Indian team was once know for its strong batting line-up. At the moment it is getting more attention for its poor batting. I am not sure how an Indian batter is unable to play on a home pitch.

Virat Kohli is literally struggling to score in this series. If you do not agree then just check his batting stats. Rohit Sharma was good in the first test match but now he has no clue on how to face a spinner. Pujara is done and shoul be dusted. County cricket performance should not be taken into consideration in the next test series. Shubhman Gill should remember that he got this job because Venkatesh Prasad went after KL Rahul.

The Indian team cannot always rely on the lower order. I mean there was a time when the whole team were dependent on the middle order. Things have completely gone wrong with the Indian side. The last match is all that they have to win the BGT.

Today few more things have been added to the ticketing. I checked with the terms and no more possibility to book through Bookmyshow. It shows Closed and does this mean that the tickets for the opening ceremony and the inauguration match is already filled. If so, the response is really good for WPL.

You can visit the stadium to buy tickets. I guess the online quota might be over but offline they might be still selling tickets. I also believe because of cheap ticket cost they are sold-out online. You cannot get IPL tickets for that price. Since it's the first year that why the tickets are dirt cheap. I also read that Kiara Advani, Kirti Sanon and AP Dhillon would perform in the opening ceremony which might also lead to full house.

What a Fantastic Marketing Strategy by BCCI!

WPL will commence on the 4th of March and tickets are now available for purchase on the BookMyShow app. Tickets are priced at INR 100 & INR 400 respectively. What made me my day was when I saw on the app that tickets are free for women on a first come first basis. Do you think any other board can beat this marketing strategy?

India has already lost 6 wickets and the lead is just 38 runs. Pujara has scored 46 runs and he might open up after his 50. Indian now need a few big overs to increase the lead. Iyer did try to do it but was not successful. The wickets are falling like Domino's. What they need now is someone who can support Pujara till the end of day 2. I am hoping Ashwin to take that responsibility.
1925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 02, 2023, 06:56:34 AM
Shubhman Gill out for just 5 runs. I was hopeful that he would try and stay on the wicket till the end of day 2. Not much run to chase but the top Indian batting order need to hold onto the wicket and form a partnership if they want to give a good lead to Australia. A lead of 150 runs would be excellent for India. At the moment the situation on the ground doesn't look that easy to chase 70 runs.
1926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 02, 2023, 05:38:22 AM
All out and 88 runs lead. Good comeback from the Indian team. This match might end today  Grin I am surprised at how fast the Australian batting order collapsed. Thanks to Umesh Yadav and Ashwin each taking early wickets today. It won't be easy for the Indian batting order to still chase 88 run lead. KL Rahul's replacement Shubhman Gill needs to prove his selection was justified in the second innings.
1927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 02, 2023, 03:44:00 AM
If anyone was unfortunate, it was the Indian women's team. Look at the way Harmanpreet Kaur got run out. I don't know whether it was unfortunate or just plain stupid, but that made them lose the match.

I do not think the Indian side was unfortunate. I believe they lost because they were not good enough against the Australian side. I also believe the controversial runout of Harmanpreet Kaur could have been avoided if she had dived rather than trying to stretch her bat. I do not understand why everyone is still thinking about this humiliating defeat as unfortunate or unlucky. Smriti Mandhana & Shafali Verma could have given a good start but failed to do so. Renuka Thakur who has been touted as a replacement for Jhulan Goswami was ineffective throughout the tournament. The problem with the Indian team was that they were overconfident rather being confident in this tournament.

A 47 runs lead is not that much but If Australia is able to get a lead of more than 150 runs then it won't be easy for Indian batters to chase those runs. The onus of stopping Australian batters largely depends on Ashwin and Jadeja. Already Jadeja has taken 4 wickets nothing has come from Ashwin. I am expecting Ashwin to start taking wickets today. These two bowlers hold the key for India's come back in this test match.
1929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 01, 2023, 07:38:36 AM
109 all out! Brutal bowling by the Australian spin attack. I am hoping that Jadeja &Ashwin utilizes the pitch in the same manners as the Australian bowlers.

Australia already lost their first wicket. It would not be easy for the Australian batters to chase a small target of 109 runs. I feel that this test match would be controlled by the bowlers and not the batters.
1930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 01, 2023, 06:40:46 AM
What a disaster! 7 wicket fell before the lunch break. India is in big trouble. The good news here is that the pitch on day 1 is helping spinners. I am hoping again Axar & Ashwin will take the responsibility and dig india out of this mess created by the upper order batters. Except Kohli & Bharat all others batter on that list were not able to even score 20 runs. Biggest contribution to Indian score in the first innings was from Iyer & the Pujara Grin

India VS Australia

The third test match in BGT will be played today in Indore. Steve Smith will be captaining the Australian side and I am expecting a good fight from the Australian side. Previously the other two matches were completely dominated by the Indian team as the Australian batters were seen struggling against the Indian spin attack.

I was going through the recent batting performance of KL Rahul which is completely in shambles. After removing him as VC of the test squad there is a high chance of KL Rahul being replaced by Shubhman Gill in this test and the next one.

  • India VS Bangladesh - 22 & 23
  • India VS Bangladesh - 10 & 2
  • India VS Australia - 20
  • India VS Australia - 17 & 1

It's high time that Australia should also make an inspiring comeback in the BGT series.

The above statement cracked me up! Grin Indore pitch does support pacers more than spinners but I am pretty sure they will struggle against the bowling attack of Shami & Shiraz. The skipper is different and he can put some energy into the team but that does not mean it will be easy for them against India.

Yesterday's kind of ending, of the match between England and Newzealand, happens once in a while.

Rishab Panth may not be able to play cricket for the next 2 years.

This important update was provided by Sourav Ganguly who is the director of cricket for Delhi Daredevils. A big blow for Indian cricket team and DD. He is a rising star of Indian cricket but a gap of 2 years will completely destroy his career. There are many contenders who are ready to claim his position. All this happened because of his reckless driving. The only positive part about that accident was that he did not die on that day.

Man in form Foakes is out. What a blow to England! Southee takes the crucial wicket. Only 7 runs are needed to win but England has only one wicket left. The last hour of this match has been more exciting than the full day. The game is evenly poised and the team that has the nerve will win this match. What an amazing test match! The last pair and 6 runs are needed.

Edit:
Anderson charges and hits a 4. England is one shot away to draw this match and two runs away to win the series.

But we surely will be seeing crypto trading being accepted and taxation on income from crypto which is already present in India.
May be there will be a consensus on how much taxation would be implemented on it and few policies that G20 will bring out together.
All in all things will be baselined for cryptocurrencies which is a good sign since a vast majority of people are still concerned over its legalization.

What I am more excited about is a G20 framework on tax. India has already implemented a heft tax policy but many G20 member countries are not charging such hefty taxes on crypto earnings. By October this year, we should be able to hear some positive news on this topic. EU has been pretty much progressive in allowing crypto as an alternate pay mode in local stores and e-commerce websites. If India allows the same then it would be a convenient mode for making purchases both online & offline for the Indian crypto community.

You won't be able to stop those people by notifying them in this way. I have received a lot of notifications on Bitcointalk telegram bot after my last post in this thread, but most of those replies aren't related to my post. Some users make a lot of unnecessary quotes while making a post. You may report those posts if you consider them as spammy.

Some of those quotes are near about half a page long and are just done to complete the signature campaign quota. Some of those replies do not make any sense and I have started reporting them but before doing that I wanted to warn those who have been doing it. Hence created the post and after that, I have seen fewer spammy replies than before.

Good on you that you posted it here and i hope some of the posters follow the guidelines and don't spam cause it's irritating. Sorry out of the merits otherwise I would have sent some on your way.

Good to see you noticed my post bro. Let's start reporting such spam  Smiley

England only needs 48 runs in 49 overs. I am expecting a complete whitewash by the England team but fear that this might not happen as England does not have a lot of wickets on hand. Still an absolutely stunning performance by the English team in this series. Good comeback by the Kiwis!

The third test match between India and Australia will be played tomorrow. I assume KL Rahul will be replaced by Shubhman Gill as Rahul was recently removed from vice-captain responsibility. Steve Smith is the new captain of the Australian side. It would be interesting to see what changes he would incorporate to defeat the Indian team in the next match.

Big blow for MI and the Indian team as Jasprit Bhumrah may not be fit to play this year's IPL and the upcoming ODIWC. It seems his back injury appears to be more serious than it initially appeared. I am not concerned about the ODIWC as India has quality bowlers who can replace him but MI might have a tough time in this season of IPL. He has not played any cricket for the last 5 months and with his injury getting worse I think he would not be able to come back anytime soon. Such a situation for a good bowler like him can dent his career path as it gives other Indian bowling talents an opportunity to grab his position. We all know how competitive Indian cricket has become and the amount of talent pool India has in cricket.

Congratulation to the Australian women's team for winning the T20WC for the sixth time. Both Men and Women cricketers from Australia have established a knack for winning prestigious ICC tournaments.
1938  Local / India / Did anyone viewed the Youtube video on G20: Crytpo Ban by Kashif Raza? on: February 27, 2023, 02:32:09 AM
If not then you should. It is a nearly 19 minutes video that primarily discusses about the recent G20 meeting on cryptocurrency regulation and policy held in Banglore. It was chaired by our FM and the outcome of this meeting clearly stated Crypto cannot be banned in any of these G20 countries but a policy needs to be created around it. By October 2023 we would be hearing a lot about those policies.

I am so much amazed to see that fellow members of BTT are watching and replying on this thread about an ODI match that does not have any significance. Then they quote multiple times on the same reply above them. Something like this:
