The post count in my profile changed from a number to "leet".
When was this change implemented, and is it possible to change it back to a numerical value?

OP still checks forum every day, in fact just logged in a few hours ago but still makes no attempt to reply. I'm pretty sure the ONE guy that got his package is just a shill account of the same person.

How Should Bitcoin Be Regulated?
Whether it's regulated or not, the native code allows it to run, unaffected by regulation. It was never designed as such, so why would it need it at all? Every country can ban it for all they want, but the bitcoin network will still chug along.

Just a thought: All miners can collectively game the system so the 21 million mined coins can be achieved much quicker. Right before difficulty change, majority of the miners drop out so that the total network hash power plummets, so after the new difficulty correction drops, all miners jump back in. This would result in blocks being much faster than 10 minute averages. After 2 weeks, miners drop out again until difficulty change, then jump back in. Rise and repeat. Cutting down the 10 minute block times in effect would cut down the number of years required to mine out all blocks.
Practically speaking, this won't ever happen, but it's still a possibility.

Why every time I do anything on this forum I have to prove it? If I buy a miner I have to prove that I bought it(Done), I say that I'm a gift so I had to post a picture(Done), I bought a gift card now I have to post info.. I'm going to do my shopping elsewhere, geez.
Lets assume for a minute that the image you posted was real, and was indeed yours, and you also had a time machine to make a transaction far into the past . Now why are you buying a PS4 from amazon? In the lending section, you were a poor female college student, who can't even afford books. Apparently, a game console is great for your poor budget, and even better for your educational outlook, right?

Goddammit, I just gave him a loan yesterday. He requested for 0.65btc but I only approved 0.1btc. I wasn't aware you already gave him a loan, otherwise I would have denied altogether. After I sent him the loan, I saw him requesting other loan and I warned against it HERE. Looking closer at his profile, there was another guy that purchased starbucks GC but didn't receive the code HERE. In hindsight, I shouldn't have just skimmed his profile but actually thoroughly read through his posts, it would have been obvious

I'm one of the person that loaned OP the much needed btc, in which he is selling now. I hope the person buying this can be generous enough to not rape him with this +10% bitstamp nonsense. You can view details of his loan here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=684028.0@ arklan - I'm guessing there will be many newbs that will try to buy your btc with paypal. Please do not trust any of them. I'd hate to see you get burned on this amount that you cannot afford to lose, and it'll be a hit on us lenders as well.

I believe Tennis didn't have the intention of defaulting, and I guess paying me back just became more of a hassle than it is worth. Maybe he had some bad luck. I don't know.
You really don't know? If you're going to lend him that much, the very least you can do is see why he needs the loan. Look at his profile... he comes here for gambling. If he wins the bet, you get a portion of his winnings. If he loses, that's your btc he's lost. I don't know why you would give him that much for gambling.

Someone gave me an ID out of good faith for a loan. I've verified that it's real. Some people are just that desperate in hard times.

Haploid... please send $350 worth of btc to 19XRT7MWnUjBY6rCBr6kKnaaN93DMQJYQ8
Sent a flat 0.6 btc ($355 at the time) to your wallet: https://blockchain.info/tx/b867cc9a8250b53da53f5f6fc5b66a956655b884b24d46855219fbabf4cb3eebMy loan is roughly 1/3 of your total amount, so repayment is 0.067 btc monthly until you complete 0.69 btc repayment, which is roughly 10 months. You can automatically send the monthly repayment to: 16qUZwrapxcZSbdDMM27tDviZDoQ5pY8gpedit 09/25/14: BiPolarBob as completely paid off Arklan's debt, HERE.

I'll send you the amount within 15 minutes. I don't have access to my hot wallet on every computer for security reasons.
Lastly, I know it would probably be more beneficial for you if the loan was $350 worth of btc, and repayment was also $350 (+interest) worth of btc at the time, but I'd like the amount in btc regardless of the price at the time. If I loan out in btc, I prefer it in btc because I don't like to cross over between the two. You mentioned you're ok with this, so confirm again and I'll have it sent when I can switch computers.

Brand new user, made an account solely for the purpose of selling amazon GC, and a hard-to-believe price. This seems legit Selling them for 60% of the price of the card. $100GC = $70
lol you fail at math

Can there also be a function that when you ignore a user, they can't post in your moderated thread?

This happened to me MANY times, but on different forums where something happens and the post did not submit correctly, and it's lost. I now make it a habit to Ctrl + C whenever I type a post a few sentence long. If you lose the post, just Ctrl + V and you're good to go, no lost time retyping.

On the top of my head, it was over 100 years. Not in your lifetime basically.

I almost never check this thread. But luckily another member tipped me off for the sig change, otherwise it probably would have been a few weeks before I notice the update. By being in this sig campaign, I guess there is an implied responsibility to constantly skim the thread

Just so you know, StarbucksShop currently has an open loan with me. I'm looking for a loan of $0.05btc for 2 weeks
I'm not trying to dictate how much loans you take out from other people, but for me, there is a certain total btc threshold. Once you pass it, then I'm going to request my loan amount back from you.
