1001  Economy / Economics / Re: strange indicators to know economy is bad on: November 24, 2023, 04:55:34 PM
~~~
In some moments you are wrong. For example, that parents will tolerate a full diaper for a child if hard times come. Children are the most important thing we have, and even if everything is five times worse, then good parents will give the last thing they have just to make their child feel good and comfortable. Any parent knows this, and everyone who has children agrees with me.
A sufficient indicator of the poor situation in the economy is the rise in prices. This has always been and will always be, and this is enough to understand everything.
what about this. parents send their kids to their grandparents in order for them to attend 2 jobs so they could meet ends. grandparents neglect the kid's diaper. they run around the house while wet poop dripping. Grin
another strange indicator is the crocodile farm index, these farms are shutting down during an economic crash for there are no orders for crocodile skins for bags and shoes. these farms let go of their crocs to the California rivers too.
1002  Economy / Economics / Re: Usdt tether buying btc the USDT might decouple of real USD on: November 24, 2023, 04:32:29 PM
it's like USD backed by BTC. makes sense just as they backed USD with gold back in Brettonwoods. The US government has more than 200K BTC and they could buy more from coinbase after all Blackrock is already an investor in that company so they could back the USD with BTC.
that would be an interesting development, i have heard of this before i think from Raoul Pal who said BTC was created after the 2008 collapse. BTC is meant for this.
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: November 24, 2023, 04:14:24 PM
I have observed that the rich, I mean those who are financially comfortable, win more in gambling than the poor. By poor, I mean those who do not have enough to meet all their needs. I don't know the reason for this. Could it be that the rich understand financial management more? Or could it be that the rich are less desperate to win which make them make better gambling decision? I really want to know the reason for this pattern I have observed.
Because of the difference on bankroll. Rich people have a huge bankroll that gives them freedom to increase bet or play more until they win huge amount while poor has only limited bankroll which they will stop immediately once they lose enough.
This is the reason why poor shouldn't play gambling because it was intended for source of entertainment not a way to escape poverty. Bankroll is very important on gambling to stay longer until you hit your streak to profit.
rich can bet huge amounts to win big unlike the less fortunate gamblers can just risk a few dollars. the rich think $500 is just a small amount just as the poor think $5 is a small amount. both of them may have the same outlook like enjoying the game just like what we always read treating gambling as entertainment but the rich entertain themselves more because of the big bankroll they have.
1004  Economy / Economics / strange indicators to know economy is bad on: November 23, 2023, 08:50:50 PM
we know the economy is bad when gas prices have already gone up and all the rest of the stuff we usually buy in the grocery store is up 15%. and because your salary is just what it was the last 2 years, your situation is just as bad as the rest of us. we are in a recession. one reason more economists wanna be think we are in a recession is because we hear it on the news too.
but here are indicators to confirm we really are in an economic downturn.
1. butter popcorn index - people go to movies regardless of how bad the movie is. they just go see movies to just get away from their problems. but when the economy is bad, just sit and watch netflix.
2. diaper rash - parents wouldn't mind if their kid's diapers are already full during an economic crisis and are not neglectful when it comes to the diaper turning yellow during an economic upturn.
3. plastic surgery index - plastic surgery index is generally down during rough times as women wouldn't mind how small their boobs are than when the economy is booming.
4. lipstick index -  women wouldn't spend much on expensive lipsticks so sales are gonna be bad for lipsticks compared to the times when economy is great.
5. japanese haircut index - during a good economy, more people in japan will take care of themselves and get their looks neat and they're not doing this during bad times. women don't go to beauty parlors.
6. bike fatality index - during an economic crisis, people use bikes often or can't afford cars so more bike accidents happen.
7. men underwear index - men especially singles don't mind wearing underwear with a couple of holes in it, no one sees it anyway. men buy less underwear during economic downturns.
8. garbage index - less garbage because people buy less when the economy is bad and buy more when times are good so more garbage everywhere.
9. unclaimed body index - during a bad economy, dead people are not claimed in the morgue. horrible index to look at how bad the economy is.
i'm sure people take care of their family when they die. can't believe this is happening.
i'm sure there are some more, there is also a "beer index" where people prefer to just buy 6 packs and go drink at home rather than a bar.
a few months ago, i bought my kid a secondhand laptop rather than a new one because it's expensive, i think this is also an indicator. and i know he'd break it sooner.
1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We should start looking into Altcoins on: November 23, 2023, 07:32:52 PM
ETH probably is way more serious than other altcoins, this one has already ETF filed by Blackrock. it's more secure to invest in ETH than other altcoins that grow just cents every time BTC spikes.
SOL though is kind of good because it really skyrocket weeks ago, it would probably shoot up again when there is another BTC green candle by next month. in a way, most altcoins are dragged up when BTC is having a bull run.
1006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Crowdfund for a Gambler Who Has Gambled Irresponsibly? on: November 23, 2023, 06:15:37 PM
And what would you say to those who go ahead to donate to these gamblers out of a sense of empathy?
There are people that have been crowdfunded for other reasons like out of love from people who love them. This people are already rich, but you get to see lots of people who are struggling to survive still donate their hard earned money to these people on celebrations like their birthdays, I find it foolish. These people can crowdfund anybody and anyone, they will not find it difficult if a popular gambler they love who has gambled irresponsibly ask for help in the form of financial supporters.
too naive to still support the person right?  and you couldn't really trust the guy is he said this time that the funds generated from this crowdfund would be used right to what is intended.  he gambled away the money that was originally meant for something. there is no assurance he will not gamble again the money to chase the loss.
anyway, it's all up to him already. if someone still trusts him. then maybe he really is worth trusting. not me. i'm struggling myself.
1007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s $4B settlement the green light for spot Bitcoin ETFs? on: November 23, 2023, 04:53:32 PM
One crypto executive predicted five months ago that spot Bitcoin ETFs would only be approved after Binance lost ground on its market dominance. Binance’s $4.3-billion settlement with the United States was the final hurdle before the country’s securities regulator approves spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), many industry watchers claim.
The SEC might be more comfortable working with an American company than an exchange owned by another national. There is also the rivalry between American firms and their Chinese counterpart. Zhao Changpeng might claim that Binance don't have any connections with China but the US will never be comfortable doing business with anyone that has any tie with China.
I also suspect that the SEC will never approve spot Bitcoin ETF until it has put all crypto businesses under its control. This massive fine on Binance also serves as a threat and lesson to other firms for them to abide by all the draconian laws the government has put in place. Just as the FinCEN's proposed new regulation to criminalise Bitcoin mixers, I believe that this Binance drama is the pathway to the approval of Bitcoin ETF.
that might not mean approval it's only binance.us that the US has under control. but wouldn't Hong Kong (China) launch their own ETFs too, and use Binance.com as their defacto index?  both poles should be launching ETFs as it will be beneficial for all. no one should be left behind in all these developments.
they moved the date for the ETF decision to March 2024 so its hard to speculate when it will be approved. it looks like they wanted the ETF approval close to halving date.
1008  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: November 23, 2023, 04:09:48 PM
So yeah, even if 1xbit decided to launch on this forum again under a different brand entirely, they will still be caught, because there will always be a link that associates both casinos.
It is fortunate that the forum has users who are adept at investigating. I would really appreciate that. For now we must not let our guard down because 1xbit casino comes a new face taking the trust of people on the forum so every new casino that comes like it or not will be suspected. Despite having strong evidence that they evade not being involved gradually their ugliness is revealed. Like the casino you have mentioned, maybe one of the real evidence.
~~~
Failed? I dont think that they had failed considering that they are still and running then it is safe to assume that they are still that continuing their scam service. It is really just that they didnt become that active
into this forum since they do know that it is really that pointless on trying out to make themselves that marketing here on this forum because their reputation into this place is already worst or known or simply being busted.
They spent a lot of money on this forum to conduct their marketing campaign but they did not get the expected results from conducting their campaign as their reputation on this forum was only going down. Because they are scamming their customers so much that the scam reports were being exposed in this forum, so they could not fix their reputation. And from this point of view I think 1xbit has failed to put their company in a strong position in this forum.

But it is also true that they are running their business using other tricks and scamming the gamblers in various ways. Hope gamblers will be aware of this forum and be careful about these dishonest gambling sites.
Yeah, for the fact that no scam casino or services come to this forum and survive for long makes this forum of the most credible forum out there, like I think I have said here multiple times, I stopped trusting reviews from Trustpilot, which happens to be one the major rating sites, but only trust reviews from this forum.

Baffles me how a well known scam casino like 1xbit managed to have a good rating score on trustpilot, so let's assume there was no forum like this, 1xbit will go on scamming people who unsuspectingly believe that they are legit due to their seemingly good reputation based on trustpilot.

Anyways, I also hope that more gamblers will discover this forum, so that we have a very huge gambling  community here.
The reason on why they are really that still continuing in terms of operation on which the scam that had been done or made is really just that been selective. We do know that if things turns out to be that minor then it would really be that easily get that be forgotten and the cycle continues on which they would really be making those kind of behavior on locking up users funds
and ending up on getting unresolved. Its true that what if this forum didnt exist on the first place? For sure tons would really be that get victimized due into those non fair ratings.

 the ones who are not in this forum are going to be an easy target for their scam. it's surprising they were not launching on other crypto forums when they are very aggressive in their marketing. they were even pretending to build their trust by sending back the coins they took.

and during the time when they were campaigning here, they were also buying accounts even the ones with negative trust. they will activate those accounts when they get aggressive again.
1009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this the End for BC.GAME? on: November 23, 2023, 03:08:11 PM
it could be that they are just stopping the promotion after all they are already well-known in the crypto community. what a casino needs is to keep its campaign in the forum instead of having promotions and rakeback.

the visibility of ads to the forum seems to have worked on major casinos like Stake, i think it is better to just follow what Stake is doing than doing those signup bonuses.
1010  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BitCoke is a regulated HK based exchange NO KYC, high liquidity, and high limits on: November 23, 2023, 08:31:15 AM

before the major exchanges asked KYC to their cuatomers, they were just asking KYC to those customers withdrawing large amounts. the adoption in Hongkong started late but i think this exchange will also asking KYC soon even the users with the tiniest amount of BTC.

it has a decent interface actually and just like the rest of the platform, they also have a mobile app for ease of use.
1011  Economy / Economics / Re: No Correlation Between Academic Success and Financial Success on: November 22, 2023, 09:10:41 PM
We have seen that it has been debated that there are more A students who work for C students or there are C students who earn more than A students. Personally I don't believe any of this premise. What I believe is that it doesn't matter whether you are an A student or have a high IQ. Rather it's about having the courage to venture into unchattered territories, including taking calculated risk and making the most of the opportunities that lead to high income. In our society today and in the past, the people who have demonstrated audacity and capitalized on privileged advantages to undertake risky yet lucrative business ideas are the ones who end up being of great influence and earn more. Do you agree?

While I think anyone is capable of achieving success without going through higher education, there are certainly some obstacles in business that become more evident the higher you move up the chain. There is also an element of backing that if I have two candidates applying for a job, one has some qualifications from a medium tier university and the other has nothing but basic tier school grades, then I could hazard a guess that the university candidate may have more perseverance at the very least. However at a low level it is a very tiny factor because I've seen some truly awful university graduates entering the business world without a clue how to operate, so you need to judge everyone individually.

it always boils down to experience. i would hire the two and see which of them last in the worse condition in the workplace and the job they would do. i bet the one who graduated from a medium tier university will quit after a day.

the ones who with silver spoons stick up their ass always quit because they think they deserve a position after just a few months. the ones who can endure and have the perseverance to win are the ones finding out their strength.
1012  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop the self entitlement claims on others gamblers winnings. on: November 22, 2023, 08:56:48 PM
is the guy who won that $16,000 worth of Niara the guy who avoided his friends after winning?  i wouldn't be surprised. he hid because if he shared 100N, he'd be bashed, by his friends but by giving more than $500, a lot of his acquaintances would become friends asking the same amount. and then if he gives just about $200, they will complain about giving him only $200 while the other friend receives $500. the self-entitlement is just like saying to the winner he has no right to say no.
1013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Combination of the young age correlated with Bitcoin for the future on: November 22, 2023, 08:07:04 PM
some kids are just lucky to have gotten some BTC while the price was just very affordable. it's however unbelievable that he doesn't know what to do with his life when he has the privilege of doing what he wants to do. he is young and has money.

he could just wait til the price goes $100k and just pursue a degree for now.  financial independence can actually make a person think clearly but if he is unstable despite being young and having no huge responsibility, he needs a girl.
1014  Economy / Economics / Re: No Correlation Between Academic Success and Financial Success on: November 22, 2023, 07:49:50 PM
there are C students who earn more than A students.

this looks true. those batch mates i have who are straight-As are nowhere close to the one of the simplest guys in my batch who smoked so much weed during our high school days. i saw that guy roaming the world from Alaska down to Oceania. he owns 3 businesses already while the straight As i know are trying their luck Basking music on the streets. there is a local proverb here and it goes. having low grades is fine as long as you don't poop watery shit in the classroom.

people forget those straight-A students but the kid who shits in class. will never be forgotten.
1015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in psychic betting? on: November 22, 2023, 07:26:54 PM
i would believe it if Fatih Ozcan also predicted that he'd be working in that Turkish restaurant before he advised his boss to buy a lottery ticket. if he hadn't seen that coming, then it's just coincidental.  because anyone with such kind of psycho ability, they would have been winning the entire year and would not just win half of 1.7M.
Fatih would have been rubbing elbows with Erdogan if he used it properly.

i also remember that Octopus. didn't the owner grilled that octopus to crisp when the owner bet and lost?
1016  Economy / Economics / Re: World changing and those who don't adopt this Will stay poor on: November 22, 2023, 07:08:43 PM

okay noah we're already grateful to you.
i was also thinking of those tokenized assets running on popular blockchain as they are already tested and after all the government can take over if they intend to. nothing that a government can't do when they are up to seize assets and real properties. which one?

there are signs already showing today where prices are so high but making people poor overnight will likely spark a riot or worse civil war.
1017  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Winz.io confiscated winnings after a sudden change in terms and conditions on: November 22, 2023, 06:22:12 PM
you seem to be a threat to them you only deposited less than $100 worth of ETH and you have made it to $500, that is 5x you could be draining all their funds in no time if they still allow you to play.  i'd like to copy bet.

it is unfair though that they take your winnings since you won all those before the change of terms and conditions. they have decided though, nothing else can be done but maybe the AG can do something for you.
1018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: November 22, 2023, 05:35:24 PM
In a way that AI has been helping us in many different ways, I think this is not applicable with gambling like taking all the factors to predict the outcome. AI does predict outcome by analyzing previous data, in short its prediction is from the pattern, pattern that a human can't see or comprehend and I think that's cheating. Gambling isn't made for such technology, perhaps it is the enemy of gambling. If AI continue to upgrade, enter all the industry that it could be then it may be a disruption for some causing some boundary and may be a new age of security detecting AIs in some area.
In the future, AI will help us in various ways so that we can benefit from AI. AI is currently still in the development stage so that it can be even better and can reach a level where it can provide the results desired by humans. However, casinos will not just watch the development of AI but will prepare AI to fight AI too. And later, there will be competition between AI involving casinos and gamblers who want to win. But it looks like casinos will still make the most profits because that is their business. Meanwhile, many gamblers still experience loss because they are not yet able to use AI.

casino's AI is to keep gamblers from winning and the gambler's AI is to keep winning. it will be a hell of a fight as AIs are getting sophisticated i think the dev can actually develop something that will deceive the other bot. AI industry will be the new industry that we are going to be working on.

AIs to predict sports outcomes might still be impossible to achieve for now. we have a long way to go since this depends on the athletes playing the game.
how much access will AI have inorder to predict games? personal life of athletes, health and team meetings. i doubt they are going to allow it.
1019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether Freezes $225M Linked to Human Trafficking Syndicate Amid DOJ Investigatio on: November 21, 2023, 08:54:25 PM

nothing is said in this article but just freezing the amount and i thought it must be in my country since it mentioned Southeast Asia.

Tether, USDC, or any other centralized stablecoin can be frozen by government request. no court filing, no investigation but from chainalysis and solved the case by freezing. it's seems very common in USDT though. maybe we really need to start using another stablecoin that can't be frozen.
1020  Economy / Economics / Re: When Was the Last Time you Came Across a Positive Economic News? on: November 21, 2023, 08:27:25 PM
nothing good is happening but always war and politics. it only boils my blood watching the news. new regulations are being introduced in my country and it can make people hungry like open season on the sea. no positive news for the economy to grow.

idk, ffor over a century of harvesting the ocean in our country which faces the Pacific and is Archipelago with more than 7000 islands, we never had this law before but fisherman now has to live with it. we only have 2 seasons, rainy and sunny. we don't have winter here.
