Look at the position of the dices when it puts on the rolers, then usually, the color below or the color you did not see wins. I usually bet after the dices are arranged so that i can see its position.
Every time I bet, I always choose color white but I don't do it consecutively because the odds became less. However, I still end up losing (maybe I'm just not so lucky lol). This was a cool strategy, I'll definitely try this the next time I go to carnival and see if it works Smiley. Thanks.
1942  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There is always a chance on: February 27, 2019, 06:40:23 PM
Luck will happen by chance and it is not for everyone but it is better to use some skills whether you have luck or not, at least you tried to test your luck.
Yes, indeed. That's why I avoided betting on lotteries after that my first experience to it. I already foresee that getting losses becomes more frequent here compare to other kinds of gambling. So now I just more focused on strategic-based games such as Texas Holdem, Chinese Poker and others like sports betting because I knew to myself that I can have the edge to win as long as I practice my skills and critical thinking.
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the odds of winning the casino on: February 27, 2019, 05:11:03 AM
<snip>

Your comment makes no sense, games have very different odds and the best ones have a house edge lower than 1%.  It is very helpful to have a basic understanding of math and probability before going into gambling.
Chill bro Grin. Anyway, I agree to you that you should have at least a basic knowledge about the math behind every gambling games because that helps a lot. You can put these things into your consideration which helps you to decide whether it is right to engage or not.

For example, Slot machines, roulettes and dices offers you a small chance of winning due to wide variety of choices. If you will do some permutatations, there are 216 possible outcomes assuming that there are four dices (6^4) rolled in the table. Imagine that?
1944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: February 27, 2019, 02:05:16 AM
It's more on luck but somehow skill is an advantage. It's more longer a luck because your winning depends on the card of your opponent and also depends on the card given to you.
Indeed! These what I recently realized. Before, I do believe that skills rules greater than luck when it comes in playing poker but as I practice playing through the help of poker game apps and spending many hours my perspective changed. I say so because when there are times that I had a bad card and try to bluff my opponents I still end up losing — big loss (lucky for me that it was just a game). This only means that pure tactics cannot outwit the lucky ones all the time. Or maybe it's just the odds of winning in a game is very different from the real play that's why I always lose, what do you think?
1945  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: February 26, 2019, 11:30:56 PM
Many but not all gamblers are claiming they gamble for fun and pass time. I was just thinking. If it is the reason why people gamble then why not play online games?
You have a good point in there so here's my own reason about that. I also play gamble but mainly just for fun, I am not saying only for fun, there's a big difference between the two. I want to earn as well, who doesn't want to? To keep it simple, I am gambling to feel excitement but also have a chance of winning money at the same time unlike playing online games that only put smile in your face but your pocket remains "unhappy".
1946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MOBA Gambling on: February 26, 2019, 02:44:02 PM
<snip>

there is . i already saw and i actually stumble upon those sites  .you can place bets and play with other players in a real time battle or pvp as they call it but there is no moba genre yet . only few gambling sites that has a moba genre but you cant bet on your own gameplay . you can only bet on existing pro players and teams .
To be more specific, what's the name of the gambling site and what game is it? Maybe I could try playing if I'm familiar witb it and if I have some time.
<snip>

same here . i also love to play that moba game and i do also want to attest my skills with money involved for more thrilling and exciting experience . on other local forum i saw a thread that they host local tournaments , they form a group thru telegram but the bets are in the form of prepaid load  .
That was great but I just curious why the prize pool is in form of prepaid load? Why not in cash or crypto? I mean, what will you do with so many prepaid load assuming that you win? Yes! A prize is a prize but much better if it is in the form of money (whether crypto or fiat) so that you can buy anything aside from prepaid load.
1947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lessons from poker on: February 26, 2019, 01:44:50 PM
How can I say that you are a pro gambler? You are stating by yourself on this:

Quote
For a couple of years, I had a lot of success betting on football from very obscure leagues. I had an algorithm which was great at spotting games where bookmakers had not priced up correctly.
What? I don't see any thing on that quote which supports your statement. OP mentioned that he became successful on sports betting and not on poker. Nah, nevermind.

Anyway, IMO it doesn't mean that you are already considered a  pro player just because you have many years of experience. That's not the only qualification. It also depends on how good your skills are, your win rate and how big the assets (money and possessions) you earned through this game.
1948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MOBA Gambling on: February 26, 2019, 12:13:14 PM
What are you trying to say is that why there no such gambling site which lets the player to bet on their own match with the opposing team? Hmm, sounds interesting because the usual way is that the spectators are the one who bet on the team they like. But you know what, betting in your own match is not new, most of it just happen under the table.

If that concept was implemented in the near future then I would love to participate because I also play MOBA games especially Mobile Legends (a popular online game in smartphones).
1949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: February 26, 2019, 06:53:30 AM
Are they mainly looking for money, excitement, socialization? Please vote and leave a comment below in case you want to add something to your answer.
For sure that the majority of gamblers not only within crypto world but also outside of it do such thing in order to earn money. I am confident that it is the main reason of people even without conducting surveys at all Grin.

In my case, I admit that I also want to earn few bucks every time I gamble but this is not my primary reason, having fun while spending my leisure time does. And I think having such kind of mindset is good after all because it prevents me to become hungry of money thus avoiding addiction Smiley.
1950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: February 25, 2019, 01:59:23 PM
There is a huge difference in the playstyle that Jordan used to play and in which Lebron James plays right now. Opinions may differ on the way that they like to see basketball been played. I don't blame any of my counterparts and I respect if they believe so. For me, they are both great players that have given us amazing times in the NBA.
his popularity was twice the one of Lebron today.
Whether you are a Jordan fan or not, that was a fact Smiley. One of the proofs is that his name never fades in the basketball industry until now. Every famous all star players of this generation are still compared to him as if he is the standard to be followed lol. Oh! I forgot, he is the only player who got a very own shoe brand, that one definitely speaks a lot.
1951  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not just gamble with fiat? on: February 25, 2019, 11:37:16 AM
Whats even the benefit of using crypto to gamblefor you guys?
If you are a crypto holder then it is already beneficial, very obvious Roll Eyes. Aside from offering fast pace of gambling transactions and let's you gamble even you're at home only, for me the biggest benefit of crypto gambling is the fact that it let's you to have a glimpse and experience at the same time the probable way of gambling in the future. And besides, it is just amazing to know that mankind continue to improve even in this small aspect of life Smiley.
1952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Union Bank of the Philippines Launching Cryptocurrency ATM on: February 24, 2019, 08:43:57 AM
Still in confusion here about cryptocurrency automatic teller machine.
I know bitcoin is not a legal tender so what does the ATM dispense or is it only for online purchasing and uses?
It ie "automated" not "automatic". Nevermind, it was just a simple mistake wnd besides it has the same implications somehow Grin.

This btc ATM let's you to buy and sell crypto with the exchange of fiat. In simple words, you are just like doing a btc withdrawal in Cebuana Lhuiller or cash in to through 7 Eleven. The different thing is you are only facing a machine, nothing more nothing less — no clerks at all.
1953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 145: Blachowicz vs Santos Prediction and Info Thread on: February 24, 2019, 03:26:17 AM
The first 2 rounds of Santos vs Blachowicz seems pretty boring for me except for the capoeira flare of Santos before the end of 2nd round, it just so amazing to see an acrobatic move coming from a light heavyweight fighter Smiley.

The exciting part starts right after the bell rings for the 3rd round. I was shocked when Jan suddenly dropped down from one of Thiago's counter and feel helpless after receiving multiple hammer fists, Thiago did a great job there. He beat the 4th contender, nice!
1954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There is always a chance on: February 24, 2019, 01:26:21 AM
"If you are not in, you cannot win!"
I won't buy with these words. It's also the same as, "you can't win if you won't gamble".
Well, congratulations to the family it's a life changing win.
Me too, I am not persuaded by those words because I know that I might lose in the end. Yeah! I know that is true, you really can't win if you will not join but knowing that there is only a very very small chance for you to hit the jackpot in a lottery, not mentioning that as the number of choices expands the probability decreases, then I always decide to refuse.

For me, those winners are just lucky — just pure luck. That's the only explanation I think for that scensrio.
1955  Economy / Economics / Re: the future of crypto is good or bad on: February 23, 2019, 01:05:06 PM
As you can see, btc's price expand from less than a dollar on 2010 to about $20k in 2017 and you still doubting in its future? Hmm, you're right somehow, btc don't have a good future because it has a great future Grin. I'm not saying that this thing will no longer change forever since we all know that our market is unpredictable but I do believe on btc's potential and capabilities to change the system of financing. You should too.

Investing in crypto, btc to be specific, definitely bring you something good as long as you are knowledgeable, careful and put your dedication into it. Remember, always choose wisely.
1956  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you play loteries ,did you won something on: February 23, 2019, 11:12:10 AM
I could still remember the first and I gues will be the last time I bet on a lottery. That time, I bet on a so called "SwerTres" wherein you need to pick 3 numbers from 0-9 and if you hit those three then congrats you win! Unfortunately, I didn't won as what I've expected. If you tbink that it is easy to win such game then think again. I see that other players who play this only win once in a while, I think the accumulated money they spend is still greater on the money they will.

1959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I won't give up on: February 22, 2019, 01:49:16 PM
Yeah! Claiming free satoshis from faucets is a nice move to start you crypto journey but I don't advice anybody to just stick here because I once used multiple faucets as well so I know the feeling of getting deceived by small amount of btc in exchange of time and other losses (high electric bill, internet fee etc.)

If you start claiming in faucets as early as the beginning days of btc (during 2010) then hodl it 'til now then maybe I change my mind because you can claim 5 btc that time which means a lot today.

On the other hand, I also don't prefer joining airdrops because most of them are just shitcoin. It is a fact, let's admit it.

I just want to know something. Is this hidden message was done through the help of "patrol" thing? Yes or no?
