1321  Economy / Service Discussion / timezone of blockchain.info? on: July 27, 2014, 06:05:24 PM
I have to review some of my previous transactions and need to know exactly what time it was sent. Blockchain.info has all this info, however they don't state the timezone for their time stamps. Does anyone know?
1322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's brave/stupid enough to invest their life savings into Bitcoin? on: July 27, 2014, 05:26:22 PM
Who's brave/stupid enough to invest their life savings into Bitcoin?

In this case, brave = foolish.

I'm pro-btc and all, but going all in when price is not stable is nothing but foolish. This is the kind of stuff that can put you homeless if price moves in the wrong direction.
1323  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.30 BTC for 0.35 return, 01Aug on: July 27, 2014, 05:15:38 PM
OP is legit. Not sure why he needs the loan so frequently, and the same amount too, but I've loaned to him a few times and he paid back the correct amount on the correct day.
1324  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: July 27, 2014, 05:13:48 PM
I'm canceling my request. Yes, you've checked my profile, you got it. I don't speculate with closed eyes Smiley

Ok no problem. I'm not on this forum 24/7 to confirm or deny requests right when they're posted, so maybe next time.

If I'm going to loan out that amount without collateral, the least I'll do is skim your profile to guess why you need it.
1325  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [buying] BTC @ bitstamp -2% (TRUSTED member!) on: July 27, 2014, 05:08:46 PM
I'm buying btc again, need about 1 btc but can still accept any amount more or less.

sold him ~ .5 btc. for boa. fast and easy. will be selling more to you in the near future. thanks.

I fully vouch for geoffreyqp too. If you need a reference any time, direct them to this thread.
1326  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Ungraded 1893-S Morgan Silver Dollar, accepting BTC or other coins on: July 27, 2014, 04:53:02 PM
I don't think I will sell it to anyone here, I don't appreciate the attitude I have been given about it.  I'll either deal with a coin shop directly or put it on ebay.

Then why did you list it on here? You got called out because you posted a stolen picture that's not even the same coin. For an item like this, wtf did you expect to happen? I hope you're not thinking some naive collector will just hand you $1.5k blindly.
1327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Satoshi Nakamoto be world's first trillionaire ? on: July 27, 2014, 04:46:13 PM
"Trillionaire" implies that he's that rich in fiat. If this were to be true, then he would have to cash out hit btc to be this rich in fiat. (Lets just put aside how much each btc would be worth for this to happen, because this alone will show how BS this thread is). Now if he really were to cash out all his btc, do you honestly think he would get a trillion dollars, or would it eat up every buy order and crash the price?
1328  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: July 27, 2014, 04:12:32 PM
BTC0.5

I'm assuming it's used to speculate on a certain altcoin rising? And what happens when price moves against you, how are you going to pay it back? If you can prove to me where you'll be spending it and how you're going to pay back, I'll approve 0.3 btc for 24 hours, repayment 0.33 btc.
1329  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] GPU Mining Farms on: July 27, 2014, 05:42:50 AM
You might want to state your location if you're buying physical hardware.
1330  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: All of Satoshi's bitcoins will belong to NY after 5 years of inactivity on: July 27, 2014, 05:41:16 AM
Forfeit Bitcoins that are inactive for over 5 years to the State of New York - (200.12c)

Think for a minute. Lets say they do implement this. Now how are they going to execute and enforce this? One of the benefits of bitcoin is that it's yours, and you're in full control of it. The fundamentals of bitcoin does not operate within the law and regulation.
1331  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.05-0.3BitcoinLoan-Need Help! on: July 27, 2014, 04:12:30 AM
I bet you're from the Philippines.
I'm going to guess somewhere like Angola.

Come on OP.  Tell us where you from at least Smiley

I would have guessed Nigeria, but that wouldn't make much sense either. His English is actually understandable.
1332  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] BTC via Bank Deposit (US only) $3000 available on: July 27, 2014, 02:17:56 AM
do you have usa bank account, sir? are you not in china country?  Smiley

Wells Fargo imples USA. I don't think they have this bank in China.
1333  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: would like to buy some btc on: July 26, 2014, 09:58:15 PM
Are you located in the US? If you're willing to do a cash deposit at your local bank branch, I'm willing to sell you some btc. How many are you looking to buy?
1334  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: July 26, 2014, 06:59:33 PM
I do not understand

Then I feel sorry for you. Go find your gambling funds elsewhere.
1335  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: July 26, 2014, 06:58:18 PM
can I have a loan of upto 1 BTC?

1btc for an account with 28 activity and less than 50 posts. What do you think my answer will be?
1336  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [PrimeDice] Track Your Earnings! on: July 26, 2014, 03:29:46 PM
Pretty neat stuff. Some people already mentioned it, but the balance is off because the start date does not start on the 17th, but rather the 1st.

@ DebitMe - you forgot to checkmark the box "This rating is negative", so you actually gave him positive trade feedback. Might want to change that, although I don't think it'll matter too much at this point.
1338  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to follow up with ebay/paypal CHARGEBACK? on: July 26, 2014, 06:42:32 AM
Paypal should be able to file a response to the credit card company on your behalf. You should provide paypal with whatever evidence you have of the transaction so they can send it to the bank.

The likely problem is that if the buyer says the card was stolen or if the card was in fact stolen then you will likely lose, and would need to take legal action against the person who actually received the goods you sold.

Exactly, PayPal has to receive the evidence. I know PayPal often sides with the buyer. But if he - in this case - really can provide videographic evidence that he really shipped the merchandise, wouldn't PayPal protect him as well?

Ebay/paypal should have all the evidence they need. Ebay knows exactly what item the scumbag bought, tracking is uploaded and shows that it's delivered. The account is brand new with zero feedback. Ebay knows all this. Paypal knows all this too because the transaction is linked to ebay.

The problem is that he is filing a chargeback through his credit card. His credit card decides the outcome, not ebay/paypal resolution center. Even if ebay/paypal knows it's fraud, they are at the mercy of the credit card company's decision. Paypal has already withdrew the amount that scumbag charged back, most likely because the credit card company will side with scumbag. If they truly wanted to investigate, the would at least wait for the outcome before taking my funds.
1339  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: buying 16btc via PAYPAL on: July 25, 2014, 11:03:19 PM
buying 16btc via paypal

If you promise to do a chargeback, I'll sell the 16 btc to you. Let me know.
1340  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: July 25, 2014, 11:00:38 PM
i looking for a 0.05 BTC

I will pay 50% interest and will all be paid back within 4 day

Funny guy. If I used the 0.05 to gamble myself, at least I have a good chance to get some of it back than if I gave it to you.
