1841  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Which nodes and miners accept transactions fees below 1 sats/vbyte? on: April 28, 2023, 04:20:09 AM
The best answer still is contact the pool operators and ask. Worst they can say is no.

They will probably say no the accurate point is 99% hahaha

But, if there are blocks that are not full (has been a while since that happened), they may be interested in taking your transactions (free extra money). But none of them do by default.

That's the point.

In today mainnet the possibility to get approved by using 0 fee is impossible in my opinion I regulary check mempool.space even when the network is doesn't have congestion they might approved with above of 3 sat or 4 sat.

Normal Range is between ~10 sat.

and the other things fee is making the mining profitable for now they get block reward but when the cap 21 million btc is out transaction need a fee to attract approver/miner
1842  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Intel Discontinues Bitcoin Mining Chip Series on: April 28, 2023, 04:09:39 AM
I dont know why but when Intel joined the trend it seems to fail, If we take a look back couple of year ago intel joined chip for mobile phones but after year struggling they decide to give up on mobile chip and then they want made a discrete GPU and struggle for couple of year and last year they launched their external GPU but the market seems ignore it

and now bitcoin chip I think they already lose with biggest Bitcoin chip manufacturer like bitmain and avalon. But i do aggree with @mikeywith we need more competition in this series of bitcoin chip industries

more competitor meaning cheap to buy for customer right?
1843  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: What instruments are you using for mining? on: April 28, 2023, 03:51:59 AM
Well, other members already has said already, if you are still confused with the thread on here you can check youtube there is dozen of helpful videos out there.

Mining machine nowadays is crazy expensive so if you want to try How mining work and setup hardware you can mine altcoin first by using your cpu/gpu so you can familiarize yourself first. '
Or buy used bitcoin mining on ebay like USB or third generation Antminer.

and piece of advice stay away from cloud mining on the internet usually they are Ponzi scheme and scam in couple of weeks hahaha
1844  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How often do you check your farm, steps to gain some peace of mind. on: April 28, 2023, 03:44:14 AM
Right now I don't have rig but back a year ago I have the same feel as you do, although is only a small miner and I run it in my other room not a "Farm" and Im using Miningrigrental to see whether my miner connect and running well because when sometimes goes wrong they will email me like drop of hahsrate too.

I think Bitcoin pool nowadays can give an alert when something goes wrong, Just make sure the cable is nice and tidy Cheesy
1845  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: mining one block with low hashrate on: April 27, 2023, 10:54:48 AM
It is possible if you are very lucky.

True  Wink

you need dozen tons of luck tho if you are using an old chip get single "accepted" transaction in prompt would be hard.

If you want to test lucky that is totally fine but I do recommend if you have money to buy new machine that more efficient and at least give you money back in return if you dont have the money right now just do DCA bitcoin price right now and the price is really tempting too at this point
1846  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: replacement for pow on: April 27, 2023, 10:45:13 AM
controlling 51% of the node is possible but impossible hahaha

so in the network big like bitcoin or litecoin in this case as PoW it would be heard to get 51% even pool operator sometimes said to their user to distribute their hashrate although this would possible to new altcoin but Im rarely hear of it

and if you talk about Proof of Stake controlling 51% will be hard too since you need buy dozen of coin to stake which mean need dozen ton of money we took example of ETH, ETH need 32 ETH to build single node which cost around 60K at todays rate

the other hand BNB smart chain that only have 21 Validator super tigh competition even need other user of BNB to join the validator which need hundred of dollar so yeah
1847  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How to close a crypto exchange easily on: April 27, 2023, 10:39:20 AM
This case will be long.
If you are talking about the security of your personal data, then I do not trust exchanges.

Well if that the case yes, we cannot trust  any exchange although they say in their term of use that they will not abuse or sell our data bla bla bla hehehehe

and I hear about an app that said can remove our personal information but I dont think really know how the app works https://incogni.com/ here the website if you want to visit

1852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which of your friends and relatives deals with bitcoin? on: April 26, 2023, 01:54:50 AM
Okay, I actually share this before, in another thread but I'm gonna share it again now. Cheesy I become interested in cryptocurrency because I like how to earn money online and when did happen, it because my friend the year was 2014 then I found my friend do online gambling but he have some sort of cheat sheet so he can win a lot from it and I ask her how to withdraw the money and he said using Bitcoin, and that time I first the word "Bitcoin" and I ask again how much you deposited and he said a couple of bucks and this is not my money I got this from the faucet and then I do gambling.

and from there he gave me a site that gives very basic Information about bitcoin and faucets, with how to do gambling too hahaha.  Grin My curiosity drove me crazy that tell me I should do a faucet every day. Got Hacked and got scammed several times but this is me now.

although i tried to share with my friend but some of it will skeptic about cryptocurrency and the other really dont care
1853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Satoshi is eventually ID by the government on: April 26, 2023, 01:52:04 AM
Satoshi of course have an legal ID from the government but people don't really know the person is.

and even tho government really know about satoshi it wont change the bitcoin since now is decentralized and the bitcoin code maintain by the community. if gov really found him it just crazy after all

1855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoiners are unaware. The mining algorithm wasn't designed to advance science. on: April 25, 2023, 03:29:44 AM
There is actually a coin do mining while contributing to medical research it is called banano and you can mine here  https://bananominer.com/. It is not very popular but I think maybe someday trend like this coin is start to exist.

And you can mine Foldingathome by using your cpu and mine other crypto with your gpu
1856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Little Bitcoin investment becoming something else on: April 25, 2023, 03:20:32 AM
Buy and sell while holding is my strategy right now HODL is great but take profit is a must at the end of the day the reason I am holding is take some profit.

So when you buy and DCA and made a profit it is okay to take profit some of it and continue to buy more when the price had a correction
1857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which YouTube channels and pages to follow for update on market news and TA? on: April 25, 2023, 03:13:28 AM
I dont really have precise channel but I learning some trading indicator from thesee https://www.youtube.com/c/DataTraders

1858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I will never own a whole Bitcoin and that's okay on: April 25, 2023, 02:48:46 AM
The most I had acquired in the past was approximately 0.40 BTC, somewhere in 2014 or 2015; I don't exactly remember. It must hurt knowing that you had 5 Bitcoins in the past, but the truth is that there's no point in looking back; you couldn't have known, and the majority of us would probably have sold in the first bull market available.

I never buy Bitcoin back then I only got it from the bounties and the highest bounty that I got is from Lisk which pays me around 2.1 Btc  Shocked . and yes as an old member like us, it will be very hurtful when we can see today price  Grin but just like you have said there is no point in looking back.

The best thing is learning from the past  Cool. I remember I had to sell all my holdings when Bitcoin price is around ~$500 what a crazy hahaha

DCA if you do have the money and if you are really that serious on accumulating one coin and wont really be that a huge spender or impulsive buyer on things because this is one of the most common
behavior on why we dont able to reach out our goals just because we are really that having that kind of behavior on which it isnt a must thing to be done.
Also you should really be knowing on how to get contented even though you wont be able to reach out 1 whole coin.

There is other way if we don't have money to deposit or to buy the bitcoin by participating bounties like signature and HODL
