It is a fact that Liverpool have spent a lot of money for signing Darwin Nunez. He hasn't proven himself in a much bigger league like the Premier League yet also. However I don't think that it is fair to judge him by his performance in their friendlies. He would show his real performance after the season starts. I think for a player like Darwin who has not proven himself international and in European top flight level he was over priced. Many players come to the English premier league and didn't do well so for a player who is not proven in England and with just one or two season wonder it is a huge gamble on him for that price and Liverpool will be praying to their God and hoping they don't count their loss on this deal.

Eriksen is more to experience than those bunch of mediocre offensive midfielders in the squad, Bruno Fernandes who plays similar role has no impact in their midfield he is just running around and he is not a good passer of ball, Eriksen will bring his wealth of experience as into the team as a creative midfielder and a good passer of ball, he will also help the youngsters in the team to develop and will assist their attackers in scoring many goals, De Jong plays as a central midfielder of course Erik Ten Hag knows how he will play the duo in the midfield if De Jong eventually sign for Man Utd honestly both player can compliment each other in the team. |

Nottingham which has been promoted this season looks quite active in the transfer market, compared to the other two promoted teams, Nottingham is the team that has brought in the most players so far, they have brought in 6 new players and most of them are defensive players, now they have spent almost 70 million euros to bring in new players and it looks like they will stop at nothing to strengthen the squad and maybe we will see some new transfers from them this season.
