1901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [NPR] Did A Reporter Just Solve A Bitcoin Mystery? - Satoshi Found? on: October 04, 2011, 03:21:39 PM
That story was lame and does not prove anything. If he was Satoshi - He would not of done the interview at all.
1902  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1800 GH/sec] BTC Guild - 0% Fees, LP, SSL, API, 8 Decimal Payouts and more! on: October 04, 2011, 03:14:45 PM
something's broken. My miners are connected and getting shares but the stats page does not show I am connected at all.

round stats look bad too:

Shares per Block (24H)       1,681,177       Pool Speed       1624.91 GH/s

Last Block Awarded       11:08:38       Estimated Shares This Round       -1384626

The submitted shares will increase but Mh/s says zero, also after mining all night with ~11,000Mh/s my Rewards have not increased.
my stats are all 0s

1906  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it stabilizing? on: October 03, 2011, 12:48:22 PM
Stability is a tricky word that people do not like to use when talking about financial markets. I think the BTC values have found their stable bottom and can only go up from here. I also think that the Bitcoin world in general has gotten into a groove and stabilized it self to a certain extent. You see this especially in the mining world - people are coming down to earth and getting more realistic and this is a good thing. You are also seeing a wider spectrum of investment happening, people are taking the time and energy out of mining and into developing great Bitcoin related products and services - this is also a good thing Smiley

No one can know the future but my speculation is that BTC will continue to rise but at a very slow pace - we are not going to see anymore over night jumps in the double digit range - however if some new technology comes out becomes a game changer - the sky's the limits!

1909  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: ATTENTION MINERS: Rig Builders Competition - 25 BTC IN PRIZES ! on: October 03, 2011, 10:17:39 AM
This is a question that has been asked a lot - and understandably so.

The winning is based on votes, each account is only allowed one vote.

In order to vote you need to register an account. If you try to register multiple accounts and try to vote from the same computer the system will catch you.

1915  Other / Off-topic / Re: Creationists disbelieve in not just evolution, but now the periodic table. on: October 01, 2011, 05:48:42 PM
Creationist is too vague a term to incite any real reaction.

Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, all believe in some form of creator.
