I think the reasoning behind his math:
Bitfuty Power / Antminer Power = Bitfury is drawing 4.615 times more power. And if same Antminer @ 14.5 TH/s would be 4.615 times bigger it would hash at 14.5 x 4.615 = 66.92 TH/s
He should complete that calculations saying that to get to that level it would cost only $440 x 4.615 = $2030.60 in Antminers And the cheapest Bitfury at same power draw would be $55 x 66TH/s = $3630.00 which is (2030.60 / 3630) x 100 = 56% higher in $$$
/Highfive !

I have hit 3 blocks on Kano, none on Bitminter but I did start there.
I hit 2 blocks in 11 days with the same S7. That S7 is a legend.
I have it at home ;-)

Just a little update for those of you who still use the monitor and notifications. I went through and did a little housekeeping today. I have turned off any account which has not had a hashrate recorded in a long time ( 425+ accounts! ) If I turned off your account but you still wanted to get block notifications, just log back in and go to your settings and check the box for active account.
And, as I was writing this I got the notification that we just found a block!
Thanks
Thanks !

gee... We had a real quick block, but right now it seems we have a hard as a diamond again... Is it me, or are we having bad luck lately? last week only 3 blocks... This game required patience, look at the horizon, not your feet.

three blocks a day is great. Only thing thats a tad disapointing is the reward per block... Due to higher pool hashrate, the profit for each block dropped. Thats no problem, as it should result in more blocks.... But its a direct hit in the wallet, and sure feels bad... all that matter is the %PAPPS

What with Suprnova? Does not work . Who knows ?
The pool seems down since a few hours, I was using it this weekend https://www.suprnova.cc/ => main page said there is no active worker or activities http://rvn.suprnova.cc/ => is completely down

damn really wish I bought a masternode this week instead of a few weeks ago lol. I hope the price goes up soon though, what do you guys think is dropping the price so far? This project seems pretty legit and has good support Well there is 2.5 millions coins in circulation now. Not much volume, demands, Price go down.

KDB Restart NOW Getting a resource problem - all is OK so far but I can see it causing problems shortly if I don't give it a kick.
Mining is unaffected - just the web site will show lotsa zeros and '?' while restarting. Mine on.
Unfortunately the pool dropped all miners and thus everyone failed over initially from 14:08 until 14:13 Not long after this the pool crashed - however in the crash it wrote a corrupt worker status record to the reload file and KDB couldn't handle the corrupt record and crashed also, until I found and removed the corrupt record from the reload file - which required stopping the pool while I did that. The console log says all is OK, but I'll rerun the shifts on the backup server and make sure they match/correct any differences before any more payouts. Sorry about the long mining outage - but all OK again finally. thanks for all the honest update about the pool issues. Appreciated. Keep calm and mine on

I've got 5 s9's in the cart now that I'd love too save some BTC on if you don't mind sharing! That is, of course, after CryptoStash gets a pick...
Ho men ... people are so greedy, New account begging for coupons. Going to resell them right ? GTFO thanks

I truly believe that GPU mining is far from dead.
Might not be as cool as the last 12 months, but i'm pretty sure there will be new coins to mine. Not so long ago, AMD was to be dead and Nvidia to rules and this is not the case anymore. (With the Equihash Asic)
The real issue I have is a coins using a "Asic proof" algorithm that won't fork when an ASIC beat them at their game and do jackshit about it.
I understand the lucrative part of it but not the non-ethic decision.
Just my 2 cents

They really worked hard to not show any of their faces ... smells very very bad imo

I pulled the trigger on one with a 200 coupon
you gotta think too, these are "mini" what is the regular version going to be
Yeah I think I will pass. Concentrate my money elsewhere for now.

If i had a 420 coupon, i would probably get one if Zcash is not going to fork.
Zcash is not forking. They do not care who is paying the 20% dev fee. Well I think it is a great reason to buy one now. but it is bitmain and i don't HAVE a coupon
