Judging the way some casinos offer fairly quick withdrawal in BTC, I would assume they keep a good percentage of money in BTC.

Yes, that may be true. But there are services for such things. Payment providers. Today, anyone can accept deposits and pay out cryptocurrencies, regardless of their base currency.

Very humorous answer, I also want to contact the developers, but they are all anonymous. If you have time, you can tell them for me. I will prepare an extra 5,000 US dollars for them every day.hahhahah

Why do you say that all Telegram developers are anonymous?

For the rest of your post, I call bullshit. Even if someone were willing to work with you, how could they trust you? Are you willing put the money where your mouth is and to use a reputable escrow?

I think all casinos convert cryptocurrencies into stablecoins or fiat immediately after deposit. At least those whose base currency is USD or EUR or some other fiat currency. Those whose primary currency is Bitcoin should keep their reserves also in Bitcoin so that the exchange rate change does not affect their business either. 1 BTC = 1 BTC.
1684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 19, 2022, 09:24:12 PM
The odds are so interesting in this case but when I look at Ecuador's odds and odds, I prefer to be in Ecuador's betting on this.
Even though Qatar is definitely in full support but seeing their condition with Ecuador I feel this will be a win for Ecuador.
Odds conditions of 3.10 for a draw are indeed very good but seeing that Ecuador's odds are quite good now with their condition which incidentally is better, I personally prefer to take the risk of being in Ecuador.

The seemingly weak team facing an apparent favorite to win is not a foreign concept in world sports.  That being said, sports betting is always a risk, the odds are never certain, but in this case it seems like Ecuador is the better team, and given their roster and players they should come out on top. In the end, it will be interesting to see which team is able to rise to the occasion. What is certain is that there will be plenty of excitement and drama, because this is the World Cup after all.

yes,

OWL.games don't lie, I lost most of my winnings,

and congratulations to them, they won. A basic casino tactic is to not pay out the winnings and let gambler play until the winnings are lost.

A terrible turn of events, but I don't think they forced you to keep gambling. It's a bit of a shame you were dragged into it, but considering the circumstances I think it's safe to say that it's entirely your fault. You didn't have to give in to temptation.

but there are many more interesting details..  Grin

This morning I was contacted by OWL.games support stating that I need to sign a contract if I want my payout to be approved. in which I undertake to delete negative comments. Are you serious?

I don't want to play devil's advocate here, but those seem like reasonable terms. Why would you have an issue with that?
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 19, 2022, 07:21:19 PM
Ronaldo turned down a 350 million two year contract from Saudi Arabia! That is quite a statement and also allows us to come up with an idea about how much money he might have in the bank. Tongue He was asked about that as well and he answered that his money in the bank might be as high as his follow count on Instagram. Cheesy

This is definitely an insane offer to hear about. However it isn't too hard to predict the reason why Ronaldo has turned down this enormous offer. Because he wants to continue to compete in the Champions League so he wants to go to a team competing there. When it comes to the money, he must already have no problem about it. He just wants to continue to play competitive in Europe that's all. This has been one of the reasons why he has wanted to leave Manchester United.

After the recent incidents between him and his team I assume he will definitely leave in January. I've already heard that Manchester United are trying to part their ways with Ronaldo legally as quick as possible.

I think at this point, we all understand that Cristiano Ronaldo does not care about money that much anymore.

The thing he cares about the most is his legacy. And the problem is his time with Manchester United is not good at all. After what he did, there is no question that he is not going to stay in Manchester United, regardless of whether he finds a really good team or not.

Obviously Manchester United is going to part ways with Cristiano Ronaldo as soon as possible because he is basically a problem creator for them right now and it is better for them that he leaves. No more getting exposed without Cristiano Ronaldo I guess.

It's a pity, because it means the end of the circus with a worn-out Ronaldo on the field in a Manchester United shirt. It was nice to see him in the Premier League as lost, powerless and frustrated as he wanders around the field like a ghost, trying to find his place. He "knows" that he can play football at the "highest possible level", others don't understand that so they make fun of him on the field, he is furious because he can't prove to them how much they all are below him, they don't understand again so they wonder what the worn-out Ronaldo is looking for on the field. Cheesy It's even more of a shame that no one from the top 5 Euro leagues seems to be interested in him anymore. So let's watch the continuation of this drama, in which worn-out Ronaldo, once a great presence on the football field, is now reduced to a sad spectacle.

I have needed to complete a full KYC to withdraw 0.01 BTC.

Are you referring to Roobet casino? That's strange because their customer support states that Level 1 KYC is enough for most players. Was that your first withdrawal or have you made some withdrawals before? If it was your first withdrawal, you may have been asked to provide additional information to verify your identity because it's possible that you didn't pass the first KYC (automated one), which is why they asked for additional information for manual review.

Hello, @Pablo-wood! Welcome to our forum.

Yes, people definitely need to keep their money in their own wallets. "Just because you can store your coins in a crypto exchange doesn't mean you should." It is easy to become comfortable with leaving all your coins on an exchange for trading purposes, but I beg you not to. And there are a number of reasons why you shouldn't. First and foremost, if the site gets hacked, you'll lose all your money. Second, if regulators decide to crack down on these exchanges for any reason (or for no reason at all), they could be shut down and you'd lose access to your money. And finally, if the exchange itself goes bankrupt or decides to shut down without any warning whatsoever, you'll be stuck with absolutely nothing.
1689  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 18, 2022, 09:39:48 PM
Does your casino have id verification when withdrawing winnings?

Roobet has four-step KYC verification. For deposits and withdrawals only the first level is required. For level two and three, you need to provide proof of identity by uploading documents. The live support says that most players only need do the Level 1 KYC.

Quote
Step one verification: - KYC
Step one verification is a simple KYC (Know your customer), which every user and customer must do when signing up to the website before making the first withdrawal or deposit, as recommended in Directive 2018/843. Disregarding the payment choice, the amount of payment, the amount of withdrawing, the choice of withdrawing, and the nationality of the user or customer, step one verification must be done before any withdrawal or deposit, or other transaction can be made.

Step one verification is an online document that must be filled out by the user or customer faithfully. The following information must be filled in: first name, second name, date of birth, country of usual residence, and email. We may require the phone number additionally.

In case of misinformation or unfaithful filing, the Company may hold the funds until the KYC is approved. We might ask you to do steps two and three Verification (AML 1 and AML 2) before withdrawing any funds if you filled in intentionally wrong information in the KYC online document or close the account entirely, locking all funds permanently.

The Roobet technical support will randomly perform crosschecks to ensure the entered address matches the IP address's location. If the IP address location does not match the given address, the Company may lock the account for further investigation and request steps two and three Verification (AML 1 and AML 2). The Company will perform additional checks based on the situation, including, but not limited to, crosschecking for open sanctions and connections to illegal or fraudulent actions.

I'm just reading most of the posts on this page and it's like that most of it should be discussed on the gambling discussion and not on the actual thread of betfury.

IMHO, it should be maintained and kept for discussing betfury related concerns and queries and not mainly about gambling addiction. Like about BFG or anything as in talks which are the topics related to the name itself.

Yes, I'm sure you've noticed that there is a lot of "that" going around here. That's just how it is.
You're right though, most of it should be discussed on the general gambling discussion threads. Perhaps it is best to report such posts to the moderators as off-topic.
1691  Economy / Gambling / Re: I won 1500 dollars on a ufc fight + quit gambling on: November 18, 2022, 08:56:59 PM
What you made was your luck
Don't try your luck every now and then because you'll lose in the end. That's every average gambler's experience that they win huge first, then they think that they're lucky enough to play and win and then they lose a lot more than they have actually won.

Do you think that he or she will listen to your advice and quit gambling? Never, he will never do it.

Gambling is like addiction and especially when you have won some big amount, your urge to play gambling increases. Humans are greedy and lazy by default. Winning in gambling is the most easiest thing and even the laziest person will want to earn money via gambling which involves no hard work.

You are right. You can tell an addicted gambler to stop gambling, but that's not going to work. And, yes, I think the OP has a problem with compulsive gambling. He shows many of the symptoms typical in someone who has a gambling problem: attention hungry, lying, inability to set a budget or stick with it, needs more and more money to get the same thrill, says he can stop anytime but doesn't, and so on… it's clear that he has no control over his behavior. I think the guy should see a therapist who understands compulsive gambling and has experience treating such disorders.
1692  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Curious to know about the UseCase on: November 17, 2022, 11:31:55 PM
Bitcoin is a method of payment like a credit card or Paypal and works as a medium of exchange. People can use it to conduct a transaction instantly in any place in the world where there is internet and because of decentralization, it allows consumers total freedom and protection from fraud. I believe the best use case that bitcoin and other digital currencies have is simply being an alternative to fiat currency. Since governments have a stranglehold on our monetary systems, cryptocurrencies can disrupt and change the way we handle wealth, money, and transactions as a whole.

I read some incredible comments in this thread by people who has absolutely no clue :-) Exit scam of the casino... What ?

In regards to all the blatant copycats I can say only one thing, stay away. I opened this website "punt" and this is nearly a copyright infringement in my humble opinion. A business that cannot invest in it's own original design is simply laughable, the person who came here to this forum to promote this joke of a website should be ashamed of himself

Well said. I'm no expert, so I don't know how far copyright infringement goes and where inspiration ends and plagiarism begins. But from what I've seen, it's clear that Punt.com is using a lot of the same graphics and themes as Stake.com. I've even uploaded a few screenshots for a side-by-side comparison here, for anyone interested. In fact, if I didn't know better, I would assume that Punt.com was simply a re-branding of Stake.com with a new name and some minor changes to the design. What I find most ridiculous is that Punt.com seems to be trying to pass itself off as an "original", even though it's clearly a clone of Stake.
1695  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun | Live tables | Baccarat |Slots| InstantWithraw on: November 16, 2022, 09:03:06 PM
On the top of the website there is a lightning icon and it shows "coming soon" when I click on it. I'm curious to know what it's used for. Are you planning to accept lightning payments by any chance?
Coming soon is showing in several places for example on the icon on lighting, the icon on notification, if click on the wallet, and later on bonus coin/free spins. There might have many other places where there is a showing coming soon. So, I think there are several options coming on. We need to wait for the update.

I also noticed that the blue thunder icon and "Coming soon" appeared after the UI was refreshed. It appears to be related to features that have been added but are not yet available, like notifications. They are probably still in the test phase and will be made available to everyone after that.

Good job, Blackjack.fun, by the way! I really like your new design.
1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad beginning for crypto beginners. on: November 16, 2022, 08:44:21 PM

Beginners with the mindset of taking crypto trading as a job opportunity:  some beginners thinks crypto can cover up the space of getting  a job. It is wrong to plan of making cryptocurrency a source of income as a beginner.  It is important to have emergency fund while Investing in crypto.

I don't understand the context of this paragraph. Normally, crypto provides jobs for people, if a beginner have got skills like; data analysis, programming, content creation etc, that fits in a cryptocurrency firm looking for his potentials, then its not a wrong move if he applies and gets employed. And he/she doesn't need cash to get employed. The only investment required here is time which matters in every field.

It would be better if you specified what part of cryptocurrency a beginner shouldn't take as a job opportunity. Like I did above.

All am saying is that it is not ideal for a beginner to depend on crypto as a source of income. Their maybe some established traders/investors  that crypto  become a job that brings income. If a beginner reasons to make crypto as a source of income,  then such person will be full of expectations,  so desperate to make profit all time.

The answer depends on what kind of job it is. "Crypto as a source of income" is a very broad term that can include all different kinds of work depending on what you can do. Crypto is an exciting field to be in, and something we predict will continue to grow in the coming years. The technology is developing fast, and I expect that more jobs will be popping up surrounding it as people realize just how important this field is to the future of many industries. For example, if you have programming or other technical skills, there are plenty of websites where you can find short-term jobs working on cryptocurrency projects. Or if you have a service that other people are willing to pay for, then it might be worth starting your own business and reaching out directly to those customers (and charge for it directly in crypto).

All we're saying is that you should consider crypto-related business beyond just trading. In the end, there are many different kinds of jobs out there, both in and outside the world of crypto. You just need to find one that's right for you.
1697  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your screen time on: November 16, 2022, 08:15:56 PM
Yeah. Prolonged exposure to screens is nothing new and there's still a lot of debate as to what extent it affects our health. But even if the dangers aren't as serious as they once were believed to be, great eye strain is still no fun, so we definitely shouldn't take it lightly. So if you notice that your eyes are acting up, let them relax for a little while. Your eyes will thank you later. When in doubt, take a break from your screen and rest your fatigued peepers. Cut back on eye strain. Add some Omega 3s to your diet, get some exercise and sunlight, and you'll be good as new!  Cheesy
1698  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I hope it's finally over for CEXs on: November 16, 2022, 07:19:20 PM
Sorry to say this but I don't think exchanges are really in a danger of collapsing as well. You see, professional traders use exchanges, miners use exchanges and even casual users like me use some exchanges. I have several wallets, but since I'm not a big holder so used to keep some of my funds on Binance. But it was an eye opener for me when I saw what the FTX exchange was doing with the money. They were using it to make money on their own! I'm not sure if this is legal or not but it's certainly not ethical. I'm sure there are other exchanges out there doing the same thing.

I have always traded on Binance and was never really worried about my funds, but this event has made me change my mind. The first thing that occurred to me was how easy it was to lose everything! This is why I advise new traders to start small and keep their funds safe until they learn how the game works. Don't put all your eggs in one basket and never leave funds on an exchange that you don't use for trading.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bought 8000 lottery tickets on: November 15, 2022, 12:06:54 AM
Costs only 0.1 $ ticket
8000 ticketsc for 800$

What my odda to get 6 numbers?

https://ibb.co/kcJMM2b
That depends, i would need to know how how high those ball numbers go. I know by looking that there are 5 normal lottery balls and one extra but i can't find the numbers with a quick glance.

If someone isn't busy and knows how high those ball numbers go they can calculate it: https://www.wikihow.com/Calculate-Lotto-Odds

To win in the lottery jackpot you must choose a sequence of 5 numbers correctly from the sequence from 1 to 36 and one number from the sequence from 1 to 10.

I think the math would go like this:
1/36 * 1/35 * 1/34 * 1/33 * 1/32 = 1/45239040

But since you can choose your numbers in any order, there are more possible combinations and therefore a slightly greater chance of winning. A sequence of 5 numbers can be written down in 5! (5 factorial) different ways, so there are 120 different combinations of tickets with 5 correct numbers. When we divide 45239040 by 120 to account for this, we get 376992. So, the chance of hitting 5 correct numbers from the sequence 1 to 36 is 1 in 376992.

The chance of hitting the last number is 1/10, so if I did my math right, your overall chance of winning the jackpot would be 1 in 3,769,920.

Cristiano Ronaldo has given an explosive interview with Piers Morgan for TalkTV released by The Sun on Sunday night, criticising Manchester United and Erik ten Hag. Ronaldo: "Disrespectful Manchester United have betrayed me. I've been made black sheep. I don't respect Erik ten Hag". He also said there has been "zero progress" at the club since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in the summer of 2013.
