1481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: January 16, 2023, 09:20:42 PM
The main reason people HODL is because they believe in the long-term potential of the project and technology behind the cryptocurrency. This strategy is based on the idea that the market will eventually recover and the value of the asset will increase. This means that if you HODL at a time when the price is low, you can expect to make a profit when the prices go back up. However, it's important to note that HODLing isn't a foolproof method for success. In fact, this method is often criticized by investors who believe in more active trading strategies.
1482  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A good way to promote Bitcoin or not? on: January 16, 2023, 08:24:40 PM
Accepting Bitcoin as a payment option for your store could be a great way to attract customers who prefer using cryptocurrency as a form of payment, while also promoting the use of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in your community. The popularity of cryptocurrencies is growing, and many people are looking for ways to use them as payment methods. Not only does it provide more options for your customers, but it also gives you access to a wider base of potential buyers. It's an opportunity for you to stand out and offer a unique service to your customers.
1483  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I feel happy on: January 16, 2023, 06:44:56 PM
Great news! Your investment did well! I'm happy for you. It's not always easy to invest, but it's good to have a supportive community to share our thoughts and ideas. But, sometimes, our investments don't do as well as we'd hoped. Many times they even lose money. Well, it's important to remember that investing is part art and part science. There are some things we can control and some things that are out of our hands.

Good luck with your investments!

I check their TOS and can't find any information regarding this x3 withdrawal rollover. Can you clarify this op, is it really true?

I'm not sure if they've since altered their terms of service, but according to a review on btcgosu.com, there used to be such a requirement.

There is still a mention of the x3 rollover requirement on deposits, but in the context of processing fees. Basically, they reserve the right to charge you a fee even for depositing funds:

Please note that if You requested a withdrawal, but the sum of bets made since last deposit is less than three (3) times the size of that deposit, We reserve the right to charge You the costs of transaction processing for deposit and withdrawals. This decision is at sole discretion of the Company.
1485  Economy / Gambling / Re: Recommendations for Real Cryptocurrency Casinos on: January 15, 2023, 12:27:27 PM
I don't think a literate person should think much about this because it's all about betting and the right calculation/exchange, and whether it's Bitcoin or fiat, it doesn't matter. The value of the wager itself shouldn't be the reason why anyone should be scared to use crypto, this is about simple calculations, and the betting will all be risked correctly.

Well, I strongly disagree. This is a BitcoinTalk forum, and we are discussing cryptocurrency casinos. So why should I even be concerned with fiat currencies? If I deposit Bitcoin, I want to play with Bitcoin and I want to receive my winnings in Bitcoin. If a casino cannot provide that, it should not be considered a cryptocurrency casino.

at stake when the person makes a deposit in cryptocurrencies, even when playing with cryptocurrencies the person can see that every time the price of that same cryptocurrency drops or rises the balance of your account at stake.com also fluctuates depending on that price movement, with that you can see that they don't convert to fiat, at least that's what I've noticed, because it's happened to me many times that I won a bet but because the price of bitcoin or litecoin dropped a lot so my winnings were reduced or my balance was reduced Of course, it has an advantage when the price of bitcoin or litecoin goes up a lot. in any case, I think that having many accounts in casinos is also a big risk of having to kyc in many casinos

Thank you for your input, this is exactly the type of response that I would like to see more of in this topic.

Has anyone else had similar experiences? Can anyone confirm this?
1486  Other / Meta / Re: Cybersecurity subforum on: January 15, 2023, 11:57:30 AM
A board dedicated to cybersecurity discussions? Yes please!

But, it's ultimately up to the administrators of this forum to decide whether or not to have a cybersecurity board. They may have their own reasons for not adding one, such as a lack of interest from the community. They might also consider the existing boards and if the topic is already being covered.
1487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Automated Checkout For Wordpress Does This Exist? on: January 15, 2023, 09:18:35 AM
First, you should explain your requirements in more detail. You mention BTCPay Server, but after that point you mention USDT cryptocurrency. BTCPay Server is an open-source Bitcoin payment processor which allows you to accept bitcoin payments. USDT is an altcoin and it is not supported by BTCPay Server no matter which wallet you use.

Why not simply accept Bitcoin payments and later convert them to stablecoin if that is your preference?
1488  Economy / Gambling / Re: New casino BTC game development on: January 15, 2023, 08:29:52 AM
I don`t think that it is good deal. The price is small enough but you get script without any guarantees from the OP. If i remember right, it is the standard price to the basic casino script. I don`t see here smth unusual that makes me risk buying script from the unknown programmer.
PS. It doesn`t mean that the OP is the cheater. But i think he need to get some reputation firstly.

I completely agree with your concerns. It's not worth taking the risk on a script with no guarantees from the seller. The price may be low, but it's not worth the potential headaches and disappointment if the script doesn't meet your expectations or worse, doesn't work at all. However, if the script turns out to be legit and the seller is willing to provide support in the future, then it's worth considering. The only way to make sure that your casino script is going to be a good investment in the long run is by doing thorough research before buying it. Make sure you understand how online casinos work and what you're getting into before you spend money on anything.

My man, you did get me wrong, maybe i should have chosed different title. Im against these sites that contain all the private information, against people who "hunt" dorment accounts, i say it for a hundred time, i can't post picture, just check the traffic on these wsites between 2020 and 2022,enormous difference, and what happened then? Enormous amounts of btc was stolen from peoples adresess, doesn't mattter dorment or no, its not right, u feel me? Something like from rags to riches

Being in the dark is nothing to be ashamed of, we all start there. But once the light is on, ignorance becomes a choice. This is called "wilful ignorance," which refers to the conscious decision to avoid learning or accepting facts. It can be motivated by a variety of factors, such as prejudice, ideology, or self-interest. There's nothing wrong with disagreeing with the majority, but it is irresponsible to simply close your ears and eyes to better-researched arguments. And that's the problem with "wilful ignorance." It makes people do or believe stupid shit like this...
1490  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Crypto should be banned or soon to be. on: January 14, 2023, 08:24:49 PM
Why should i steal from the people rich list, when my adress in there? And btw my first 50 btc comed from this adress you gave, 100 block mined. Can show archived data but why should i? I very well know what is ad hominem, and loyce or santander whatever his name is, said I'm talkin bs, i mean in uk we call it verbal, no man like him can give me verbal, nor u can chat to man like that. But it's the Internet everyone is smart these days, so allow it
Ps i meaned i will find it thru coleman tool, not loyce affiliated wsites

LoyceV and others said you were talking BS. This is not ad hominem, it is simply a statement of fact. Can you provide evidence to the contrary?

You don't have to steal coins from the rich list to prove your bullshit. Simply return the coins after you are finished, or even better, sign a message from one of the addresses on the list. If what you are stating is true, this shouldn't be a problem for you, right?
1491  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Crypto should be banned or soon to be. on: January 14, 2023, 06:56:34 PM
Forget my adress, i will find it this way even tho im vouching against it, its my way to regain it.

This confirms my suspicions, you're clueless. I'd advise you to hit the books again.

But nowadays you don't need to be experienced hacker to steal from people.

Then just go for it! Why not take a few coins from some of the "Bitcoin Rich List" addresses, what's holding you back?

Here, let me help you. Do a quick google search for the private key of this address:

Also, I suggest consulting the dictionary again to refresh your memory on the meaning of "ad-hominem"
1492  Economy / Gambling / Re: New casino BTC game development on: January 14, 2023, 06:43:07 PM
I simply sell the project at 0.01 btc.

it is 100% legit.

Considering what's being offered, the price is quite reasonable. Provided it's a fully functional casino script with all the necessary features and functionality. It would be great if we could see the backend demo somewhere to get a better idea of how it works and if it meets our requirements.

<...> but the thing is why we are we so concerned about it now?

Dude, I don't think anyone's particularly concerned about it. People just having a harmless discussion here, you know... this is a place for discussions!

They have been running successfully with legitimate business so we don't need to rely on how many years they have been into this crypto casino line and enjoy gambling over there.

There's no denying their legitimacy, as far as I can tell. But to say that the casino is 20 years old is just plain ridiculous.

WTF are you talking about? Can you give an example of a website that has a database containing people's private keys and mnemonics?

I could prove you wrong with statistics and data, but why bother? It's obvious that you're unwilling do accept any form of evidence unless it confirms your own biases. I guess it depends on your personal perspective, but if you're looking for complete security, you might as well be looking for a unicorn riding a leprechaun.

Man there are atleast 10 big sites with all the people infos, loyce is one, keys.lol or i did forget every site that exist, holding everything whats needed to lost all u have

So you're saying that my private key was published somewhere on the Internet? OK, then prove it! Show me where my private key is published.
1495  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think Bottom is gone on: January 14, 2023, 02:30:22 PM
tell me if i am wrong or right experts

No one can tell you that. Just because there has been a rally today and yesterday, it doesn't necessarily mean that the "bottom is gone" and that the market will continue to rise. The same thing is true of the other side of the coin: A big drop doesn't mean that it's time to panic and sell everything.

The market is volatile and unpredictable. Anyone who claims to know its next move is lying. The only thing that's certain is that there will be fluctuations in the market, both up and down.

Flag supported. As I am not active on the Collectibles board, this is my first time reading about this. It would be helpful for someone to provide a brief summary or TLDR; on the Reputation board.

In my experience, trading cryptocurrency is a lot like a rollercoaster ride: it takes a lot of effort to get on, but once you're strapped in, all you can do is hold on tight and hope for the best.  Cheesy
1499  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk on the phone? on: January 14, 2023, 12:08:25 PM
Bitcointalk does not have a mobile view a lot of members to proposing to have this but some of them want to stick where it starts, there's nothing wrong with it, only way to make it is to pinch your screen to zoom in, also developing for the mobile view makes the hassle to the dev too since people here already used to it.

That's right. Bitcointalk does not have a mobile version, but you can still access it on your phone by using a mobile web browser. Some users prefer to use browser extensions such as "Reading Mode" or "Reader View" that can make the website more mobile-friendly. Additionally, you can try using a third-party app such as "Tapatalk" which allows you to access some online forums, although I'm not sure if Bitcointalk is still supported. I think I read somewhere that it doesn't work anymore.
1500  Economy / Gambling / Re: Recommendations for Real Cryptocurrency Casinos on: January 14, 2023, 11:56:39 AM
I think this is why OP created this thread... he does not want to do the research by himself and he wants other players to provide him with casinos that they have already tested. You can browse the web and find many casinos, but how many of those casinos are just a front for an elaborate scam?

Well, it's not like I don't want to do my own research, but as I mentioned earlier, in many cases it's very difficult to get such information first hand. For instance, many casinos claim to accept bitcoin for deposits and withdrawals, but their terms do not clarify if they also convert it to fiat currency on their platform.
