It depends on the person but this is very subjective. 1. The current lifestyle of people may affect their long term plans. Because they are only working from paycheck to paycheck, some are just forgetting long term goals and just think of them being healthy and can eat trice a day. 2. We no longer have bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar or Brett Lee in international cricket. Such bowlers are not suitable for the T20 format, and for the last one decade or so, I haven't seen anyone bowling at average speeds of ~95mph, as Akhar and Lee used to do. One issue is the strict conditions put forward by the ICC to impose penalty on slow over rates. Bowlers like Akhtar takes a lot more time to finish their spell compared to medium pacers, and with that comes a greater risk of the team getting punished for slow over rates.
In T20 its the case that you pay huge penalty in case of slow over rate but in ODI and Test you can have this leverage. Muhammad Hasnain is the latest one who bowled at 155 kmph which is quite good compared to Shoaib Akhat 161 kmph. But Muhammad Hasnain is going through re-hab to correct his action, lets see whether he can come up with 155 with new action. I think it's gonna be tough, really tough for him to produce 155 with his new action. It will probably be good enough but I highly doubt that the pace and also the skill is going to be the same. Even if he does manage to produce good skills I think the base is certainly going to drop. The great bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar and Brett Lee take quite a bit of time to finish their spell but it is also worth it. And I certainly think that it is a really bad rule for the bowlers because a bowler is at his best when he takes his time and thinks about what he is going to do. If they are on offensive mode then we could also see 350ish range.
If this scenario pans out then final day is going to be very exciting or what if Australia also face some sort of collapse tomorrow? After all Pakistan bowlers are not dummy.
I think a score of 350 is going to be really good for Australia to defend. Konyaspor have bad performance recently weeks. Konyaspor's footballers can not focus league ever since died Ahmet Çalık. This is so big tragedy whole team. You are totaly right. Fenerbahçe has got 16 points in the last 6 matches. They have amazing mood. İsmail Kartal made things better for Fenerbahçe. They will finish league at 2nd place this season and they will tourney Europe tournements next year. Fenerbahce seems like they are playing Really well at the moment because in the last five matches they have four matches in their favor and one draw. They have played really well in this portion of the season. I think this form is going to carry forward for them and they are going to have better results in the future also. On the other hand, Konyaspor is not doing that good currently because in their last five matches they have two wins and three losses. I think every board is independent in deciding how many test matches will be played in there home tour. For instance, in NZ there are always 2 test matches in every series. They don't like playing much test. If board is getting benefit only then they are playing more test cricket. I do agree that there cricket fans like T20 format only. I don't see any reason why a team should play a lot more test cricket if it is not generating much revenue. I think, if that same time is given to any other formats of cricket then the popularity will be growing a lot more and they will be able to reach a lot more people through those formats instead of test cricket. I got that test cricket is the birth of cricket, but with time everything changes. and so has the expectation of cricket fans. |
