601  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any recommendations for another casino like this one? on: January 23, 2024, 06:56:06 PM

doesn't have anything new in the casino. it needs registration to check the live dealer but i would assume this is where they make the difference as the dealers are wearing bikinis?  right?   sure the owner knows how to market a casino if this is the case. sex sells all the time.

haven't registered and i may not until someone confirms they wear bikinis.  Roll Eyes
602  Economy / Economics / Re: A person that is against the creation of CBDC. on: January 23, 2024, 06:46:10 PM
too late for Trump the USDT and the rest of the stablecoin have already been created. CBDC was created a long time ago already which is these stablecoins and people didn't even realize it. nicely done.

but they know the world already is moving in this direction if the US does not have the stablecoin, they will be left behind in this development.
if you look around already over the internet, USDT is widely adopted so why would their government have to create another CBDC?
603  Economy / Economics / Re: The 150 year old maths and logic theory on the best period to make money: on: January 23, 2024, 06:41:05 PM

and they are releasing such data?
they had this all along back in 1930 and only this time that they released it to the public, this has got to be the cruel world for those old folks.
and for the new generation who are going to struggle in the coming years because of the inflation we have today where investing is not possible.

one would rather believe in what is happening based on the economic charts and which business works than this old paper.
604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Look Out For When Picking Your Favourite Coin? on: January 23, 2024, 05:40:05 PM

you're going to look for which of the coin could go up in less than a week which means you will have to add a lot of altcoin charts in your traidingview and monitor each of them to see when it's time to buy and time to sell. traders often just trade on BTC/USD, there is no favorite coin but BTC and just making money.

right now, you must be loving lots of coins since they all crash. it's just choosing which of them is going to the moon as early as possible.
605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You will do in this situation? on: January 23, 2024, 05:06:08 PM
If you were in this situation, what would you do? Introduce him to sports betting or let him stick to playing slots. Yesterday, I just let it go but we still often meet at other activities.

But if I may ask, how is this your problem? Why you creating problem for yourself where there's none? Well, if I happen to be in your situation, I will absolutely mind my business and allow him to focus on what works for him. You said he watch football and knows about many teams. It shows that he knows about sport betting but deliberately turning away from it for a reason best known to him. Gambling is a thing of personal choice and it's not ideal to pressure someone to do what you think is the best. You have no idea probably, he already tried sports betting in the past and it didn't work well for him. Watching football alone doesn't make you a good sport gambler.

Personally, I see it as an offense when you attempt to interfere in others gambling activities uninvited unless you have some close relationship with them. It can be difficult to know how someone will react when you try to talk to them about a sensitive issue like gambling and in this your case, it's not just normal discussion but you are trying to make him switch from his prefer choice of gambling. The best thing to do sometime is to leave things the way they are.

lol i see the point. i would let him be as well. unless i see the guy is into Bitcoin then we have something in common and probably i can sell him BTC and real cash for me.

he must have some idea about sports betting he just didn't go into that. slots are easier and earn money right away than having to withdraw from a betting platform and process with exchanges to turn it into cash.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that you will be hold till next Bull Run on: January 22, 2024, 08:38:39 PM
We've seen waves of bull but actual bull session is still unknown yet but people including op, taking preparation from now,! Thats good for preplanning before any occasion like bull run! Well i don't start taking preparation yet but my preparation will be simple. For me, i won't expect much from my holded altcoins to become raise up like 15x-20x or more. And Thats why I'll purchase some potential altcoins like eth bnb ada dot! That's all, enough. But I could include one or two altcoins later in my portfolio if i found it necessary
Ethereum may not pump so hard giving the credible amount of profit of which a person makes the investment. Most Altcoins now are preparing their ground and taking advancement for their project in terms of Bitcoin halving cause they believe if Bitcoin should get into the Bull run then they will also be positively affected. I think the Sol should be one on the list, has done it several times and still possible to make it happen again, including getting some new Altcoins, presume with good potential.

the ICOs are like reviving this year. i'm sure you have noticed there are some projects doing presale already and because of this i think 2024 is just like the ICO year 2017 where all the tokens are also skyrocketing, this is really a huge year of crypto especially because of the ETFs approved by SEC.

ETH will be huge and i think including the L1 projects that are already in the market. if BTC goes more than $100K, ETH will also go up, $10k hopefully.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chances for approving a spot Ethereum ETF? on: January 22, 2024, 08:13:28 PM

although approving ETF depends on who is filing it. everything is too uncertain for the SEC to approve until they are done trolling it. i don't see a lot of discussion about ETH spot ETF, most probably Coinbase is also custodial.

if they approve Bitcoin ETF then there is also a chance of ETH ETF, we shall see how many times they have to reject this one yet. but now we know they approve the ETF when the price is about to get dumped.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to buy TON coins? on: January 22, 2024, 07:14:09 PM
Explain it to us, why Ton is so good. Sell us Ton

TON is like an L1 platform and it has a userbase because almost everyone today is using Telegram.
i wanted to buy TON too but it sounds like it's very hard to become anonymous with this coin since you will need to be using your telegram and using also the phone number you have.

but if your concern is just to make money, in the bull market. you will not go wrong with TON.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Kaspa actually Bitcoin 2.0? on: January 22, 2024, 07:07:39 PM

now that the price is down. i think i'm going to start buying some of KAS. probably after the bull season, mining KAS will be a good start also.

i only heard of the coin when the price touched $0.14 months before Jan. i think the project could be huge in the coming years so its best to just be prepared after all the price can be this low yet and nothing can be wasted when we sell and buy back when time comes.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it even possible to offer 10% daily reward? on: January 22, 2024, 06:55:13 PM
it won't be long and it will become a scam. defi projects were offering 5% APY and they still ended up a scam.  that 10% they get every day will be sold in the market almost every day by users and the price will never go up til this project dies.

just forget the project and just move on to another. this kind of project will derail investors to think they are earning due to the rewards but you got to think of the real value.
611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 22, 2024, 06:41:43 PM
but i think this time he is demonized because of his gay comments. mind you after his gay comments some political channels are talking about him and how Dana didn't tighten the leash of his dogs.

That's precisely what makes him appealing to the crowds even outside the MMA world. A guy who speaks his mind and not bending to political correctness will always be more interesting and reliable to an average person than fighters who self-censor themselves to not offend anyone and not to upset their sponsors.
Funny thing, he's not even that controversial, he's views are (still) pretty much dominating among the "normal" people, it's just we're not used to anyone saying that kind of things out loud.

gotta give Dana the credit for not censoring his fighters too. this i think is one of the freedom that Dana gives to his fighters, they can say what they want to say.
the only issue with Sean is that he doesn't speak to win over the audience to-go on his side. he isn't a politician i think that's normal but he does have a youtube channel with huge followers too afaik. speaking of normal. just as Sean said in one of his interviews, teaching kids to be gay isn't normal. he isn't wrong.

anyway, was he robbed in this fight just as comments on many videos online?
612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 22, 2024, 06:11:10 PM
Because when he won belt from Adesanya, he was everywhere in the media. Starting from interview, ending with his past controversial statements. Before fights with Adesanya, Pereira or against top of middleweight division, did many know about him? He was "that redneck who talks crap" only. But he has been in UFC for 7-8 years before that. Everyone remember champions, nobody remember losers. Everyone gonna pay all attention to Izzy and DDP, and I am afraid that Strickland will be lost among rest of UFC fighters.

First of all, he was holding back at the beginning of his career and wasn't very "controversial". Second of all, it's pretty normal not to be famous when you're low in rankings or not ranked at all. But the point is, once you get famous and people recognise you - you can't just switch it off.
It's not like everyone will get a sudden amnesia and not know who Sean Strickland is just because he no longer holds the belt.
All he needs to do to stay hyped up, is to perform somewhat OK, win a fight once in a while and keep doing what he's doing. Look at Nate Diaz (just one of many examples), he had never won any belt and was losing a lot of fights, but didn't stop him from being one of the most famous UFC fighters. Strickland has way better potential than Nate. After that press conference when he bashed that canadian reporter, he got way more exposure in social media than after winning with Adesanya. He got tonnes of quotes from people not even remotely interested in mma.

Sean was already well known even before his Adesanya. he ranked at the top too. but after his win vs Izzy, he really floated in many channels. every time his name is mentioned, it already rings a bell.

but i think this time he is demonized because of his gay comments. mind you after his gay comments some political channels are talking about him and how Dana didn't tighten the leash of his dogs.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich, average or poor. Who loses more? on: January 22, 2024, 06:02:53 PM
Let's just assume the wealth of the rich has $1M while the poor have $10k
The rich only lose $10k and the poor lose $1000, nominally the rich will lose a lot of money, right, but physically the poor suffer much more, if we talk about the average loss of money between the rich and the poor of course the rich will have more

a person with $10K in today's economy doesn't sound like a poor man. a $100 for gambling capital is more than likely.

the rich have richness, and an income flow without much work while the poor have less amount of money lost but it could mean they lost an amount that is meant to pay the bills. this is why it's just too pitiful to think a poor man still gambles when they don't have much. and it's always the poor man who resorts to committing crime to acquire some cash.

614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do You trust Tether (USDT) Stablecoin? on: January 21, 2024, 06:56:02 PM
Yes, I believe in USDT, even though there are so many rumors that say USDT doesn't have a real dollar backup and say USDT is controlled by terrorists and the like, but because the stable coin is the earliest and most widely used, USDT still exists today.

The thing is Tether is working with US law enforcement agencies (FBI, DOJ) to deter criminal activity. It's a good sign that the stablecoin won't be going anywhere soon. The more Tether works with regulators, the better. What troubles me is Tether's malpractice of printing more USDT like there's no tomorrow. If it's able to back the stablecoin with real USD reserves, there should be nothing to worry about.

Be aware that a USDT collapse would be completely disastrous for the crypto market. After all, lots of cryptocurrencies are tied to USDT's liquidity. The downfall will be severe, albeit temporary as the market will recover at a slow and steady pace. We can't predict the future, so lets hope for the best. Grin

and some say in the political scene that this USDT is going to extend the US hegemony for another 100 years if it continues. this is despite without backing.

but true also once the real fiat money USD will collapse because of the QE since it has been in the news many times when i listen to financial guys like Ray Dalio and Peter Schiff, they are looking at the possibility and only time can tell when.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) on: January 21, 2024, 06:30:38 PM
I’m still expecting DOGE to come back strong. It always has a massive rally when Bitcoin is in a bull run. We may have to wait a year or so but the old DOGE is going nowhere. It will be back with another period of euphoria in thd not too distant future.

I always have a softcorner for doge coin, and love to do short trades in that currency, It might be because in few days elon a makes a tweets and I make quick return. In coming days he might make it a official currency for X, Anyhow, if Elon remains behind Doge until end of this year and early 2025, Im expecting 1$

most of the old users in crypto have for once in their lives held thousands to millions of Dogecoin only to just keep betting and throwing away on dice games, but now it's one of the top coins in CMC. now the old holders are buying them back for a higher price.

Elon is just playing around but i think he still going to be behind Doge, he claimed himself to be the father Doge so be it. and there were talks about him developing Twitter wallets for each user.
616  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Trouble withdrawing from Kucoin? on: January 21, 2024, 05:59:32 PM

I've realised i've been using a fake kucoin app. The trustwallet app is legit.

to which you already have deposited 85K, right?  damn, that scammer is going to celebrate for weeks.  so why do they need to see your trust wallet, they want more?
where did you download the fake kucoin app? you must report it to prevent others from getting scammed.

to make sure its the real kucoin, i think going to their website and scan the QR for the app makes it safer and know exactly that its the right one.
617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it looks responsible as woman telling husband you gamble? on: January 21, 2024, 03:50:24 PM
~snip~
Good point,  timing is a factor when discussing complicated things like gambling,  though we are already in an Era where gambling is no longer a big deal,  there's still a chance that your partner will not agree with what you are dealing with, but if you put it in the position where  both your mood is in the same place, you can use it as opportunity to discuss things where you and your partner  can openly provide your sentiment regarding to what you wanted him to realize.

Good communication helps not to increase  risk but instead  it will serves as a safe guard when you deal things the right way.
Yes, that's what he meant by discussing this gambling problem with his partner so that no misunderstandings would occur. This will allow them to discuss more closely and express what they want. This is why there must be openness from the wife about her gambling activities to her husband so that the husband can understand that his wife only gambles periodically and is still able to look after herself and be responsible for her gambling activities.

If her husband advises her to start reducing her gambling activities until her wife can give up gambling, that would be even better because neither of them would think about allocating funds for gambling. They can shift their money allocation to other things that are more important than just gambling.

it's good if this is the case because the husband can be handled. in real life when a woman starts working and earns her own money while married, it's gonna start a tension between the two. i could be wrong but when a wife asks something like this means she has doubts about what her husband thinks.

we may have to consider where they live since she is from Nigeria. men there are dominant inside the house and will take all the money from their wives. from what i know.
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Silly and scary questions, and what would you do if that were you. on: January 21, 2024, 03:35:19 PM
It's very scary, and I wish it hadn't happened to me. But if that happened to me, maybe I would try to trick them so they would trust me. Next, I will try to save myself. I don't want to be a victim of kidnapping or murder. And I think the rest of my family will try to find me when they find out I'm missing.

By trying to trick them, I still have a chance to live. And that's where I still have to try harder to save myself. After all, I don't store all my Bitcoins in just one wallet address. I keep it in many separate wallets, which I have told my trusted people about. They also know how to use their Bitcoin.

That would be a scary scenario if it happened. And that's why we don't need to tell other people that we have Bitcoin, let alone tell them how many Bitcoins we have.

you can only hope they believe when they see you only have $5000 in one of the wallets you'll give. and then they leave also, it's a lot risky when they know you have a ton and you tried to trick them.

if those people spied on you for a month on social media and learned things about you, where you live, your wife and daughter this is more complicated. it's best to be anon on social media so no one will ever see your posts and keep the BTC secret from the public.
619  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is signature payment for free on: January 21, 2024, 03:20:50 PM

it's marketing. crypto companies have limited audiences which means there are only a very few percentage of people around the world to market their services and most of them are in the crypto sites including this forum. when i say people that includes the gamblers.

when the marketing is successful that means the company also profits which i think the BTC circulates from employing users to clients and back to the crypto company.
620  Economy / Speculation / Re: Post-ETF effect: Has Bitcoin Bottomed yet? on: January 20, 2024, 06:58:54 PM
This is my view guys. What are your views about the current Bitcoin status?

it hasn't bottomed yet that's what they say. some analysis i've read was that the bottom price could be $32k. if what they are saying is true then there is a chance that a huge dump will come before the bounce that will trigger the massive bull run.

i think it will take weeks before the price bounce. it's a gradual decline in price that is torturing holders on whether to decide to sell or not.
