1881  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice from a stranger on: July 28, 2022, 01:37:47 PM
Is it true that new altcoins are the best to invest in right now? Someone said you can easily make better profits from new projects than investing in old altcoins that have already x their values already, what do you think? Good or bad idea.
It is a 50/50 thing for me even though I wouldn't just invest in any new project just because I think I will make more from it, I could also lose everything from that investment, however, if the project is convincing and seems to have the potential, I might invest cause it is all about taking that chance, however, only 10% of my investment can go into New projects.

Investing in new projects aims to be a pioneer in the project and can reap huge profits, but with it comes the risk of losing everything.
You can invest in new projects as long as you have researched that new token and don't invest with money you can't lose in it, it's worth a try.
Today's leading projects have also gone through new project stages and the big winners are those who have trusted and accompanied the project since its inception.
I think investing in a new project is much more risky because even though we have done research first, it is still risky,
actually it's not a bad idea but indeed we need to consider many things,
most importantly always be vigilant and stay careful with new projects
Participating in a new project means being guinea pigs in the early stages of the project, we are the first project judges, project success or failure and that is the risk we face.

Rather than simply considering or being cautious, we should consider it a dead investment from the moment we join so only invest with the amount that you are willing to lose when deciding to participate in new projects.
1882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: July 28, 2022, 12:05:32 PM
The Italy thing gives me incredible pain, for me the Italians have a great style of play, also their history defines them a lot, there are already two World Cups in a row that we don't see them, I think that Italian Soccer needs to have more discipline, and that is It starts with the leagues, series A a few years ago had great fame, I know that the pandemic affected clubs around the world a lot, but I think it is time for not only the Bundesliga, the Spanish league, to shine, but also the Italian must be the protagonist, the French league is currently quite famous, in this if the money should move to promote the sport.
Every year some of the top teams fail to qualify for the World Cup, especially from the two toughest confederations (UEFA and CONMEBOL). I am disappointed about Italy, but at the same time I am sad about Colombia, Chile and Paraguay as well. But this is how qualifications work. FIFA also need to ensure that the world cup has sufficient representation from all the regions, so sometimes teams from tough confederations lose out. But for the plus point, we have teams such as Qatar who are participating for the first time ever. I am excited about Wales as well. This is their first world cup after 1958. A wait of more than six decades. Phew!

I am a lot more interested in high-profile matches. It will be interesting to see how France performs at this World Cup. Earlier, they did not perform well in the UEFA Nations League. I am also interested to see how Argentina is going to play. Lionel Messi must be very motivated to do well in this World Cup. This should and probably will be his last World Cup. Real Madrid's squad had a really terrible performance from Gareth Bale. But we also know that he was preparing well for his national team. Now we just have to wait and see if he is able to perform well with his national team. Brazil is also one of my favorites in this World Cup.

1884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: July 26, 2022, 08:46:29 PM
One record was made to day in T20I cricket, which was largely ignored by the mainstream media. French player Gustav McKeon became the youngest ever to score a century in T20I. The record was held by Hazratullah Zazai of Afghanistan till now. Gustav achieved this feat during his second ever T20I match, which was played against Switzerland during the T20 World Cup Europe Sub-Regional Qualifier Group B. And better still, he is a citizen of France (the only French citizen in the playing XI for that match).
https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/france-batter-gustav-mckeon-tops-hazratullah-zazai-to-become-youngest-man-to-score-a-t20i-century-1326253

Entertainment like this should not be neglected but I think this would have been a lot more fun to create if France was able to win the match. I am sure that would have made this record a lot more memorable than what it is now. But it is also true that most of the mainstream media almost like avoided this news. Probably they thought it wasn't appropriate to spread the news because this happened in a small match. Well, this is quite small when we compare it with the big games.
1885  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell or keep holding HEX? already gained 50x on: July 26, 2022, 04:23:07 AM
Once it gained 50x, it should be the right time to sell. To be honest, if I have some HEX, I will sell all of them if they can rise 50x. HEX isn't a top coin, the price won't always increase and we don't know how long it will survive. Rising 50x is quite enough to take profit, better to secure the profits and move our funds to top coins. There are too many top coins at cheap prices, why do we need to hold HEX again?  Wink

Agreed, there is always a difference between the top coins and rest of the coins. As OP have already had a 50x growth on the investment, then it is time to book the profit and wait for an opportunity to buy at a lower price. If not it is time to take the profit and move the profit into some leading cryptocurrencies in the market. As mentioned, these won't show similar signs of growth throughout. So, it is good to make use it at the right time.

Not only with HEX but with any altcoin that makes more than 50x profit, I will sell it immediately, if it is a top coin then I might consider buying it back after it corrects.

The price of a coin will not go up forever and we are here to make a profit, so we should sell the coin as soon as it becomes profitable. Excessive greed will usually not bring you a satisfactory result.
1886  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Terra Classic scam? on: July 26, 2022, 04:08:36 AM
The project is another version of old Luna, it is not a scam project yet, but I believe in the near future it will be. To be honest, there's no longer any motivation that can make luna classic a success. Investors have completely lost faith in the terra team, luna classic trading is still there as it is still profitable for exchanges, but it would be a bad investment if someone decided to invest in it now.
1887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Muuinu next big memecoin? on: July 26, 2022, 03:58:03 AM

Meme coins hold zero value.  They had their run in 2021 it's over.  And this is a terrible market to speculate on complete crap coins.  Most likely just end up losing your money, why do people keep putting their money into this stuff lol.

Because a lot of people think that free money exist and they have read and heard a lot of success stories of people getting rich by memecoins. They had a big run in 2021 and it can and will probably happen again... I also invested like 50$ in SHIB just to play, 99% chance I will loose everything but maybe it pumps again massively...

As of yet, there is no evidence that Shiba will die, however investing in meme coins with a willingness to accept losses is completely reasonable.

The meme will not completely disappear from the market as it is a good tool for sharks to pump and dump to attract noobs, investing in memes is only appropriate when it's in a bull market where there's more hype than a bear market.
1888  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 25, 2022, 08:28:22 PM
Roma are just going to be one of the teams about what they would do next season. Because there has been a very visible development for Roma thanks to Mourinho. New transfers will also strengthen the lineup a lot indeed. Their target must be entering top four in the Serie A this time. They had a huge point difference with Juventus last season and gave up on their Champions League ticket too early. This time it should be different and they should be able to compete harder.

For that to happen I think José Mourinho needs the financial support that he wants. I think the club is willing to give him support because he has shown positive improvement with this team. And if he is given the financial support that he wants he is obviously more likely to be able to get better results. This is compared to what he got in the last season with this team. There is also no doubt that this time will not be easy because Juventus has made some improvements in the team, as have all the other teams above Roma. It is going to be a struggle for the Roma. However, if I had to say which team is going to get demoted to the Europa League this time I have to say it might be Inter.
1889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 25, 2022, 08:20:47 PM
Manchester United are fully acquainted of the fast rising talented Salzburg Player, Benjamin Sesko. The 19year old who play the frontline for Salzburg is actually tall and knows the perfect spot to strike the ball. As of now, the Slovenian professional player is on United rader, not just on Erik's Side but also other clubs are informed about the player, even one of the clubs like Newcastle. United have not place any official bid for Benjamin but Erik hopes sooner or later he will include him in his squad and the scouts from other clubs are really doing their best to get close deal or verbal agreement with the player.

I believe that ETH is not confident about Cristiano Ronaldo being on the team. Even though it looks like Cristiano Ronaldo is going to be playing for Manchester United at least for one full season. Coach Erik ten Hag does not feel so confident about it. That is why I believe he is interested in Benjamin Sesko. And I don’t think it is going to be an error to get this player on the team. This is because he is already being compared with the likes of Erling Haaland. But obviously when a young player makes some positive impressions a lot of other teams are obviously more likely to be interested in him as well.
1890  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 24, 2022, 08:37:09 PM
Transfer rumours:
Chelsea have beaten off competition from Barcelona to sign Sevilla and France centre-back Jules Kounde and will offer the 23-year-old a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge. So another great deal for Chelsea and another failure for Barcelona.
Barcelona and Netherlands forward Memphis Depay, 28, is likely to turn down a move to Newcastle. Does this mean that Depay will stay in Barcelona after all?
AC Milan have joined Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona in the race to sign 18-year-old Aston Villa and England Under-19 attacking midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka. Chukwuemekai is in high demand, many clubs want him, and what will he decide in the end?
Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/62269121

I think Barcelona should be staying away from the transfer market right now. They have spent a really significant amount of money in this transfer market even though they don't have any money in the bank at all. I am still wondering how they managed to do that.

Depay is most likely going to stay in Barcelona. This also means that he is waiting for a better offer. But I honestly do expect him to stay in Barcelona.

Carney Chukwuemeka is a player with a lot of bright potential. I think AC Milan and Dortmund will be chasing him a lot more than Barcelona.
1891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 24, 2022, 12:34:17 AM
Dani Alves is too old to play in Barcelona, now he is 39 years old and that is not the age he still deserves to play in Europe's best competition, at 39 years of course his physical strength is not as good as other players, I think it is very natural if Barcelona does not renew his contract again .
And with his desire to continue playing football I think choosing a club outside of Europe with less competition means Dani Alves getting more playing time, that's very good for him.
Dani Alves should have retire from his football career and pursue a coaching role, infact his contract with Mexican Club should be player/Coach, he had a successful footballing career as well as earned much money playing football at 39 years isn't going to be easy considering his body system he won't have much strength to play counter attack as well as defend effectively as a left back, though he had experience at his side, he should follow the footstep of Wilshere former Arsenal midfielder who recently retire from football and took up a coaching role with the club academy.

For me, it is actually sad to see this player leaving Barcelona again, to be honest. But one can say that Barcelona supporters are getting used to this. He has been a great player and performer for Barcelona. I think his time to retire is getting really close. It will be better for him to retire at this age and not put too much pressure on his body.

His strength obviously has declined. So it would be much better if he did not continue to play football. And we all know that a defender has to play a certain amount of physical football. It is quite possible that his body will not be able to take that much pressure. So it's better for him to pursue a career as a coach.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 23, 2022, 06:46:22 PM
Among the teams currently in La Liga, Real Madrid is currently in the best position But their team is complete and very strong. The way they line up the team in every game really shocks the supporters But they have built themselves the last way first Champions League. So it can be said without a doubt that the most favorite team in La Liga is Real Madrid
Arguably the best team in history of football if I should say, but expect a more intensed La Liga weekends games, matches and fixtures.
Noticed Barcelona lately ? Then you would see how they are preparing good for the new season. Xavi Hernandez is in the kitchen cooking some spicy a d tasty Ketchup for the new season to kick off.
They should introduce a defender soon once that has been done, the only thing likely to stop them would be injuries and disciplinary actions from Fifa over their player's. Lewandoski Pedri, Fati and othjer big names are getting set. They have my backing for the La Liga title.

I am quite sure that Xavi is also preparing the team quite well heading into the next season. After all, he has made some big changes and brought in players who cost a lot of money for Barcelona even in this financial situation. So if the team does not perform well, it's his head. I believe Real Madrid is proving to be an extremely difficult opponent for any team next season.

But I also believe that if any team is able to beat Real Madrid in the upcoming season it is most likely to be Barcelona. I really hope that Barcelona does not end up being a failure again, especially after they have made some big investments ahead of the next season.
1893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 23, 2022, 06:27:03 PM
It can also be the first step for Borussia Dortmund to re-evaluate the strategy they want to use next season. Due to the disappointing results at the moment, Dortmund still has time to fix what is still lacking in order to stop Bayern Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga next season. Because Bayern Munich will still be very strong in the Bundesliga and still have the potential to continue to dominate in the Bundesliga.
I saw on television that Suarez was offered to Dortmund. Either this is just a rumor or it will happen. Maybe after losing Haaland they haven't found a replacement. Maybe Suarez could be a temporary option. Because Dortmund can always get new great young players and are in demand by many European clubs.
Regarding the German League, I agree that maybe Munich will still dominate, the map of player strength between clubs is uneven which makes me a little bored. Mane's arrival also made Munich stronger, although I didn't really pay much attention to the Bundesliga other than Munchen.

Luis Suarez can be a viable temporary option for Dortmund. Honestly, he can be a really helpful temporary option for any team in my opinion. The problem is that he cannot be a long-term replacement for any of the main players of a team like Dortmund. Especially if they want to compete against teams like Bayern Munich. All of us are pretty sure that Luis Suarez's last season was nothing extraordinary.

As he is already 35 years old, you cannot expect his skills to improve. There is just no way I can count on him.

And I am also quite sure that Bayern Munich is going to dominate the Bundesliga again even though they don't have Robert Lewandowski.
1894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market analysis on: July 23, 2022, 02:12:54 AM
Obviously, this is an old school pump and dump as others have said. And wait let us check the current price, as per (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/solana/)

Quote
$41.11 ↓ 4.55%

so much for those who believed that this is a genuine uptick on the price. Probably just go up because of the current surge in Bitcoin price. But we all know that pumpers can't sustain it's run. Sooner or later they will have to sell and take a quick profit leaving those noobs to suffer if they thought that this is real.

The bear market won't end so soon, it's just a slight bounce after days of decline and inadvertently make the noobs think that the market is really uptrend without knowing that the trap is waiting for them ahead.

Advice: those who intend to hold for a long time should continue to observe the market and wait for a new drop to continue accumulating, those who already have profits should take profits and wait for new opportunities, do not be greedy at this time .
1895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: July 23, 2022, 02:05:25 AM

If my wallet isn't hacked back then, I could have still hold a decent amount of Ethereum where I've bought it below $200.

This is also considered part of the risk in crypto investing, what happens when all your assets are put into crypto and that unfortunate thing happens again.

Cryptocurrencies, specifically bitcoin, are an investment that can be said to be better than gold for the long term, but riskier than gold. It's not only about price fluctuations but also other risks like attacks against storage wallets. So, in my opinion, we should invest both, maximize return and minimize risk.
investing in both is indeed the best solution. but for those who have experienced crypto trading and investing, keeping their gold is also likely to be difficult. there is a tendency to choose to invest in crypto assets such as Bitcoin or other assets rather than gold.

the solution, if you want to find a better return, then bitcoin will be better than gold. but we must know the risk that exists in bitcoin is also greater than gold.
while Gold which has less risk than bitcoin, has a smaller return. even tend to be stable.

If you are not a fan of gold, then you  shouldn't invest all your assets in crypto. I agree crypto is good, but there's no guarantee that it'll remain like that in the future, every investment comes with some risk. Having a diversified portfolio is one of the essential things you have to do. If you are experienced in trading and don't like gold then you can invest in stocks, forex or real estate which are all good investments.
1896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 22, 2022, 08:16:21 PM
It will also be better for Dortmund if Luis Suarez is successfully taken by Dortmund at this time because in the Bundesliga there are not many strong teams that are able to consistently and dominate at the top except for Bayern Munich. So in order for there to be stronger competition in the Bundesliga, it would be better if Luis Suarez was taken by Dortmund at this time.
I don't know why the issue of Suarez to Dortmund sounded in my ears today. He might be good to project as a short-term forward for Dortmund to replace Sebastien Haller. Suarez is still prolific even though he is currently 35 years old, but of course Dortmund is unlikely to get him a long-term contract.
So far there has been no confirmation of Suarez's situation to Dortmund, but I agree that Suarez might be a good option to consider during this season. His free transfer status means Dortmund won't have to spend a lot of money, so I'll be looking forward to more news on this.

I really doubt Luis Suarez is willing to say no if Dortmund actually approaches him. Luis Suarez's future does not seem to be very exciting based on the offers he is receiving since leaving Atlético Madrid. And if he does be able to play for Dortmund I think he will be able to play better once again. In addition, he didn't play very well last season, so I am also skeptical about that. As the prolific scorer that we all know him to be I don’t think that he quite lived up to the expectation. And no I don’t see how he’s equipped to be a successful replacement for Haller.
1897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 22, 2022, 08:11:19 PM
See how Thiago Silva is at Chelsea, even Serie A and Premier League in reality the Premier League gameplay is tougher but Thiago Silva can do it well. Thiago Silva is now 37 years old and Marcelo is now 34 years old, at that age Marcelo deserves to play in Serie A. If Marcelo has not decided to retire, then accepting an offer from Lazio is a good choice. You shouldn't equate or compare attacking players with defenders, that's an inappropriate comparison.
Although age can affect a player's fitness and performance, Mercelo looks like he could still play for a competitive league like Serie A. I would support him to go to Serie A instead of Ligue 1, but there has to be an official offer for him anyway.
I read the rumors about Marcelo and Lazio for a while, it looks good for both sides. However, no one has yet been able to convince me that he will join Lazio because those are just rumours. I remember about Alves, he is an even older player than Marcelo but he was still good at right-back at Barcelona last season after being without a club.

I heard that AC Milan is going to offer Marcelo a contract after he leaves Real Madrid. But I really don’t know if AC Milan has approached Marcelo about this. I think even though Marcello is an old player right now he can still play very well. And he will not have too many problems playing for Milan and still playing really effective football which can be appreciated at the top of the league. I think he is just waiting things out, and probably waiting for a better offer. Don’t assume that he’s going to retire. But his leaving Real Madrid was an indication that he is looking to take things a bit lightly from now on.
1898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ApeCoin vs Sandbox on: July 22, 2022, 03:52:11 PM
Sandbox seems to have more potential, but since both are altcoins, one is memecoins, the other is a trending metaverse. I think both are suitable for short term investment, although I prefer sandbox because it is more promising but I will choose Ape. I believe in short term Ape will have more hype because the Ape token comes from BAYC.

1900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to grow my wallet? on: July 21, 2022, 04:43:28 AM
When our coin price hit new ATH, i think we should sell it because it would have correction after hit new ATH.
As long as we sell with profit, i think it is OK to sell. Many people does the opposite, they panic sell because the coin price drop.
To grow our wallet, we should buy and sell with higher price than we buy it, our wallet will steady growing although with slow pace.

I agree, we should sell if it hits ATH and we make a profit. If it is a good coin, you can sell at ATH and then wait until it corrects to buy back.

We are here to make a profit so it is never wrong to sell for a profit. If it's shitcoins then don't ever buy them back after sold, with shitcoins it's very hard to repeat the ATH over and over again. For wallet growth, you should focus mainly on top coins like bitcoin, ethereum... only hold and buy when the price is low, and sell when the price is high. Your wallet is getting bigger and bigger.
