1441  Other / Off-topic / USPS 1-day Express, took 3 days! on: July 20, 2014, 09:16:31 PM
I mailed something by USPS 1 day express by the cutoff time, it was suppose to arrive the next day in the afternoon. Looking at tracking, it won't arrive until 3 days later, which is not much faster than Priority mail. Now the big kicker: The destination for the package is only 1 hour drive away  Angry. Fukin scam I tell you.

Has this happened to anyone? How should I follow up with this situation?
1442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MoneyPak on: July 20, 2014, 08:50:37 PM
Apparently, if you use a bad moneypak to load your greendot card, you get your account locked and possibly banned.

1443  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 20, 2014, 08:43:36 PM
I have been paid twice, I sent back the money

Props to you for doing that. I know most people on here will just keep it if it goes unnoticed.
1444  Economy / Collectibles / Re: New Physical Bitcoin: AlitinMint.com New Release (Jeanne D' Arc) on: July 20, 2014, 08:34:45 PM
Beautiful coin! I really like the Jeanne D' Arc more than the Newton's mockup. Although, the premium is a bit high. The dull antique finish is rather unique, as most the physical coins out now have the shiny silver finishes. What mint made these coins?
1445  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How easy was it to buy Bitcoin back in 2011? on: July 20, 2014, 08:11:04 PM
In 2011, the only exchanges available were mtgox as the largest, and tradehill was a runner up. There was not AML or any verification for accounts, so it was super easy to deposit and withdraw both btc and fiat. It was nearly free too. They had dwolla back in the days, which only cost 25cents to deposit and withdraw fiat.

It was a lot easier to mine back then, so I didn't purchase a single btc. I did use my mined btc to day-trade on mtgox though, but never purchased additional btc with new incoming fiat.

1447  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Phinnaeus Gage aka ~Bruno Kucinskas - DEBT PAID 7/19/2014 on: July 20, 2014, 07:55:05 PM
Hey bruno, why did you have to make a new account? Are you on temp ban or something? You've been posting from that account for almost a month too.

So, sausages was the reason for missing the conference. Dam them hotdogs.
1448  Economy / Lending / Re: Tiny Loan, on: July 20, 2014, 07:45:22 PM
From what I have seen the guy is either shit at gambling or has serious bad luck, I'm not sure he has ever won from the small amounts he borrows on here.

He normally only borrows what his signature campaign pays him, that's how he funds his load repayments

seems a bit dumb.  why not just wait till the sig campaign pays...then gamble with that..and save all those interest payments.

Easy to say, but do you realize there are so many people that spiral into debt shit hole and can never get out? It's for this same mentality as you mentioned, so it's not that easy for a lot of people. And also realize that it not just individuals; every country spends now so future generations can pay more later. The world revolves around debt, until the reset button is hit.

As for this guy, he needs to gamble, and needs to gamble NOW not later.

1450  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Phinnaeus Gage aka ~Bruno Kucinskas where are you? on: July 20, 2014, 07:06:26 PM
Tell you what, I am so certain that PG is not a scammer that I will personally back him on this.

If this does not shake out in a couple more weeks (exact time TBD) I will pay the amount in BTC or cash directly to you and get the money back from him when he comes around.

I know it has already been worked out, but I just wanted to say this is a very bold statement right here. It shows a lot of trust in the guy. After you confirm he is still ok, then it would make a bit more sense to offer this, however you took all liabilities and wasn't even sure if he was dead on the streets or not.

Glad everything worked out in the end, and I'm also curious to know the story behind this disappearance.
1451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dell.com now accepts bitcoin! on: July 20, 2014, 06:51:16 PM
I think merchnats will keep on being added almost daily with a big one every two or three months, I just wish the price would rise to reflect this.

Price probably rises as new money enters the into the btc market as a result of more merchants accepting btc. However, price is only important if you use btc as an investment/speculation. In this case for merchant and the mass public using btc as a currency, the price is irrelevant. Stability is more important.
1452  Economy / Services / Re: Offer CAD Service, technical drawing on: July 20, 2014, 06:45:12 PM
I only have a business version for autocad. but its possible to import .sldprt into autocad.

So i can help you with your problem. Just contact me via PM with the explicit details.

Thanks but I'll pass. I was really looking for native Solidworks. I believe solidworks is geared more towards 3D modeling and parts assembly, and autocad is great for 2D drawings but lack a lot of the 3D features, even though it can import solidworks files.

Then it should have been "Monday or sooner". I already quoted the terms, but Monday is fine.
1454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: MoneyPak on: July 20, 2014, 06:31:14 PM
I'm a tad confused now. This whole time I though Greendot was the company and moneypaks that you buy is the product from Greendot. But it seems like these are separate companies and separate products?

They can be charged back. Abuse does not seem as widespread as with Paypal, but I'd say, only deal with reputable people.

Which can be charged back, the Greendot card or the moneypak?

Hi I'm Jenna, I'm a 22 year.. Toronto

a/s/l? Oh wait you already mentioned all those  Wink.

This is definitely not a good way to raise money for school. Tuition is absurd nowadays, and still increasing. The amount you get back won't make a dent in the overall cost. In fact, The amount from interest won't even buy you a single text book.

Don't risk what you can't afford to lose, and it seems like you can't even afford to lose this small amount.
1457  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: July 20, 2014, 05:53:47 PM
Yup i understand, but i stop gambling and LEARNED a lot from my loosing, I'm just playing  from free faucets, But now i am focusing in other stuffs and earn legitimate money than gambling..

what about 0.2 BTC?... FULL payment will be on next monday July 28 with 10% interest..

You stopped gambling, but I'm not going to know if you relapse. 0.1 btc only, and after you repay, I'll consider giving you another loan for a little more.

Looking for 0.25 BTC so that I can invest in an Antminer S1.

Denied. I'd rather use the btc to buy my own mining gear.

I'm gonna try this again, .1 BTC loan @ 10% for 1 week.

Denied. Once denied the first time, there is no requesting again. If I approve for a smaller amount than the initial request, then I'll let you know. So for anyone else requesting, think about the amount and duration before you request  Wink

i want to know if its possible to loan 0.4 BTC?

Denied for 0.4btc, but if you want 0.1btc, I can lend that amount to you. You gamble too much for me to loan out 0.4btc.
