21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ton coin and it's network on: June 14, 2024, 05:51:36 PM
hold your TON for it may outrank the ones above the list. bought just recently and hold more of the memecoin in the TON network  Grin yeeeh shitcoins baby! lol

i wouldn't recommend using the telegram wallet but the toonkeepr will be better at holding tokens. if you want to play games in telegram since there are lots of casinos and games already where you can earn tokens, yes the telegram wallet will be an option.
22  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you prefer between pure price action and indicators? on: June 14, 2024, 05:32:04 PM

indicators. It always works unless the unexpected happens. there were times that you may really not expect things to happen like when it hits the peak, the prices start to dive and then suddenly the price goes back up again but macd and rsi don't follow the price pump.  this is where the convergence and divergence theory has to work.

wars and whatever happens in geopolitics are often the things that affect the prices or even just the fomc.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This money-making plan might catch your interest. on: June 13, 2024, 08:49:09 PM
All this in the name of people trying to make money, some were loosing it instead, we just have to be more careful on offers like this, some are nothing than scam, am not saying this is one of them, but any system that tends to offer free money for nothing is likely to be a scam if we are not being observant about it, there is no one that can offer free money to others on a platter of nothing being done as task that attracts for such reward.

the problem is that people believe in this kind of opportunity. they think because it's not asking money from them means it's not a scam but getting their KYC IDs in exchange for the tokens they get is something they should be alarmed about.

not familiar to the company but they have 3 tokens namely UTN, DRN, and UMT.  Roll Eyes  feels like 2017 again at the time when bitconnect is holding lots of conferences.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: How is the cost of living in your country? on: June 13, 2024, 08:39:53 PM
Let's hope things improve in the near future because the current state of things is unsustainable.

Its never going to be sustainable though. Inflation is just going to ruin everything and that is how economic works. Essentially everything might not be susitanable with the hiking living cost which is currently why there are so many people that moves to 3rd world country on Asia that has cheaper living cost compared to their own while still remote working on their country

Raising cost of living forces people to work more. Working more hours to buy less makes the rich richer.

Beggars cant be choosers. Its always the bottom of the pyramid that is going to suffer so in this case the working class. Its actually worse on 3rd world country though but due to cheaper living cost there, its still bearable

it's still hard for someone in the 3rd world unless they earn USD. but if they rely on the salaries from local companies, they'd not live a comfortable life as before Covid.
the covid started all these and then prices moved up while more companies started shutting down.

it's fine if a person is not feeding 3-5 mouths a month but if you are a family man, you can really feel the economy getting worse almost every day while bills increase almost every month.

25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is China going to shift from Gold to crypto as ICBC considers ETH a digital oil? on: June 13, 2024, 09:56:35 AM
they have successful CBDC is because its citizen also using it. but it was also not working from the begining.
In a dictatorship country like China or North Korea, I don't consider it as success because their government can force citizens to do many things without voice against governmental policies.

Their government surely consider it as their success but for their citizens, it's not success at all. They were not given choices and rights to pick what to use, future of the country. Only Xi wants to do many things in his close-minded vision to maintain his power and to satisfy his powerful dream. In Russia, there is another man like this Putin and in North Korea, there is Kim Jong Un.

CBDCs will be a global trend when governments want to take advantage of blockchain technology to maximize their governance on citizens.

https://cbdctracker.org/
https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/cbdctracker/
https://cbdctalks.com/

according to that link, the CBDC is still pilot. but whatever they do in their country is their business.
when it comes to ETH though, i think its every ETH investor's business. why the choose Eth is insane when they know its transaction fee is worse.

would it make sense that they are looking at the advantage of the unli supply token than having the limited supply?
26  Economy / Economics / Re: Hyperinflation - Will it lead Countries to Adopt Bitcoin? on: June 13, 2024, 08:59:31 AM
Very few countries in the world ever have or likely ever will receive hyper inflation.
What is considered hyperinflation is when it exceeds 50%. There have been many countries who had undergone hyperinflation but quite a few have already recovered meanwhile one country remains to have the worst inflation for probably more than a decade or so by now,

Venezuela has an inflation rate of 283%, followed by Lebanon with 212% and Argentina in third place with 161%. The next country on the list is below 100% even if not below 50%.
Quote
The current period that most of the countries in the world are facing is just low to medium inflation
Inflation not exceeding 2% is actually quite normal and, in some cases, even encouraged.

Turkey is still on its highest, more 65% of inflation iirc. they were looking for ways to make money so they charge tarriff of about 40% on Chinese EVs as well. couldn't also see this country adopting BTC but seeing countries like them are just following the what EU is doing so it will not matter for them even when they see crypto been adopted elsewhere.

if EU and US is regulating crypto, its still considered adoption as it means its  legal to use.

27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is China going to shift from Gold to crypto as ICBC considers ETH a digital oil? on: June 13, 2024, 06:17:19 AM
Statements such as this are not new. I believe it was 2017 when another Chinese bank released a list of "good" cryptocurrencies and this centralized shitcoin (meaning Ethereum) was on top of that list.

That doesn't mean that China is going to adopt crypto or even ETH instead of gold. They are still pretty much on a gold accumulation spree and the more tensions rise the more they'll accumulate gold.
I seriously doubt that they have the delusion of thinking a centralized shitcoin that they don't even control has any potential for their country.

Remember that China has its own successful CBDC that is growing and they'll focus on increasing its adoption not start advertising shitcoins instead.

they have successful CBDC is because its citizen also using it. but it was also not working from the begining.

the news is surprising to me because they have the NEO and the VET that were pretty much known since the country is exporting products and the project is for tracking counterfeit products.

ETH is not even theirs which means if they pump eth, many tokens will also pump.i think they also up for BTC, they can't just ignore this after all its citizens have been been mining BTC in the begining of BTC.

28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: P2P trade advise on: June 12, 2024, 06:46:09 PM
crypto is legal in Estonia. and you don't need to register a company and have a VASP license since all you want to do is exchange your crypto to EUR.

you just have to register to an exchange like binance and go to the p2p where you set to receive EUR for your BTC. the bank likely won't know whether you trade BTC but money will be deposited by someone who bought your BTC on the p2p platform.
29  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Is China going to shift from Gold to crypto as ICBC considers ETH a digital oil? on: June 12, 2024, 06:16:33 PM
Quote
In a detailed analysis report, ICBC emphasized the rapid development and increasing diversity of digital currencies. The bank compared Bitcoin with gold, highlighting the former's advantages in terms of divisibility and portability. These features make Bitcoin a more practical asset for transactions and investments.

The bank has labeled Ethereum as 'Digital Oil', indicating its recognition of the growing importance and potential of this digital currency. This comparison suggests that Ethereum, like oil in the physical world, plays a crucial role in the digital economy.

the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), one of the biggest banks in China praises ETH as digital oil as they halt buying Gold. difficult to believe when you read news like this when the country is known for its strict rules. when they allowed Hong Kong to have BTC and ETH ETF, there were already speculations the country may soon be reversing its crypto ban.

with such news, is it a sign?

30  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some bad uses of bitcoin. :'( on: June 12, 2024, 05:51:31 PM

it's very risky to make transactions involving illegal stuff in BTC unless they can find a way to make it safer for them. afaik more XMR are used in the darkweb than BTC.

maybe if they are in a country where Bitcoin is not regulated but most of the crooks are not fond of losing money as BTC price is not stable. they'd be killing each other when they find out the next hour that the price dips below the agreed price.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you bought AI tokens? on: June 12, 2024, 04:40:14 PM
Omni Network (OMNI)、Numerai (NMR)、SSV Network (SSV),they seem pretty good.
First, AI tokens are not generally bad but we need to be careful about them, at least for now. The fact that we are in the technological age where AIs are being developed means that AI tokens might appreciate so much in the future, but certainly, not soon as many might believe, the token doesn't mean the bot itself. We have quite a number of them now but I was late in buying the one I own now. I only bought the AI token due to its name, but I was so wrong. If I didn't limit the loss, I would be losing almost 50% of my investment now which has never happened to me in my quest for crypto investments. So, it is still regretful buying the AI token.

Besides, what struck my attention are the listing tokens above. Did you mean that OMNI is an AI token? You will be so wrong in this regard. This is an L1/L2 project and I bought a little after its listing a while ago.

was also surprised he listed OMNI.

although AI is just a new narrative in crypto, i gamble a bit for it maybe i can make some bucks for it. i couldn't help seeing how much it had tried going up for a short period. so i just put some old AI tokens, just 22 FET in my wallet, it's not really much but i bought it at $2 and i'm now at a loss. can't keep up trading all of the tokens i got, i should have sold it when it peaked.

32  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happened to the crypto market? on: June 11, 2024, 06:36:00 PM

i have the feeling this is one last dip to make it to $80k and then another constant dip again back to 70k while the altcoins are still going to keep the slow movement of prices. it's not a sustainable market for altcoins investors, i sold some to buy BTC already. i think this is where the market will be for the rest of the year.

some say grayscale dumping and some say FOMC report coming and they expect something and then some say War coming since Putin is coming. i guess everyone is selling when war comes.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could Fan Tokens: be a New Trend in Crypto? on: June 11, 2024, 05:15:31 PM
In my opinion, with the upcoming Euro 2024, it can be a good trend, but you should check if it's official fan tokens or another meme coin, and be careful, because it can be very volatile!

The picture contradicts everything you've said so far. Im not even feeling bullish with fan token at this moment. People have been massively leaving it. The fan tokens saw a massive bearish trend. Euro 2024 is not generating excitement for fan tokens. Fan tokens are quite similar to meme tokens but it has better utility. The chart shows that the fan token has been continuously dumped.

In terms of valuation, fan tokens aren't even on par with meme tokens. The total combined market capitalization for fan tokens is less than $300 million USD.

It's a long way from the total combined valuation of all meme tokens. The era of fan tokens has already passed. It will not experience a significant spike when it is being presented to the public. We can't expect massive bump to happen with fan tokens.

Fan tokens are dying now. People know that if trade meme token is far better than fan token. It's sad fan token is finished.

i don't even know there are fan tokens. only the fans of the particular team will likely invest in them.
i
there are memecoins that sounds like a fan token, a celebrity fan lol Iggy Mother Token which is considered memecoin recently trending makes a lot of buzz in the crypto news sites actually, inviting a lot of users in crypto especially the music fans since this Iggy is a rapper from Australia. funny because she strikes back to Vitalik thinking the transaction fees go directly to Vitalki's wallet address.  Grin

34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did you think about the future of dogecoin? on: June 11, 2024, 05:02:57 PM
No one knows what the future prospects of Dogecoin are. But I think, it seems that Dogecoin is not worthy of being a long-term investment because the supply is unlimited so it tends to make the price decrease. Apart from that, Dogecoin's fundamentals are not strong, especially since the supply to the market is so large that the coins are unlimited. However, if you still hold it, the decision to sell or not depends on you. The important thing is to sell if the price rises and can be profitable, never FOMO and FUD in cryptocurrency investments.

Of course it isn't. Only a fool would think otherwise. The unlimited supply is a dealbreaker for me. In economic terms, Dogecoin should become less valuable over time. It's already struggling to reach $1. The only reason it "pumped" for a short time was because of Elon Musk's endorsement. Without this guy, Dogecoin would've been doomed by now.

People are only buying Dogecoin and similar "meme" coins with the hopes of getting rich quick. But that's not the way it works. They'll ultimately get "rekt" due to poor investment decisions. Why not choose serious projects such as Bitcoin or Ethereum instead? Long-term speaking, the returns are much higher than "meme" coins. As it's said in the real world, "you get what you pay for". Why do you think "meme" coins are so cheap?

i'm still hoping there is a good chance the price will rocket up and continue to do so even with the supply issue. for several years it has maintained its tank above though. if there are big asset management companies going to file an ETF for doge, i think it will still be making the price shoot to mars.  the selling point i think is still doge decentralization and still a good option for a store of value.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find a crypto with a potential growth of x50 on: June 11, 2024, 03:11:08 PM

it may not be x50 but there are lots of coins out there that are worth investing. you just have to pick several of them to hit your goal. all the signs are already up there in the ranking of coins. if ETH is the 2nd, then other top coins could potentially give you x20.

the issue however is that waiting for it to happen. it could make you think it will never happen when every cycle the coins will take you back to the price 4 years ago which is frustrating to see. for a long-term holder. this is why crypto investors, need to learn to trade and buy again at the right time.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A way to be safe from Rug pull on: June 10, 2024, 07:55:45 PM

thats a cool niche. something that isn't very common on twitter. most of the crypto accounts on twitter are often just shills. i checked all their posts whether they shout on one of the memes i bought, so far they didn't mention any of them so i'm fine.

i'd follow just so i'd be aware which one they think will rugpull anytime. saving just a little amount of my memecoin investment before it goes zero will still be a big help.
37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny - Pacquiao VS Chihiro Suzuki Exhibition Match on: June 10, 2024, 06:40:49 PM

this is already a crossover fight and then they labeled an exhibition fight at the same time. the Japanese would love this. they are already enjoying as they exchange threats to KO each other.  anyway, this is Pacquiao. it's insane that he kept getting involved in exhibitions since it's of no value to him right now. it's not even an election time.
38  Economy / Economics / Re: Things to avoid when you earn a lot or become rich on: June 09, 2024, 07:46:16 PM
2.Pay your Debt

Having debt or bad debt is why most of us continue to suffer because it's like a weed that, if you don't cut the root, will grow again. And the debt, when you don't pay it, has interest compounding. So your number one expense is to pay off the debt when it earns a lot of money. Be responsible not to ignore the people we owe money to, talk to them, say thank you, and pay all the debt.

We should also know that our reputation also depends on it, and when we know how to pay, many people will trust you. And when you know how to pay off debt, you also show that we are not only thinking about ourselves.

Having a debt without paying it back is not a good behavior. Though I believe that many people are used to borrowing money, there's nothing they can do without borrowing money from others, and after getting the money they want, they become stronger than the owner. Someone who is in debt can never be satisfied with their life since any little amount of money they receive will be used to pay the person to who they owe it. Bad debt normally leads people to suffer, let's avoid debt with anyone, and if we do, borrow only what we can afford to repay because it will damage our image.

That's the sad truth about life, when they are in need and you were there, they're happy. But when the time of payment is being asked on them, they almost no care at all.

Anyway, it's not a loss for me and the lenders that have been so good to their friends and relatives when they're in need.

That's the loss of the borrower and they can never find us again with that in their condition.

That is natural in life, most of us have experienced it, some of our friends will take advantage of our good deeds to borrow money from us, but when the time comes to repay, they don't care. It's true, some of my friends borrowed money from me and refuse to repay me. So one day, I requested one of them to borrowed me some money, which was less than what he owed me. After receiving the money from him, I didn't care that he owed me money, I paid him back and he didn't think of paying me back again. They will never come to me for money again.

that's becoming generous. to which if one hears the story another friend of you will come to ask. don't be afraid to show that you are not nice. if you can say no, say it.

for me, i'd rather avoid showing that i have money, this at least will make them attempt to ask. i make sure they know i have no money and just wear the simplest clothes or just buy a second-hand car to avoid the impression that i'm rich.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: USA lose oil but will replace with btc and crypto on: June 09, 2024, 07:22:49 PM
Arabs emirates moving away from usd.
Well USA don't care Because they have btc and crypto.
And USA got their own crude oil too.
So USA now will make the petro dollar to crypto dollar we see that USA will be main seller of crypto you need crypto you buy it from USA it Will be bigger than oil

nice you really are seeing things that are coming in the future. don't know what to say, TH you on? i'd like some of that.

it has to be a product. crypto is not a product that will be useful to anyone as every country has its currency, why would other countries buy crypto?
petro is necessary for energy, it's still what we use for our engines. to dominate, the country has to have control over crypto or BTC to enforce PetroBTC or PetroCrypto.
40  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Implications of War on Individuals on: June 09, 2024, 05:05:07 PM

By the way today I saw a video which is an extract from a TV commercial that was run on Ukrainian TV, (are you readyfor it?), in 1997. In this TV commercial 2 young guys avertise some kind of a new computer game whereby the gamers play a war game with Abrams tanks. In this war Ukraine is occupied by occupiers from Russia.

This proves that CIA has been working on this project since the beginning of 90-ies. They knew and planned a war between Russia and Ukraine in 1997 and they started preparing the young population of Ukraine for this war almost 30 years ago.

I also remember a simple game of naval battle, where Ukraine and Russia are fighting each other in the Black Sea. It turns out that this game was created by a resident of Sarov in the Russian Federation, Vadim Bashurov, back in 1992. Then can we assume that Russia was planning to attack Ukraine even before the game you’re talking about appeared in 1997?
https://news.obozrevatel.com/show/lite/v-igre-iz-90-h-morskoj-boj-uvideli-predskazanie-vojnyi-mezhdu-rossiej-i-ukrainoj.htm#:~:text=% D0%9E%D0%BA%D0%B0%D0%B7%D1%8B%D0%B2%D0%B0%D0%B5%D1%82%D1%81%D1%8F%2C%20%D0% B8%D0%B3%D1%80%D1%83%20%D0%B2%201992%20%D0%B3%D0%BE%D0%B4%D1%83,%D1%80%D0%BE%D0 %B4%D0%B0%20%D0%BE%D1%82%D0%B2%D0%B5%D1%82%D0%BE%D0%BC%20%D0%BD%D0%B0%20%D1 %80%D0%B0%D1%81%D0%BF%D0%B0%D0%B4%20%D0%A1%D0%A1%D0%A1%D0%A0.

However, most likely this is just a coincidence.

Putin already reminded NATO since the 90s not to expand to the east every time they add nations to NATO that are around Russia. they do have an agreement with Gorbachev at that time regarding the expansion of NATO. still, Putin was a bit patient that time until Ukraine was about to join.

there has been news recently that Russia's fleet is going to Cuba by the way, i have no idea why Putin will be going there but this is definitely going to make things worse. he must have been fed up that US missiles were hitting Russia's territory.
