^^ Crowd has been excellent so far in this series but not every venue attracts this much crowd tho.

There are many valid reasons for this like Shitty facilities, loop-sided fixtures, or fewer tickets for sales like the recent match (only 20k -ish).

Bad news coming from Australian dressing room David Warner won't be playing the last two test match because he has fractured his left elbow today. As per news article he is expected back before the ODI series. Travis head might continue to open the Australian batting. He did played well in the second innings of the second test match.

Indian cricket grounds are a way ahead of most stadium in cricket playing nations. Still the amount of crowd BGT is pulling is excellent. I am sure we might see another full house in the third match.

England will take on Pakistan today in the T20WC. I am certain that England would win the match but if Pakistan is able to defeat the English team then can they secure a berth in the semifinals? The answer is No! The second match today will be played between South Africa & Bangladesh. This match would be interesting to watch as if South Africa defeats Bangladesh then they will go to the number 2 stop in their group replacing NZ due to their good run rate. They will then secure their berth in the T20WC semifinals. I am still not confident with the South African team but I am sure it won't be a big task for them to defeat Bangladesh.

And here we are talking about the matches between two of the pig-3 teams. Just imagine how bad the matches are between more lop-sided opponents. Recently there was a series between West Indies and Zimbabwe, which served just one purpose - to improve the personal stats of some of the players.

Who cares about other teams? I specifically pointed out the Ashes & BGT which is played between Australia, England, and India. These three countries generate the maximum amount of viewership, revenue, and fanbase in test cricket. If test cricket has to survive all ICC needs to do is focus on these countries. I personally do not take any interest in matches where any of these three countries are not playing.

India and its cricket-crazy population are the reason for any format of cricket to survive. The BCCI should come up with either a test tri-series involving these three countries or a bilateral series between India and England. The only problem they might face will be on scheduling it in a cricket-packed year.

At last the Indian girls have secured the semifinal berth in the T20WC. Congratulations Team India!

Now, the aim for India is to enter the finals but the road ahead is very tough. The final four as per me will be Australia, India, England & Newzealand. India & Australia are already through, as per my understanding these two teams will play against each other in the first semifinal of the T20WC. I was surprised earlier to see Srilanka being the number 2 spot in Group 1 but unfortunately, it got snatched by the Kiwi team.

In the past, on this thread, we have discussed several times that Test cricket is losing viewership and fan base. After watching the test match between India and Australia I beg to differ. In my opinion, the Ashes and BGT are the two test tournaments that are still keeping test cricket alive. Delhi stadium was almost full when India & Australia was playing. The next match is scheduled to happen at Holkar stadium which is in Indore, I am expecting a good amount of spectator's presence when the 3rd test match starts.

India Women vs Ireland Women
India Women vs ‌Ireland Women in ICC T20 Women's World Cup. India have played 3 matches and won 2 so far. Ireland have played 3 matches so far without winning even 1 match. India Women is at number 2 in the points table. Ireland women are in the 5th position of the points table. Maybe India Women will win the game today.

I am not even bothered with this match as I am confident that the Indian team will dominate this match. Ireland is a good team but they are no match against the Indian side. Give a few years they would become more confident and refined. I am pretty sure they would also start winning games if they started playing more bilateral or trilateral tournaments. ICC after this T20WC should create more such opportunities for women's cricket.

I did not watched the 2nd test match between Australia and India. After the first test match, Australia were already aware of such pitches. I believe they tried their level best. But, their effort wasted due to Ravindra Jadeja's extra ordinary bowling. This guy dominated Aussie batters from the first match and he still continue. He becomes a head ace for Aussie batters and coaches. Ten wickets from two innings is extra ordinary performance. Handscomb and Osman Khawaja played good in the first innings. But In the 2nd innings, Almost no one were able to play jadeja.

Every home team would takes the advantage of home ground this is why the word test is used in test matches because it is meant to test the skills of both batters and bowlers. Otherwise they would have simply called it a 5 days match similar to one day match. Two more matches would be played in this series and India now need to only win one of them in order to qualify for the finals.

At one point Australia were only 61/1 and after Sir Jadeja started his magical spell they lost 7 wickets in quick interval. Not to forget Ashwin also played and important part he took 3 important wickets.

Congratulation shasan for getting the rank that you deserved! It took a little longer than expected but you are there now and I hope you keep on contributing positively to the community as you have been doing for the last 5 years.

Pakistan women's team had a good chance of entering the semifinals of the women's T20WC if they had defeated the West Indies side yesterday. Unfortunately, it won't be easy for them anymore. After India got defeated by England the point difference between India, WI, and Pakistan was only 2 points. The advantage that Pakistan had was its net run rate which is +0.981 as compared to India which is +0.205. If Pakistan had won yesterday's match then they would have dethroned India from 2nd position to 3rd position on their group ranking. Then it would have been very difficult for India to enter the semifinals.

Did anyone follow the test match between England and Newzealand? I was so engulfed with the test match between India and Australia that I forgot to follow this match. England obviously won the match, what is commendable was that they won by a huge margin of 267 runs. This aggressive strategy by the English batters had confused the Kiwi side. In both innings, they aggressively scored more than 300 runs. I am pretty much enjoying this going after the bowler's strategy of the English team.

He is doing so because his private conversation were made public and he is trying to defend that stance in a way he knows best  Cheesy.  Venkatesh Prasad has a point thought, India has a lot of young talents waiting to get a position in the team and KL Rahul is given more opportunities to perform in the longer format. In the shorter format he is performing but not in Test for a long time.

Do you think that even matters now? What he said is the truth! KL Rahul has become a laughing stock as he proves himself worthy of it. I did share his stats as a test cricket batter from 2017. Do you still think he is better than those mentioned below those stats? He is still being selected because of him being a captain of a runner-up team in the 2022 IPL. IPL franchises can influence and decide nowadays whom to select and whom to remove. This is the age of money, somewhat similar to football leagues and their influence in the selection of a country before an international tournament.

1974  Local / India / Sell your Bitcoin for INR or Buy Bitcoin using INR anonymously on localmonero on: February 19, 2023, 01:36:52 PM
After going through Bisq and not finding any offers on BTC/INR pairing I wanted to find out an alternative. Although we can create a thread on this board wherein we can post that an offer was placed on Bisq for either buying Bitcoin or for selling it for INR. Still, we won't be able to generate a lot of offers as most offers would come from members who would be only looking to sell BTC for INR.

Therefore I did some research and found another P2P exchange that allows you to do an anonymous transaction for BTC/INR pair. The exchange URL is https://localmonero.co. What I liked about it is that it has a similar interface for Indians as Binance provides. There are a lot of offers available and some offer to pay INR using UPI. I saw 6 multiple offers today (crypto & INR), not sure whether they will be available tomorrow.

I did go through the FAQ and found it similar to LocalBitcoins but with different terminology.

Quote
All online trades are protected by arbitration bonds. When a trade is started an amount of Monero equal to the amount of the trade is automatically reserved from the seller's LocalMonero bond wallet. This means that if the seller runs away with your money and does not finalize the trade, LocalMonero support can direct the Monero held in the arbitration bond to you. If you're selling Monero, never finalize the trade before you know that you have received money from the Monero buyer. Please note that local trades do not have arbitration bond protection enabled by default.

If anyone here has done any transaction on localmonero then please share your experience.

Venkatesh Prasad again brutally trolls KL Rahul!

I think he is the only ex-cricketer who telling the truth about KL Rahul. In a series of tweets just a few hours back he gave KL Rahul multiple options to regain his lost form. Then in the end he asked him in a cryptic way whether he can skip this year's IPL to get his form back.

Yesterday he also shared this tweet on his twitter timeline.

Quote
KL Rahul in Tests since 24/11/17 -

Inns: 47
Runs: 1203
Avg: 26.15
SR: 46.2
50s: 3
100s: 3
0s: 5

Murali Vijay and Shikhar Dhawan weren't backed like this!

Source

Those figures are not that surprising for me but it is true that the amount of backing Rahul is getting from BCCI is not that easy for other players.

One minute silence for those who bought tickets for day 4 & day 5  Grin. Another big win for India and a humiliating defeat by the Australian. Such victories would only dent the morale of Australian players.

What a series this has been for both Jadeja and Ashwin. These two have single handedly destroyed the so called powerful batting line-up of Australia.

Another big contribution by KL Rahul in this match. He has now started scoring only single digit runs. A team should have such a great vice captain & an incredible batter. Without his contribution it would have been really tough for India to win this match.
1977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I asked - Which country is best suited to adopt Bitcoin in 2023? on: February 18, 2023, 04:17:16 PM
I was just fiddling with ChatGPTng and then I thought why not ask this AI "Which country is best suited to adopt Bitcoin in 2023? The answer it gave me was controversial. I never expected these countries to be on that list.

I was not happy with the response therefore I went ahead and clicked on Regenerate response.

Again it was a similar reply but now it wrote me the reason why these countries are best suited to adopt Bitcoin. Do you think this prediction would be correct or do you have any other country in your mind?

1979  Local / India / Re: Separate section for crypto in new ITR forms on: February 18, 2023, 01:31:30 PM
Are you guys going to fill up the crypto section in the new ITR forms ?

I guess we don't really need to fill it up until we exchange the coins for INR and withdraw to our bank account.
How would the government know if I hold any coins ?

I will fill it in as I have made a few transactions Grin. I am not sure how many here would tell the truth:Smiley. The only option left for me after this financial year is to move to a crypto friendly country. Still not sure which one to choose but currently in the process of finding one.
