1881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What does success mean? on: June 01, 2020, 11:53:57 AM
Today you can see many topics and meassages that new projects do not succeed.
But what is success? If we measure success by today's standards, then for the majority it will mean listing on a large exchange and rising prices.
But is it success and success for whom? For those who just made money on this speculation? For a project that earned? For the exchange that earned? And where is blockchain and technology here?
........

Yeah unfortunately success nowadays is only measured by price and exchange listing, as long as that project is able to use all of their funds to list on top exchange and pump the price for the benefit of both the investors and project team, then yes, that project is successful, nobody cares if the project carry on with development, establish a service that can actually benefit people, how that project can be able to provide this service using blockchain and so forth, to many, success is price pump.
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One good turn deserves another 👈 Scammers way on: June 01, 2020, 11:45:02 AM
Why i think this is a fact that can't be denied is the fact that most of this project team usually use fake identities to launch a project and others remain anonymous so their identities are unknown, it will be very easy for such people to scam investors with multiple fake project without them being caught, sometimes if you look closely maybe you can find similar pattern of a previous scam project in a new one, it is very easy for all this so-called project dev to launch fake project.

This can only happen when there is seriously bull run, never underestimate some project and their support, I believe with all the features you mentioned above, any project who possess them can do very well especially when it falls during bull run, that's the period where everything moon irrespective of what they have to offer, but without it, this cannot happen.
1885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bizpaye Project locking hunter's reward to a low-key exchange. on: May 29, 2020, 02:58:34 PM
Bounty hunters worked for 2 months or more and waited for like 6-7 months before getting paid. After that the team has decided to pay us in our proassetz accounts rather than in the wallet address with put in registration form upon signing up. Little did we know that we won't be able to withdraw our token and sell it on other exchanges. Porassetz has no traders and price is so dump compare to DOBI and Vindax with the price of $0.39.

What can we do in order to get what we work for and benefit from  it? The Team owner they chose to distribute in that exchange in order to prevent token dumping from Hunters.

What is the point of payment if you can't sell or able to withdraw to sell in another exchange! This is very wrong and unfair to hunters, how can they do this after hunters have worked for 2 months and then wait for 6 months and still lock it up in an exchange! How long they want to keep the reward lock up for! Hope they can release the reward hunters eventually.
1886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2key hits soft cap goal. Projects nowadays are still raising money! on: May 28, 2020, 09:18:39 AM
I think they will be listing on bithumb, I say they have done themselves well, after successfully completing their sales now they will be on bithumb, this days many projects are struggling to raise funds let alone list on a decent exchange, I know bithumb is good exchange and will help 2key with more liquidity, increase chances of exposure.
1887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta is dead, long live the ForkDelta on: May 28, 2020, 09:06:41 AM
If Etherdelta died its kinda worries me about storing my private key on Etherdelta.
It is possible that the developer of Etherdelta might gather all our coins in our vulnerable wallet.
So do you think that we should create a new wallet for safety?

i just test the site out and it loads slow but not dead at all  . dunno where they got the false info but maybe they are also experiencing delays and also ed could have been down temporarily last time but thankfully they are back now  .  you shouldnt also have to worry bout your private keys because its a decentralized exchange anyway  not unlike from centralized ones that they can hold all your coins   . no need to panic or create a new wallet  .  if the old wallet works fine then just continue using it

In decentralized exchange once you logout your keys are out and not retain in the exchange, so nothing to worry about, the reason why Ed should not die is the fact that anyone can sell their erc20 token even before that token get listed, that's their uniqueness and why hunters use them alot,
My only problem with them is their slowness, they are not as fast as you would have wanted them, but they still get the job done, Fd and Ed used to be the place to dump tokens immediately without waiting on exchange, now I guess people have move on to better dex, the devs needs to restructure the place to keep it running.
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Highly disappointed about Olportal on: May 27, 2020, 07:46:24 AM
My post today is about Olportal project, see I don't know whats wrong with new projects today, they always create useless hypes to decieved the public, Olportal said they are going coinall and okex, they use this on their website and bounty Ann page but after bounty is over they start saying listing on Okex is not easy as everyone thought, instead they list on Coinsbit....

Well I guess this goes to show you that no amount of research on a project can determine the turn of event at the end of the day,
Personally I don't see anything to be disappointed about, everything about listing a project in exchange is not an easy process, maybe there where conditions which they were unable to meet which lead to this, or they don't have the funds to sustain such listing at present, lots of reasons involved,

And as for hypes it is part of crypto, you should already know that by now, project will always come up with something to draw investors and supporters attention, it is nothing new, between they must have thought it through before considering a list on consbit, this is just a start, more exchange will come in near future.
1889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees high on: May 27, 2020, 07:31:38 AM
If Lightning network get enough adoption, the problem with fee will be solved because people can be able to send/receive btc with very low fee. I think LN will solve that.
May I ask what is the road block? Why people are reluctant to adopt the lightning network as opposed to the high transaction fee! If this is what can solve this high transaction fee people are currently facing then there should not be any hesitant about it, just wondering why the adoption is slow,
And as for minimize transaction cost, I also do same, use other alts that has less fees to withdraw.
1890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is crypto is better then fiat? on: May 27, 2020, 06:21:42 AM
There should not be comparison of the two just yet, fiat serve wider purpose than crypto both in banking and other business sector, there are lot of services that crypto can not provide which are very necessary in human existence, just because few merchants accept btc is not enough to start comparing the two,
Even now many people are complaining about high transaction fee, pending transactions and what have you, there are still many limitations in crypto that make this comparison not suitable.
Many people just get confused about the value of crypto and its every usage as a monetary means.
1891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple should stop dumping XRP coins!! Let's all help to stop this! on: May 26, 2020, 07:35:11 AM
I have said this a million times but none of you listened to me at all. You know what will happen? I will write another long message about how Ripple is a company and as long as they make a profit they don't care about the price of XRP, they will literally destroy all of XRP if it means a bit more money to them, they do not care about the XRP investors at all. And in the end nobody will care about my message, and everyone will continue to trust the team and still invest into XRP for some reason I will never know.

Do you guys buy it just because its ranked third? I mean this is a company with hundreds of millions of dollars, of course they are keeping it high priced like it is right now, but just because its third in ranks doesn't change the fact that its a highly centralized currency.

Maybe people will start caring when they watch their investment going down the toilet, it is because of investors that ripple exist, if they are all too selfish to see it then I don't think xrp is worth holding, already they have their flaws with their centralized nature, in addition dumping on investors because they are greedy, am not fan, I don't hodl any, just feel bad for those who support them.
1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: $27k NRG not credited on Kucoin ((Kucoin issue)) on: May 26, 2020, 07:20:39 AM
Kucoin are in the right position to check and rectify your problem, if they claim your transaction was blacklisted they should tell you why it was so, I don't there is anything anyone can do to help you from here,
13 days is a long time for any transaction to go through.

Address in first message is MY address that the coins were sent from

https://explorer.energi.network/address/0xA088bB95c8213F2eb90ee25B14FD3372935CE42B/transactions

^ This is where the NRG was sent, this one belongs to kucoin.

From the explorer it shows that 10k plus nrg was sent in 14 days ago and same amount was sent out 11 days ago, if that is the kucoin wallet where your coin is supposed to be then there is something wrong, maybe someone can take a look if am wrong, you should ask them where are your coins, they should know better, explorer don't lie.

1894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TRUSTED PROJECT BOUNTY OR JUST SCAM ? on: May 25, 2020, 06:45:33 AM

Just because a project is listed on exchange don't give them a check as a legit campaign, take a look at digitalbits, they are listed on exchange and doing absolutely great still refuse to be pay hunters reward,
To me that is not an authentic criteria to determine which campaign will be rewarding, there are so many disappointment from project owners that left hunters wondering and confused.

this is the reason why you need to make your own research before joining in bounty.

Listening  to other suggestions will not work always so you need to make your own review for a project so every time you join a scam campaign no one is to be blame other than your self for not doing your homework.

Forget about research, lol! Research can only give 50% assurance about legitimacy of a project but still not enough to give a full guarantee that you will get your reward at the end of the bountycampaign, this is a question of the team keeping to their promise, if the team are not ready to pay when campaign is over, your research means nothing, because no matter how hard to try to research about a project, you can't determine what will is inside the mind of the project owners, that is one place your research will not work.

Can you do a research to check if a team will pay reward at the end of a bounty?
1895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solution to too many promoters on: May 25, 2020, 06:36:48 AM
From my point of view, it is better to have fixed reward or limited participants in a campaign to ensure that participants actually get rewarded, this is also important in bounty pool, some projects gives unrealistic reward and later they are finding it hard to keep to their promise, better to have a realistic reward pool and fixed payment to protect both hunters and project.
But I guess having too many unlimited participants favors the team more than the hunters.
1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about coronacoin COVID? on: May 25, 2020, 06:30:00 AM
There is a bounty campaign promoting COVIR.io, at first look it looks good, but even they are legit and are not scam at all, the problem is if the token has an use case, I canīt imagine for what this token could be used.

Quote
CVR tokens represents the license rights attached to Octopus Robots Biosafety
solution against COVID-19, that will generate incomes over license sales and
royalties.

The above is what I get from the covir technical document, the cvr tokes as you can see will repsent the license rights of investors that is attached to octopus robots which is a partner of covir.io to generate incomes, we can't deny the fact there are many covid-19 related projects in the market but a thorough look at convir and there octopus robots partnership will tell l you they look very different, this is not an endorsement of this project, but just telling my observation.

I like your observation! The main problem here is that we don't know much about pharmaceutical companies, all we know that there is a lot of money in that, but nobody knows any names, we don't know who is trusted and who is not. We can research and find out more, but I don't think I will do that! I don't care about them because I don't have a nice opinion about them! I will not get into any covid related crypto project.

Bro you are entitled to your opinion so am I, nobody ask you to look into anything, neither does anyone ask your opinion on the subject matter,  nobody really cares if you decide to research about it or not, if you don't know about pharmaceutical companies that is entirely up to you to either want to know or not, if you don't want to get into covid related crypto project nobody cares.
1897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: TRUSTED PROJECT BOUNTY OR JUST SCAM ? on: May 24, 2020, 05:18:31 PM
As bounty hunters its your job to find a good campaign don't just rely on others suggestions you should always have your own way to determine  if the project you want to be part is legitimate.

As for my suggestions I create a thread that only list a bounty coins or tokens that only listed in exchange.

1899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $GHOST by McAfee & allegations from Pivx & Chimera devs on: May 23, 2020, 11:31:39 AM
I thought this allegations have been cleared already? He already admitted forking from PIVX and adding extra privacy features that PIVX don't have, common people, if you want to nailed this then go after BCH BSV and others too

Yeah since McAfee is most hated by many it is very likely that this will be extensively dragged especially by the pivx supporters, maybe he should have requested permission before taken content from another source without proper acknowledgement, that is not a good way to start a project, although am looking forward to the launch of Ghost.
1900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bubbalex and Cartesi team kept to bounty promise, thumbs up on: May 23, 2020, 08:43:48 AM
A good BM makes a bounty campaign worth the effort, in recent times many projects have develope the habit of screwing hunters around mostly because some bm's are not strong enough to protect the interest of hunters, as long as they got their payment they won't care much about hunters,

Thats why BM like Bubbalex are different and many hunters would want to work with him regardless of the bounty reward pool, congrats to all hunters who participate, and best of luck to the cartesi project moving forward.
