1381  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: February 18, 2023, 06:10:56 PM
Each casino has their own applications.

It's possible that our interpretations of the term "application" differ, but in my opinion, this is not the case. As I understand it, an application is a piece of software that allows you to perform some function on your computer or mobile device. What you are probably referring to is a web application (or web app), a type of application accessed through a web browser, and of course every online casino has their own, but that is not the topic here.

There are many people who are concerned about the security issues of using the app. They prefer direct gambling without any help of gambling application.

Where did you get that information from? I fail to see how using the official (genuine) app is any less secure than the official web app.

Check our casino https://betcrypto.cr for sign up is just email and password we are KYC free for ever !

Thanks for the suggestion; I'll make sure to check out your casino when I get a chance. However, I couldn't help but notice that your ANN thread hasn't been updated in quite some time, and the title still reads "Coming soon". I'm curious, does this mean that the casino is still under development and not yet ready for launch?

What do you mean? It's quite simple to visually confirm the destination address before sending bitcoins. Simply remember the first few and last few digits of the original address you copied, and compare them with the target address. It's recommended to take extra precautions when it comes to financial transactions.
But if you are doing this anyway as you should (although you should be checking the whole address and not just a few characters), then what does an automatic tool add to the process? Either your computer is free of malware and so the tool simply confirms what you've already discovered by checking manually, in which case it adds nothing, or you have some malware which results in the tool confirming an incorrect address, in which case it is actively harmful and encourages users to skip the manual check.

Your clipboard can be targeted by malware, which is why it is necessary to manually double check your sending address against the source you received it from (email, website, whatever). Similarly, any such checking tool can be similarly targeted by malware, and does not remove the need to manually double check.

Indeed, it's always better to exercise caution while sending transactions, especially when significant amounts are involved. No automated tool can replace the need for a careful review of the entire address before sending the payment.

While I mentioned that taking a few characters from the beginning and end of the address can offer some protection against clipboard malware, it's important to understand that this may not be foolproof. In some cases, malware can modify the middle portion of the address, and taking only the beginning and end characters may not be sufficient.

Nonetheless, taking a few characters from the address can be a quick and useful practice to adopt for everyday transactions. However, for high-value transactions or when in doubt, it's always best to check the entire address carefully. Let's make sure we take all necessary precautions to secure our transactions and protect our funds.

Dear swaga,

It has come to our attention that you are attempting to sell a script online without the proper license or permission from us, the original author. This is a serious offense and can have legal consequences.

Firstly, as you may already know, even if you purchased a license for our script, you are only allowed to use it for one domain name. Using the script for multiple domains without proper authorization is a violation of the license agreement. Any domain found to be using our scripts illegally will be reported to the relevant authorities and face legal sanctions.

Thank you for coming down here and clarifying and verifying that you are the real owner of the script, I call this abuse, once we bought or subscribe from one software or script seller we should read the terms and abide by the terms set up by the seller @swaga should adhere to the advice of the seller of the script.
You are calling someone for abuse but you yourself abuse your limited use of the script you bought, you need to address this issue.

As I said before, I never purchased anything from phoenix gambling. Their work served as a base for my script and if you compared those two you simply wouldnt be able to call them the same.
I recognize their right to sell it exclusively so I'm taking proper action by changing the frontend of my script since its the only indicator I'm selling their product - Im confident to say, code wise, mine is better.

You are such a fraud! How can you say that their product contains "serious bugs" if you have never bought or used their script? As far as I can see, the version of the script in question was never intended for public use or selling, as clearly stated in their Github repo.

Let's face it - You've taken someone else's product, made a few tweaks (supposedly), and tried to resell it. And now plan to market it as your own with a new frontend. But the thing is, you have no legitimate right to do so. On top of that, it seems like you have no problem slinging mud at the original developer.

It's pretty low to attack the original creator of the product you're essentially copying without any legal right to it. Instead of resorting to such underhanded tactics, why not invest your time and resources in developing your unique product that doesn't rely on copying someone else's hard work?
1385  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Electronic devices that can detect wrong wallet on: February 17, 2023, 09:06:34 PM
Maybe I got him wrong then? I thought the OP had a list of "approved" addresses that he could send to, so he wants to double-check if an address is among those.
My point being that such a tool doesn't really add any meaningful security. If your machine is not compromised, and you are manually double checking what you are copying and pasting as you should be, then such a tool is unnecessary. If your machine is compromised, then you could have clipboard malware which changes what you copy, but you could equally have some malware which interferes with your tool and returns a false positive, or inserts the attacker's address in to the tool's database, meaning the tool is useless, and you would only pick up the error by manually double checking again.

Gotcha, yes, in the case of  themiddle-man malware it's hard to pick up those details on the go.

What do you mean? It's quite simple to visually confirm the destination address before sending bitcoins. Simply remember the first few and last few digits of the original address you copied, and compare them with the target address. It's recommended to take extra precautions when it comes to financial transactions.

Making friends is crucial, especially those who are skilled in marketing and operating campaigns.

Friends? I would rather say business associates.

I totally agree it's important to have professional connections who can bring the skills you need to help your business. While "friend" may not be the most accurate term for these individuals, forming strong relationships with them can be a huge asset to your business. At the end of the day, having a network of skilled and supportive business associates can be a major factor in the success of your business. So, whether you call them friends, colleagues, or business associates, investing in these relationships can pay off in a big way for your business.

Advertising is one of the things that must first be taken into account to launch a casino, without advertising it is very difficult for them to be successful, I think that with good publicity many players will arrive so that the casino has the visibility they are looking for and how they are looking for That they put money for them to play, that is the option they have when a good reputation has not been built, of course they have to do things well, but good marketing is the secret for them to guarantee success, and it has to be a Bein strong marketing so that you get results quickly, they do not have to skimp on expenses.

Well, it's definitely true that advertising is a key for success, but I hope they're not relying on luck of the draw with their marketing strategy. Because, good ad campaign can really pay, but bad one might make them go bust. So, I hope they don't gamble too much on advertising budget, and focus on developing winning formula for getting the word out about their casino.
1387  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: February 17, 2023, 06:30:06 PM

No he was playing small odds like 1.1 for over a couple of months until he got to 3000$ in total. Maybe I explained it bad sorry.
To win $3000 at 1.1 odds, he needs to bet a minimum of $2727.  It is never possible to get $3000 by betting 1.1 odds through $500.  You seem to have misunderstood or seen something wrong. 1.1 odd means 1.1x means you will get 1.1x return of the dollar bet if you win that bet and gambling sites will also deduct some maintenance charges from here. So how does he get $500 to $3000 with 1.1 odds lol

It's quite simple: by placing 50 bets of $500 at 1.1 odds he will win $2,500, assuming all the bets are successful. Now, the above scenario is an oversimplification, but it illustrates how a gambler can make $3000 from an initial $500.

Basically, I think you just didn't understand what JooBra was trying to say.
1388  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: sportsbet.io scam 1731 usdt on: February 15, 2023, 09:59:31 PM
I kindly ask community help here, my bet was honest and they do not want to pay,  today I might be their victim, but tomorrow you can be instead of me, please emphasize with me and let's make them pay otherwise they are just SCAMS!

I'm sorry to hear that your experience wasn't a positive one. From what I know, Sportsbet.io is one of the most reputable casinos here. However, I'm a bit confused and was hoping you could clarify something for me. They kindly requested that you allow them 5 business days to conduct an investigation, so I'm curious as to why you decided to publicly accuse them of scam so quickly?

You posted this:

Quote
"Hello pxdi,

Thank you for providing us with all the information requested.
Once our investigation is completed, we shall get back to you. You can expect a response from us within 5 business days.
We kindly ask for your patience and understanding meanwhile. "

So, don't you think it's unfair that you don't give them at least the minimum amount of time they need to do an investigation?
1389  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tool For Check ChatGPT Plagiarisme on: February 15, 2023, 05:14:16 PM
Yes, there are some tools out there that you can use to check if ChatGPT i used to generate text. But, here's the thing - from what I've seen, no AI detector is anywhere near perfect. Sometimes,  these tools can say something is copied when it's actually original, or miss some copied parts. So, if you really want to make sure that the text is legit, it's not a good idea to rely solely on these tools.

To be on the safe side, if you want to make sure that the content is unique and not copied from elsewhere, it's a good idea to use multiple methods for verifying its originality. In addition to using plagiarism checkers, you could try searching for similar content using search engines, or manually comparing your text to other sources.
1390  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Localbitcoins.com] Is Closed. on: February 15, 2023, 04:07:31 PM
LocalBitcoins didn't just shut down overnight. It was a slow and steady process that had to do with legal and regulatory issues. They started putting the brakes on their services in some areas, like in Germany where they stopped offering services to users in 2019. They also pulled the plug in some parts of the USA, like New York and Washington State, because they didn't have the right licenses.

Basically, they had to adapt to new rules and laws as they came up, and that meant they had to cut back on their services in some areas. In my opinion, it was the combination of regulatory pressure and the recent decline in cryptocurrency values that led to its downfall.
1391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chasing losses - Double down bet or Bet twice? on: February 15, 2023, 03:51:27 PM
What do you typically do when you are on chasing loss situation?

I try to be responsible and avoid putting myself in a chasing loss situation. To do this, I set limits on the amount of money I'm willing to risk, so I never find myself in a position where I'm losing more than I can afford. Let's be real, we've all been there - trying to make up for losses by doubling down or using some fancy strategy like the martingale. But if you've been around the gambling block for a while, you probably know that these strategies can be a straight-up disaster.

There's just no way to guarantee a win when you're gambling, and trying to chase your losses is a surefire way to end up even deeper in the hole. So, if you're going to play the game, it's best to do it responsibly and within your means. And who knows, maybe you'll even strike it lucky and walk away with some extra cash.
1392  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Bitcoin generation on: February 15, 2023, 03:04:27 PM
If you're looking for a more secure way to manage your Bitcoin keys, you might want to consider using deterministic wallets instead of generating a list of keys. By using a deterministic wallet, you can avoid the need to maintain a long list of keys and instead generate new keys based on a master seed.

<...>

when it comes to crowdfunding aspect, the person or the group should have their credibility to conduct this type of sourcing funds. because these days, people are not trusting anymore most anonymous projects. they know that they can easily abandon their project without a trace.
we don't know how serious they are with this endeavour. the concept is great but to what extent they will go out their ways to make sure this platform will survive? some are losing their enthusiasm after few months of operations if they can't get their target number of players or income.

You make a good point. When it comes to crowdfunding, it's good to consider the credbility and track record of the person or group behind the project. Unfortunatley, there are many cases of crowdfuning projects failing or being abandoned by their creators, which has led to a decrease in trust from potential backers. However, in order for the crowdfunding campaign to be successful, other factors such as market demand, competition, and execution are also critical to the project's success. Even the best managers and developers cannot compensate for a bad idea and an unsustainable business plan. The team behind the project needs to have a solid plan in place and the expertise to execute it successfully. Overall, while credibility is important, it's just one piece of the puzzle in a successful crowdfunding campaign.

1398  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: in my opinion don't buy crypto at high prices on: February 13, 2023, 08:07:14 PM
I want to ask everyone?
what do you think causes people to behave like that, namely always buying at high prices,? but when the price is cheap he doesn't want to?

It seems like you either have a limited understanding of investments or you're relatively new to this world. When people see prices rising, they may feel a sense of FOMO (fear of missing out) and make impulsive decisions to buy at a high price. On the other hand, when prices are low, they may be uncertain or skeptical about the market and choose to wait for a rebound. But the most important thing is that no one can know in advance when the prices are too high and when they are low. Timing the market is a difficult task and is often impossible to predict with certainty. Therefore, it's recommended to focus on a long-term investment strategy, instead of trying to time the market.

How great to see that we have ruined the reputation of this scam site.

Guys, you have one chance to wash off the shame and restore your name, this is to pay money to all the deceived clients.

Ruining the reputation of a scam site may seem like a win, but it's not exactly something to cheer about. It would have been better if the casino just played fair from the get-go instead of resorting to shady business practices.

Anyway, I noticed that OLE777Official was active today, but they didn't respond to this thread. I hope they haven't given up and are working with their security and compliance team to find the best solution.
1400  Economy / Gambling / Re: STARTING OWN CRYPTO GAMBLING SITE on: February 13, 2023, 07:13:52 PM
You need funds if you want to start your own full-blown crypto casino site.  If you do not have enough funds, but have the ability and knowledge to set up an online casino  you can always do crowdfunding to support you with the finances you need.  There is two way in getting crowdfunded, you can use kickstart platforms or create your own token and sell them as an initial offering and give the holder part of the profit.  If you are successful then you might be able to get the fund you needed for a gambling site.

Speaking of crowdfunding, I was wondering if any of the veterans here know of any gambling projects that started through crowdfunding and eventually became successful with the help of the community? I'd love to hear about any experiences or examples.

Not really, but such a platform will be sure success. Invest options over gambling platforms itself very rare option. As the house always have its edge, there won't be much of loss unless there is some security issue that can cause hack.

OP could try to learn and slowly develop something unique, maybe it can take time. But his work will be really a big learning and can turn to be a great success as he have well understood about the market and wants the independent market.

That's what I thought. A platform that focuses on transparency and fairness, utilizing blockchain technology, has the potential to be a success in the industry. With the added benefit of having a guaranteed profit, it could be a compelling investment opportunity. It may take time to develop and establish, but the learning experience and potential rewards make it worth considering.
