Manchester United have agreed with Ajax for the transfer of Argentinian defender Lisandro Martinez. They will pay a transfer fee of 67 million Euro. A five-year contract will be signed.
They put the defense in safe hands. They no longer have to play with the time bomb like Harry Maguire. This may be the best transfer the Red Devils have made this year.

In this case I see something else because now that Lisandro Martinez is there the chances for Varane are slim now.
Apart from his not-so-good performance, Varane is also experiencing more problems in his legs at this time and indirectly when Martinez arrives, his little chance is getting smaller.
Maguire doesn't seem to be bothered although I don't really like this because if I'm not mistaken Ten Hag will still give him the title of captain.

Anybody else think it’s a little low behaviour by Ronaldo? He’s effectively whoring himself out to anybody who is in the CL. Maybe he should just do his job & play for Man Utd.

I understand that he is very ambitious about playing in the Champions League. But if there is no team interested in him seriously then I also think that he shouldn't make things harder for himself and Manchester United also. Ronaldo isn't an unprofessional player in the end. He must respect Manchester United's values and his great years here. It started to seem like he will stay here so he had better collect himself and focus on his game. By not joining trainings etc. he is doing a bad thing to the team.

Their is nothing their if Ronaldo does not play the Champions league,  he should just dedicate next season to contribute to the success of Manchester United. I'm sure Manchester United will be very better next season, and it will be nice if he is among the squad next season.

Manchester United made the right decision by taking this approach. And I am also happy to say that they are not obsessing over bringing in attackers to the team. Seems like they finally understood that the attackers will not be able to do too much by themselves if there is not enough supply from the midfield. Additionally, the defense is quite weak. This is a really smart transfer for Manchester United. And for some reason, I am also starting to think, what if Manchester United are planning to give Harry Maguire the captaincy in the next season? Because if they do, they will just be playing with fire.

Guardiola will not face any problems for Oleksandr Zinchenko, if he leaves the team. Because Oleksandr Zinchenko is not an important player for Manchester City. But I think Guardiola should strengthen his defense. While he brought in talented players like Haaland to strengthen the forwards, he did not do enough to strengthen the defense. Manchester City needs an experienced defender now.

Am surprised you did rate the Ukrainian International Oleksandr Zinchenko down this way. I consider him one of the best talents in the Manchester City squad. Let's face the fact, his got skill, speed and some shot power to support. Last season was a very hard time for him, with the on going war in his nation with Russia and the distress it would put him in, his sure not to be in his best but, his by far one of the best talents in Manchester City. Perhaps this is some deal to stimulate Arsenal to release Saka for them.
Let's not forget, R. Sterling and G. Jesus have left the team on transfer so, the options isn't as before and this could mean trouble for the bench.

Manchester City is full of great players right now and it does feel like Manchester City does not need Oleksandr Zinchenko at this moment. But I don't deny that he has got skills. His skills are really good. But that is not something that Manchester City needs right now. And if he plays for any other team he will be able to get a lot more play time compared to what he got at Manchester City.

I don't understand why he says Zinchnko is a very important player in Manchester City. I don't really understand how he measured his importance. Someone that is not a first team player cannot be that important to a club.
Saying why Guardiola is more interested in his attack than the defence could be his pattern of play. He believes that if he can score 4 - 5 goals evey match, it will be difficult for the opposition to equalize such goals. Besides while playing any club, Manchester City always has the larger possession. So Manchester City is not a defensive club.

He is a good player. Maybe he will also be a very important player in any other team but not in Manchester City right now. Because Manchester City has a lot of better players compared to him. It's all about the necessity and he is not needed in the City at this moment.  But I am sure he will be a valuable asset for other teams. And I also think that Manchester City is going to play aggressive football in the next season because that's how they are shaping the time right now.

Sterling isn't playing enough time with City lately, he wasn't in the starting eleven in many games so it is normal for him to find a new experience elsewhere. Being a left winger with Grealish in the team also will make things less easier for both to play full game. G.Jesus also moved to guarantee playing more in another team since Haaland joined City.

Raheem Sterling is indeed a very talented player. Raheem Sterling's performances with Manchester City have been quite good in the last few seasons. I am thinking the same way. Rahim Sterling has been at Manchester City for 7 seasons. And he won several titles with Manchester City. And he is now 27 years old. And will improve his performance with the experienced Tuchel.

Rahim Sterling was surely on his best at Manchester City, and he needs much better but sadly due to Pepe rotation policy he was not happy and now with the arrival of Haaland its good decision from both parties because Manchester City management was feeling they need some better attacking power, and they bring one of the most talented strikers in their team for better results and then Rahim Sterling was also had right for having his desired team which is now Chelsea which was looking for quality striker hopefully with this signing they will have better results in next season and also able to have their best because new management doing some good things and bringing quality players which are under Tuchel radar for their better chances in Premier League and Champions League title hopes.

It is a fact that Liverpool have spent a lot of money for signing Darwin Nunez. He hasn't proven himself in a much bigger league like the Premier League yet also. However I don't think that it is fair to judge him by his performance in their friendlies. He would show his real performance after the season starts. I don't think that his end will be like Romelu Lukaku in this league. I believe in Nunez to keep a solid performance in this tough league also and to have an impressive season.

After end of Golden era under Sir Alex Ferguson Manchester United is struggling badly and have too many coaches sadly most of them fail to give good results and in last season they were the worst top ranked team which completely fail to give any solid result which was now concern for management and fans with this all they have done some good work and now have a quality coach with some positive hopes because this could be game changer for them in both ways they can go back at top.

Or they could be more down big gamble was played, but start is going good even still few things need to improve but after having two preseason games they are giving positive improvement which is good hopefully this change could be in their favor and Erik ten Hag will bring back their golden time with so many trophies.

Unfortunately, none of the clubs that play in the Champions League seem to really want to sign him. So I think it's time for Ronaldo to accept the reality and he has to act more mature and should put his ego aside. Man United has a very big role in Ronaldo's football career and with their current condition (which has not won a trophy for a long time), then this is the time for Ronaldo to return the favor to Man United.

After his attempt to move from Manchester United was unsuccessful, Ronaldo had to accept reality and had to be ready to play in the Europa League. Ronaldo was unable to realize his ambition because no club was interested in signing him, Chelsea, which was most often rumored to be Ronaldo's next destination, did not show any serious intention to sign him from Manchester United. If he could have found some decent stuff then I would be understanding of it, but he didn't and he failed, so why focus on this and assume that it's the right of a player to get out, when he can't even find a team to pay his money?
