How does someone with a single wallet with 30k coins not feel vulnarable?

Why don't you ask satoshi? Or mtgox's "stolen" coins? Those amount to much more than 30k btc.
1682  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.30 BTC for 0.35 return, 04Jul (next Fri) on: July 05, 2014, 03:15:51 AM
*knock knock* It's a national holiday so that's probably why you overlooked the repayment  Wink
1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any of the bitcoin friendly banks allow opening of accounts remotely? on: July 04, 2014, 05:39:17 PM
all banks are bitcoin friendly because it means nothing

I hope you're joking. Go to Chase bank and open an account saying it's for a bitcoin business, see if they let you. If you already have a Chase account, go tell them you've had some transactions that related with bitcoin. They'll try to reverse those transactions, or close your account completely.
1684  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam Defaults/Arbitration on: July 04, 2014, 05:05:38 PM
The technical stuff on btcjam I'm not sure about, so you'll have to wait until a regular user chimes in. I stay away from that place, just because there's no real form of collateral offered.

Some human life aren't worth anything. Even negative value. A great example is Dank.
1685  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam Defaults/Arbitration on: July 04, 2014, 04:53:02 PM
If the amount won in arb is small, then it's not worth it. Sometimes the legal fees would exceed the amount that you won. In the case of bitpop, the 3 borrowers that defaulted were located in the US, and he was in Canada I believe. It's much harder to pursue someone by legal means if you're not in the same country.

All arbitration does is give you personal info of the borrower once the loan defaults, and sometimes this doesn't do a thing. You might as well use the money you would have spent in court fees to just hire a hitman instead. At least the outcome would have been more satisfying  Wink
1686  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTCjam Defaults/Arbitration on: July 04, 2014, 04:25:51 PM
bitpop won 3 arbs, but now he doesn't know how to collect. He is selling those coins from arb at lower than their face value. So once you win, that's only the first step, actually getting the coins back is a lot harder. Lots of hassle with the legal and court side of things.
1687  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Reputable Trader Accepting Loans 5.0% Weekly! on: July 04, 2014, 06:05:48 AM

I still need your repayment address! Please check your messages.

Sorry I forgot. Here is the address for repayment in a few days. Btw I never got a PM from you. Edit: Nevermind I did get it, but it was buried with the other messages I got from other people so it went unnoticed.

Why localbitcoins dont need KYC ?

Very simple. Because LBC does not touch fiat. You cannot not deposit fiat in, and they do not pay fiat out.
1689  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Selling] The first physical Bitcoin coin(?) on: July 04, 2014, 05:06:05 AM
You don't need to sell something that has sentimental value. It's not like you need the terrible offers seen so far. The forum makes you plenty of revenue.
1690  Economy / Collectibles / Re: BEAUTIFUL Titan 1 oz. 999 fine Gold - 1 BTC coins are here on: July 04, 2014, 03:13:33 AM
You don't even need to look at the back of the coin. The title says 999. And typically all modern coins are pure gold. The only time you really see mixture with other alloys is in jewelry.
1691  Economy / Services / Re: ()()() Zuhayr's Escrow Service (Free) ()()() on: July 04, 2014, 12:13:29 AM
All it takes is one sucker to send him something to escrow, that's when he runs and makes a new account. I don't think I've seen such a lowly account try to act as escrow.
1692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sign the BITCOIN RESTORATION PETITION!!!!!! on: July 03, 2014, 06:47:17 PM
Just your typical bro that's mad because he lost money. You should know it's a gamble, and you lost fair and square. Nothing to cry about. I bet if you made a bunch of profit, this thread wouldn't exist.
1693  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Reputable Trader Accepting Loans 5.0% Weekly! on: July 03, 2014, 06:32:09 PM
@ ranlo - can you confirm he repaid full amount he was suppose to? It's always better to post the transaction public so anyone can verify it. It helps with credibility and legitimacy of the loan.
1694  Economy / Lending / Re: 1.5 BTC Loan on: July 03, 2014, 08:12:55 AM
64 posts and transactions with 2 people is reputable? I'm sure there are plenty of people willing to throw an account like that away for 1.5btc.
1695  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking 6 btc loan on BtcJam. Expected APR 50.13% on: July 03, 2014, 03:47:16 AM
all we need is mutual trust.

Hmm a newbie with 1 post, asking for a 6btc loan. All you need is collateral. Trust from you is worthless.
1696  Economy / Collectibles / Re: BEAUTIFUL Titan 1 oz. 999 fine Gold - 1 BTC coins are here on: July 03, 2014, 03:08:56 AM
Wow beautiful coin as always. And this is the first time for a solid physical gold bitcoin. Are those pictures of the actual coin, or is it a render? I can see some flaws around the edges of the coin, so I'm guessing that's a high res shot of the real deal. I would love to have one, but the premium is higher than popular proof gold coins.
1697  Economy / Lending / Re: I want a loan on: July 03, 2014, 03:01:10 AM
I need it to make a down-payment on a couch and i wont get the money until July 15

That's great, no one cares. Find money elsewhere like you said. In fact, there are a bunch of those payday loans places all over that can hook you up.
1698  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 0.01 loan on: July 03, 2014, 02:33:04 AM
I totally forgot about this loan, but just now remembered because I saw the repayment in my wallet. Thanks, this is the 2nd time I loaned btc to this member.
1699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Expedia Exec Says Bitcoin Spending Has Exceeded Estimates on: July 03, 2014, 02:14:01 AM
This is definitely a step in the right direction. The past month has been nothing but good news for the promotion of bitcoin, including expedia and newegg accepting bitcoin, to governement auctioning btc and California legalizing btc.

Currently very very few merchants actually hold the btc or does anything useful with it, but instead it just gets instantly cashed out. In the distant future, hopefully majority of the merchants will actually hold on to the btc and use them to pay employees or other businesses.
1700  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid for your signature from FXOpen. Weekly payouts. on: July 03, 2014, 02:03:39 AM
Not to be insensitive, but perhaps there's a time and place to talk about personal issues, and this thread isn't it.

I'm just glad this thread isn't spammed to death like some other sig campaigns (no names mentioned  Wink)
