1181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: IS IT SAFE TO INVEST PENSION FUNDS IN BITCOIN? on: April 22, 2023, 07:02:16 PM
I spoke to a friend about Bitcoin and he asked if it is safe to invest Pension funds in Bitcoin considering the fact that this is a retirement saving.<...>

If he has to ask, I'd say no. Not because I don't think bitcoin is a safe investment, but because I don't think he's ready to take that kind of risk.

While I am relatively new to this field, I've met many people who have asked a similar question. From my experience, I've learned that it is best to exercise caution while giving investment advice. I'm sure you've heard the saying: "Do your research". It holds true in this context as well.

martyns account woke up and changed password in May 2022. In November of the same year he used this BSC address in BetFury.io signature campaign: 0xAe19392AAa7d0Ed901e44766FA502656f7E21173 - link.

The same BSC address was used a year before by the BlackViruse in the TFStoken bounty campaign. The post was later deleted, but we can see it in the archive: https://ninjastic.space/post/57545319

Today
Borussia Dortmund - Eintracht Frankfurt = 1 (1.65x)
I dont think Dortmund will do two bad games in a row.

I would say that Borussia has a good chance of winning their match against Eintracht. Although they had a disappointing result in their previous game, Dortmund has a strong team and the home advantage, which could work in their favor. Taking a glance at the stats, in the last 53 matches, Borussia Dortmund has won 29 times, with 13 draws and 11 wins for Eintracht. Borussia also holds a considerable goal difference of 109-61 in their favor. Out of the last 25 matches where Borussia played at home, they have won 20 times.

So, the same individual behind previous Pnxbet / Kawbet scams now attempting to start a new casino? It's truly amazing how these scammers just keep coming up with new (old) ways to rob people blind. It's like they're recycling old scams and hoping no one notices.

Don't fall for the same old tricks from the same old scammers, guys!
1185  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: April 22, 2023, 01:16:12 PM
"How does AI gambling sound?" - I don't want to offend anyone, but I think it sounds stupid.

The whole "charm" of gambling is that it happens live, in the real world. Of course, the world is changing and technology is even penetrating into this area (for example, online poker), but nothing can replace a "live" game with live players or real horses, as in your example. The atmosphere of the event is important for the gamblers, including: the hippodrome, horse races, horses, bets, a lot of unforeseen circumstances that affect the final result of the games. All this adds a special charm to these gambling games, which are not so easy to refuse. But over time, more and more gambling will be held in the virtual world, this is indisputable, because the whole world is rapidly digitalizing. Therefore, the transfer of gambling to the metaverse is quite possible and I think your dream can come true. Maybe even very soon.

As I see it, AI gamblng could offer some unique advantages. For example, it could enable game developers to create completly new types of games that arent possible in the physical world. AI gambling, with the use of machine learning algorithms, could also offer personalized experiences for each player, based on their individual preferences and betting habits. For example, AI could analyze vast amounts of data on players past behavior and use that to create tailored gameplay experiences that are more engaging and enjoyable for each individual player. It could also offer more precise and accurate odds calculations in sports betting, which could potentially make gambling fairer and more transparent.

Anyway, i think there is still so much more to discover in terms of how AI can be utilized in the gambling industry, no matter what direction it takes in the future.

This is just about give some betting tips no mather league or sport to all the other people on the forum  Smiley

I'm not sure if having a thread for sharing tips across all leagues and sports would be beneficial. Many gamblers prefer to focus on the sports and leagues they know best. That's probably why we have multiple threads in the Gambling discussion. But, it could be interesting to explore both options and see what works best for our community.
1187  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I buy bitcoin as a newbie? on: April 19, 2023, 07:39:41 PM
That's why it's always important to be careful when buying Bitcoin. There are unfortunately a lot of scammers out there trying to take advantage of people's lack of knowledge. I've heard some horror stories about people losing their life savings to crypto scams. I suggest researching the platform thoroughly before making any transactions. It's also helpful to seek advice from experienced investors or join a community of like-minded individuals, like this forum, who can provide support and guidance.

OP, I noticed that you suggested using the bitcoin.com exchange, but I think there are better options available. It's a good idea to ask around in your local community to find the most reputable and suitable crypto exchange for your specific location and needs. Factors such as the availability of fiat deposits and other specifics may vary depending on your location.
1188  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin to cash with simple steps. on: April 19, 2023, 07:25:16 PM
4. Seek out a Bitcoin ATM.

Depending on the country and the amounts in discussion, these can be a fair option for those keen to stay anonymous, just... they're pricey. The fees are big. Sometimes a bit too big.

Apart from Bitcoin ATMs, there are also physical exchanges that allow for the conversion of cryptocurrency to fiat currency, depending on the country. Some of these exchanges even offer daily transactions without KYC verification for certain amounts, and their fees are generally lower compared to those of ATMs.
1189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do bitcoins on exchanges come from ? on: April 18, 2023, 10:27:03 PM
You don't need to worry about whether the bitcoin you buy on an exchange is "legit" or "dirty." In fact, the whole concept of "dirty" bitcoin is overblown and largely a myth perpetuated by those looking to create fear and uncertainty around cryptocurrency.

First of all, while there have been some instances of bitcoin being used for illegal activities, such as money laundering or drug trafficking, this is no different from any other currency. The reality is that the vast majority of criminal activities still use cash, not bitcoin.

Second, the vast majority of CEXs have strict regulatory requirements that they must follow to prevent illegal activities. This includes performing KYC checks on their customers and monitoring transactions for suspicious activity. If a CEX is found guilty of money laundering, they can be fined and shut down by the financial authorities. In fact, the requirements for CEXs to prevent money laundering and other illegal activities are often stricter than those of many banks.
1190  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 18, 2023, 08:53:02 PM
The easiest is Bitcoin and choosing Bitcoin will give the winner the opportunity to get a prize greater than $200K (hence the value of lambo as a prize) because the value of BTC may increase in the near future while choosing lambo will only make the winner spend extra funds for everything until the lambo arrives at home

Yup, claiming physical rewards, especially something like an expensive car, is highly impractical. That's why I think it's all more of a marketing play and that freebitco.in are probably not even prepared for anyone opting for anything other than bitcoins.
And I am also guessing that if the winner opt for the car itself instead of the money value, I bet that lambo will cost way more than $200,000 to buy and ship to the winner's country of residence, except the car is a used one which I don't believe it should be.

I'm not sure about that. I think a brand new Lamborghini Huracan Evo base model is right around $200,000 (MSRP). Of course, the price depends on the location, but I doubt that there would be a problem with delivery since Lamborghini has its sales representatives all over the world.
1191  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: April 18, 2023, 08:38:55 PM
I have no idea about AI powered horses and horse racing, but if I may give my opinion on this:

Do you think that gambling have a place with the metaverse in the future? I had a dream about being able to gamble online with people that aren't living close to me, we meet in the metaverse and it looks real, I know that sometimes when you think positively about something it is possible to dream about it.

Definitely! I can totally see how gambling could be a thing in the metaverse in the future. With all these cool new virtual reality technologies coming out, it's getting easier and easier to make virtual environments where people can hang out and do stuff together. I think gambling would be a great thing to do in a metaverse, especially if it's built on top of existing gambling platforms. Gambling is already a very popular activity, and I can see it being even more so in the future. So I think it's definitely something that could be huge in the metaverse.

Well, well, well, a Brand new account asking for a loan? Nice try, buddy! But sorry, I think you might be a bit too green to get any takers here. You see, it's like the old saying, "you have to have money to make money." In this case, you need to have some reputation on the forum to get a loan. Better luck next time, OpportunityWasted!  Cheesy
1193  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What kind of Wallets are used by an Exchange? on: April 18, 2023, 04:13:19 PM
What is SERP? when I google it, I find Shibarium Perpetuals as the top result.
<...>

LOL! I think you have to consider the context in which the abbreviation was used. Cheesy

If you looked it up on Google, you would have gotten a SERPs as a result, since I think "SERP" stands for "Search Engine Results Pages" in this context.
1194  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need to get to the bottom of this myself on: April 17, 2023, 09:55:51 PM
Can a random human who knows too less about a crypto wallet detect if it's open source or closed source? If yes please share me a way,

Finding out if a software is open source or not is not always easy. One way to do it is by checking the provider's website or documentation. The developers usually mention if it's open source or not in the license. If you can't find the info there, you can try looking for discussions or questions about the source code on online forums or related communities.  Just keep in mind that even if the source code isn't on GitHub (although most open source software is) it can still be open source, or if the software has its own GitHub repo, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's open source. So, it's not always a straightforward answer.

I am tired of people saying a wallet is open source and some other are arguing that it's closed source, I need to get things done myself.

It's perfectly fine to learn how to do things by yourself, but it's equally okay to listen to the opinions of others. People with diverse expertise may know better than us in many areas. For instance, if your car breaks down, would you attempt to repair it yourself or consult a licensed mechanic? It's crucial to acknowledge when we require assistance and seek it from those who have the requisite abilities and knowledge.

1195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many people are having bitcoin? on: April 17, 2023, 09:34:32 PM
I read a story of a man threw away is hard drive with almost 7,500 bitcoin on it, then later realised that it worth huge amount of money which he is trying to get back the drive which he found difficult. Now my question is that does it mean all this 7,500 bitcoin are gone completely?
If the Hard drive cannot be recovered, the Bitcoin is lost forever.

But is the man uninformed about Bitcoin? or he is unaware of the Bitcoin on the hard drive?

If he actually buys the Bitcoin, I believe he should be able to tell that it is still there, and he should be checking the Bitcoin Market since he has invested in Bitcoin.

Oh, I think I know what the OP is talking about! It's that crazy story about the guy who threw out some old hard drives, and they ended up in a dump. But then he wanted to dig them up again, so he asked the government for permission. Apparently, he was one of the bitcoin miners from the old days, and those hard drives had a whole bunch of them on there.

Can it be possible to know the people the are in position of all the bitcoin in circulation or know the number of units in total circulation?

OP, we can't really tell if some bitcoins are lost forever or not. Even if they don't move from a particular address for ten or more years, that still doesn't mean those bitcoins will never be in circulation again.
1196  Economy / Gambling / Re: $100 to $2519 on Strikebits.com today! on: April 17, 2023, 08:55:05 PM
<...>
I don't really know what that means, but if someone can educate me on if that sounds accurate I would be greatful to know before I deposit again.

Hey OP, it seems pretty obvious that you're not being honest with us here. Whether you own the casino or not, your behavior has already made us lose trust in that site. So, you don't really need to try and convince us - that's their job, not yours. The fact that you're getting so defensive and pushy about this just makes us even more suspicious.

So, it's clear that this casino is not to be trusted, and your insistence on defending it is not doing you any favors. In fact, it only makes us even more convinced that there's something shady going on. So, it's probably best to just move on from this and find a more reputable casino to patronize.
1197  Economy / Gambling / Re: $100 to $2519 on Strikebits.com today! on: April 16, 2023, 09:17:54 PM
If they're a scam they aren't very good they just lost $2419. There is no minimum deposit and it is provably fair. Before you call anything a scam be sure of it.

Well, the fact that the site is just two weeks old and you are a brand new user on this forum raises some red flags. It's not uncommon for scammers to create fake sites, lure people in with promises of big payouts, and disappear with the money.

I take it you are unable to attach some verifiable proof, like a blockchain transaction, instead of just screenshots that can be easily faked?
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About football betting on: April 16, 2023, 06:34:34 PM
I think you are partially right, but there are a few more things to consider. In sports betting, like betting on the outcome of a football match, you basically guess the outcome of the match and place your bet on it. The bookmaker sets the odds based on various factors such as team performances, injuries and other relevant information. However, the bookmaker still wants to make a profit, so it slightly adjusts the odds in its favor. This means that they will always make money in the long run, regardless of who was the winner. So even though the betting platform cannot directly control the outcome of the game, they can still influence the odds to ensure a profit.
1199  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to be more useful in this forum on: April 15, 2023, 08:05:43 PM
I don't know why do people overcomplicate stuffs like this. It's a forum for discussions, OP.
This is not a workplace for that word "productivity". It's like saying how to be productive in social media sites like Reddit and Twitter.

Well, some folks here treat this forum exactly like that - like their workplace, especially those coming from third world countries (not throwing shade at anyone). But hey, who can blame them? You know, some of the payouts for signature campaigns here exceed the minimum wage of many countries. It's pretty wild when you think about it!

Just contribute to discussion/threads/boards by giving ideas or insight legitimately from you and that's how you "contribute".

Honestly, his concept of "contribution" is pretty messed up, if you ask me.  Wink

1200  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 15, 2023, 07:37:58 PM
Yeah! Congrats to the lucky winner - 6.5 BTC is a sweet haul.

I tried searching for UID 16840193 on the forum, but nothing came up. So we don't know if the winner is someone from here unless they speak up themselves. If it were me, I wouldn't want to reveal my identity either. Some things are better kept under wraps, you know?

Well, speaking up on this forum as a winner of this seasons lambo giveaway from FreeBitco.in isn't revealing your identity I suppose, simply because the forum also holds users privacy to high esteem, except if there is an individual or persons on this forum who know you in person, and you wouldn't want them to know you just won yourself a lambo, then you can create a new bitcointalk account and announce your winning from there, this way, your privacy is preserved.

Well, I disagree. While it's true that this forum takes user privacy seriously, there's still a risk that someone could figure out who the winner is based on the information shared. It's always better to err on the side of caution when it comes to personal information. Plus, not everyone is comfortable sharing that kind of information with a large group of strangers online, even if they're anonymous.

Anyway, there's no right or wrong answer here, just personal preference.
