think it soo. There are many good teams this time. Sevilla is a team strong enough and stable. Their performance is stable enough. But there are some more stable teams as their opponents, winning the title will not be easy. However, if you bet on Sevilla, you can stay in the safe zone.

Ever since United entered the competition and even Inter,,, Sevilla has had trouble all around them but still managed to win many times, so they are very used to the situation. Even managed to dump out big names on the way so they will look forward. No Inter and United this season though;)
1832  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance withdrawals limits {0.05 BTC accounts} on: August 25, 2021, 07:04:44 AM
No offence Rrita,,, I never heard of Nominex but if they are member of Binance broker that is a good thing. I will make note of all of this.
I forget to mention about Phemex exchange. Phemex offers spot trading, Contract trading, Simulated trading and Volume(24h) $3,154,886,038 (65,095 BTC).

Thanks again and yes the information is useful,,, except I have a hard time trusting new exchanges (or old ones I never heard of). It is already hard enough to trust CEXs especially but at least the Nominex you mentioned was a Binance broker, but what about Phemex? I guess now I am really surprised not to know the withdrawals were of such high limits.
1833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Future vs Spot Trading on: August 25, 2021, 05:56:54 AM
Definitely a gamble. I wanted to try it myself since I have tried Forex for almost a year back when I have yet not discovered BTC. Those who can predict which way the market goes can try Futures in the longer time frame. It might not be too difficult when there is a bull run.

The spot market is a lot safer because even when the price drops,  you can just hold your coins, nothing is lost.

Spot trading is a gamble too,,, at least if I see the way people do it. And I know yes, the argument that 1 btc is always 1 btc, but the same as forex or stock market (the currency or stock you hold is always the same amount) but the gambling part is, which side of the market you want to hold?

But I agree. Futures and derivatives are even more of a gambling element,,, really attracts bets. And essentially this is what this is, betting.
1834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulators are on next level desperate on Bitcoin and the cryptospace on: August 25, 2021, 05:41:07 AM
Certain countries, due to lax policies e.g. Cyprus, Vietnam will never make proper regulations so all these services mentioned in the OP (including the scams) simply moved there.

The thing also in some other countries, the laws will be so tight and yet corruption and poor enforcement will be so that it will continue to go on but as a sort of black market.

Look at India where gambling is illegal in general and yet,,, almost every Indian with a smartphone and money is gambling.

Same as crypto ban, no a single one crypto user stopped using crypto, except for the big registered businesses!

1836  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How does one start on crypto? on: August 24, 2021, 03:20:36 PM
And that $500 you've invested wrongly did yourself gained with experience and that can be said as another investment.

Because you've learned from that mistake and experience and now you're raking the idea of what lesson you've learned from that mistake and it is also because of you, you didn't give up that easy.

My personal amount was much smaller as an investment but it was big enough for me to learn my lesson and gain the experience. And then a year after that, I also spent even more into ICOs,,, yet another lesson was created.

So yes, these are not pure losses if you gain experience and learning. I always see it like this too and appreciate that Smiley
1837  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Price Prediction on: August 24, 2021, 02:08:19 PM
If we get to have the same price cycles as the previous bull markets at the end of the year, $100k is very conservative. Even Raoul Pal is predicting $200k EoY if my memory serves me right lol. But then again, it's a huge 'if'.

But I think if we are also honest,,, we also realize it is very obvious that the price gains in every cycles becomes less and less (looking at percentage from old ATH to new ATH). And the last one it was only about 15x if I recall so 20k to 100k is "only" 5x. But that kind of makes sense,,, though even 200k means 10x which is still a reduction in ATH to ATH.
1838  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance TA - Switch to BTC soon? on: August 24, 2021, 01:00:38 PM
@leea-1334, For a low amount of investment, holding altcoin is ok. you can't make enough profit from bitcoin if your investment is not large. It will be difficult to survive in the bitcoin market with a low amount of investment.

I suppose that is true,,, but I was also a small investor starting out. Barely $100. And if I had kept it in Bitcoin before it got to $1000 I would have made now 50 x $100 = $5000! And this is only five years wait.

But I put it in many many alts that today even I will have a hard time trying to find an exchange that has enough volume to sell them for cents.

So I say this from experience.
1839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 24, 2021, 11:59:59 AM
The Telegraph reports that Arteta held a meeting with the club's management, where he was given five matches to correct the situation with the team's results. This is the last chance for Arteta from the team management, after which he will be dismissed. By the way, the defeat against Arsenal was the 20th under the leadership of Arteta and it took 60 matches to get such a result. For example, for Arsene Wenger, who previously led Arsenal, it took 116 matches for 20 losses. However, there are some problems with the squad, because any coach will not be completely happy when you have COVER-19 Willian, Lacazette, Aubameyang, as well as Nketiah, Partey, Gabriel are injured.

Well we all knew Arteta was not Wenger,,, and everybody at Arsenal also knew that. I just cannot understand why they hired him and made it permanent when they had to realize this results was coming.

No leader. No good coach. Not their fault. Old and expensive buys that keep not playing.

See and now people who forced Wenger away wish they had him back.
1840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for Afghanistan and Taiwan on: August 24, 2021, 11:21:24 AM
I think Taiwan will be like Iran and Afghanistan will be like Zimbabwe.

We see that in these incoming days if that will happen or it just another hype for a while then will normalize after these two countries where crypto adoptions are more likely to be embraced by people who fear in losing their money.

Investment or form of payment transactions, better to see the after effect of bitcoin.

There is nothing hype about these discussions,,, you have completely missed the point where we are not talking about investors or speculators but people running away from their countries or people trying to protect their wealth and transport it with them while they are looking for refuge across other nations.

Pay attention man.
