1842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm a full-time crypto trader. Here're my recent trades & answers to questions on: February 10, 2020, 08:17:44 PM
Trading for me has not been very good because whenever i try it, the end result is loss, once you get to emotional into trading you start making mistakes without having an exit plan and with the volatile market this could end up in chasing losses instead, so i intend to read more and watch how the expert do it.
Also could you share your strategy when the price is trading between support and resistance ? how do you deal with uncertainty ?

What you really need to succeed in trading is to work on your emotion as this will not only affects your trading crypto currency strategy but it may equally affect your investment decision some time in not managed.

Do you know what I realised the other day.   I cant easily separate the I from the ego.

For some reason your statement resonated with this realisation. So I mention it aloud.

1843  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: February 10, 2020, 08:14:42 PM

Time for January results🤩

The year started in a right way. Traded mostly BTC and ETH futures, sometimes BNB. Played with scalping.
6 BTC in a month is a good start for the 2020 earning journey!

Maybe this graph would benefit from incorporation of the total bitcoin owned

Why have you got "Pink Panties" as your personal text? Is that the colour of knickers you are wearing today?

This is the only explanation you're getting - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnXPqUU6fI0&t=0m51s

I think you got away so lightly here.

I know when a few of the old masters around here saw you dare to mention Gentalmand's panties they were reeling back with fear what might be unleashed. OK some may have just reached for the popcorn.

Thank satoshi for weird "music" on youtube.

To not focus in last 6 years we can focus in last 6 months.  For those that dont monitor Monero progress weekly can now read a half year summary of the second half of 2019.

https://revuo-monero.com/periodicals/periodical-4-2019.html

I was creating the dev summaries years ago. Remember the Monero whirlwind missives?

Bullet point summaries of the dev effort each month, from their more detailed summaries.

Even that was hard to keep up with.

1846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: February 10, 2020, 10:50:23 AM
Fuck off to their thread then and stop spamming your BS crap here.

Anyone can see the open source developments of Monero, prove to me there has been nothing done in 6 years?

What a crock of shit.

Goodbye

And Welcome Back bones261!

Just to let everyone know. I am doing great. Sorry to worry some people. I'm just for all intensive purposes a nocoiner now. I'll try to check in more often. We shall see.

Sometimes, in life, the priorities are what force us to make certain decisions, that's how it is, there is no more.

It is really difficult to say, for sure, or even to lecture someone else for taking a zero position in regards to bitcoin.

It is almost as if you have no spare income whatsoever.. or no view of the future or no ability to save.

So, maybe if you don't have any savings and only debt, then it would be better to get your debt paid off first and to establish yourself an ability to save... and if you have absolutely not enough money to put away that you can afford to not think about, then maybe you cannot be in bitcoin.. even if that is a mere $20 per month... or some low level like that.

There are usually ways that even really poor people are able to stack some investments away, and maybe the only exception would be if a person believes that he is not going to live more than a few years, so really in a liquidation phase of his life and liquidating most if not all assets.

You sound like a lucky man who can always save no matter what.

Having a family, childcare costs, travel to work costs, feeding them all is not as easy as you imply. You are frequently making choices what to sacrifice for the greater good.  It isn't the kids childhoods they need to be put first.

It is his channel (dr Peterson) bit of weird video all round.

Like one recorded forcibly by terrorists.

I know JP would say don't follow me. Find your own bloody way.

He also accepts the fact life can be bloody tough and its unfair in nature.

Being brainy can be a curse, Id rather have the light on but you deal with futility.

1853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 08, 2020, 10:34:50 AM

I found Chelsea vs ManU and Leicester vs Wolves games are the best these days.
Chelsea is good indeed and ManU has good players. Both teams have won only one time in the last five games in EPL with ManU losing 3 times... Chelsea Odds remain better imo but we may see surprises. I think Chelsea 2-1 ManU and Leicester 1-1 Wolves, maybe!

The match will not be held this week but next week.
This week's EPL match will only have 8 clubs competing
Everton vs Crystal Palace
Brighton vs Watford
Sheff Utd vs Bournemouth
Man City vs West Ham
you can see here https://www.premierleague.com/fixtures
In my opinion only the match between Man City vs West Ham is awaited to see if City can win 3 points to reduce the points gap from LFC.
It doesn't matter imo for the city to reduce the gap from Liverpool, it's already over for this season with that 22 points gap. Maybe a win for the spot in champions league.

If Liverpool can win their next 6 matches, they can lift the trophy on crystal palace match.

Its moving backwards it was to be the city game.

Maybe they will win it at Watford?   Smiley

Just getting weirder and weirder out in Communistland. Dont think for one minute that this isnt cosmic punishment for being hostile to Bitcoin. CCP is going down and probably sooner rather than later.

https://twitter.com/howroute/status/1225962215691497472 video of trucks spraying down the city

That screamed propaganda video, look we are mighty. Our big trucks can crush virus.

Always a staged moment is captured

1855  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 08, 2020, 10:09:28 AM
In my opinion it is this:

It is one thing to find an alternative protocol to Bitcoin interesting, or believe in it as an investment.

I don't agree with this view, but people have the right to make choices, even if they ultimately prove to be wrong.  Live and let live.

However, going so far as refusing to condemn the objectively indefensible, places someone beyond the possibility of respect.  A fellow traveler ceases to be a friend, which is a shame.

Craig Wright's lack of principles and honesty is objectively indefensible.  This has been proven in a court of law.  He has lied under oath; it is not unreasonable to conclude he lives a tissue of lies.

When any man is obviously of sound mind and intelligent, but still disregards the obvious and will not condemn this plainly malignant, transparent liar, one can only conclude he is either; as corrupt as the man he defends, too egotistical, or too weak and foolish to look in the mirror and admit that he might be wrong.

And again, you conflate my support of BSV with support of CSW. Just no.

Dashjr has stated it is legitimate to kill all non-xtians. Does that taint all of BTC? No. For the person and the coin are two different things.

Do you think TRX and Justin Sun are two different things? Do you think TRX is not tainted by Justin?

If you believe that, then I have some TRX to sell you.

There are plenty of reasons to completely ignore TRX. So I do.

Irrelevant false equivalence is irrelevant.

“I don’t like your question because I can’t answer it truthfully without revealing my corruption so I am going to pretend that I am above answering it”.

Have you considered running for office?

Don’t be a pussy.  Answer the question. Yes or No.

I answered the question. TRX is irrelevant to me. I can't be bothered to spend the time to look into it. Perhaps you have infinite amounts of free time on your hands. I do not.

Don’t pretend ignorance of Justin Sun and TRX - it’s completely transparent  You always run away from hard questions.

Stop being a pussy and answer the question.   Can Justin Sun be separated from TRX.  Yes or No.

Go fuck yourself. I have no idea, and I can't be arsed to look into it.

But maybe we can figure it out together. What control does Justin Sun have over TRX? For example, can he censor transactions?

Yes.  Justin Sun can censor transactions the same way Calvin Ayre can

Stop deflecting and running away from the question.  Answer the question.  Yes or No.

If Justin Sun can censor txs on TRX, then yes, Justin Sun has undue control over TRX.

Your implication that Ayre has such control over BSV is just embarrassing ignorance.

ANY SHA256 miner can guarantee that BSV will live. All they need do is not cease mining.

Now go fuck yourself.

I thought again maybe wrongly they had servers ready to go restoring the chain if they need to roll it back? that sounds to me like a yes, even if it is a defensive measure
1856  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 08, 2020, 10:07:58 AM
For anyone looking to really smoke some Hopium, here goes.

What if the Chinese Communist Party ends up losing power from the Coronavirus and transitions to a Democracy in the next few years. What would that mean for Bitcoin.

Ill tell you what it means. We will get full legalization of Bitcoin as a currency in China, a return of Chinese Bitcoin exchanges, a Chinese Bitcoin ETF, and much more.

Percent probability of China suddenly going democratic?

Ultra ultra low?
1857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 08, 2020, 10:00:52 AM
I just ran the calculations on my Bitmain S9i at 12TH and 1,000 watts. (one only, never to ROI) BTC Miner on www.slushpool.com

So it will TAKE 14 years and 2 months for me to make ONE Bitcoin on this puppy!

What boggles my mind is AFTER Halving (currently May 12th, 2020) https://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/

The same S9i (assuming difficulty the same..as in very unlikely, but still) it will take 28 years to make ONE BITCOIN!

As a result, I bought some BTC, just now, so prepare for a dump in BTC price! (This is how I roll!) Smiley

But a different way to have the halving hit you in the face in an obvious way!

Thanks as always for taking the time to reply.

Not sure I can adjust some of those setting on the .io thing.

I just wondered, if it was an indicator like when Bollinger bands squeeze and triangles close.

Being electronic in nature I like a sin curve too eh ?   Cool

Cheers.
