Only theymos can delete accounts, and when that happens the usernames get substituted by Anonymous, so he's just full of shit when he says he deleted his account Wink

OP, please tell us, which service is it you're trying to contact?

You didn't even mentioned if it was bitinstant or not.
Dannyhamilton concluded it was, but you never said it yourself, so, until know you're making a complaint about some unknown service.
Actually he did at least do that...

. . . Im posting here in the hopes of having Yankee or another support team member actualy care about my issue . . . I would think seeing how large bitinstant is, that they would have some kind of standard set for their work ethic . . .

That doesn't tell me they've used their service to buy bitcoins.
Why is it he wants to talk to Yankee? Why does it matter that bitinstant is large or not?
Seeing the lousy way the OP explained why he needed help why should I assume he used bitinstant in the first place?
Maybe he's confusing them with some other company. After all this is bitcointalk.org, not bitinstanttalk.com, and he did come here asking for help... Roll Eyes

Dannyhamilton concluded it was, but you never said it yourself, so, until know you're just making a complaint about some unknown service. Your only reference to bitinstant is about them being a large service, you say nothing about using them. Maybe you've used some other service, who knows?

Next time, when you want help, please know who to direct your angst to, because this is a forum about bitcoin and not a bitinstant support forum, despite bitinstant being well represented here.

Now, give me a good reason for leaving this thread here instead of throwing it to the Trashcan right away...
I'm waiting.

PS: I have no patience to deal with SR newbs who only remember this forum exists after bitinstant taking more than 1hr to service them.
No one in this forum owes you anything, so, take it easy...

Great. With this hasty move you removed every option to generate that vanity adress with provable "only we have the priv key" for them.
People may trust you here. Donations may be a small sums game.
But you might be shocked to learn that real business (tm) might not accept to have a funds accepting account where some stranger(s) have unlimited access to. I don't even believe that bitpay would want to touch this adress.
However, there are unlimited more adresses with those starting bits. Not with those firstbits though.

Ente

Why would people need to trust me?
I didn't offer the address for taking, did I? In fact I was very clear that those firstbits would be taken after the transaction confirmed.
I don't support firstbits use, much less to be used by persons inexperienced with Bitcoin, as it can lead to errors.
1849  Economy / Economics / Re: The pirate-based shitstorm was and is a necessary regulator on: November 24, 2012, 07:23:50 PM
for the record "Pirate"/"Pirateat40" === "Trendon Shavors"

If you could refer to him by his proper name rather then his nic it's helps with SEO.  The more hits "Trendon Shavors" gets on google, the more likely other who have yet to be scammed by will be kept inform of his methods.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it's spelled Shavers, but sure, optimize the wrong spelling.

And he writes Shavors instead of Shavers like 95% of the time lol

1852  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Syncro / Receiving btc on: November 24, 2012, 05:24:14 PM
if after it syncs completely you still don't see your bitcoins in there, open the debug window console on the help menu and do a rescan of the blockchain.
1853  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: November 24, 2012, 04:44:22 PM
piuk I really appreciate your service but what I just saw really ins't cool. I realize anyone who knows how to use google can find the same info, but I still don't see a reason why you need to display it automatically:

https://blockchain.info/address/1H4sGgNSRvRuiUsbucsQBNFWhZcLnL2KW1

At least give us an option to disable this in account settings or something.

It's not in anyway tied to a My Wallet account. All I did was write a quick spider to check the signatures on bitcointalk and create a tag for each one found. I can remove your signature if you like, however remember if blockchain can index them then any entity (with possibly more nefarious intentions) can also. I guess just be careful posting your bitcoin address publicly. Also be aware not only about information you may have revealed yourself but also also of information that people you have sent and received transactions from have also made public.

Tagging does not follow coins. However this is probably possible by determining the change output and attaching a confidence rating.

You should have your spider also go to bitcoin-otc user pages and get the addresses from there Grin
1854  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Syncro / Receiving btc on: November 24, 2012, 04:21:07 PM
You need those 1125 missing blocks.
All you can do is wait for it to sync.
Shouldn't take more than a couple hours if your hardware(CPU/HDD) is somewhat recent.

I'm all in favour of permissive copyright laws, but for private use. When you start selling shit that ain't yours it's another ball game...

It's not as crazy as you guys think.
I know there are(or were) some Facebook groups created for this purpose. Read an article about it, saying the Health inspection was giving them problems.

A foundation needs to have something to get funding from
Where are you getting the funds from to pay those awards?
1860  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://www.pyramining.com/ - Discussion thread (no advertising here) on: November 23, 2012, 11:51:54 PM
Looking at the price per GH/s in ASIC farming, it is lower than the price per GH/s when buying ASIC's directly from BFL.. How come? does he get a discount or something? Or are the figures wrong?

Here we don't use ANYTHING related to BFL. And we don't sell ASICs to end users. So we don't need to care about making a user-friendly software/interface/enclosure/whatever, we don't need to provide user support, and so on. This keeps our costs lower, at the benefit of everyone.

Have you thought about adding alt-coins to your payments?  It would probably attract additional investment if people new they were going to receive more than just bitcoins if they wish.  Maybe you could also offer a way to invest into Pyramining with alt-coins such as namecoins and devcoins?
Are you an investor on Pyramining? Do you suspect everyone to be like you?
I still remember you opening a thread offering a bounty for a logo and never paying up... Roll Eyes
Pyraming has kept his promisses until know. No one else is asking for more besides you.
You have 2 choices: You invest or you don't.
