Left arm seamer over the wicket or debutant Offie, doesn't matter. They will rattle the Indian batting lineup once in a while for sure and when they do, they do it in style and we see fine collapse.

I won't mind this sort of collapse in bilateral. In fact, I'd consider this blessing in disguise if we don't face this in ICC's knockouts.  Tongue

India's biggest problem is unstable middle order. I agree once in while there would be a bowler who will create problem but looking at the past matches I feel every bowlers is creating problem for the Indian middle order. They always collapse in pressure.

I was happy with the agressive approach of Kholi yesterday but he too got out when a straight ball was bowled to him. The Indian side needs to work on the batting order. I feel they should put Rahul above SKY in the next match. I also feel Axar should come before Hardik Pandya.

Good comeback by Srilanka but they still trail by 98 runs. I think they can easily chase the target as Dhananjay de Silva is still on the pitch. He has already score 98 runs so a century is on the way. Any further wickets lost by Srilanka today would not help them therefore they need to form a partnership. The match is still in the hands of Kiwis. All they need to do is get a few more wickets to win this test match.

Ind Vs Aus Lowest score in ODI

The second ODI match between India and Australia at the Visakhapatnam Stadium today is one of the lowest scoring( India ১১৭/১০) matches between the two countries.
Earlier, India were bowled out for just 63 runs on January 8, 1981 in Sydney. This match is the lowest scoring match between India and Australia. However, in Sydney in 2000, India was all out for 100 runs

Considering the big names in the Indian batting order! It is very humiliating and frustrating to see the Indian team scoring only 117 runs, while batting first.

I do not know whome to blame. Every batter was amazed by the bowling of Australian side. Just see the performance of SKY in the last two match or anyone in the middle order.

They have been struggling from the test series and it continues with the ODI too. At first while watching the test series I felt they needed a some help with spin and now after watching them struggling with in swing I have nothing to say.

Let's hope he stays fit for a few months because lately, he's picking up injuries regularly. Not just him but many key players like Rohit, Iyer should remain fit too.

Indian top order crumbled against Starc. SKY in particular not looking in good touch, king pair for him and it should worry the management.

Mitchell Starc has been a class apart. Suddenly he is bowling such good in swingers which half of the Indian top batters are unable to comprehend. I think these guys need a crash course just to understand which shots has to be played against him. 7 wickets in just 2 matches is a remarkable stat for an Australian bowler bowling on Indian pitch.

As of now this match looks one sided. I am not sure how can Shami & Shiraz utilize these conditions in their favour.

Congratulations! Saw the video and it was great. A quick question for you can you repeat it once again? I doubt! Once in a while you can defeat the house but the house always win.

Also just add a disclaimer on your YouTube video about the risk involved in gambling and also age restrict it. As after sometime YouTube might ban your channel for violating the community guidelines.

Looks like Srilanka would lose the second test match too. They have already lost a wicket  for just 89 runs in the second innings. They still need to chase 324 runs which I think is a big task for the Srilankan batters. This bilateral series has been completely dominated by the Kiwis.

Doesn't matter if he had a great domestic season or not. Current match performance matters the most for the man of the match award.

Normally commentators decide the result so my guess is there might be some bias with the award or maybe Shakib voluntarily gave up the award for a debutant.

Either Shakib gave up the award voluntarily or it was done to encourage the young lad. I am also feel Shakib was kept in loop if this award was given for encouragement.

In the end it is just an award with some financial benefits. With one single award there is zero gurantee that he would be consistent with his performance & have sealed his place in international cricket.

The second ODI between India and Australia would be played today. While everyone nwas talking about KL Rahul's comeback after the first ODI. I went ahead and looked into the performance of Sir Jadeja after his comeback from injury. . Man of the Match in the first test, Man of the match in the second test, Joint Man of the series for BGT & Man of the Match in first ODI. Sir Jadeja is the reason why I feel the Indian side can become ODIWC winner of 2023.

I just found out that Rohit Sharma would not be a part of playin 11 in the first ODI. Hardik Pandya would be the captain and this is the first time that he will be captaining India's ODI team. Iyer is injured and therefore he would not be playing too.

Team India would need a replacement of both Rohit & Iyer. I think Shubhman Gill & Ishan Kishan would be the opening pair. Iyer would be replaced by SKY. I still doubt KL Rahul would get an opportunity. It would be interesting to see who Hardik would chose?

I am expecting BTC to get another push. I had read that Bitcoin has been in green for the last three months. I am expecting it to stay in green for the fourth consecutive month with an eye on 30k.

Devon Conway (78) unfortunately couldn't keep up with leading the batting effort as de Silve managed to take his wickets. After winning the toss SL choose to bowl first today, and they've already managed two crucial wickets. I must say, Sri Lanka has been putting on quite a good performance so far. The last match was impressive as well, so I'm hoping for an equally exciting game this time around. Sri Lankan bowler's really need to maintain consistency in their bowling, just as they did in the first test, in order to keep up their success.
This is bad news for the Kiwis. I was expecting him to stay till the end of today. Although he gave a good start I am not sure whether Kiwis team would be able to utilize this advantage.

Srilankan bowlers are not allowing the Kiwi batters to form a partnership. This is crucial as it will help Srilanka in the later part of the game today. I any case NZ would be looking for 300+ runs on day 1.
1872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 17, 2023, 03:53:16 AM
The second & final test match between Srilanka and Newzealand has started. Srilanka won the toss and choose to bowl first. At the moment the Kiwi batter has scored 87 runs and has not lost any wickets. Devon Convoy is looking pretty aggressive. He has already scored his half-century with a strike rate of more than 70. If he continues to play in the same manner then I assume he will score his century before the end of day 1.

Devon Conway is batting brilliantly. Now he is unbeaten with 73 runs. Conway scored 73 runs off 94 balls. He is batting at 77 strike rate. Tom Latham scored 21 runs. He collected 21 runs off 73 balls. The strike rate is only 28. New Zealand's opening pair started their innings brilliantly. And if the rest of the team's batsmen can maintain this consistency, New Zealand will score at least 400 runs in their first innings. And I guess New Zealand will win the second test like the first match.
It is too early to predict which team will win as it is only day 1. At the moment the Kiwis are in better position than the Srilankan. Unless they get out Devon Conway they would not be able to stop them from scoring a good pile of runs. All Kane Williamson has to do is to rotate the strike and let Conway face the Srilankan bowlers.

I agree that the boorish behavior from the fans have become rare. Not sure whether it is due to fans becoming more mature, or because the Indian police becoming more competent in arresting the culprits. Anyway, we can't blame the fans solely. After all, some of the senior players do behave like monkeys on and off the field. At least some of the fans may get influenced by them. And I am not sure whether the IPL teams have a large fanbase. In India, fandom is mostly based on the player. Some (like Kohli and Rohit) have fans all over India, while some others (including Samson) have fan bases concentrated in certain geographies.

Fans still boo but the place for doing such activities has changed for example sports bars/pubs, clubs and the stadium. We do not hear such noises because broadcasters have been intelligent enough to increase the volume of the stump mic in such a situation. A lot has changed after IPL now fans are more aggressive with franchise team than the national team. One thing I would agree with is that the violence that we used to see earlier against players has now become zero. That does not mean Indians have become tolerant. That means the security cover has improved. Recently Parthiv Patel was in the news because he declined a selfie request from a female fan. He does not have any security from the BCCI or the state government as he is not part of the national team and is also not as big as other players.

After the retirement of West Indies' star players, the overall condition of their team has weakened. The West Indies team can now be considered weak. I would even say that West Indies will lose the series against Afghanistan and Bangladesh. Because there are very few experienced players in their squad at the moment. They will play 3 ODIs and 3 T20 matches against South Africa in this series. And I guess West Indies will lose both series. Despite a good performance in the T20 format, West Indies' chances of winning against South Africa in the ODI format are very slim.

Looks like this match might get abandoned due to rain. Anyways I am not expecting WI to win this ODI. This team has gone from bad to worst and each player looks more like an ameature than a pro in that team. They already got destroyed in the test and most probably the same would happen in the ODI too.

I am eagerly waiting for the ODI series between India and Australia. The first match would be played tomorrow between these two teams at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. After losing the test series Australia would be going all guns blazing to win the ODI series. It would be a practice run for Australia before the upcoming ODIWC. England has already shown the struggle their batters had against the spinners on subcontinent pitches. The same kind of problem was faced by Australia too. It would be interesting to see what new strategy they would use against the Indian spin attack in ODI.

What Bangladesh cricket team has shown to the world this time is really surprising. By winning three consecutive matches against England, they have shown that the Bangladesh Cricket Board has become very strong indeed. It is surprising to hear that a team like England has been whitewashed by Bangladesh. In the beginning, they thought that they can beat Bangladesh very easily, but Bangladesh whitewashed them by destroying all their hopes. Congratulations to Bangladesh Cricket Team.
Absolutely it is really surprising to see Bangladesh comfortably winning the series against England. It also proves that the English batters are not able to handle spinners. This is not a good sign considering the ODI world cup will be played in the subcontinent. I feel most south Asian countries would outperform SENA teams in the upcoming ICC tournament.
1879  Local / India / Re: What topic would encourage Indian board Merit source to get activated? on: March 14, 2023, 04:34:39 PM
The problem with our local board is
1. Less Audience of Active Indians. Accept it or not we have pretty less number of active Indians on the forum who post atleast 10 posts in a week. With less than 15 members of one country i Don't expect this board to flourish.

2. Lack of local discussions on bitcoin. Honestly there aren't a lot of points of discussion on local issues that can keep the board going. Other boards have separate languages so they flourish because people feel easier to communicate in their own language. For us English is infact the most convenient language and we have those discussions easily in common boards.

And moreover even Pakistani boards or Bangladeshi boards will suffer the same end. Bangladeshi might even sustain due to Local Bengali Dialect. Otherwise the low number of users will eventually make local boards less used.
There is zero problem with our board. You commented and others are commenting or trying to create topic relevant to this board. In my opinion it is enough!

The big issue with Indians is that they get an opportunity and then they blow it. For me if I see five guys participating without any raffle or offers on this board. I would support each one of them.

My opinion for support is to encourage them with Merits and in turn they would come up with topics. That is all that matters to me. I am least bothered to think about language issue or anything. English is the most common language in India after Hindi.

There is nothing like a language barrier. If you are not good in English then use Hinglish. The only issue is that we don't have any leader to guide this board. Those who were chosen have left it and now it all depends on us how to get it functional.

I had no idea that you can find gift coupon for everything on Betrifill. I saw they are even selling coupons for Hindustan Petroleum. I am not sure whether you can use them to purchase petrol or disel or gas. At the moment it is out of stock.

The only thing now left is to find a prepaid debit card that can be refilled using crypto and can be used in India.
