941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: March 23, 2020, 09:08:19 AM
I am mainly interested in coins from 2014 and older, but anything you deem "old" is welcome! Smiley

I might hit you up if I find your coin interesting Cheesy
I already forgot all of my altcoins. I bury them in the past because I can't feel their worth Grin. Well, at least it taught me a wonderful lesson — that we should hoard wiser, not hoard more.

Anyway, ever heard of first alt which offers first mobile mining? It's name is ETN and I might say it was an overhyped coin during the time I bought them.
942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How About Bitcointalk raise Money in BTC to Donate on fight against Coronavirus on: March 23, 2020, 06:03:57 AM
I suggest that it will be good if the platform itself (Bitcointalk) will provide BTC Address for that Donation to avoid theft or unrated address from unknown and after Contribute enough the transaction of exchange to get tools for help have to be done from those stores which accept Bitcoin, that help will be for the currently most affected country/countries
You have a good idea. This forum is the best place where all crypto enthusiast all around the world unite and show our support to eradicate this pandemic. However, that's the problem as — we are too big to handle such kind of fund raising. Who is willing here to stand as the leader? Who is willing to assess the funds entering? Who are going to buy supply of necessities especially alcohol and masks? No offense but I'm getting a little bit skeptical that someone here will volunteer himself which is understandable because it was a huge responsibility.

How can I add images, pictures and other infographics?
Hello, here's the thread that may help you a lot when it comes to uploading images here in our forum: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2958771.0 . You can learn there how to upload, resize and even make clickable images. Actually, until now I go for this thread every time I resize images Grin (I'm so lazy, I prefer to access a new tab instead of copying it on my clipboard). Good luck to you Smiley.
944  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 22, 2020, 03:51:35 PM
Weren't he known for wrestling with a bear?
You are just joking, right? Don't tell me that what you are thinking of Khabib's sparring partner would be a bear? Nah, a hell no! Yeah, he wrestle with a baby bear when he was a child but mate he is an adult now and it would be dangerous if he will fight a bear with the same size (the most insans idea we ever could think of). Okay fine let's assume that Khabib can match a bear's strength but it was still a bad idea because of intellectual gap. Only his fellow human can push him into his limits and improve as a fighter Smiley.
945  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [MERIT] Giveaway Thread on: March 22, 2020, 10:25:59 AM
Congratulations mate, cheers! If you were able to reach this point, I'm sure reaching higher ranks is not impossible for you as well. Keep up the good work mate Smiley.

Anyway, here's my entry: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5230246.msg53986985#msg53986985 . I don't know if this is your definition of "helpful" but I'm giving a shot. Even I though I'm not the smart type member, I still give my very best advice for those who need it.
946  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything could be gambling on: March 22, 2020, 06:20:45 AM
Let me ask you, what is your experience towards the gambling attitude, especially now almost everyone is in quarantine, what did you do about it?
Me? Oh soo boring. I just Eat - Watch Movie - Sleep - Repeat. How unfortunate for me that no one knows how to play even a blackjack here Roll Eyes. Playing Mobile Legends with my friend (You read it right! I'm stocked here in their house due to lockdown) and betting could work but I forgot that I'm very bad at MOBA. I might just end with empty pockets if I still pursue Cheesy. Thus, I'll be silent for now and hope crisis days will be over ASAP.
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEWS] COVID-19 Hits Ethereum Community Conference, Six People Test Positive on: March 22, 2020, 03:02:53 AM
Those with symptoms are advised to self-isolate and get themselves tested.
Not only those people who already have early symptoms of covid 19, but also all the people he interacted with and all the people who interacted by those people as well. That's a tough work to do, it is very hard to trace all the people contacted by those 6 positive cases but that's the best solution to avoid worse scenario Sad.
948  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona has killed economy of many businesses on: March 22, 2020, 12:31:42 AM
As the vaccine has not been discovered yet
US already did their first vaccination trial actually, let's just wait what result it could bring to them. If it will be positive then good for us — if we could not kill the virus for now then having a shield against it is a huge help Smiley.
the more our economy will suffer, everyday the number of infected people has been rapidly growing and though a specific countries are only affected but still globally it would affect the economy as most of the affected countries are major economic leaders in the world.
That was sad to know. Though rich countries such as China and Japan are now recovering, small countries who are infected as well are just starting to mature. Plus with undisciplined countrymen, the rate of spreading rises Sad.
949  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are so many people who get addicted on gambling? on: March 21, 2020, 08:12:50 AM
Not all people were able to manage themselves perhaps due to problems, they can afford to lose, or they are just bored; we don't know. We can't bear them them to stop what they are doing but we can encourage them to just gamble with moderation.
The only reason I think of why they continue to gamble despite of all circumstances is because of money Roll Eyes. I don't believe if they tell me that their reasons are like what you've said. Having problems? Hmm, maybe that's a valid reason because they can serve it as their gateway of forgetting their problems for the meantime. But saying they are just bored or even the fact they can afford to lose, nah! It's a very insane move and no one (with right mentality) would ever do this.
950  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Alvarez vs. Golovkin: The Trilogy we've all been waiting for! on: March 21, 2020, 05:18:13 AM
Glad that we now have a poll here, I voted Canelo winning by a unanimous decision, he is now a totally different fighter, he just won the cruiserweight title and with that he proves that he can take a punch from heavier category, the fight will be very exciting to watch the only way that can stop that excitement is the Corona Virus let's pray that the virus will be contain before the fight happens.
This fight still makes you excited? Really? It's your opinion so I respect it Cheesy. It doesn't make any hype for me at all because their past rematch already gave us a clear conclusion. Imagine, if Canelo able to beat GGG before then what mkre of doing it again? If Golovkin really starve for victory, he must now think of a tactic that Canelo can't read. Well, in all fairness, they had a close fight last time so I understand that promoters are raising for a rematch. I just hope there will be a knockout this time to settle everything once and for all Grin.
951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin for coronavirus on: March 21, 2020, 02:36:21 AM
Quote
CoronaCoin, on the other hand, has been criticized by users of Reddit, a social networking platform. The community is leaning toward an end to the skepticism about the coin's features, as the message indicates that investors will benefit from the spread of the virus. One Reddit user expressed his opinion: “Honestly, this is immoral.”

“SHOULD be a special place in hell, only for these investors, developers, users, everyone involved,” commented another.

When asked if the token can be considered morbid, Kemp said:  “WHO is currently issuing active pandemic bonds. How is this different?”

I just want to emphasize other's review regarding this coin. Look at this, they are all negative, in fact mine is negative too and I will understand if most of you here got a negative feedback as well. I don't know whether they just use the current situation for making profits or really want to use their coin for good thus I give them the benefit of the doubt. But I tbink this so called Coronacoin is unnecessary at the highest level Undecided. If their only intention is to help then there are more direct means of it, they should not relate it with business.
952  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hodl altcoins or..? on: March 20, 2020, 04:02:43 PM
There is plenty of time for us to gather Bitcoin and altcoins as the next pump will not happen until 2022 ...there is no way for Bitcoin to have a pump this year or 2021 as the world have important things to solve instead of pumping Bitcoin.
I agree on you on the part that Bitcoin will not pump this year even knowing that the next halving will come. We are now currently facing a pandemic and I expect that the world economy will decline too because of this. So anticipating that many will focus and invest their money this year sounds a little bit unreasonable. Everyone is busy panicking (sad to say) and doing their very best just to survive in these hard times. But anyway, may I ask you why your prediction is 2022? Is it your gut feel only?
953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 20, 2020, 10:52:50 AM
Why would not Khabib train in Dagestan ? Smiley Sure he wont caught virus on fresh air in the mountains. The only trouble he could get there - army of fans Cheesy
Well, I'm sure that his coach will not allow such thing for sure because the risk is very high. They can't afford Khabib to get sick.
P.S. If he is training alone, then who are his sparing partners? I've heard about shadow boxing, but what about shadow wrestling ? Cheesy
That's what I'm thinking about as well. Hmm, maybe Javier don't mean his statement literally. What do you think? Maybe what he really mean is that their gym will solely occupied by Khabib along with his practice partners for the meantime. Mate you can't practice wrestling alone, yeah you can do drills but actual practice still matters.
954  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: March 20, 2020, 06:40:04 AM
Which country's government will be the most affected by the COVID-19 global pandemic, and be the first to go bankrupt, and default?
Honestly, the first thing come to my mind is of course the first country affected which is China. But since we already heard on news that they are now recovering and near to go back to normal then I just get rid of the idea. Besides, they are one of the most superior country so I don't think this pandemic will be the cause of their fall down.

Anyway, no offense mate but you should now stop running those things on your mind right now. Much better if all of us will become optimistic during the time of crisis and adding prayers too. Instead of spreading bad vibes, let's focus more on the bright side please Smiley.
955  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Focus on your goal. on: March 20, 2020, 04:15:19 AM
I have read so much thread asking on how could they earn from this forum, actually there is no wrong on asking about that, let us not be hypocrite we are all here to earn money and to gain knowledge.
Good for you that you also said "to gain knowledge" because I'm about to contradict you already Cheesy. But you know what? How sad that there are really existing members (especially the new created accounts) that just came here solely because of money. Right after they heard about sig campaigns and bounties, they suddenly jump here without knowing that it's not so simple. Tendency, they spam everywhere but I'm glad that such cases are now minimial due to Merit system. With this only the people with pure intentions will remain Smiley
This forum is applicable for gaining that both, that is what I like the most in this forum, Our earnings in this forum will come if we get old here, just focus on creating useful posts and creating information that will help people who will read your posts.
Just a reminder, don't stressed out yourself on earning merits. Just enjoy and do your part as a responsible member here and good karma will follow Smiley.
956  Other / Off-topic / Re: Top Matches in sports you want to watch again and again on: March 20, 2020, 03:50:08 AM
Then, For me, it would be the Fight Between Pacquiao and Marquez (all of their fights) although I know there are better fights than theirs. those two created a rivalry on which boxer is better than the other which made it the best boxing matches for me since. what's better is that their fights inspired a lot of people(at least in my area and the gym I used to practice to) to pursue boxing.
Oh! Nice sequel. love that one as well but what I love the most among Pacquiao's fights is when he faced Hatton. I really idolized Hatton that time but my fellow Filipino Pacquiao just brutally murdered him at an instant lol Grin. Watching how he threw that jaw cracking knockout punch that made Hatton sleep is the best! It's like a punch from hell mate, soo cool. It make me cringe every time I watch it hooh Shocked.
957  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk Memes! on: March 19, 2020, 03:12:11 PM
OP's last meme say a lot. What a way of addressing a strong message to the higher officials here in a humorous manner Grin. To be honest, all of really need such kind of feature here in our forum, it will surely ease our burden of digging on our post history just to check whether someone replied on our post.

This thread is cool. I really love memes and I can say that I'm good at it since I received few merits the last time I posted here (during the btctalk anniversary contest). Stay tune to my entries Smiley.
958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Break You Have On Not Gambling on: March 19, 2020, 10:23:49 AM
Mine is only 4 months. That time I only focused on my review for my board examination. My daily routine during my review is just Eat - Review sleep a little bit then Review again Cheesy. I have no time for gambling that time or even play mobile games. Now that I fortunately passed and now a licensed ME, let's see how things go. I make small bets now but other problems (debts and adult responsibilities I guess) still hinder me to go back to normal lol.
959  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: March 19, 2020, 09:35:51 AM
will you stop gambling just to have a good image this coming campaign and how will you defend yourself if accused as a gambler.
You can get different answers for this. Some might say that they will absolutely stop gambling to improve his image — to become a role model. Some also might say that they will not stop, maybe they will just hide such dark side and continue withe campaign. But whatever answer you neither right or wrong because this one depends from person to person basis Grin. If I will be asked, I will join the campaign if it really poke my interest but I can't promise that I stop gambling. You can't say that I'm already a bad person tho, I'm am who I am.

https://www.facebook.com/587803194998190/posts/888130958298744/?app=fbl

Check this out guys! Head coach Javier Mendez said that Khabib is the only one allowed to train in their gym right now. What do you guys think about this? Hmm for me it was a good move especailly that the fight night is coming soon (just hoping it will not be cancelled) and they can't afford Khabib getting sick because of the recent virus. Actually, it was a super precautionary measure so props to him Grin. Well maybe some of you might see this as an act of a little bit selfishess since other fighters can't train but for me that's understandable. Such sacrifice is nothing compare to the pride Khabib can bring for their gym and for all of them Smiley.
