1861  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto winter setting in.. and how long will it last on: June 15, 2022, 01:36:28 PM

Many crypto exchanges are laying off employees. Recentlycelsius recently has limited the withdrawal
Bill Gates  has called  Crypto, NFTs as Based on ‘Greater-Fool’ Theory
Yet many other well read people like American billionaire businessman David Rubenstein said that crypto would not go anywhere despite the ongoing market correction.

How long will this market correction will continue and where will this stop.. and where will Bitcoin stabalize

Why should you care what others say when you are a direct market participant and not them. The market is going through a strong correction and this is not the first time bitcoin has dropped in price so there is no need to worry, no one can say exactly when this bear wave will end, it could end tomorrow or it could last for another 2 3 years. Nobody knows. As long as you don't panic and keep holding, I'm sure the market will bounce back in the future.
1862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 14, 2022, 01:47:57 PM
Speaking of stamina, Luka Modric is still quite fit but has decreased from the previous season, and the playing opportunities that Ancelotti has given to Luka Modric have also decreased if look at the appearances of the 36-year-old player from the 20-21 to 21-22 season. But I have no doubt that I will see him again maybe in the next two seasons with Real Madrid, because Modrid has an important role as you said.

Talking about potential La Liga winners next season, maybe I'm a little doubtful, because on the other hand Barcelona as a rival also made changes in Xavi's hands.
Laliga title race is indeed difficult to predict because Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have always been strong candidates for Laliga champions. other clubs may not have a chance to shake off their dominance. like Valencia who used to be strong competitors but in recent seasons they have not played well and their performance has dropped drastically. next season several big clubs began to clean up such as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

My guess is that only Real Madrid and Barcelona will fight for the La Liga title next season. Atletico Madrid is not strong enough. And Atletico Madrid's management does not spend enough money to build their team. If they do not get a new striker next season, they will not be able to form a suitable team to fight for the title. This season we will only see the dominance of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Sri Lanka VS Bangladesh

Australia and Sri Lanka face off in the first ODI today after losing the T20 series. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat. In the first two T20 matches, we saw poor batting of Sri Lanka. And so the Australia team seems to be the favourite in this match. There is no consistency in the performance of Sri Lankan players. There is no specific player in the squad who can consistently play well in every match. Let's see how the Sri Lankan batsmen perform today.....

The Sri Lankan batsmen are batting responsibly. At the end of 13 overs, Sri Lanka collected 72, and the interesting thing is that Sri Lanka has not lost any wicket yet. Nissanka scored 36 runs and Gunathilaka collected 33 runs. If the Australian bowlers are not able to pick up wickets quickly, Sri Lanka will provide more than 300 targets today. And if the target is more than 300 then it will be very difficult for Australia to win this match.

Sri Lanka lost the first wicket for 115 runs. The two openers batted very well. Opener Dhanuska Gunathilaka was dismissed for 55 runs. Sri Lanka scored 115 runs at the end of 20 overs and their run rate is well enough. They have averaged 5.75 runs per over. It may not be difficult for Sri Lanka to score 300 runs today.
1864  Economy / Economics / Re: From Sideways to Downhill on: June 14, 2022, 03:43:07 AM
Apparently, the sideways market broke down not out. Are we in a "now what" situation? Or do you think this is as far down as it goes? Even the week chart looks bad for BTC. Any suggestions what to do?

The market is falling and will continue to fall and there is nothing we can do to stop it. Instead of panicking and leaving the market, this is clearly an opportunity to own bitcoin cheaply, you should continue to hold your bitcoins, not sell for the time being. the market will surely recover the way bitcoin did in 2018 after bitcoin dropped from $20k to $3k and then it bounced back and hit an ATH of 67k in 2021.
1865  Other / Archival / Re: The growth of annual inflation in US reached 8.6% on: June 14, 2022, 03:29:10 AM
The cryptomarket is supposed to grow against the inflation due to its limited supply, but here the market is experiencing the downturn as the inflated currencies. The inflation keeps rising and it has come out big all of the sudden as people have started to move after a long term work from home. During those time period the food price rise didn't make a big impact. By the time the transportation too is limited and now everything is getting to be normal and the impact is getting high. It is a slow process to get solved. More countries will join the queue soon.

Bitcoin is seen as an anti-inflation asset, but with the current situation, it has not been able to promote that. High inflation leads to higher interest rates, volatile assets like bitcoin and cryptocurrencies will be under great pressure, people will sell and seek safe havens like dollars. In the long run, it is beneficial to hold bitcoins as the price of bitcoin always increases year by year but in the short term bitcoin is not a good solution to avoid inflation.
1866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't sell your precious BTC to the whales! on: June 14, 2022, 03:06:11 AM
Many people made the mistake of selling off their bitcoins during bear season 2018 and exiting the market, this is an opportunity we should not continue to miss and it's time we correct our past mistakes mine.

Instead of selling now, this is our chance to fill our pockets on the cheap and this opportunity really only happens once. We missed our chance to buy bitcoin at 3k four years ago so don't miss your chance to buy bitcoin at 20k this year.
1867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first gas station to accept Bitcoin in my region on: June 14, 2022, 02:45:07 AM

From what I understand, the bitcoins aren't converted to fiat. You hold them. How do you handle taxes and the obligations you have towards the state when someone pays with BTC? Some more info on that could be beneficial to everyone who might be thinking about adding support for BTC in the future.

Very interesting question, I hope OP will come back soon and let us know. How did OP pay taxes to the government when people use bitcoin to pay at your business.

Currently bitcoin price has dropped a lot since OP's post, do people still use bitcoin to pay at your business and how did you handle this situation when current bitcoin price is still shows no signs of stopping.
1868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 13, 2022, 08:25:51 PM
If Mbappe really instructs the coach and wants to dominate the team, then next season we will see the poor performance of PSG. A player in Mbappe, he never has the ability to interfere in any work of the coach, otherwise the performance of the team will not be stable. Stable performance from the team can never be expected if the coach cannot work independently.
Mbappe will potentially create internal conflicts. So far in his career, we don't see it in PSG. He was like a mediator when Neymar and Cavani had conflict. But it seems now he feels he is matured and becomes a big star, then he will use his power, exploit his importance in the club to get more power.

It's true that if it happens, PSG will have a very difficult season, internally.
I only see that management of PSG has put on a kid too much power, and this will crash their team in long term. Let's see what will happen but I don't see nothing of good in this choice. It is awful that a kid can decide about

management or about the tactical part.

@OcTradism, If that actually happens I think he has only himself to blame because he had a really good chance of leaving the club and playing for Real Madrid but he did not take that chance and instead he chose money. And I think it will prove to be a big mistake made by the player.

@Gianluca95, The Way that PSE used to keep him in the team is not the best or at least that's what I think. If a player wants to move I think it is best for the team to let him go and find other players that are suitable for them. But instead, they have chosen to keep the player by giving him a huge amount of money. And obviously, they have given the player a lot more power than they should have.
1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 13, 2022, 07:44:17 AM
Australia during qualification matches was failed to showed impressive performance with finish at 3rd position on third round groups but at least they win from UEA and open their opportunity went to world cup but their opponent Peru is the favourite because both of teams have been met in 2018 on world cup group stage and Peru is the winner 2-0 and i think this match also will not so different that Peru will possibly win

In the last two matches, Australia won against Jordan and UAE. Australia's gameplay was good enough. But I don't think Australia can win against Peru. The Peruvian team is strong enough. They also have a strong squad to win against teams like Colombia, Ecuador and Paraguay. So Australia's goal should be to share points with Peru.
1870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 13, 2022, 05:48:16 AM
As I said before, maybe the problem is with the coach who doesn't know how to frame messi and neymar, about zidane I read that he denied being a PSG coach and I think he won't go back on that decision, PSG better give it up. zidane is a good coach and any good coach will not accept to coach PSG because Mbape will give orders to coaches and that is humbling

1871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: June 13, 2022, 03:34:15 AM
Which coin will be ready to buy. It is time to dump the all coin. Can you expect the market to do something good in June. What do you say.
I can say MATIC is a coin that is on my list, because Matic's price is also cheap,
and being at $0.5 is a very cheap price for a good project like Matic,
I'm sure July will be good for Matic and all altcoins, therefore try adding Matic list in your portfolio

Matic is also a potential coin to consider buying in this bear market, but given the bad market situation, I think we should focus on bitcoin and ethereum. Aside from bitcoin and ethereum, any coin could look like the next Luna coin, so be cautious when holding altcoins and be prepared to take the risk should that happen. if you want to hold altcoins i think it's better to wait a bit longer as bitcoin can fall further so for altcoins this is not a good price to buy.
1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Need Help for investment in new projects on: June 13, 2022, 03:24:06 AM
need help guys i am new in the world of crypto and have a small portfolio as you guys know the market is completely dumped but i noticed people making good profits from the newly launched projects so i found a project named dragon Space you can visit their website here : dragonspace.io
and i found this project interesting because they have a lot of features such as rebase in every 3 seconds , P2E, marketplace, and much more and also most of the features are live and they have a fair launch on 12th of June 14:00UTC on pinksale and i am going to take part in it but i am afraid of losing money so need help should i invest in this project or not may be you guys know better than me thanks. I also share you website and gitbook link

Website: https://dragonspace.io/
gitbook: https://dragon-space.gitbook.io/dragonspace-gitbook-3/

The market is quite bad so I advise you not to join new projects, if you are afraid of losing money when investing in it, it is best not to invest at this time.

A lot of coins have dropped in price even there are many potential altcoins after having impressive growth days, their current price is almost equal to the initial IEO, ICO price. So I think you should focus on old potential altcoins instead of new altcoins.
1873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Act to defend privacy or resign ourselves to its loss? on: June 13, 2022, 03:13:51 AM
I don't know what we can do to preserve privacy because, in the end, it's still the government who can control use with their regulations. Bitcoin's purpose is for decentralization, we don't need a 3rd party to transact but sadly the government intervened when they saw that bitcoin is getting a massive adoption already.

We are living in a centralized world where there's a leader in a certain country, and some countries are allies with others that follow a certain set of standards, therefore it's really hard to fight for privacy when in the end it will only make the government ban bitcoin since we don't want it to be regulated.

We live in a world dominated and controlled by the government, to be honest, I don't think we can stand against them. Maybe they can't control bitcoin but they can obviously ban it and interfere with our privacy through centralized exchanges and moreover they can issue a bitcoin ban if we try antipathy against them. Government power comes from centralization so not only bitcoin but anything that compromises their power they will find a way to manage or destroy it.
1874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why we should Buy some Bitcoins on: June 13, 2022, 02:49:23 AM
Quote
I think it is the right time to buy because u might be waiting for more price declination before buying and you won't see the time coming. I know with the current experience in Bitcoin market many are anticipating that the price will still drop. But still it will be nice to buy and be watching how it goes. Thanks

Yes, this is the best time to buy bitcoin and hold for the price to increase higher in the market before you can sell to make a good profit. Now that the price has dropped down to $27,000 few hours ago showed that there is still opportunity for people to buy huge amount of bitcoin before the price will increase higher. I think, those that bought bitcoin few months ago when the price dropped down to $30,000 are seriously watching the market price to hit back $50,000 before they can sell to make a huge amount of money from their investment.

Yes bitcoin price is trading at 25.7k, not sure if this is the best or lowest price of bitcoin but at this price we can start buying . When bitcoin was at $30k a lot of people believed it was the bottom of this bear cycle so a lot of people bought at that price so it will be good for those who haven't bought bitcoin yet, buy it from now on.

IMO, bitcoin price is likely to drop to the $20k region and stay there for a long time before rising again, but it's all speculation so I think we should start spreading our buy orders.  if bitcoin continues to fall, we will continue to buy.
1875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 12, 2022, 06:54:55 PM
I don't think Dortmund can fight Bayern either. Bayern are a very experienced team and they have many other good players. In this case, they will be like Real Madrid when Ronaldo left, but the team did not stop playing well and continued to lead the league. All in all, I don't even know what would have to happen for Borussia to beat the current Bayern.
Borussia Dortmund need to strengthen their squad regularly for a few years in order to pass Bayern Munich on the way to the championship in the league. For example, it was necessary to keep Haaland in the team this year and make good reinforcements for the missing parts. However, Borussia Dortmund often lose their good players at the end of the year. However, very good players had played for Borussia Dortmund before. They had to protect their players. Maybe they can pass Bayern next year, but they have to be very systematic.

The problem with Dortmund is that they don't bring in a player to think about the future of the club for a very long type. They bring in a player and think of him as a selling option with which they will be able to bring in a lot of money to the club.

They produced a lot of players who are really world class but at the end of the day they end up selling the players. This has been going on for a long time. And if they continue doing this I don't think they will be able to ever actually fight with Bayern Munich for the league title realistically.
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 12, 2022, 06:48:49 PM
Joe Root doesn't look like playing test cricket. He is scoring like playing in an ODI. As of now Joe Root have managed to score 58 runs of 72 balls. Joe Root have planned to score 500+ runs by the end of today's session. In the first match until last moment there were discussions whether the match will have a result or end up with a draw. The same scenario can happen in this match.
Since the pitch is batting friendly, Joe Root is now batting like the ODI format. Root's strike rate is now over 81. He scored 163 runs off 200 balls. As a result of responsible batting by Joe Root and Ollie Pope, England's collection at the end of the third day was 463/5. There is no expectation to see the result of this match. Undoubtedly this match is going to be a draw. My guess is that England's players will be able to bat for at least two session tomorrow

England are now just 80 runs behind New Zealand. like Joe Root and Ben Foakes experienced batsmen are still at the crease. Ben Foakes is a very experienced and responsible batsman, he has scored 24 runs from 70 balls. And I am hopeful that he will be able to play better in the days to come. England will be able to easily cross the 553-run mark. And will provide a lead of at least 100 runs.
1877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: June 12, 2022, 06:44:21 PM
West Indies scored 155 runs in 26 overs. West Indies need 115 runs in 21 overs to win. They need 5.6 runs per over. However, West Indies lost 6 valuable wickets. Keemo Paul and Akeal Hosein, who is at the crease, bat well enough, but there is no guarantee that they will be able to stay at the crease for long. Pakisthan is still the favorite to win the match.

Akeal Hosein is batting very well. He is still at the crease with 47 off 32 balls. However, I still think it is not possible for the West Indies to win this match. Pakistan bowlers are very experienced. On the other hand,  Apart from Akeal Hossain,I don't see any more experienced batsmen in the West Indies team at the moment, as they have already lost 7 wickets.
1878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should newbies Invest in new Projects on: June 12, 2022, 10:30:09 AM
I think investment in new projects is a good hope for profit when the market red. I was surprised by the market today which dropped more than 8%, the price of bitcoin dropped and made many altcoins that became my assets such as BNB, ETH, Matic and so on also drop.

I think on the contrary, once the market is red, the top coins, the potential also cannot avoid the big price drops so the new projects can not survive let alone make a profit. Investing in a new project at this time is really risky, you just lose money without profit. Better to only participate in new projects during bull season, in bear season we should focus on perennial projects and top coins to reduce risk.
1879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you educate petty traders in adopting Bitcoin? on: June 12, 2022, 10:05:18 AM

The petty traders I meant are  hawker stall, street vendors, street hawkers, market men and women, kiosks that do daily trading often.
These kind of traders are common in my country. They are small scale businesses, frankly as much as I love businesses adopting cryptocurrency, I have to say I don’t think it is a good idea for them to adopt bitcoin, it’s not realistic, the total worth of the goods they trade on an average is about $80-$300. In my country for example, the hawkers who move about selling products, they are mostly young children and teens who do not have an mobile device with internet connection. How can they accept bitcoin as payment?

In my country there are also a lot of merchants doing this business, they often move to sell and these hawker stall are mostly elderly and they don't use smartphones much, paying with bitcoin can become difficult for them. Besides, their customers are mainly children whose parents give them some pocket money so paying with bitcoin is not feasible.
1880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pricing things in Bitcoin rather than in US dollar what this could mean for BTC? on: June 12, 2022, 09:37:31 AM
Given bitcoin's volatility, I don't think it's possible to use bitcoin to price commodities, unless bitcoin becomes a stable asset class. we invest in bitcoin expecting profit so I really don't think it will ever become stable and I don't like the stability of bitcoin myself, I like its volatility and that is bitcoin.

The US government is controlling the dollar and I don't think they will let another currency or asset take the place of the dollar , that certainly can't happen.
