18621  Other / Off-topic / Re: When 1 BTC = $10k, I will blow an entire bitcoin on hookers and blow on: December 24, 2013, 07:28:50 PM
You heard it here first and I will bump this topic and provide proof of my promise once and IF BTC this $10,000 a pop. I've always wanted to have a threesome and do lines of coke off a stripper's tits... these are 2 bucket lists that I can easily knock off when I become rich off bitcoins.

You're going to spend 10k on prostitutes and cocaine? That seems a bit excessive.

It ate a lot of the rest of my post earlier. I was going to ask other newbies if they had traded crypto currency on ebay before?

I sold 5 lots of 1,000,001 MILLIDoge for an average price of $115.00 on ebay last few days. The buyers are trying to claim that I promised 1 million doge for the price. In the description/body of the ad I say five times that they are getting 1,000 Doge only for thier $127.00, one guy bought three lots. Now everything is being held by Paypal, and I was wondering what paypal would do with the profits - since they say they have no refund/buyer protection for intangible digital items.... anyone had experience with this?

They will just issue refunds to the buyers no doubt. Ebay/PP don't care about sellers and you're not meant to sell cryptocoins on there.
18623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use another bitcoin address as your password on: December 24, 2013, 06:56:58 PM
This is a good idea. Simply use an address as your password, they are random and secure. Plus you can keep it in a list or address book and no one would think it's a password.
my recommendation is USE A PASSWORD that you ALREADY USE ON THINGS
cause if u forget it, it's so long money
Block chain as password dictionary. Good idea.

There are funny people around here, I see.

Welcome to Bitcointalk. Enjoy your stay  Cheesy.
18624  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: December 24, 2013, 06:50:11 PM
I haven't watched a film in months as I've been busy with Bitcoin and posting on these forums haha. Got loads of stuff downloaded I want to watch, but will probably make a start on in the new year.
18625  Other / Off-topic / Re: Chuck Norris An Early Adopter: Proof Inside! on: December 24, 2013, 06:47:32 PM
Now how long is it going to be before we have Norriscoin?
18626  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hi there on: December 24, 2013, 06:40:58 PM
Hi there,

Why can't we post on any other forum than this one? :{

You need to wait 4 hours before you can. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=177133.0

Do you disagree hilarious?

I neither agree nor disagree.
18630  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A friend's idea to promote on: December 24, 2013, 06:13:52 PM
Nice jacket! I like what it's wearing underneath even more. Wink This is a great image. Well done!

Thank you! Here's a little secret. Black silky bra from vs on top... And nothing more Wink

And maybe if I get more tips I can get me some boots or whatever you guys want me to wear Tongue
lol I'm going to take a wild guess and say it's not 'more' clothes that the guys want.

I think partial skin and sexy lingerie are more powerful than "in your face" pics Tongue

And I'm sure many people are now going to disagree...
18631  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin "cards" on: December 24, 2013, 06:08:48 PM
Whoever had that idea was a genius.  0.5BTC for a plastic card... err.. I mean, a "high quality plastic card".  Absolutely mind blowing.

Capitalists gonna capitalise.
18632  Other / Off-topic / Re: Looking to sell my forum account for btc. Is there any interest in this? on: December 24, 2013, 06:06:05 PM
Oh, I forgot to mention that you can have all my PMs too. Every discussion I've had with everyone from Memory Dealers to MatthewNWright.

There's a reason they are called "private messages" ..... just saying ... the other parties might not be too happy

Yeah, I guess that's true. I shouldn't do it, but do you think it adds any value to the sale? lol

Depends on the content of the messages, lol ....
Sometimes people include their personal data in these. Let's say a mining hardware vendor sells his account - this could be worth a lot since you are getting names and addresses of all his buyers, think of the chaos   Lips sealed
Many companies buy and sell email addresses and personal information to other companies.

And that practice is generally frowned upon and often illegal.

Frowned upon - possibly. Illegal - no.  This is a personal social experiment for me. You will have to assume that I will do the right thing concerning the PMs.

I didn't say what you was doing was illegal. Selling email addresses and other personal information can be illegal.
18633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies, stay away from altcoins. please on: December 24, 2013, 06:03:18 PM
I'm not sure I agree with the post. Bitcoin isn't really a currency. I

It is a currency. What makes it not a currency in your opinion?
18634  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where to buy btc? on: December 24, 2013, 06:00:09 PM
Hi guys. Where is the best place to buy btc with my credit card or PayPal account? I'm looking to get in the game. Have about $2400 to start.

Localbitcoins accepts PP. Or you could try buy some on the forums here, but peeps wont likely use PP.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/world/europe/9551594/Long-overdue-pardon-for-gay-war-hero

Quote
Now, nearly half a century after the war hero's suicide, Queen Elizabeth II has finally granted Turing a pardon.

"Turing was an exceptional man with a brilliant mind," Justice Secretary Chris Grayling said in a prepared statement released Tuesday. Describing Turing's treatment as unjust, Grayling said the code breaker "deserves to be remembered and recognised for his fantastic contribution to the war effort and his legacy to science."

The pardon has been a long time coming.

If there was ever an example of why the State should have limited powers, this be it. No doubt there are some today holding sufficient powers that want e.g. Edward Snowden "chemically castrated", or "terminated".

Good news I guess, but I don't see what good it does Turing now.
18637  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I dont like the newbie policy regarding waiting period on: December 24, 2013, 05:32:56 PM
So how many people read the TOS and came here first? Rather then discovering you couldn't make posts then when hunt hunting for the right thread?

Let's be honest, who actually reads the TOS of forums when they sign up?
18638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women of Bitcoin, Yes there's women on: December 24, 2013, 05:29:43 PM
LMAO do you want me to post my degree so you know I am not lying about being around very bright people?

Sure, that would be a start.
18639  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Uk Electronic Stores Accepting BTC on: December 24, 2013, 05:05:41 PM
how long does the newbie stuff last??

So, if you could buy anything with BTC big or small what would it be??

Apart from new parts, I'd love to pay my rent and bills with it, do you think if i sent EDF some BTC they would be happy???

Not long. I've been here a little over a month and my posts are down to about 30 seconds I think.

I'd like to be able to buy most things in BTC. I hope for the day when many online retailers or highstreet shops accept Bitcoin.

tea pot calling the kettle black (i don't mean that in a racist way btw).. fuck off, obama.

Haha.

it doesn't seem like hilary clinton is any better than him. she appears to prefer the status quo, so no voting for her. she'll probably be more effective than obama has been though. that man is the best at running campiagn, and not so great at being president.

Doesn't matter who wins, they're all the same and won't change shit.
