To Everyone: you're trying to use logic to reason with this persona Dank. If you have not already noticed, you cannot reason with him so nothing you say will have any effect on him. This is no longer about a loan or paying squall back. At first I was sure this is just your everyday troll, but seeing posts on the shroomery forum and how this thread progresses, this isn't a case of trolling. The sad part is that he is dead serious.

I actually do feel bad for him, but there is nothing you or I can say that will help him, simply because you cannot reason with him anymore. Something has terribly fuked his mind, most likely drugs. If there is the slightest chance of recovery, either he needs to help himself or get some prescription to help his brain chemistry. As this thread continues, you're just being unintentionally trolled, so I'd say just let it die out.
1762  Other / Archival / Re: Need 0.04 Loan i pay back 0.06 in MAX 3 days on: June 24, 2014, 07:09:17 PM
Umm are you serious? This is a public forum, why would you post up your ID and personal information like that? Your identity is worth more than this loan amount that you're asking. If that is a real ID of yourself, I would take it off ASAP, for your own safety. Personally, I would never give ID to an individual, and second, if you're going to do that, then at least send it in PM to the lender.
1763  Other / Off-topic / Re: Question - $100 for $100??? on: June 24, 2014, 03:55:46 AM
Well, what I want is something I can keep for up to a few years, while it does not lose value.  Would gold/silver bars be the best way to go?  And where should I actually buy from?

I see you're new to precious metals. Personally, I avoid all Canadian Mint stuff because of milk spotting that the mint couldn't give a shit about fixing. Have a look at the silverstackers or kitco forums and read around. A lot of basic questions can be answered. I have accounts on both and frequent those forums about the same as bitcoin forum. Some sections can only be viewed after you register an account.

1764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.9.2.1 has been released on: June 24, 2014, 01:56:53 AM
I'm wondering if this is an urgent upgrade as well. I'm currently using 0.8.6 and it works fine. Any real need to upgrade to this recent version? I'd really like to just have a core client that is a set-and-forget software rather than one that needs constant updating every few weeks. Currently using MS Windows if that matters at all.
1765  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin tax up to 22% in Greece! on: June 24, 2014, 01:50:05 AM
I don't buy this at all. Even if this were true, can you tell how the government in Greece will enforce a tax on bitcoin and prove that the transaction took place, and on Greece soil for that matter? Look at the US government, the IRS wants to tax bitcoin as property tax. It's only on paper, but they can't do shit to enforce it. They have no infrastructure enforce such a taxation system.
1766  Economy / Lending / Re: Am about to go homeless, could use some help on: June 24, 2014, 01:42:03 AM
I've been homeless for a few days... I've seen CIA watching me in front of my house on several occasions.

Do you see the irony in this statement? Aren't you suppose to be heading west, rotting in a jungle right now? Unless the jungles nowadays has internet that I didn't know about. How can the CIA be watching you at your house, when you're homeless? Or was it a hotel? I guess when drugs fuked you this much, everything is one in the same.
1767  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid for your signature from FXOpen. Weekly payouts. on: June 24, 2014, 01:24:07 AM
Just received payment as well. FXO, can I ask what time zone you are in when setting the start and end dates for a certain period? This recent pay looks like all my posts were accounted for, but the previous two weeks might have been short so I'm just trying to double check how you calculated it.
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jeff Garzik's Bitcoin Balance Revealed on: June 22, 2014, 05:57:36 AM
It's gotta be 348,000 btc, because 348btc is chump change amongst the big names, that's nothing to brag about. For being a core developer, those days you can get hundreds to thousands of btcs per day back when only a handful of people were mining/testing the technology. Why do you think pizza was 10,000 btc back then?
1769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anatomy of a 51% Attack on: June 22, 2014, 05:32:25 AM
Who says it has to be about profit? If someone or some organization is to perform a 51% attack, it's very unlikely they're doing it for profit. Once this occurs, all their btc will also be useless too, so they really only have 1 shot at racking in the profit. If they own 51% of the network, it's much more profitable to mine long term. Rather, a 51% attack will be to maliciously kill off bitcoin.
1770  Economy / Lending / Re: CEX.IO GHS borrowing on: June 22, 2014, 04:20:20 AM
Is there anyone here who is on CEX.IO?  I just started cloud mining there but I barely have 0.7GHs. So can someone borrow me a 2-5GHS voucher for a week? Thank you.

You don't even offer any collateral or interest. Can you tell me why a lender would want to take all the risk but none of the rewards? Guys like this don't even bother thinking at all when asking for a loan. This is an example of yet another thread that adds useless noise to this lending section.
1771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL][Scrypt][Scrypt-N] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: June 22, 2014, 02:05:59 AM
You are going to get 20+MHs on X11, and reduce power costs running GPU.  Look at stats page for X11 Smiley
For help with 280x and 7950 I made a post with my config ... looking for it now.
5mh/s of scrypt would be APPROXIMATELY 20mh/s of x11... it differs a bit depending on what kind of GPUs you are using. But I also moved 5mh/s of scrypt GPUs over to x11 and am getting right around 20mh/s now. As far as profitability... you can very easily compare algos at the top of the wafflepool stats pages. It's got all 3 algos listed and their profit vs litecoin. x11 is currently a bit higher than everything but it changes frequently. Another thing that's nice is that x11 uses about half the power that scrypt does. So you'll at least save money on electricity.

Many thanks for answering the questions. I see currently that scrypt is 170% of LTC, and x11 is 215% of LTC. What confuses me is that x11 algo is about 4x increase in hash over scrypt, so when these percentages increase over LTC is calculated, does that already take into account the 4x increase using the same AMD hardware? So what I'm really trying to ask, is if 5mh/s scrypt and 20mh/s x11 is the current stats on wafflepool (170% and 215% of LTC, respectively), or is it assuming 5mh/s scrypt and 5mh/s x11 is the states at the top?
1772  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL][Scrypt][Scrypt-N] Profit switching pool - wafflepool.com on: June 22, 2014, 12:15:59 AM
I've been on his pool ever since it was in beta mining scrypt and I'm still on that same algo, so hopefully someone can answer this questions. It's summer time and due to heat and electric bill, I need to switch to x11 algo. If I want to switch 5mh/s of scrypt, would it also be roughly 5mh/s mining on x11? If I had the same PC hardware switching over, would profitability be more on x11, using this same pool?
1773  Economy / Lending / Re: Got hacked, need 14BTC, will offer TheBitcoinMuseum and contents as collateral. on: June 21, 2014, 06:30:49 AM
So sorry to hear this. I read the other thread and it's heartbreaking to hear such a thing happen to a long time legit member. I would loan you a partial amount, but 6 months is too long and anything can happen to btc value in that time. Have you tried getting a personal loan from the bank? And also, I would take your personal picture and email off the web for security reasons. You've already been hacked because of security negligence, don't risk anything else.
1774  Economy / Lending / Re: Need $1.25 Paypal Will pay back $2 in 7 days :D on: June 21, 2014, 06:19:44 AM
Omg no collateral, are you kidding me? Why do you need this loan for?? Watch it guys, this might be a huge scam. In all seriousness, shoot me a PM with your paypal address, I'll send you the $1.25. Just pay back to the same email address I sent it from.
1775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think U.S. Marshall auction 29,656.51306529 bitcoins will affect price? on: June 20, 2014, 04:35:29 AM
Yes, it will affect price for sure, either directly or indirectly. The direct way would be the auction winners dumping it on the markets or exchanges. The indirect way is people preemptively sell their bitcoins in anticipation for the dump after the auction. This might have already happened with the recent dip. Btw, this thread belongs in the speculation subforum.
1776  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buy 4 btc pay deposite cash on: June 20, 2014, 04:30:21 AM
For the record, Chase bank does not allow you to deposit cash into another person's bank. And if you want to deposit into your own bank, you'll need picture ID. They really stepped up their game. Also, you might have to offer more. There's no reason for people to sell you at bitstamp rate when they can get much more on localbitcoin. Just letting you know so you don't have high expectations.
1777  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 1,5 Bitcoins. on: June 18, 2014, 08:24:44 AM
Well, My idea is to Start a anonymous hosting provider...

I can provide my IDS to proove my identity.

Haha do you see the irony in this statement? Also your first line about depression has to relevance for a loan. If anything, people will be judgmental, so I would just completely take that out if I were you.
1778  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: US Forex legit? on: June 18, 2014, 05:08:09 AM
^ Thank you. And for anyone else wondering, I spent about an hour doing research on this company before I registered. They are indeed legit, as they're owned by OzForex and comply with all AML/KYC regulations in the US. After I registered, they called me and asked for proof of company, address, and ID.
1779  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling $5 of BTC (using Preev) for $5 USD paypal on: June 18, 2014, 12:57:27 AM
lol $5 worth of btc is chump change. Why would anyone want to scam for that amount. It takes more time reversing the payment than if you were to spend that extra time to work. OP, shoot me a PM, I'll buy your btc. Trusted member here.
1780  Economy / Services / Re: Get paid for your signature from FXOpen. Weekly payouts. on: June 18, 2014, 12:51:22 AM
OP: I wish you'd consider NOT paying for posts made in this thread.

+1
Paid posts in here are useless, because you don't want them advertising your content to yourself, or to other people running this campaign. It bloats the thread of unnecessary stuff, and you're paying for it too. Double negative.
