1981  Other / Off-topic / Re: Next block halving on: May 21, 2014, 02:44:49 AM
Dam I remember the good ol' days when I mined at 50btc reward blocks. Now it's only 25btc/block, but at the same time btc value increased much more than double. So if the past predicts the future, then halving to 12.5btc/block will more than double current price as well.

Here's to hoping...

1983  Economy / Lending / Re: Want to lend 0.5 btc. on: May 21, 2014, 02:33:44 AM
goddam, what's with these newbs making new accounts just to ask for loans?

No need for PM, why don't you just publicly state what your collateral is.

Btw, change your title.  You want to borrow 0.5btc, not loan btc.
1984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I nominate Phinnaeus Gage to TBF memebers vetting committee on: May 21, 2014, 02:31:23 AM
If Mr. Gage does become a member of the Foundation, all the current members will get trolled until they all resign. Destroying the group from inside out.

That's a healthy direction for bitcoin community anyways.
1985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally! One of the top porn stars accepts and promotes Bitcoin. on: May 21, 2014, 02:27:38 AM
Is this hoe really that famous for this to be noteworthy? Never heard of her amongst the top names out of the pool of thousands of porn stars these days.
1986  Economy / Goods / Re: ►฿ INTERNATIONAL GROUP BUY FOR LEALANA PHYSICAL BTC & LTC (UNFUNDED) on: May 21, 2014, 02:11:55 AM
US domestic: $2 - $5.25

Canada: $7 ~ $13

All other countries: $7 ~ $15

Would it be closer to 7$ or 15$?  lol

Specifically to South Africa, it's ~$11 if you're only getting a few coins. All countries have different rates mailing from the US, and it's too much of a hassle for me to list rates for every country, for every weight. There is a base cost that no matter how light the package is, it will cost that much ($7), and every additional ounce is a small increment added to the base cost. For anyone else wonder cost to your country, feel free to verify here:

1987  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan 20000$ on: May 21, 2014, 01:48:18 AM
Hello, need loan 28500$.For collateral i provide my account on bizcom.com.ru affiliate.Dont afraid, affiliate this paid,I see screenshot of paid amount 12090$.My balance 57275$.You may also write me at pm for buy my account.

C'mon man, if you're going to scam for this much, at least try a little harder.

And it's probably easier to scam 1000 people for $30, than it would be to scam 1 person for $30k.
1988  Economy / Goods / Re: ►฿ U.S. GROUP BUY FOR LEALANA PHYSICAL BTC & LTC (UNFUNDED) on: May 18, 2014, 08:54:45 PM
Ok, I'll run this group buy for the first round since I also want some coins for myself  Cheesy. Not sure if I'll be able to dedicated the time for any additional group buy batches. Organizing group buys take massive amount of time to communicate with all the buyers, packaging and shipping, and other logistics. I'm also willing to ship out packages outside of US if no other EU or Asia group buy gets off the ground. Rates for coins from me to you, depending on quantities:

US domestic: $2 - $5.25

Canada: $7 ~ $13

All other countries: $7 ~ $15
1989  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Youtube Views/Likes/Subscribers] - 9.50$ for 10k views - Accepting all crypto! on: May 18, 2014, 06:55:31 AM
Just curious, how can we confirm the views are high retention views? Or even, how do we know this is safe? YT has detection algorithm to detect these kinds of abuses, so how do we know our videos or account won't be banned in the future?
1990  Economy / Goods / Re: ►฿ U.S. GROUP BUY FOR LEALANA PHYSICAL BTC & LTC (UNFUNDED) on: May 18, 2014, 05:22:22 AM
I also already PM'ed smoothie a few days ago regarding group buy also. I'm willing to step up to help organize a group buy also.

I've run several successful group buys in the past, and currently still paying a monthly service free for an Endicia account (mass shipping via USPS). The USPS shipping rate is roughly only $2 for up to 3oz, and I think 30cents for each ounce after 3oz, for up to 13oz. After that, a flat rate of $5.25. So add the evenly split cost of $40 from Hawaii and you got your total.

So for example if 20 coins are ordered, then split cost for each coin is $2. Then if you're only buying a single coin to be reshipped, it's another $2 for a grand total of $4 shipping, rather than $40 directly from smoothie. If you're getting 5 coins, then it's roughly $13 grand total for shipping ($2 per coin split cost, plus $3 USPS reshipping). That's assuming if we only order 20 coins. But if the group buy is larger, then the split cost for each coin is cheaper.
1991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebay considers bitcoin integration on: May 18, 2014, 05:00:48 AM
Nope, I guarantee integration will never happen unless ebay/paypal can get a cut. Ebay is making at least 13% on fees for every auction, why would they throw that away by accepting btc?
1992  Economy / Goods / Re:  [WTS] Lealana 1LTC Physical Coins UNREDEEMED x20 on: May 17, 2014, 08:10:41 AM
haha BURNED! You should have accepted the offers before smoothie started selling his coins again.
1993  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the fuck do we still use cash? on: May 17, 2014, 08:07:05 AM
Because some people can't leave paper trails to avoid tax. Why do you think all those Asian restaurants are cash only places? Also if you're an illegal immigrant working, you're forced to transact in cash only.

Received, thanks. I'll leave positive trade feedback once the real payments starts rolling in.

Just a suggestion, you may want to also update the OP for participants, for the sake of transparency and public verification. Although, keeping things organized like this will burn up more time as well. I think someone did offer to help you with this.
1995  Economy / Services / Re: Get half of my BTC if you can find scammer and get money back on: May 17, 2014, 05:21:53 AM
lol I read this thread thinking it was a significant amount to put up a bounty. But c'mon, you're fighting for nickles and dimes here. I'm sure your time is worth more than that...
1996  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yet Another Brock Pierce Thread on: May 17, 2014, 02:53:56 AM
Personally, I couldn't give a rat's ass whether Pierce is a pedophile or not, as that isn't relevant to how he's going to run the Foundation. What, are there any children he'll start raping in the Foundation? I have the same sentiments as OP.

But at the same time, I wouldn't mind if he resigned from his postion, not because he's a pedo, but because the bitcoin foundation is not needed at all.
1997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get BTC Foundation out of Bitcoin development? on: May 17, 2014, 02:28:11 AM
If you don't think they're worthy to have higher control of bitcoin, then just ignore them. By making threads like this, it gives them even more publicity. And you know what they say... any publicity is good publicity.

Seriously, they're nothing more than just another bitcoin user.
1998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] Do you like or hate the Bitcoin foundation? on: May 16, 2014, 07:34:32 PM
I couldn't care less if they existed. Bitcoin will still continue with or without them. Ask yourself, what monumental thing has this "foundation" done for bitcoin? They bring more negative publicity than a positive one.
1999  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: IRS's new guidelines for taxing crypto-currencies on: May 16, 2014, 07:31:09 PM
And how exactly will the IRS enforce capital gains tax? Good luck with that. They won't be able to do it, not easily at least. Sure, they can track when you exchanged the bitcoins, but it will be impossible to determine the exact value it was traded it. Different exchanges have different rates, and they also cannot prove what the rate was for private trades. You can claim you had your own custom exchange, or traded with someone for $1 cash per bitcoin.
2000  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The Silk Road marketplace lives on, despite intense government efforts on: May 16, 2014, 10:35:55 AM
You won't ever truly take down silk road, because it's more of an idea that these users live by. Similar to this war on terrorism that the US is fighting. Look how long that's been going on, and how much longer it must go on, only realizing in the end that we cannot completely kill it off. It's all done for politics.
