1961  Economy / Economics / Re: What if all those Fund houses dump all their Bitcoins? on: June 23, 2016, 08:39:09 AM
What is causing this price crash? Has the chinese dumped their coins?
We cannot determined yet because there is really no news that is something bad happen within the community, we don't know who is playing with the price, but one thing is certain, the price will increase nearing the halving this july.
1962  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: June 23, 2016, 07:36:47 AM
buying or holding a bitcoin is also a investment and also it has a risk because you spend and risk money just to make some profit and try if your money will grow . you should think twice before investing your money .
I think all investing is risky, but the good thing with bitcoins is that the price fluctuates that much and we have reach the peak of $1,000 and with that amount we can still achieve so it is good to buy now and hold it in the future.
1963  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: June 23, 2016, 07:17:02 AM
I bought few coins today when price dropped below $630 as I thought this is the good price to buy and hoping and expecting price to be higher the time of halving.

Well I can say that today is a good time for buying bitcoins and I think the price is continuing to fall. So, if you are going to wait for the price drop.
And if you able to buy some bitcoins as the halving comes you are going to get profit from it.
You are extremely right, now is the time to buy because the price are falling and you need to take advantage of it because it is guaranteed to rise in the future. The halving is coming so it could happen at any time, we just have to observe that bitcoin is full of surprise and maybe the next day you wake up the price will be going to skyrocket again.

For those people who are planning to buy bitcoins, well this is the right time to buy bitcoin as the price is falling down.
But for sure it will going to pump again. Just wait for the halving and for price increase is possible to happen.

Yeah, but I wonder what when this price drop will stop. It's been going straight down from $770 to $570 with no stable prices in between.

But I'm planning to buy soon. Just not sure when yet.
Very simple, just buy when the price started to climb up, in that way you can ensure that it will continuous to go up and sell when the price will also goes down fast. That is the way to make money in short term.
1964  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 23, 2016, 07:08:00 AM
future of paper money is still fairly good. there are still many who use it. especially for traditional transaction .i think bitcoin and paper money will be running simultaneously.
They will run together because without fiat we cannot convert our bitcoins. Bitcoins will not get the adoption of the majority of people due to its complexity and there are still some who are comfortable in using paper money and they don't want to change it anymore.

If there would be an scenario where would be able to buy anything with bitcoin, then the demand for paper money will reduce or else we will continue to convert our bitcoin to fiat, so fiat will always in demand.
With the number of population in the world, majority of them are poor so we cannot expect them to use bitcoins because they do not transact online. Only a certain percentage will use bitcoins but I am pretty sure it will not surpass the majority.
1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: June 23, 2016, 06:58:21 AM
Simple,  if you are lucky enough , you can earn a lot.  If you are unlucky , you are not able to earn a single buck itself. That's the answer suits to OP's question.

This is a funny answer as it is not really easy to be lucky and even if you are lucky, you can win a lot at first but when greed start to take over you, even no matter how big the profit is, you will still end up paying back to the casino.

and after paying back to the casino you will still bet your winning prize that you earn the last time, and in the end if you still have money to bet you will never stop. until you realize that you are loosing at this time. So always know your limitation if you start playing a gamble.
The real chance in winning is not by using your luck, you need to be consistent in order to win in the long run and you can only achieve that if you choose the right game for you that would give you the best chance of winning, also it is important to be discipline and bankroll management is vital.
1966  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: June 23, 2016, 06:54:24 AM
i think kids need no money to win at all.
Yeah agree. If you had enough income you don't need to torture your kid to earn a small amounts of bitcoin, just teach him how to economize And teach them how hard to earn it and don't just simply waste money.

There are many ways in which kids can earn bitcoin Its not a kind of torture and all. How they use them is another topic altogether. We as parents should be their guide on the proper management of their finances, even though at a very young age, they may not take it seriously and think that this is all just play. Rewarding them with bitcoin each time they do something special, like having good grades at school, doing household chores, and keeping their toys in place are some of the ways that could encourage kids to want to have bitcoin.

Not for me actually, I do not get use my children about money. I want them to focus on their studies and if they will have a merit in studies I would reward them with things but surely not money or take them outside to enjoy the weekends.

1968  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: June 23, 2016, 06:42:47 AM
Time for a much needed correction. The price has been going up for almost a month now and this plummet back to the mid $500 levels ain't that bad at all. I like to view it as an opportunity to buy. Even if the price goes back down to $500 or even lower, that would just mean more chances to accumulate at a lower price.

like andreas m. antonopoulos says : Growing pains are part of growing
https://twitter.com/aantonop/status/743765903997710336

i think the blood of bitcoin price are part of growing too.
We know that this is some kind of a manipulated market, the whales dictates the price, so if they like to do it they can do it anytime. However, I still believe that the demand of the public will also help the price to go up again, and due to the big demand the supply will be short which would effect the price to substantially go up.
1969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: June 23, 2016, 06:38:23 AM
I'm lucky enough that I have not been got addicted to gambling because I always think the value of money. It is really hard to make money, you need to work. When I play gamble games, I'm not worry about my losses because I just get it on faucets that's why even win or lose it doesn't bother me. I prevent myself from depositing...

Well me, I have been addicted to gambling. And it is really hard to stay away from gambling once you used to it and it becomes a part of your daily life. So, what I did is I focused on other things , sports, computer games and it made a good output to me. Because it helped me to stay away from gambling.
Exactly, you need to focus on other things to consume you time instead of gambling. With sports, I think it is good because you will have a healthy lifestyle instead of focusing in gambling where it will only give you some stress that would lead you to be unhealthy.
1970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 23, 2016, 06:32:46 AM
God help all bag holders here, if Poloniex adds Rise and not Waves.
Why would they add rise instead of waves, I doubt if rise can beat the waves on the total investment raise during the ICO. Waves is legitimate and when it hits in real major exchanges it could bypass the price of lisk.
1971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016 NBA Finals on: June 23, 2016, 06:24:51 AM
Big 3 in Knicks in 2016-2017 season. Porzingis, Anthony and Rose. I guess they are one on the team to beat next season. Rose just need to stay healthy.
Still cannot beat the cavaliers, but I hope they have a shot to go to eastern finals. Derrick Rose is so talented especially when he is healthy but base of the past games he is injured sometimes and the same with carmelo anthony.
Carmelo need to transfer some other teams if he want to get a ring, Derrick Rose are not like before he have more injuries.
I want to see carmelo in Lakers
Carmelo is already old also, I don't think he will ever get a championship. Stars like Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis have a good potential to get a championship if they will transfer to another team and make a tandem with another superstar.

1973  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: June 22, 2016, 03:13:39 PM
Maybe but not totally a currency because it is a decentralized digital currency and it will never be replace the US Dollar and it doesnt have a fixed price so i dont think that the government and almost all countries will accept bitcoin to be a international currency it will stay as a international digital currency .
I think that makes it decentralized bitcoin become a global currency. because there is no one who can control the bitcoin. so that bitcoin will become the most attractive currency
It's true, because people don't trust the government so they will choose a more decentralized currency and that would only happen if the government will not make a necessary measures to ban bitcoins in their respective countries.
1974  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go back to bellow $400? on: June 22, 2016, 03:10:24 PM
Probably not likely right now, since the price is still floating around mid $650. However it could definitely go down below $400 in the near future, but that would just be a bear trap.

Buy as much as you can when the price is that low.
I don' think that will happen this month especially when the halving is nearing, we know that due to the hype of halving within the community that is why the price increases substantially so it could be impossible to have a price like $400 in a short period of time from now.
1975  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I've got $20k to invest. Please recommend! on: June 22, 2016, 03:06:30 PM
Hey folks,

I've finally got around $20k to invest in long-term. No, unfortunately I cannot put this on a bank to get like 10-15% per year, I'd need something way more good.
What would you recommend? Mining? Other crypto?

Investors, please get me some cool ideas.

Thanks in advance,
Marcell

Actually i think that you could invest in mining, just not bitcoins, you could try litecoin or other altcoins mining actually, or even cloud mining

And you should avoid risky sites like gambling or loaning as they are very, very risky and you aill probably only lose your money
I don't see investing in gambling sites are more risky, for me it is the safest way to earn money if you are only investing with a trusted online casino. Remember they always win and so do you. For me, it is a no brainer when it comes to investing in online casinos because it was already proven to be profitable.
1976  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin continuous rising? on: June 22, 2016, 03:02:27 PM
I think the bitcoin price will continue to rising even after the next halving , and that's in fact good for the Bitcoin's holders .
No it wont last till next halving event. When halving ends thats the time price will get stabilize as the hype we feel will also appear.
yeah I think so too. when halving ends I think many people will lose their sensation, and if that happens then bitcoin demand of the market would be automatically reduced. and you know the consequences?
prices down slowly? perhaps it is a cycle that must happen

And when the excitement dies down, I think that is one good opportunity to quietly buy. When the price has stabilized and all the partying is over and when we are over and done with the halving, that is the time to buy because we would just be starting the count down for the next halving event four years from now.

That's really a good strategy if you are going to invest with bitcoin. But for sure, bitcoin is going to continuous rising and no one can stop it.
Once the halving happens, we will see the result of it and it is nearly to come.
I dont think it will continue to rise after halving. We all believe that the sudden price increase is because of chinese investors and it is not because of a real demand in bitcoin.
The halving will dictate the price to be stable, so if you have invested a good amount of bitcoins before the halving then after the halving you should dispose to get your profit.

Its better not to sell bitcoins post halving as price may go down, so if you want to sell your coins then you should sell it before the halving when you see higher price.
My strategy will be, I will be selling bitcoins right after the halving. Right now i will be buying because the price fall back a little bit and we can make a guaranteed profit in a short term by buying the price of bitcoins now.
1977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simple NBA Finals Betting on: June 22, 2016, 02:57:54 PM
still sick thinking how warriors could possible choke so hard....

Man green was the only one to step up. Curry and klay both looked like they
were tired after the long season going for the record and then playing such
hard playoff opponents

cavs had a very easy road.
Yeah to GSW had to play much better teams to get to the Finals then the Cavs, The Cavs did not even have one strong opponent in my opinion that they had to play in the play offs. That is why I do not like the Eastern conference every team that Lebron goes in ten East to is automatically the best team in the Eastern conference.
I hope this free agency we will see some superstars from the west to transfer in the east. Now that durant will be free agent, I think he will transfer in the east and he will be the main competitor of lebron james. If he will joined paul george in the pacers then we can revive a good team like the pacers.

Who knows, Durant is a free agent so as Howard. Love can be traded as well so we could have a different scenario next season.
If durant will go to the cavaliers then they will be unbeatable. It is already a guaranteed back to back championship. Bad thing for gamblers like us because we will only earn a little due to small odds for the most favored team to win.

Durant wont go to Cleveland for 2 reasons:
1) He wouldn't want to be a sidekick of James, he needs to be the MAIN guy on the team
2) James, Irving and Durant is a very expensive trio.
Exactly, and with the most superstars in the team, the team will become boring to watch especially when they are dominating in the league. Durant should play to other teams that are good already but still needs some superstar to be a championship contender. I think durant will fit in Atlanta Hawks.
Sometimes when a team are full of superstar they do not have the best unity and will end up losing in the most important games. I have remembered Carmelo Anthony and Allen Iverson in the same team, for me they are already strong because of their talent but they don't succeed.
1978  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 22, 2016, 02:53:56 PM
Sorry to break it to you all but Bittrex is where altcoins go to die, it was a terrible place to kick off, should have waited for polo exclusively.
Don't worry because those who sell their coins in bittrex are those people who are no interest in holding their waves in the long term, they just want to dispose their bounties to convert it to money and they are gone to focus to another ICO.
1979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016 NBA Finals on: June 22, 2016, 02:48:18 PM

Green is an X Factor of the team, without him their is not defense. You saw game 7 and we witness how good green is and this season he is an improved shooter and he proved it with his good shooting in the 3 point line.

Xfactor? Maybe in Game 7 but only on Game 7? If he is really a solid XFactor why he isn't consistent in some part of the game during NBA finals?

He must learn how to be humble. Just because he is playing well, he can full his mouth of all shit words throwing to others.

Yes, Game 7 is the showcase performance but there are 5 other games where he played including the Game 6 home game where they could win but he didn't show up.
Everyone has its off game and consider those games that green is not effective but the most important thing is he was able to help his team in game 7 but unfortunately they came up short and lost at the end. Green was once a defensive player of the year, so this guy is tough.
1980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: June 22, 2016, 02:43:36 PM
It is not that gambling is such an addicting sport you know there are always people who dont want to gamble and also get addicted because money is everything for them and they want it back what is not strange.
If a gamblers would think always of winning back he previous losses then most likely that gambler will end up bankrupt because the reality in the gambling is we lose in the long run and if we are not discipline and we let our emotions dictate the game then the consequences is always bad.
