Without places to buy/sell Monero, who would want to use it? Only a small portion (mainly libertarians, cypherpunks, tech enthusiasts) will support XMR. The rest will carry on as usual with top-tier coins. Expect the battle between privacy coins and mainstream governments to last for a long time. While we've already seen that delisting from big exchanges does affect Monero's price, I still hope you're wrong. Monero does deserve more attention. The rather silent war against it proves this point big time. Monero is even more pro-liberties than Bitcoin. But yeah, sadly going for beliefs rather than profits is a small niche.

But AI could easily generate me in a hospital bed with a tube down my throat - unable to talk. :/
Of course that there are this kind of scams too, and the number of them is increasing. I've thought of them, but I tried to not give out ideas... For now for such cases maybe a WhatsApp video call can still hold as proof... until deep fake can be much more widely used.

Algo: SCRYPT So you taken the name of the most well known Bitcoin wallet and made a scrypt altcoin with that name? Wow. You may call it innovative thinking. I call it dangerously close to scam.

This needs imho a bump, hence I'll add an update of my situation.
Something bad has happened to my computer. Somehow a Windows update managed to make my Windows no longer start, no matter what I've tried. This means I had to reinstall and this means that I've lost my WSL / Linux under Windows along with what was installed there (an Electrs server). After reinstalling Windows I've given Fulcrum another chance - it has a proper Windows exe after all - and right now I'm using only Fulcrum.
Some more details: during the past months I've also played with cables and I guess that one was not too good, the data from my external HDD got corrupted. That was the blockchain and the Electrs data. For quick block download I've set up all I've could to SSD and this was also an eye opener.
In my old setup Fulcrum was too slow simply because I've been using it from the external HDD (hats off, Electrs managed to behave well even in that setup). On SSD Fulcrum runs just fine.
My current setup has for Bitcoin data 3 folders symlink-ed to SSD (blocks\index, chainstate, indexes) and also Fulcrum.conf contains for datadir a folder on SSD. The total now taken on SSD is 204 GB, which I can manage. And with this setup it all runs just fine. Keep in mind that while bitcoind I run almost every time I open my computer, Fulcrum I open only when I need to open my Electrum, which is not that often. Still, it's okay.
So if you are under Windows and have some space on SSD, Fulcrum is definitely an option to consider for electrum server.

What may be wrong with HW keys that hold my pgp secret? Don't say about physical damage. Let's say a very bad case of bad luck and every time and every laptop you try to use to read any of those USB key it breaks them. What then? How confident would you feel when the second one is already broken and you still didn't manage to make more backups? Yes, I know, it's extreme... Still, I recommend some physical means too as backup. We are in 2024. USB is still widely used, but various flavors tend to change the trend. I would not be surprised if in 10 years already the USB port will not look like now. I expect USBC, for example for the port. Plus: 25 years ago CD/DVD was a thing, now it's no more; are you sure your kids or nephews will know - when the time comes - what to do with an USB stick? Will you be sharp enough in 20-30 years to change the storage (from USB stick) to something that will be then "in trends"? I will only add this Star Trek classic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hShY6xZWVGE

Fixed supply of BTC doesn't matter, when the price can be infinitely inflated by Tether printer.
There are 2 components of the price: the price to get Bitcoin via PoW and the speculation "add-on". Tether part is speculation and can burst at any second (and it usually does in crypto winter). On the other hand, the fact that the supply is fixed comes with acknowledging that bitcoin is very scarce, hence inviting the ones smart enough to invest in it. And from there the price grows in a correct, organic manner. However, you may not care about this, or maybe you just want to troll. And a famous quote pretty much applies here: If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.
