Active

What exactly is active?
your site Coinweez.com is definitely not active. it seems that your hosting account has been suspended, you need to check it.

things like this should definitely not happen considering that you are selling advertising space on that page. Who wants to pay for something that won't always be online?

Hahaha! That's hilarious!

OP, you're trying to rent banner space on your site and can't even afford cheap cPanel hosting for it? I know you're trying to make a big impression, but this makes it seem like you're cutting corners at every turn. You're probably using some kind of cheap shared hosting. If you want to make money from your website, then the hosting should be a priority. You can't expect people to view your site if it is offline most of the time or slow to load. It's not exactly going to make people want to do business with you.
1862  Economy / Economics / Re: Decentralised autonomous global government on: October 20, 2022, 10:52:35 PM
... a global government but without the corruption and inefficiency sides.

Well, that would be pretty hard to achieve, I would say.

I think it's fairly safe to say that such a system of governance would be incredibly difficult to create. In fact, I hardly think such a system would be even slightly possible, given the current state of technology and the nature of human beings. However, even if such a system were created and it worked, I doubt that it would be the best form of government for humanity as a whole. As an aside, I don't think there is such thing as "the best form of government." Each system has its own strengths and weaknesses, and what works for one society may not work for another. Of course, I suppose this is only one interpretation. The idea makes for some good philosophical debates, at least.
1863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: October 20, 2022, 10:40:56 PM
The casinos sets the rules of the game, and if a user is smarter enough to find a way to make profit with those rules then they shouldn't block users withdrawals.

So, what do you think about this?

Most casinos have some form of "fair use" clause in their terms of service. This means that if a casino believes a player is abusing their platform, they reserve the right to block or suspend any accounts. These clauses are often vague, so it's hard to know exactly what constitutes as "fair use", but faucet and bonus farming are two forms of abuse that are fairly common and clearly against the rules. While there's nothing wrong with playing the casino games for free, some people will go to great lengths to get as much money out of it as possible. This can include setting up multiple accounts and using them simultaneously, or opening new accounts every time they're blocked so that they can continue farming without having to wait for a cooldown period. Casinos are aware of these tactics, so they often employ algorithms that detect suspicious activity and suspend or ban players who abuse their platform. So it's important to know what qualifies as fair use before you start using a casino's services.
1864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin Survive A Nuclear War? on: October 20, 2022, 10:24:33 PM
The hypothetical question of whether Bitcoin could survive a nuclear attack is really impossible to answer. Both sides of the argument have merit, but it's impossible to know how an extensive nuclear war would affect our society, let alone the technology behind Bitcoin. For example, would it be a limited strike or full-scale? How many nukes are we talking about here? Would it be targeted at financial hubs like New York City or London, or spread out across the globe? Would banks and other financial institutions survive? What would the world economy look like?

Ultimately, the answer is that it's impossible to know. Even if the internet survived a nuclear war, which is very unlikely, there is no way of knowing how much damage would be done to our society and infrastructure.

The size of the shadow cast by an object is the same size as the object regardless of how high it is above the ground. That's because the sun is very far from the earth, so the sun's rays are effectively parallel when they reach the surface of Earth. The only difference you will notice is that the edges of the shadow are less sharp the further away the object is from the surface.

So, if you're the lucky winner of the lambo, remember to cash out your Bitcoin.  Cheesy

Either way @soslex, it's up to you! Do whatever makes you happy. Just remember, you might be sitting on hundreds of thousands of dollars now, but that could be worth a million in no time.

You are too late for that. He already wagered that money again and right after the winning day he was the leader on wagering contest with over 12 btc already wagered. Lolz.
That guys isn’t stopping. I think he already on to the next lambo contest and want to win one more time. Considering the pattern of his playing behaviour it seems he is trying to collect as much RP and Satoshi as he could on daily basis. On one side he keeps winning daily jackpots too so the balance on his account must growing every day. Enthusiastic strategy but still he needs to be careful as it’s aggressive betting.

Yeah. It's been a while since I've been following the daily wagering contest, and this is my first time seeing someone betting so aggressively. He probably has great experience with freebitco.in and knows exactly how freebitco.in algorithm works, and he uses it to his advantage. Just hope he doesn't get too much into the game and don't forget what he is playing for.
1867  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this possible? on: October 20, 2022, 03:01:37 PM
Commercial antivirus software can only do so much to avoid these threats because most of them are designed to be as discreet as possible. Until they are caught in the act by AV software, they can carry out their malicious activities without being detected. All it takes is one bad software or email attachment to infect your computer with malware that could cause serious damage. In order to avoid these kinds of situations and make your Bitcoins or other cryptocurrency even more secure than it is now, first you should use a hardware wallet. A hardware wallet is similar to a software wallet, but unlike it, hardware wallets cannot be easily hacked (as of yet) and they are also immune to keylogging software. In a nutshell, hardware wallets are one of the most secure ways of storing your Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies for many reasons. The main reasons for that are that a hardware wallet can not be hacked remotely and, like I have said before, it is immune to all keylogging software and other malicious scripts. Of course, you may bring your hardware wallet with you wherever you want and you will always have instant access to your Bitcoins and other altcoins stored in it.

Before using the bonus, you can check the rules posted on the main page of the site, where did you see that the bonus dont need  wager?

He didn't say that. He just compared your dishonesty and lack of integrity to some other casino sites that use similar tricks to lure unsuspecting customers.

How can it be a non KYC site where they can ask for KYC from their users anytime?  It frustrates me because I think it's a completely disrespectful speech.  So it will make this casino run for criticism.  And I think no conscious gambler will be interested in gambling here when they understand the difference between KYC and NO KYC.

Yes, that's right. And this is the worst part:

we no have license

Euphoriabet is an illegal gambling site. It does not follow any laws and has no accountability for what it does with your personal information. They could sell it on the black market or use it for all sorts of illegal purposes. As they aren't governed by any laws, they're free to do as they please. Everyone who thinks of trusting this site should be aware of this fact.

Congrats, man! But, I have to say that you are going to look like a huge douchebag driving a Lambo around. I'm so jealous of you.  Cheesy

Few years ago I lost a huge amount of money that I saved for a long time..

If you want to gamble for fun, then go for it! If you wish to gamble your life savings away, then that is also your right to do! Just make sure you understand the risks involved, that you are not gambling with money that you cannot afford to lose and that you are aware of all the facts before you make any decisions. Gambling can be fun and exciting, but it can also be a dangerous and addictive habit. The most important thing is being responsible.
1872  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: October 17, 2022, 09:53:35 PM
Yes I made a typo one ticket 0.0025 Bitcoin when in fact it is 0.00025 Bitcoin that is why my calculations were wrong, nevertheless now that he is someone who has gambled and wagered a huge amount as pointed other by that other user this is a clear example that gambling can change your life for the better in a luck hit hard like this one,of course if this user do not start gambling 10.27 Bitcoin all over again here, that would be insane by him.

Well, for a gambler who was able to wager over 9 BTC in just one day, he probably won't give up his habit easily. With this kind of bankroll, he could almost certainly continue to win different competitions like daily jackpots and the like. While it may have been the better part of valor to cash out on some of his earlier wins in the competition, with a bankroll as large as he had accumulated, he could certainly afford to throw a few Bitcoins away and not even notice.   Wink
Big congrats to the winner!

Now we wait another 6 months for the next draw which is a long time and our focus is on that "worthless" weekly lottery draw every freakin Sunday, worthless in the meaning that is not a life changing event like this one.

That. Although, I would never complain if, after years of waiting, I finally won something at least once in the "worthless" weekly lottery draw.
1873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin's Price be affected by this? on: October 17, 2022, 08:52:24 PM
I can't imagine that this will do anything to help the price of Bitcoin, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on why you think Musk's purchase of Twitter might relate to the Bitcoin cryptocurrency.

I think Twitter and Cryptos are both in separate spaces.
Musk has purchased these for his own benefits. This won’t help the cryptos in any form, until and unless some miracles happens.
Mr Musk also don’t help in any price increase of cryptos, he just creates fake hype for it’s own benefits and sells when the price goes high.
Just a lame tactic to increase his wealth.
Yes he does nothing for short term. The position he took from Doge Coin was profitable for him. Normally he purchases large amounts at low prices and sell at high prices. Investors may not realize it at first, but later they get it. When the investors get to know Elon Musk already he had done what he needed to do. His tweets currently have no value in the crypto market.

Elon Musk has long been a controversial figure. There's no doubt that back in the day he was very influential in the space, bringing much needed attention to the industry. But that was then. Today Musk is irrelevant in crypto, and his recent tweet history only proves this point further. Nowadays, his tweets simply do not move the markets. There are no backed up claims, only baseless speculation that is ultimately uninformative at best, and misleading at worst. And while this fact may disappoint some of his fans and followers, it's simply a reality that those in crypto have to deal with.
1874  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bad advice can still be gotten from forum. on: October 16, 2022, 10:12:03 PM
The bitcointalk.org forum may not be perfect in every way, there are always trolls lurking, but it is an invaluable resource for anyone who is interested in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. The forum is an excellent place to learn more about what it means to be a part of the crypto world, and there are many helpful users who are eager to answer any questions that you may have. It's a place where you can learn about new projects, read the opinions of others, and share your own thoughts on the future of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

Yes, one can get bad advice from the forum, but usually the advice is bad because the person giving it doesn't understand what they are talking about, not because the forum itself is bad.
1875  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT, will somebody tag this man???????? on: October 15, 2022, 10:19:10 PM
if you look at the news of the Bitlucy problem that warms up around June. he should still be active in the campaign. certainly not difficult to find information related to the project.
I looked at his post history (latest 3 ages, starting from January this year).
He is more frequent in Collectibles. Few posts in service, mostly in signature campaign application. I guess two posts in meta and few in bitcoin discussion, few in gambling boards. This is one of those users who does not have any interest of what is going on in other boards except they are regular in the board they found there place.

Don't expect every single forum member to know what is going on in the community even it this is the topic of the town. They are still unaware.

Well, he signed up to promote the site through his signature. I think it would be fair to say that he has a responsibility to at least know what is going on with his current campaign. According to his post history, it seems that he knew that he no longer had to write a certain number of posts per week to meet the quota, so he may have simply forgotten to remove the ad from his signature.
1876  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: October 15, 2022, 09:59:31 PM
<...>

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, and I'd love to help get things sorted. But 1xbit is a scam gambling site with a very bad reputation all over the Internet. The owners of this site will just take your deposit, and they will refuse to pay out claiming that you were wrong when placing a bet.

I am strongly recommending you to never use this gambling site again because it is unlicensed, unregulated, and unsafe. You will not receive your winnings, and your personal information might be compromised as well. I hope that from this experience, you'll have learned to always check out new websites before sending any funds their way.
1877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I find way to win on dice on: October 15, 2022, 09:51:44 PM
I followed this strategy in many times specially in CASINO but i lost big amount of money, because you can't win every bet. Even i waited 15 times then i have no dollar to bet for next one, as a result i lost everything. So, i would like to recommend don’t start bet with big amount like 20$, you can start 1$ if you have big amount then start 5$-10$. There is a high possibility of losing everything if you get too greedy.

Martingale is not a good system because when you think about it, there is always a chance to lose, and when you do, the loss will be greater than your previous winnings. This means that over time, you will lose more than you win. The only reason why this system can seem like it works is because people tend to have winning streaks and losing streaks—but the Martingale system won’t help you avoid losing streaks.
1878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Survey] Do you still play or stop the game? on: October 15, 2022, 09:38:46 PM
Most likely I will continue to play this game. Many gamblers who were winning may not want to stop their winning streak. This is the reason why they continue their bets even if the odds are not in their favor anymore. They will just keep playing until they lose all of their winnings and sometimes even more.
1879  Economy / Gambling / Re: GXGBet.com | GXGCoin.io - Leading DeFi Gaming Site Needs You 😎 on: October 15, 2022, 09:24:50 PM
Experienced gamblers know which websites they should gamble on. No need to go far, there are many casinos in this forum who are doing their business with integrity. The problem arises with inexperienced gamblers who are lured by various offers and fall into fake websites.

I agree. Finding a good online casino is never an easy task, especially if it is your first time. Sometimes it is hard to determine if a casino is fake or not. With the many new players that are in the online gambling industry, it can be hard for people to identify whether or not a casino is legit by simply looking at its website. In fact, if you don't know where to look, you might just miss out on finding out details about the legitimacy of a casino. The key for players is research. The online casino industry is a complex one. There are certain rules that need to be adhered to before becoming a customer of any online casino and understanding these will go a long way in ensuring you find the right casino.

1880  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: October 15, 2022, 09:07:25 PM
Seems like they had forgotten their ANN thread and never made out some announcement for such changes.

what makes me sad is that at first when casinos appear here on the forum and they are new and without customers they are very active on the forum but when they realize that they already have a considerably large number of customers they disappear from the forum, I don't understand why they do that
Maybe they had just spend their allocated budget for marketing and never intend nor plan on continuing it and since they do get sufficient numbers or simply satisfies with the result of their marketing then

they have decided to completely stop.Yes, its sad but this is their own way on how to handle up things. As long they are making revenue on the current being then its their right

whether they would really be continuing to have some exposure on this forum or would just remain still on what they've been doing.

The point, I believe, is that certain casinos aren't interested in marketing on Bitcointalk because they're already profitable. But in marketing, the more you try, the better results you'll get. Many casinos believe that no longer posting any promotion on the forum is correct, since they already have many customers and don't need them. But it is exactly the opposite. On the forum a casino can attract new players and thereby increase their turnover.
