I didn't get to read the articles, but this made me curious. I started somewhat abruptly with this 4th, and after reading it I got convinced to make a mental note and come back to the rest too one of the next few days. I agree with PP, the article gets quite dense in some places, needing quite some focus when reading it (luckily I am not unfamiliar - thanks to bitcointalk - with US financial decisions of the past). But it's a good one and I like the analogy with the printing press (although repeated a bit more time than I would have done it). The fourth article analyzes the political side of Bitcoin, which according to the author is not the same as ideological, and on this point I do not entirely agree. For the author, although traditionally the defense of private money had been made from individualist ideology, Bitcoin is used by people of various ideologies, including radical leftists, and therefore makes the distinction. I see it more a choice of words from author's side. I like the way it was written It empowers the individual which is a profoundly political act. Bitcoin gives power to the people, power that most don't fully understand (I know you do understand it, you are old enough around here). People can make a (political or not) statement with rather small risk 1 to see his money gone because government and the bank decided so (probably the risk is small in US for this to happen, but in China, Russia, ... or even Canada, ... you know...). This kind of power can change the world. Can start revolution(s). Gives more freedom. And all that can be seen as political (generally political, no matter what politics/what ideology). .. At least this is my take on all this. _____ 1 Some risk still exist, since the "state" can harm the people you care about, or, if you don't know how to properly store your coins it may get access to them. Plus, Bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous, hence it can be tracked, in some cases even back to you (of course, all this is known). |

Umm... vazusem si eu acest concurs, dar nu l-am postat aici intrucat credeam ca le postam doar pe cele care nu necesita conturi pe alte site-uri... Ca acesta mai exista si altele, cum ar fi cele organizate de Sportsbet, de pilda sau altele organizate de diverse cazinouri... Vrei sa le postam si pe acestea de acum incolo?
Sincer, nu știu ce să zic. Nu le-am prea urmărit, iar acesta îmi sărise în ochi. Din câte îmi amintesc, am mai postat uneori și de astea... Dacă ar fi mai multă activitate, aș supune la vot. The last few positive news (mostly ETF) didn't materialize yet into anything, hence the market is mostly playing a waiting game.
Plus it's summer (and holidays), the things are supposed to go slow.
I see now a fair price compared to how near the next halving is, but this can go up suddenly or can go lower too for a while.
I'd be surprised to see 33k before September, a 28k-32k limbo can still last.
But this is a personal opinion. I may be right or I may be wrong. Time will tell.

The block times deem to go slower than the 6/h (well, last hour was unusually good, ignore that) and that will not do good for the tx fees.
While the difficulty is expected to drop at next adjustment, I would be rather careful with predicting/expecting low fees.
But maybe I'm just too pessimistic...

La asemenea sume clar un hardware wallet. Nu te mai risca cu portofel doar pe comp/tel, un hardware wallet face banii.
Eu am (pentru mult mai puțini bani de păzit!!) un Ledger vechi și sunt încă mulțumit. Lumea laudă Trezor, ar trebui să fie o variantă foarte bună.
Și dacă întrebi pe secțiunea internațională, vei afla și de alte variante bune (sau mai bune).
Mie îmi face cu ochiul și SeedSigner, dar nu e chiar hardware wallet...
Îmi pare rău pentru banii pe care i-ai pierdut. Trebuia să fi luat hardware wallet mult mai devreme.
Și ca idee: după ce iei noul portofel, să generezi pe el seed nou, apoi să îl verifici (restore) pentru siguranță, și doar apoi transferi banii pe el.

The tx fee is not always high, so a paper wallet of .001BTC should not become worthless as a result of the fees, you'll just need to find the best moment to spend it. However, that is by far not a problem yet. Even if it's 5 inputs, it's still OK. But the higher the number of inputs, the sooner it'll get you into troubles.

Sunt cam scump la vorbă, că și cu timpul stau rău, și sunt și de pe telefon pentru o vreme.
Am reușit azi dimineață să aduc la zi și anunțurile de concursuri (sau cel puțin adăugirile), mersi că le postezi.
La Utopia ratez tura asta, dar la Sinbad cred că mă încadrez. Îmi pare rău că la concursuri atât de simple cu premii așa faine prezența este atât de slabă .. (pe de altă parte, mai bune șanse pentru noi!)

It seems you are unclear about the concept of public perception. If the perception is that a bunch of rouge DT members are handing out red-tags based on their own biases, then the perception is the trust system is fucked. After somebody starts to really spend time on this forum, it won't be long until he/she will notice the trust "numbers" tend to change now and then. Then the next step is to see how good or bad it actually is. I think that it's OK if people have different views in certain cases, it would be utterly boring if we would all think the same. And while I don't agree with some of the views/decisions/feedbacks Poker Player has made, I do agree that somebody who has bought account is shady. And in the last 5+ years this was made clear in many occasions. On the other hand, maybe it would be the time to educate people that higher ranked accounts are not necessarily better, that even an account with positive feedback can be bought and scam, to basically trust nobody but math. Then maybe, after a while, I would get to agree with DireWolfM14 that such tags are wasted time. Just, sadly, I don't think that this is feasible (but I'd be happy to be proven wrong). |
