1081  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANNOUNCE] View .BIT Domains without any DNS Modifications or Special Software on: March 01, 2012, 01:38:42 PM
based on your suggestions I made some changes
URLs are now un-encrypted which will allow google to index them
also I enabled direct access and hot linking

for example you can link directly to wikileaks like this

http://bitviewer.net/browse.php?u=http://wikileaks.bit

just put whatever .bit site you want to browse in front of http://bitviewer.net/browse.php?u=

or you can be really slick and embed links like this
http://wikileaks.bit

hopefully this will get more people interested in and viewing .BIT domains
enjoy!

Can you make it like tor2web.org?

use the bit domain as a subdomain of your proxy site instead of people having to visit your site to enter the URL they wish to visit they just go straight to it.
It will also enable google to index those pages that nowadays he can't index and you'll get free search engine traffic, and maybe make some money by showing a little banner on the top Smiley

bitviewer.net encrypts the URLs google cant index them.

That was precisely my point... Maybe you should use another system Wink

ahh i missed your point originally - good idea thanks Smiley

Are you serious ?
I'd suggest you finish that comment with a happy face or an LOL before you make my shitlist, douchebag.

I know man it just seems too good to be true, its a very fishy situation, so far they are acting like they are working day and night shipping these things out but I so far have only seen proof of 3 actually being delivered.

one thing for sure there is more going on here then we (the community) know about.

OK because everybody said CGMiner was so great I decided to finally switch over (well mostly now since both babies are asleep  Wink ).  I have been able to get it to work on my single card rigs like my PC at home using this line:

cgminer -o http://gpumax.com:8332 -u 4f385447ccaa1017760af1b8 -p abc123 -o pool.ABCPool.co:8332 -u genericuser -p genericpw -I 9 --failover-only

Does that sound about right?  I figure I'll let afterburner and Trixx handle the clocks since I was able to get the memory down to 180.

My next question is what do I do about my multicard rigs?  I have 4 GD70s running 6870s.  In the past I have always made a worker for every card - that way I know if any specific card is acting up instead of guessing which one in a rig.  Is there any way to tell CGMiner to use one worker for one device and another worker for another?  In GUIminer this is easy as I just create a new worker for each card.

I didn't bother to make a config file - I'm assuming that's OK.

Pirate, you seem to done a great job getting the miner hangs worked out (guess it was a load balancing issue).  I redirected all hashing back to GPUMax this morning and not a single problem in last 16 hours  Grin

its best just to use one instance of cgminer for the whole rig - to take the guess work out use --gpu-reorder and it will order them the same way trixx does that way if see a card sick or something you will know which one it is

just ship to allinvain first since the OP is somewhat new and unknown. I totally vouch for allinvain - you can certainly trade with confidence with him.

As a gamer, i would not pay $200+ for that extra gig.

its not just for an extra gig btw, it also allows you to run 6 displays in eyefinity

if I listed one of these 2gb models for $250 on ebay it would sell within seconds - gauranteed.

1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: PoolServerJ - Tech Support on: February 29, 2012, 11:55:25 AM
its in there you just have to change the table section of the config to how you want it to report to your database

Wow 10% interest for 10 days? Even the NJ mob only charges 2% per week.

Does the NJ mob lend bitcoins over the internet to strangers they've never met before and to whom they can't break the kneecaps in case of no/late payment?
excellent point Smiley in the case of lending on the forum I guess the closest thing you can do is break the kneecaps of the persons reputation - which for some people might be worse than breaking actual knee caps Tongue

your new site is brilliant, us miners have needed an instant way to convert bitcoins into cash for a very long time - excellent work!
