It would be great if you can find some time for answering our emails the same way you find time to respond here! Its amazing how a single chinese engineer "ngzhang" manage to answer emails/design Icarus boards/develop software/test boards, and meet all his customers requirements in time "VIVA CHINA"! thats a very good point - you guys should hire a temp or a grad student or someone to handle customer service. a little bit of good customer service goes a long way. IMO it looks like they are just understaffed. I placed my order almost a week ago and still have not been given instructions to pay for my order. |

the 1gb models get close to $200 on ebay and half of these are the eyefinity six edition 2gb models
I posted a diamond 1gb 5870 for sale the other day for $175.00 + shipping and it sold within 5 mins of the post
maybe I could not get $200 for every 1gb model but I can certainly get close to that and certainly get that if not more for the 2gb models

im not willing to split this up at this time. Really the only way I would sell is the whole lot at once. This is because I am already upgrading my farm to FPGA - ive got two BFL singles on the way and if I am able to sell these rigs for around $3500 I would sell them all at once but not interested in parting them out, to be honest if I were to part these out I would do it on ebay because these cards are still selling for $200-$300 used on ebay.

I have been watching this thread and want to thank everyone who has participated lately. It's great to see discussion about if/how to improve the BFL code and firmware without all of the BFL bashing going on.
Gigavps: any tips on how I can actually order their products bro? I placed an order four days ago , sent multiple emails and calls , I can't get anyone from bfl to even talk to me, I know they must be busy but damn ... Is it that hard for them to setup an order and take my money? |

They're busy. They obviously want your order, but I imagine it's full steam ahead trying to put together and post out all the pre-orders first. I guess they haven't anticipated such huge demand, and the factory they've contracted with just overloaded, plus Chinese NY holidays, plus last year you can get 50BTC per block =))). I hope they'll start production ASAP. well can you call sunny back and tell him to call me! I got $1300 burning a whole in my dwolla and I want to get my order in queue! seriously, we are not asking much at all the requirements are a picture and some basic information which means take the time to fill anything at all in your profile - thats all it means Most people are not willing to share so much personal information as you're "demanding", not even for a prize.
You either cut back the personal information amount requested, or i'm sure the users you have now will just delete their accounts, and you'll be looking at a void that will never be filled. give me a break - go say that to facebook the point of all of this is - we want to give the prize out but the prize will be given to real users of the site not to a spammer or someone who just jumped on with their twitter ID and is too lazy to even ad a picture, if you dont like it than I apologize but this is the policy we set forth in the contest and one we are sticking to - besides your statement that people wont give out personal information is crap anyways because we will need some kind of address to send the prize to and I guarantee the winner will be happy to share that with us upon request.  thank you for your interest in CoinConnect |
