1983  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea created Bitcoin to be able to maintain power? on: March 30, 2015, 03:54:49 AM
this is one of the funniest things ive seen in awhile, north korea creator of btc! lol i highly doubt this, but then again you never really know Tongue
Actually it is news like that are spreading because  we don't really know much about origin of it. But people will believe that there is some 'backdoor' or hidden 'take over' button somewhere in the bitcoin code.
And North Korea or whoever will be able to just snatch bitcoin in the future because of it.

No, The reason of news spreading like these are because there are too many conspiracy theorist out there.
The OPs tongue in cheek posting of this in that they're trying to circumvent sanctions and banks that now won't do business with them is a great thing if Kimmyboy needs to transfer coinage via bitcoin to pay for his loyalty bribes and secure the goods that he needs outside of the former banking system that he needed to help his cause. If he didn't repress his people I'd welcome him using bitcoin to handle his affairs. But, I doubt he's using it otherwise we'd know it by semi-frequent large transfers and reoccurring purchases of coinage.

That could be too obvious, he could move as little as 200-300$ transactions very fast like 100 of them in a minute to hide his transfers and fade into the crowd better.

He may be stupid, but i`m sure their central bank officials are just as good as any other country;s
1984  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: March 29, 2015, 11:01:23 PM
Yes I sell softwares and from faucet referrals, i earned a moderate sum.
1985  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you learn about Bitcoin today...? on: March 29, 2015, 10:59:12 PM
Today I learned that less is more.

And that you can only gain bitcoins if you work very very hard, anything less will not get you very far in the bitcoin world. Its very compatitive.
1986  Economy / Economics / Re: Was Bitcoin actually just a Pump and Dump? on: March 29, 2015, 10:56:56 PM

we love bitcoin for its amazing technology, but there is nothing wrong with the volatility now as we're still in the very beginning.
it's a win win. supporting bitcoin and getting nice profits from the volatility.

Volatility can be very bad for consumers and merchants.

I agree that for speculators is good but speculators have only 1 role to stabilize the price, so that later the merchants can join and built businesses on it.

So its perfectly balanced in a free market.
1987  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best antivirus? on: March 29, 2015, 10:55:24 PM
Personal opinions don't matter at all. Tests have been done throughout the years.
Bitdefender Total Security 2015 is currently the best one.

Tests can be subjective also, or just use an average protection standard to measure it.

However i think kaspersky is good because it can detect the new threats, and especially those kinds which target bitcoin like firmwares and rootkit.
1988  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: where you get bitcoin every day? on: March 29, 2015, 10:53:51 PM

Yes I am almost the same with you, currently only get a bitcoin of, trading, gambling, and signature giveaway. but all of that revenue is less clear. Sometimes I don't get any

Yes i would trade carefully, but its not that hard, bitcoin is very predictable if you usethe good tools.

Signature campaign is also good but more like a hobby.
1989  Economy / Economics / Re: Is deflation truly that bad for an economy? on: March 29, 2015, 10:31:44 PM

Yes yes yes! Dont know why nobody gets this.  Most business depend on credit in some fashion.  So a even a steady deflation rate will discourage borrowing which in turn discourage activity.

Deflation is bad for everybody.  Inlflation advantages those with capital but tolerable for most.  Inflation harms those without access to credit

It doesnt matter if things are cheaper in the long run.  What matters is the economic machine keeps running

The same keynesian propaganda nonsese here.

Deflation as i already said will help people have more purchasing power. Giving credit to people is just fixing the problem that was created by it in thefirst place.

While inflation robs people you just give more credit back to them as they were robbed. This whole credit based economy will collapse soon.
1990  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some questions about Mr. Satoshi. on: March 29, 2015, 09:37:58 PM

Banks and old school types aren't going to 'take him out'. It's out of his hands anyway. Everyone knows who developed bittorrent and nothing's been done to them. I think it's simply for the sake of a quiet life. Life is a whole lot more manageable when you're just another nobody.
Yes but banks count not care about bittorrent less. However bitcoin is a direct threat and a very big one against their monopolistic cartel over the monetary supply.

And for that they could take him out, i mean they did that with the CEO of that first bitcoin exchange.

Young woman with bright career and kids , suicided herself accidentally with a little help from a 3 letter agency. Pretty obvious to me that these banksters don't play around, the are very serious about it.

However since satoshi gave out the protocol and the blueprint already, taking him out after would only expose their criminal nasty asses.

They'd had to take him out before he exposed his project , not after it. So if satoshi would reveal himself now, they could probably put some  bogus charges on him for counterfeiting or blablabla, but i dont think they would.

So i think satoshi can now easily reveal himself, because the dice has already been cast a few years ago, now we need a strong philosophical leader to push bitcoin onto the world.

1991  Economy / Economics / Re: Is deflation truly that bad for an economy? on: March 29, 2015, 09:30:11 PM

What kind of companies (save for financial institutions indeed) you mean that hold debt? In fact, companies usually borrow money from banks to finance their working capital or make investments into their fixed assets (property, plant, and equipment). Also, expand more on how businesses can save more money in deflation, through laying off their stuff, maybe?

They save alot of money because the underlying money instrument gets more valuable, so the fact that they sell their products cheaper doesnt matter, because they can also buy more resources with that money and pay less salary for workers (while the purchasing power of that less moeny is still better than of that before).

In inflation they just create a giant debt bubble for the whole country which will pop out every 7-10 years and create massive unemployment.

And after about 50 years the whole system collapses under the huge amounts of debt.

Clock is ticking:

1992  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some questions about Mr. Satoshi. on: March 29, 2015, 09:17:30 PM

Probably because he is afraid of Government, Bank agents etc...?

You can't conclude now because we don't know "who" Satoshi is. What if one of the Bitcoin devs is Satoshi? You can't support a thing forever. He gave an idea, helped it in the beginning and gave it into safe hands.

Well the "dice is cast" now isnt it?

They can't stop bitcoin now so why would the governments try to hurt him?

Besides the bitcoin foundation is doing a pretty bad job to promote bitcoin, it woul be better if it would have an iconic leader so that people would know it better.
1993  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why is no authority after btc-e.com? on: March 29, 2015, 09:12:54 PM
Only thing to say is well played BTC-E!! Dodge the authorities and make a good name to have customers over years. Simply well played!

They are not "authorites" ,nobody gave them authority, they self proclaimed it, they are just a bunch of thieves trying to destroy a very competitive and pro-capitalist business with all their stupid rules and regulation.
1994  Economy / Economics / Re: Is deflation truly that bad for an economy? on: March 29, 2015, 09:10:18 PM

It just means that one business is less profitable than another, that's all. As long as profit earned is above inflation (mind this), the business is sustainable in the long run. Which will never be the case if it continuously suffers losses due to deflation, whatever interest rates might then be. I don't really understand why you are trying to argue against this simple fact.

In deflation the business can save more money and whilst many competitors will compete with it, this could bring true capitalism with better and better products.

In inflation the banks eat your money by inflation and also by debt that you hold. Many companies hold alot of debt, if interest rates were to rise, they would all go bankrupt.

Together wit the CB aswell and later the whole world.
1995  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why is no authority after btc-e.com? on: March 29, 2015, 06:19:35 PM
Probably because no one really knows where they are from.
So you can't say they are something illegal if you don't know which laws apply to them.

Unless money laundry is actually explicitly illegal in the whole world. Don't think that's the case yet Grin

They are from russia, or atleast one of the main owners of it is from there. I just saw an article on coindesk that was talking about them.

I dont think russia has very strict laws about this. Especially now that the western world is banning eastern stuff, you can be sure that the russians will protect their own companies against western threats
1996  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Australian Govt. form asks if I own any Bitcoin of Cryptocurrency on: March 29, 2015, 06:17:00 PM
is the field is compulsory to fillup if not you can leave it with answering them
or just say no and how they will track if you have

Haha you dont know statists very well then.

If he rejects them they will harass him and surveil him, because he dared to say "gtfo" to the government.

I think he just needs to write whatever he wants there, if he will pax tax on it then better say yes because they will find out, but if he doesnt pay tax then they probably have no way to find out...
1997  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea created Bitcoin to be able to maintain power? on: March 29, 2015, 06:13:26 PM
I don't think the North Korean would create something that they can't even control. bitcoin is about freedom, and freedom doesn't exist in NK.

Exactly you nailed it. That sums up really this question.

See communism is a tyrranical regime, and they cant even think about freedom, nor to create something that will eventually destroy their tyrrany.

Yes bitcoin is freedom, so all these stupid conspiracy theorists who think bitcoin is a NWO bullshit must reexamine the issue.

Ok thanks I will keep recommending it to my friends.

Sure, since so many newbies dont know how to secure their funds well, we need to help them keep their money safely.

I just saw another minor exchange got hacked and hacker stole some funds, so its hard to keep your money secure but it's possible!
