1281  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best platform for crypto exchange on: March 20, 2023, 11:25:42 PM
Hello friends, I really wanna start investing and using crypto on daily basis Please let me know what are the best ways to do it? Where should I start? Thanks a lot in advance!

I'm a bit confused about your intentions. Are you looking to invest in cryptocurrency or use it as a method of payment? While it's possible to do both, there seems to be a bit of a tradeoff between the two options. Investing in cryptocurrency involves holding onto it for potential future gains, while using it as a form of payment requires spending it now.

You cannot use crypto in daily basis, there is no place in the world where you can every day buy stuff with crypto.

Don't be so sure about that. It's not a stretch to say that living solely on cryptocurrency is possible, given the increasing number of stores and businesses that now accept it as a form of payment. In fact, I myself have been able to pay for groceries and bills with cryptocurrency. Additionally, with the availability of payment cards that can be topped up with cryptocurrency, it's becoming easier to fully embrace a crypto-based lifestyle.
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 3 Reasons Why Cytpocurrency Gambling is more Addictive than Fiat Gambling! on: March 20, 2023, 11:11:15 PM
While there are certainly factors that make crypto gambling unique, the points mentioned in the post may not be significant factors in determining whether or not it is more addictive than fiat gambling.

First, the immediate and continuous gratification that we can get through cryptocurrency gambling is not a unique aspect of this form of gambling. Many traditional fiat gambling activities also offer immediate payouts or a quick and continuous stream of wins and losses, such as slot machines or roulette.

Second, anonymity is not unique to cryptocurrency gambling. Many fiat gambling activities also allow individuals to remain anonymous, such as playing the lottery or visiting a casino in a different city or country.

Finally, while the volatility of cryptocurrencies may create a sense of excitement for some gamblers, this is also not unique to cryptocurrency gambling. Traditional fiat gambling activities also involve risk and uncertainty, which can create a similar sense of excitement and potentially lead to addiction.

I log in many times to see if there is any new reply of my thread because my some questions are like that, i need to login to see if there is new reply or new knowledge to be learned, login means not that type of login that typing username and password, instead i switched to "always stay logged in" option , because i mostly on my computer and struggle to concentrate on work previously in my hand , so i switch to this site many time because of curiosity, It's been really very hard to concentrate for me.

Dude, you can't really be that addicted to this forum. Just take a break for a few days. You'll get over it.

1284  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrobetting.eu - Unmatched BTC Betting and Entertainment 🎰📈🏀⚾🏈⚽ on: March 20, 2023, 07:50:38 PM
I understand that every casino has their different ways of promoting their brand, but personally I prefer a casino that is active on the forum in solving the problem, then you can expect a better online experience. Because it shows that they care about their customers.

These are just my thoughts.
1285  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xbit1.com - New 1xbit.com management - We will try to solve all the problems - on: March 19, 2023, 03:19:33 PM
Wow, this thread has turned into a real circus! It seems like there's some shady stuff going on behind the scenes. And seriously, what's the point of defending a casino's non-existent reputation? It's pretty pathetic to keep messing with people's mental health.

Personally, I'm skeptical that the OP actually has any real control over the 1xbit domains. And even if they do, there's really no way for us to verify whether or not the casino is truly under new management. Unfortunately, it seems like we're stuck in the same cycle as a few years ago - the casino makes promises, but in the end, it all turns out to be the same old scammers trying to take advantage of people.
1286  Economy / Gambling / Re: Nitrobetting.eu - Unmatched BTC Betting and Entertainment 🎰📈🏀⚾🏈⚽ on: March 19, 2023, 03:10:42 PM
do you take UK users who access through VPN?
We will be more than glad to help you. Please email us at help@nitrobetting.eu.

Yeah, I'm with the member who replied earlier - why can't you answer questions like this out in the open? It would be a lot more helpful to everyone involved in this thread instead of just spamming it with your promotional messages that don't really benefit anyone.
1287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my lack of knowledge has blinded me so far on: March 19, 2023, 02:52:23 PM
To be honest, i dont understand why some ppl so mad at KYC... and would like to know opinions of who is against that, just to understand an their view.

Lots of people care about their privacy and want to keep some stuff about themselves private. While KYC is designed to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, some people may feel that it violates their privacy and exposes them to identity theft. Furthermore, some people may be concerned that KYC requirements may lead to the misuse of their personal data by financial institutions or government authorities. They may worry that their information could be hacked, leaked, or sold to third parties without their consent. It certainly wouldn't be the first time this happened.

1288  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Converting GBP on: March 18, 2023, 09:26:49 PM
I just can't figure out why on earth people are paying a 22% premium to swap FIAT to a stablecoin, it seems to make no sense whatsoever!

That's exactly the point. No one wants a currency they can't withdraw from the platform, that's why the price difference is so big. You have to be careful with such things in the future and check the exchange rate before depositing funds. I guess now you have the option to either accept such a bad rate or wait for it to stabilize again on the platform, which can be risky.
1289  Economy / Gambling / Re: RoyalStarsCasino.com | Crypto Fastest Growing Casino | Best No Wagering of 375% on: March 18, 2023, 09:03:34 PM
Not impressed with the UI/UX but it's not bad.
How long have you been operating? Is this a newly launched casino?
I wonder why you use a tagline that's already been taken and been using by popular casino... Would it be better if you come up with an original concept instead?

Hey @Eureka, we launched three months ago in Dec 2022. Could you let me know to which tagline you are referring to?

It's possible that what he's referring to is the phrase "Crypto Fastest Growing Casino" that you've used in the title. This tagline bears a strong resemblance to Roobet's "Crypto's Fastest Growing Casino". But I personally don't see a big problem with that.
1290  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: March 18, 2023, 08:09:59 PM
-snip-
You can use AI for different purposes but using it to predict matches and to bet on the matches based on the result of the AI is not a wise thing to do. Also paying for GPT-4 or any AI software is even more stupid thing because even a paid version of the tool has no clue of the future.
No matter how sophisticated AI technology is, it will not be able to provide accurate future guidance, all of that is only based on Probability because ChatGPT has complex supporting data and is studied with its intelligence.

Someone's luck cannot be detected by AI, maybe in the prediction TEAM A will win with valid supporting data, but if TEAM B is lucky and turns out to be superior in the final round, then the prediction will not be accurate.

Provided with a paid version it can be used for other knowledge purposes, there is much that can be explored apart from asking about betting predictions.

I totally get what you're saying. AI has come a long way and can provide us with some pretty accurate analyzes based on historical data and trends, but there are still certain things that are outside of its capabilities. Like, you know, luck and human behavior can definitely impact the outcome of things, especially in sports competitions, so therefore I wouldn't trust AI predictions without hesitation.

But, that being said, AI technology still has so many other amazing uses! I mean, think about it - it can help us automate certain tasks, identify patterns and trends, and even make recommendations. For example, in the world of sports, AI algorithms can analyze a team's past performance, player statistics, and other relevant factors to make predictions about the outcome of a game. While these predictions are not always accurate, they can still be helpful in making informed decisions.

Well, I was going to wait until I hit the magical 1.0 bitcoin interest earned, which I expect to happen by the end of the month, but you asked, so I'll post a little early. I do not consider this chump change  Wink

https://imgur.com/a/HJAMBXc

Well, I'm feeling so low now that I don't even want to publish my "chump change". I think I'll just go to the bathroom and wail my heart out.  Cry

I must give you credit for being so confident in FreeBitcoin, considering the significant sum of money you have in the bank.
1292  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: My wallet has been hacked. What to do? on: March 18, 2023, 04:23:48 PM
It is a pity that this will not help me or the users of the wallet in any way - it means that there will still be the same leaks from the wallets of other owners.

You still don't seem to understand. Electrum happens to be one of the most widely used desktop wallets, along with Bitcoin Core, and has a vast user base of millions of individuals worldwide who utilize it at any given moment. It's highly unlikely that any security vulnerabilities within the software would go unnoticed, given the sheer volume of users and the attention that such flaws would attract online. I'm not saying it's impossible, just very unlikely. So, rather than making baseless accusations, it would be more constructive to provide evidence to support your claims.

About 3rd party... I mean somebody did this without hacking my PC. I don't know how it could be done and it's looks imposible for me too.

Electrum is open-source software. Feel free to review the code yourself and report any loopholes or vulnerabilities you find.

But above I wrote why I think that access to my PC at the time of the specified date would not have given anything even if it had happened

After reading your explanation, I must say that I have serious concerns regarding your OPSEC and its effectiveness. Deleting your wallet profile after each use provide no significant protection, as it offers no real advantage in terms of security, unless you used an offline, air-gapped device to sign your transactions. Similarly, there is little advantage to adding another password to the archive since the wallet file's encryption already provides an adequate level of protection and is virtually impossible to break.

Welcome to the forum! I have checked your site; it's pretty relaxed and exciting. However, I don't have any experience with this site. So it would be great if someone could share their personal experiences with us through this forum, as it would benefit many of us. Good luck with your site.

They're a new casino. This discussion thread was created only yesterday, so it's unlikely that any members of this forum have had the opportunity to share their personal experiences with them yet. But hopefully, we'll get some helpful feedback soon.

I want to understand:

do you also have a license from the netherlands? can you show proof?

Just to clarify, they didn't say the Netherlands, but the Netherlands Antilles. Although I am not intimately familiar with the geography and politics of the region, to my understanding, the island of Curacao is located in the southern Caribbean Sea as a part of the Dutch Caribbean area, and is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The common name for the group of neighboring islands is the Netherlands Antilles.

1295  Economy / Economics / Re: Is risky to invest this period on: March 17, 2023, 09:37:53 PM
From the look of things bitcoin price will not come up soon, I guess is better to hold on till when it will show strong signal before putting in money again to escape losses and people who their investment is long over due are already victims of the Price dropping. We should try to be careful this period that bitcoin has not direction. Imagine a friend investment $2000 but what is currently left in his wallet is $400, and the deep is still bearing down the nuds.

Hold on, but if you must buy now be wise to use spare income.

FYI, Bitcoin has actually seen a significant increase of over 30% in the last week alone. While it's true that the cryptocurrency market can be volatile and unpredictable, it's important to not let fear dictate investment decisions.

Rather than waiting for a "strong signal" before investing again, it might be more beneficial to do some research and analysis to make informed investment decisions. As for your friend's situation, it's unfortunate that they have experienced losses, but it's important to remember that past performance is not indicative of future results. and btw, investing always comes with a level of risk. You should already know that.

Good job finding the reference, they can be safe now.

Yes, it's good to be on the safe side, but don't spread misinformation and scare them that their account can be banned, if you're not sure about it. Can you give one example where someone got banned because of a tracking link under the banner in their ANN?
I did not mean to scare anyone. You got wrong idea of the aggressive approach. It's not necessary. I already stated it was meant to play the safe side. Don't convert it to scarcity.

You know, if a Legendary member had told me back when I was a newbie that I could get banned for something I did on the forum, I would have been really worried, if not scared.  Shocked

In any case, I'm glad we've cleared that up now. No harm was done.
1297  Economy / Gambling / Re: RoyalStarsCasino.com | Crypto Fastest Growing Casino | Best No Wagering of 375% on: March 17, 2023, 08:09:29 PM
RoyalStarsCasino, you can freely ignore his comment and leave the tracking link in your post. This is allowed on the forum.
In case, just in case the account get ban then you will be responsible for it :-D
When there is a doubt, it's better to avoid it before it makes a damage. I am always with the safe side.

If it was a tracking link then it was not a problem but this is a referral URL under the banner. I could be an issue or may be it's will not as you are interpreting. But choosing the safe side for a startup is very important. They don't want to go though a ban or any punishment when they have a lot of others things to take care of.

Yes, it's good to be on the safe side, but don't spread misinformation and scare them that their account can be banned, if you're not sure about it. Can you give one example where someone got banned because of a tracking link under the banner in their ANN?

And, to prove my point, I suggest you take a look at the following topics:
Stake.com ANN
Roobet.com ANN
Crashino.com ANN
Punt.com ANN
TrustDice ANN

These are just a few threads from the first page of the Gambling board, there are probably many more.
1298  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: March 17, 2023, 07:59:56 PM
The prosecutor said that those keys were confiscated, and everybody who is using an BTC Mixer/Cleaner service is actually doing money laundering. So , what will happen now?

They never stated that. Their claim was that CM was involved in money laundering because, according to them, a significant number of coins originated from illicit activities. But they did not claim that all users of CM were involved in money laundering. It's important to distinguish between the two claims.

I don't want police to know i watch porn, i send money to girls to show tits for example and so on.
Please advice

What would be the police's interest in such a matter? Is it considered illegal in your jurisdiction?
1299  Economy / Gambling / Re: RoyalStarsCasino.com | Crypto Fastest Growing Casino | Best No Wagering of 375% on: March 17, 2023, 07:24:55 PM
RoyalStarsCasino, just to let you know, affiliate links are not allowed according to the forum rule. Since you are the official of the casino, I don't think it's necessary. Most of the times, affiliate people spam the forum with their referral link which looks odd.

Here is the topic from officials: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0

4. No referral code (ref link) spam.

I disagree with your interpretation of the forum rule. The rule explicitly refers to "spam", and I don't believe that any moderator would classify an official announcement (ANN) topic for a casino as spam, even if it includes a referral code (i.e. tracking link) to monitor site traffic.

RoyalStarsCasino, you can freely ignore his comment and leave the tracking link in your post. This is allowed on the forum.
1300  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: My wallet has been hacked. What to do? on: March 17, 2023, 06:46:03 PM
The wallet profile was missing on the PC, as well as the passphrase to restore it. I don't think it's my PC.

It is unclear which profile is missing from your PC. Can you specify? Do you have any idea how this occurred?
This fact itself tells us that your computer is very likely infected with some malware.

I believe that the actions were carried out on a third-party resource. Does Electrum have tech support to check this? How can I communicate them?

Electrum is a self-custody wallet, meaning that you are the only one who possesses your private keys, and there is no third-party resource that could cause you to lose your coins. However, if you have saved your seed phrase to an external source, that was a major security failure on your part.
