It sounds like you're running a 3-module Avalon unit. I run one myself, and it will occasionally drop a significant amount of hash rate and require a restart in order to resume normal speed. It has nothing to do with the pool, it's the hardware. It will generally run 1-3 weeks before the problem shows up again.
After restart problem stay. They working about 4 weeks, and I first have this problem. In meanwhile, I do not know if it restarts when I was not there. Also they working on other pools, before, and don't have a problem. Now also. Have you let it run for _ONE HOUR_ straight? If you have hardware issues and restart, it will take a full hour for your speed estimate on BTC Guild to update. There is *NOTHING* wrong with the pool, this is entirely you, so there is definitely something either wrong in you're setup, or you're not waiting long enough for the estimate to adjust.

I don't know what you mean with "You're running extremely slow hardware", my minimum difficulty set on 64. My laptop's graphics card gets ~110Mh/s, so ~80Mh/s really is quite slow. The lower your hashrate, the lower the minimum difficulty you should use. You should be using a min difficulty of 1. The higher the minimum difficulty, the more network traffic will be generated, but the more steady your income will be. This is incorrect. Higher minimum difficulty = less network traffic, but more variance.

Block Erupter Blades are now available on the BTC Guild store page. Orders of 10 units will include a backplane for easier setup/installation.
Units are in stock and shipping within 48 hours (normally same/next business day based on time of order). Unlike USB Erupters, these will not remain on sale for the next batch once stock has run out. The store is set to mark 'Out of Stock' in advance to allow people time to send their payments in, so if you see 'Out of Stock', check back on the forum to find out if there will be more available. At this time I do not know if additional inventory will be ordered beyond the current batch of 100.

What a ....? ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) After changing on stratum protocol, my speed drop down in last 24 hours from 82 Mhash to 62 (prize also 0.46 to 0.37). ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) On other pools all its OK (speed is 82). I go there for now. Btcguild must solve it. I need more information. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the pool right now. Additionally, your speed is so slow that it's impossible to have an accurate measurement of your speed in the time frame the pool uses to estimate it. I connect machine on stratum+tcp://stratum.btcguild.com:3333, and all its OK until yesterday. Today I watch stats and see that speed drop down, and prize so. And this is all. I don't know what is problem, only I write facts. In cgminer stats my speed is over 82 Mhash, and on other pools speed is OK, and prize so. You can try dropping your worker difficulty to '1' and restarting your miner. You're running extremely slow hardware, and with a default difficulty of 2 on BTC Guild, you will see a lot of variance when running that slowly. However, you could easily end up on the other end with your speed showing up 15-20 MH/s higher.

No, my total is within 100 Mh/s of what I would expect it to be. My miners total 73Gh/s so I'm showing less than a 0.1% difference between the mining software and what BTC Guild shows.
Ahh, I misread it. Thanks for clarification. I was really wondering there "Wait, is he showing 100 GH/s on a 73 GH/s miner? Or is it MH/s?"

Not seeing the problem here. I'm showing as within 100 Mh/s total on miners totaling 73 Gh/s...
I really hope you mixed G and M up on one of those ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Blades will be available on the store later today. Unlike USB Block Erupters, Blades will be removed from the store when stock runs out until a new batch is ordered+received.
A 10-blade bundle option which includes a backplane will also be made available for easier installation and setup.

unknown's share continue to increase. some hidden mining entity?
Not very hidden. Most of that speed is ghash.io, BitFury's solo mining operation. http://blockorigin.pfoe.be shows the actual unknown part of the network is still extremely small (~3%). Yes, eleuthria's right. However bitfury has granted me access to ghash.io's pool stats and "unknown" should return to it's previous low levels. And indeed they have. The luck was obscenely bad this week for BTC Guild, especially the last 24 hours. We had a bad run at the start of the week, a good run in the middle, but the last 24 hours have been some of the most brutal rounds we've had in a long time (back to back 1.5-2 hour blocks for most of the day).

Ugh. The luck, she is being very bad, yes? What a day to decide to switch over 90 Gh/s to BTCG ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) Yeah, just bounced back to negative luck this difficulty. Let's hope for another big swing upwards soon.

Received my most recent 8 coupon units. Thanks eleuthria! But I think there is a scam going on here.... Regardless of what the pictures posted around the internet may show, 56 out of my 56 units are BLACK. I don't think they actually come in ANY other color. The other colors you see in pictures must be photoshopped !! ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) Actually, the most recent 1,000 that are shipping are all red! They just refuse to give me a variety pack ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) .

Both are working on eligius, 60gh @diff 128, 45gh @diff 64. I tried 256, but it fell down to 30gh for 2hours tonight.
diff 128 too much for 60gh i think ... 8-16 is nice. I saw a statement (by ckolivas) that the diff you use should be roughly the nearest power of 2 to ( speed in Gh/s / 1,6 ). For 60 Gh/s, that divides out to 37,5 - so the diff you should be using would be about 32 (or 16 if you want to go one less.) That's BTC Guild's recommendation, and it works out very well. There's a more precise calculation for pools that offer more difficulty precision, but most of them use powers of 2. The "nearest power of 2" method will put you right in the range that variable difficulty for most pools would adjust you to. Generally rounding down is preferred unless you're just shy of the next tier.

Update on Blades: It looks like these were meant to go to another reseller, and it was an error in shipping. Currently waiting on one more response from friedcat before I do anything with them.

BTC Guild still offers getwork, but its days are numbered. The only products that rely on getwork are luckily marketed towards technical people, so stratum proxies aren't all that difficult for them to get running.

Definitely looking forward to a guide for using blades with BFGminer. Can't believe they didn't add stratum on these. Also, I know many people like the network interface and could care less for USB on these, but I was looking forward to just throwing a couple on my pi. Guess that's not gonna happen. Anyway, looks like it's quite easy to hook these guys up with power using a "Y" molex splitter or Molex-PCIe connector. Wonder if they have them consuming a little less power this time around? Maybe thats why they clocked them down, to set the voltage to be most efficient? Or maybe for long term reliability? The prices are certainly MUCH lower now though...
Eleuthria, thanks for the close up pic. Did you get any backplanes? If so can you snap a pic or two?
I did get some backplanes, but I don't want to open that until I know what the terms are going to be for these units. The one I opened is one of the spares they provide in advance for replacement units.

Update for the pool:
The migration to a faster database server hit a small snag and has not yet started. Hopefully it will happen Monday evening.

Yeah, I was never a big fan of the blades just because they're so...user-unfriendly. I can understand requiring a bit of work to get something like a BitFury 400 GH/s kit running. But not a 10-13 GH/s unit.
cant wait till they go on sale. How much you thinking? Waiting on a response from ASICMINER before I update the store for them. I have no idea if it was an error in shipment, or an attempt at a consignment sale without notifying me beforehand. https://i.imgur.com/tAyDLKk.jpg - Picture of the "new" blades now that they're just one piece.
